I have only been watching flosstube since June, so I am slowly”meeting” new stitchers. I just watched your flosstube 1 2023. You mentioned you would like to learn to make project bags. I so wish I lived close enough to come sew bags with you! That would be so fun. Plus I would get to visit another province! I am doing the summer Quaker, because I saw you talk about it. I can’t figure out instagram, so I am just happily stitching along. Thank you for your bright smile on a cloudy, rainy day here in western NY.

I finished a gold dimensions stocking, Santa in sleigh with reindeer flying over a village, very challenging., made it for my husband. They are beautiful when done
If you are still flosstubing in 4 years I’ll be waiting for that last reindeer to be done It’s always a delight watching you. I love what you stitch. Samantha, today is the first time I’ve watched one of your videos. I really enjoyed #8, so I went back and watched #1 to find out more about you. I love your enthusiasm and your glasses!!!!! The thin frames look so precious on you. Please tell me what fabric you are using for the Treasure Island stitchalong. Hello Alison, great idea …. I could maybe fit a first letter in the gift tags. I believe I used 3 strands while beading the mill hill kit, I know I did it just how the instructions indicated. And at times some petite beads didn’t want to fit so I would put them aside a try a different one until i found one that fit. Funny how they can be ever so slightly different in size. Thank you for spending your time with me! I always enjoy reading your comments.

Hi Samantha! Thank you so much for doing the Nora Corbett deer parade. I love the whole set and I will be around in 4 years when you get them finished. Can hardly wait to see how you frame them! Your Mill Hill sleigh is beautiful, don't think I have ever seen that particular one before. I have done a Gold Collection Dimensions stocking kit and they are a pain in tush to do but the end result is beautiful. I gave the one I did away to a church member since my then husband decided he did not want it. I have a couple more to do and there is another one that I really want to do. The one I did was on navy blue Aida with a deer, creek, and a church. I really like the stocking that you are working on and might hunt for it. Your framed dragonfly is gorgeous. You must be so inspired to stitch when you are at the cabin unless there is too much wildlife outside the windows distracting you. Happy stitching.

Oh I love those reindeer! They have been in my list for a while and I just need to start them. I’ve never beaded but the number of patterns I want to do with beads just keeps growing so going to have to learn how! I can’t wait to start the Summer Quaker! I’ve had it kitted up ready to go for a while now!

Vonna does 3 layers of mat board and paints the edges then puts paper on the back. Foam core would be pretty thick.
