I love watching your videos. Your beautiful smile and how excited you get with your projects you are working on gets me excited about getting my projects done. You are the one that got me wanting to try a Mirabilia. I bought 2 and I have them both fully kitted. I started the petal fairy because it was the smaller of the 2 and I love it. I might gift that one to my granddaughter when I get it done. I am already looking forward to your next FlossTube❤
You just bring so much joy, Samantha! Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects. I love the HRH series. I have stitched Christmas at HRH and have Farm at HRH kitted to stitch in honour of my dad but I also really like Autumn at HRH (well, I guess I like all of them)! Your Mira's are so beautiful! One of these days I am going to start one! I will definitely check out Arica's FT. Thanks as always, Samantha and happy stitching!
Hi Samantha! Wonderful video, I am so in awe of your mirabila’s! I too am now the proud owner of one of Arica’s portfolios (same design as your ladies) and project bag w/ back pocket! Currently binding a baby quilt for my soon to arrive granddaughter, but after that, back to stitching!
So much beautiful stitching and fun plans. Your excited and enthusiasm is absolutely contagious. I always want to stitch all the things after watching your videos.
As always I enjoyed a lot watching your video 😊 The portfolio from Erica looks amazing, beautiful, very practical and very well made! 😍👝 I really like all your WIPs but this time "Holly" by Nora Corbett and "Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow" were my favorites 😍🧵🪡 I am really looking forward to your next video 🥰
The holly pixie may be the one that finally gets me to try a mirabelia! It seems like a very manageable size for a first attempt. Thank you for sharing!
Hello, just been watching this with a cuppa, it's just gone 4.30pm here in the UK on a Friday afternoon and already the light is fading towards darkness. Once again you have given me enthusiasm to stitch more, I'm popping over to watch your friends flosstube now, happy stitching.
Thank you so much Debbie !! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I’m already planning out what to stitch over the next couple of weeks. I’m feeling so inspired to stitch all the things this time of year !!! 😀
I was had a difficult day at work, came home, watched your video and feel so much better. Thank you! Keep doing what you are doing my fellow Canadian. P. S. I looked up Hygge, and it's exactly what you are.
I don't stitch Nora or Mirabilia, but you encourage me to add sparkle, shine and my own personal touch to what I do stitch. I just love your presentation style. Keep doing you!💜
So nice catching up with you Samantha!! I really enjoyed your pixie. Already snowing where you live! Here in Holland there's so much rain the last few weeks.... let's stay warm and stitch beautiful projects!
You never disappoint, Samantha! Great video! I have seen in the last two or three weeks several flosstubes that talk about Picture This Plus fabric. They are saying that Picture This Plus rinses in hot water during the dying process and this makes the fabric shrink and the holes are smaller. Maybe that is why your stitches look a little bit different? Hope this helps. Happy stitching! ❤
Loved your video. You are always so happy and excited about your stitching. Your projects are looking great. I have 3 Hawk Run Hollow projects. I just started the Christmas one using Vicki Clayton silks. Happy stitching.
I love your videos. You have inspired me to try a Nora Corbet chart. Her work is beautiful & I have always been a bit intimidated by her charts. But, I decided I am going to give it a try. Thank you & keep those videos coming.
I knew when I saw the woodland fairy on a stash unload I had to get it! I’m so glad I did! She’s so pretty! The other one I had to search for was the one Erica showed on your video ,Adia? I think she’s called, amazing! I got her. Currently working on my first Mira…Titania! So fun! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for a beautiful video; your planning and organizing this one is so nice. I am always inspired by your projects and how much you stitch. Good job, Samantha!
Thank you so much for noticing!! I take pride in creating content that I think you will enjoy! You made my heart happy with your complements. I hope you will come back again Carol when you are looking for some company while you are stitching. -Samantha
Hi Samantha - I will have to look more closely at your stitching at the December meeting to watch the progress of that piece. The waxer - use the back of it so that you can keep the image on the front. Lovely video like usual.
I wish we had an embroidery guild near me, that sounds like so much fun! Love getting to spend the hour catching up with you and I've already subscribed to Erica as well! You all were so fun to watch together, so now I'm thinking of hosting a stitching cabin weekend near me! Hope you have a great weekend!
I have 5 TW Wips, they tend to languish unless I get motivated. You do great motivation. I'm dying to know which TW dragon it is. Kitting in silk is expensive but so worth it. I set annual goals for each of my projects so they all get touched. It's odd how we can become picky about fabric. I have fallen in love with Under the Sea and Bestitched Me for hand dyeds. That looks like a coconut next to the berries on the bird project. The grace notes fabric would be perfect for Blackbird - mossy like the moors.
I was bummed to hear that you wouldn’t be coming to Queen City, but I’m happy that we’re able to get a piece of the festivities. Loving all your Mira’s and well all your stitching really ❤️
I really enjoyed Arica’s first floss tube and hope she continues! I have done the wedding anniversary sampler from Teresa Wentzler for my parents and it was so beautiful…well worth all the effort. It has similar greens to yours which is so lovely. Getting cold here in NB and one day of snow so far. ❄️ The knitting has come out!
I’m thankful I have the opportunity to stitch a TW, if it wasn’t for flosstube I don’t think I would have discovered the love for her charts. This is really the time of year I enjoy stitching the most! Stay home, with a cuppa and stitch the weekends away!! Thank you for visiting with me today, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
You are so welcome! Thank you for spending your time with me today! I hope you will be back again the next time you would like some company while you stitch. -Samantha
I always enjoy your videos. I too have The Woodland Fairie, but I’m not set up to stitch her. I just ordered her from 1-2-3 Stitch before I couldn’t get her anymore. Happy Stitching 🧵🪡
Oh. My. GOSH!!! I have that Just Nan “Mitten Men” kit!!! I found mine at a thrift store!!! We will have to do a SAL sometime!! Already have my 24 new starts for 2024 planned out, however, there’s still about 6 weeks left in this year, if you want…
I love seeing your stitching, you are so inspiring! Your fancy ladies are gorgeous. You inspired me to kit up my first Nora Corbett to start on my birthday this year.
Thank you so much for the compliments :) I must know which Nora did you decide to stitch for your first stitch?!! Birthday Start too that means it was a special project for you!!
Love your stitching! I went and found Holly and everything to stitch her. Must say you do inspire me. I just finished the border on my Spring Quaker and hope to work a week every month until I finish, then on to Summer Quaker which I have started.
I just adore your channel ♥️♥️ I love all the projects you’re doing! I need to pull out the pandemic sampler!!! And now I want to start along with you on the 15th!!!!
Hi Samantha, thankyou for another video. You’re inspiring me to stitch a fairy. Looking for one with a pretty scene around her. I like your description of your long winter. I’m in Nth Queensland Australia and it’s the opposite here, it’s the summer that is long, from December to March, with April starting to cool down. I’ll be starting a winter scene cross stitch on Dec 1 to help get through the heat. 😊
You are so welcome, it’s truly my pleasure. I very much reading your comment, it has me chuckling 🤭. It really is a special community we have and it kinda blows my mind that there are viewers from all over the world who watch my little corner of flosstube! I thrilled inspiring you at stitch a fairy!! I hope it has sparkly wings. Happy stitching. -Samantha 🦋
Thank you so much Amber !! I’m excited for us !!! With all these Mira’s going out of print has me in a frenzy, as I Love the older designs. Must buy all the Mira’s haha 😂.
You are so welcome, it’s truly my pleasure! Thank you for the compliment, I’m happy to inspire and entertain you while you stitch!! See you again soon. -Samantha 🦋
First time watching today. It was a joy spending time seeing your projects. I've been on a Lavender and Lace patterns search myself so I enjoyed your enthusiasm for some of the older patterns. I have an old Teresa wentzler pattern. "Mermaid". It has some pencil notes and highlighted areas. If you do not have this one and would like it I would love to send it to you. I've been looking for a home it.
Thank you so much for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!! I would love to add the mermaid chart to my collection as it would be right up my alley of desired style of stitching. My email address is hyggestitcher@gmail.com if you would contact me there that would be great 👍 -Samantha
I love your enthusiasm and happiness. I’ve been going through some personal issues and it’s 6:30 am here in Idaho USA. My sister in law is from British Columbia and I absolutely love her going on about 35 years. You have brightened my day. It’s interesting how someone you don’t know, can make you feel better. Thank you so much. I did watch your video with Sara. I do have a friend like that who is also a best friend. She is on a mission in Missouri for our church with her husband. Thanks again. You almost talked me into a Mirabilia stitch. Have an amazing week. Your new friend from Idaho.
Hi Lorraine, I dedicate this video to you! The fact that I was able to bring a smile to your face while we share the love of cross stitch together, gives me purpose and encouragement to keep creating!! I so appreciate you. ❤ If you can stitch the day away!! Until next time Happy Stitching 🦋
Awww I have come back to this comment bc I want to note how genuine and supportive our stitchy community is. Just the fact @hyggestitcher was able to put a smile on your face will have made a difference on your challenging day. Thank you for being a part of our lovely community ❤
Great video Samantha - saw Erica's video earlier this week. Your enthusiasm always makes me smile especially on the bad days. I am a Canadian who lives in Scotland and where I live, we don't get a lot of snow so I miss it (but maybe not in October but then you do live in Winterpeg lol) How many times as kids did we have ot wear winter clothing under our costumes lol. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hello Tammy! Thank you for leaving a comment today as I very much enjoyed reading yours :) I completely get it .... How about Easter egg hunting in the house instead of outside in the yard. What a bummer hahaha. We learn to live with it. Glad you enjoyed your visit today and I hope you will come back again when you would like some company while you stitch. I'll be here -Samantha
@@HyggeStitcher oh for sure Easter Eggs in the house. My British husband couldn't believe one time when he was visiting the last week in April, that we had a snowstorm lol. I have been watching you from the beginning of your journey and you might have enabled me a time or two (or six).
Hi from North Georgia, USA. I just subscribed to you and Arica. I want to thank you both for your discussion about the skin on Mirabilias. I am starting my first one and was confused about it. Since I am an Aida stitcher, I didn’t want to have to switch to a linen to do the one over one. I like that you are doing big projects. I have to love a project and have a definite purpose for it. I’ve had a neck light for a while. I’m going on a plane next week and you two reminded me I need to bring it. I’ve had the Tiger Lily’s project keeper pattern for a while. I even have vintage embroidery pieces set aside to use in it. I need to get busy.
Thanks for watching and subscribing Ann. What did you decide on the skin of your new fairy? If toying Aida make sure to switch to a sharp needle of stitching 4 stitches in one square for the skin ;)
@@annm8680 it will still look lovely! I would fear the skin stitches could look uneven on Aida… plus honestly, it’s not that enjoyable to stitch compared to the 2 over 2!
I enjoyed your video :) your joy is so inspirational and infectious! I have Shakespeares Fairies on my wishlist. It would be my first Miribilia! And you have my finger that much closer to pressing Pay Now eeeekkk.
Thank you so much Debora !! I’m going to connect with you on Instagram this weekend. I’m stitching on then pandemic sampler today and loving every stitch!! Thinking of you 😊😊😊
We also had snow here in Calgary before Halloween but it’s just not sticking around for more than a few days at least. I adore Teresa Wentzler and am starting my first dragon in January. The floss list/all the blends are intimidating me though
Yay! That sounds so exciting !! I will join you in January as my TW Lily maiden will be a focus project. Kitting up the project is a big job. With my experience start at the top of the design and it’s simply one stitch at a time. Slow progress however, epic details!!
@@HyggeStitcher I’m planning to try and get most of the stitching on the border first because if I start with the dragon I’ll lose all excitement for a new project and never do that frame
So good to see you again. Is the Missas (?) silk thread a Canadian company? They looked beautiful. Could you say more about them? I am always interested in the different silk thread companies and this one is new to me. I have to agree with other commenters on how enthusiastic you always are. I love your excitement for your projects, and although I am not a Mirabelia nor Nora Corbet stitcher, I love to see how you do on them - always incredible stitching! It brings me enthusiasm for my stitching which is primarily samplers. Thank you again for your delight in sharing and stitching.
Hello Virginia, Thank you so much for your comments and encouragement as it keeps me wanting to create more!! You can find silk thread packs on www.missussedas.com or on etsy however I don't believe they are Canadian. So far I have loved my experience with the silks and isn't fun to have different project using different materials. Makes it a little more exciting!
You know, eventually you will inspire me enough to actually purchase my first fancy lady or fairy or something in that line. But how does one choose? Oh they're all so pretty. Thanks as always for sharing your really beautiful stitching. For sure I'll go check out your friend's new video. Have a great day. By the way, it is presently snowing at my place in Québec.
Well wouldn't that be amazing?! I'm flattered here. I would start with a Nora Corbett design and find a mini pattern to try out! Then once you have completed that well it won't take long for your list of must stitch to grow. Snow Day for us too. Perfect day for staying home, making soup and of course stitching!! See you again soon Alison :) Thank you for visiting today. -Samantha
Thank you so much Nancy !! When I stitch with #4 Braid Kreinik I will use a 26 size needle. Also I use a shorter length as I find that helps the thread from getting thin as you stitch. Hope that helps a bit!
Which TW Dragon are you thinking about starting? I started doing TWs in the 90’s and met several local stitchers thru the TW Bulletin Board ages ago. Your Holly is looking lovely! I finished her last year and loved her!
Thank you so much! I have the Story Teller Dragon pattern however, I'm working on getting fabric and the flosses kitted so I can start in the new year.
I always look forward to seeing your videos. You inspired me to start my first Mirabilia. Are you still stitching on your Summer Quaker/birthday start or are you taking a break from that? I joined in and will be stitching mine throughout the winter.
That’s so exciting Linda! I have my Summer Quaker bag right beside my stitching spot. I plan to keep stitching on it every month. Most likely for a few days as I can see myself stitching a lot more on it this coming spring and summer months!
Hi, I love the 2020 Pandemic Sampler by Sarcygirl. I am trying to find where I can get the chart. I went to her channel but couldn’t find it. Can you please tell me where I can find it. I want to stitch it with you. Thank you.
Found it Sheila, Copy this link and it will take you to the freebie google doc so you can download the 2020 pandemic Sampler drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1sfFOlu75zQ-4mE-BgAzy_q-QjSROmgJO You can fully kit it up with DMC's and get stitching!!
I just signed up for Stitch North October 2024…would you by any chance be considering this retreat in Brampton Ontario? It is on my bucket list to meet and stitch with you.
Ok, @hyggestitcher and I will see you there!! All booked :) sshhhhhh Samantha doesn’t know and I will wait till she finds out here…. What do you think her reaction will be??? Hahaha
Hi Hanna 😊!! Great Question…. I have always stitched the skin colours 2 over 2 like it’s charted in the design. I must say that when I have seen other stitchers projects that are done 1 or 1 I’m blown away on how beautiful it is! I think because I stitch in hand it has steered me away from trying it. Maybe one day in the future I will try it out. Thank you for watching and spending your time visiting with me today. -Samantha 🦋
@@HyggeStitcherI stitch in hand and have done skin 1 over 1. It turned out well but not as perfect as I would like so I am going to try a hoop for just the skin next time and see if it makes a difference. 😊
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. I really enjoy stitching Luca-S kits and I am sure you will too. Happy stitching!
I love how you talk about the details of each cross stitch and switch multiple times between the pattern’s picture and your stitching.
What a bummer hahaha. We learn to live with it. Glad you enjoyed your visit today and I hope you will come back again when you would like some company while you stitch. I'll be here

@@FibersandFlossCanada Hi. I’m afraid my girl (Camille in Bloom) will have coarse skin although I may try your suggestion.
@@annm8680 it will still look lovely! I would fear the skin stitches could look uneven on Aida… plus honestly, it’s not that enjoyable to stitch compared to the 2 over 2!
To save the image on your waxer run your floss across to back instead of the front
Yes 👍 makes sense !!! Thank you so much 😊!!!
@@HyggeStitcher you’re very welcome 😉
I enjoyed your video :) your joy is so inspirational and infectious! I have Shakespeares Fairies on my wishlist. It would be my first Miribilia! And you have my finger that much closer to pressing Pay Now eeeekkk.
Thank you so much Jennifer!! I hope the fairies land in your mailbox!! :)
That’s a beautiful portfolio!❤
Thank you so much 😊!!!
Great flosstube!
Thank you so much Debora !! I’m going to connect with you on Instagram this weekend. I’m stitching on then pandemic sampler today and loving every stitch!! Thinking of you 😊😊😊
Great video as always.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Samantha! Love your videos, your stitching is an inspiration 🎉
Oh thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed visiting with me this morning! -Samantha 🦋
@@chinookcrafter 100% agree with you there !!! I’m excited for you !!!
Wonderful video!
Thank you very much!! 🦋
I am starting Woodland as well, waiting for the fabric to come.
YES!! That's amazing!! We are starting on the 15th Maybe it will work out for you aswell!! I getting really excited to start her.
What a fun video! Now you have me thinking about starting another hawk run hollow 🤔
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I must ask which HRH’s have you started so far ?!!
I’m almost finished with Christmas. I would like to start either maps or houses next
@@Theinhandstitcher yup !! sounds like you are possibly ready for a new year new HRH start !!!
Thank you for this information. Yes. I love having options for silks. For any of our stitch products. Can't wait for the next video.@@HyggeStitcher

I always enjoy your flosstube! You are so upbeat and fun! Which needle do you use for your Kreinik? It’s tough to find one with eye large enough.
Thank you so much Nancy !! When I stitch with #4 Braid Kreinik I will use a 26 size needle. Also I use a shorter length as I find that helps the thread from getting thin as you stitch. Hope that helps a bit!

Thank you so much for watching !!

Hi Milka !! Thank you for visiting with me today !! 🦋🦋🦋
Hi, I love the 2020 Pandemic Sampler by Sarcygirl. I am trying to find where I can get the chart. I went to her channel but couldn’t find it. Can you please tell me where I can find it. I want to stitch it with you. Thank you.
Found it Sheila, Copy this link and it will take you to the freebie google doc so you can download the 2020 pandemic Sampler

You can fully kit it up with DMC's and get stitching!!
@@HyggeStitcher thank you so much ♥️
I just signed up for Stitch North October 2024…would you by any chance be considering this retreat in Brampton Ontario? It is on my bucket list to meet and stitch with you.
Ohhhhhhh THERES STILL SPOTS AVAILABLE?!!! Samantha….. seriously?!
Ok, @hyggestitcher and I will see you there!! All booked :) sshhhhhh Samantha doesn’t know and I will wait till she finds out here…. What do you think her reaction will be??? Hahaha
@@FibersandFlossCanada wow…hooray!
Hello Samantha....do you stich the skin on the Fairies 1over1?
Love it, great video as always ~ makes me miss you even more ❤❤❤
