All your projects are stunning!!! Because of you I decided to try to stitch Summer Quaker on 40ct!!! Before you saying that, I had no idea it's possible to stitch on such high count, and I love a challenge. But then you said you are stitching the Jane Hopkins project on 46c 😳 Unfortunately, I don't think I can do that. I am going to be 51 in a few days, (my birthday is also in August), and even though I can still see very well far away, my short sight is not good anymore. I think the 40ct will be difficult even with the magnifying glass I use, so I think 46ct would be impossible, but that's OK. Also, I really love your Mirabililas, I have to start one myself the moment there will be a "free spot" for them in my stitching plan!!! Wow! You are working on some really intense projects! Many of my WIPs are smalls and just for fun. I love your projects, they are beautiful! For the stitching caddy it would be great if there was a covered container that held a piece of beadalon's tacky mat in the tray for beading. Maybe velcroed in place. Just a thought. I did cottage garden fairy on a stormy cloud Aida. It was my very first cross stitch. You so should try an opalescent fabric on a mermaid. I doing deepest love on an opalescent blue and purple fabric.
My Mother In Law LOVES The Wizard of Oz, so I'm planning to stitch up Emerald City for her. I'm taking notes from your changes as well! Thank you! On the Zodiacs, what if you just did all the circles? Then you can plan to stitch a piece of the border every time you do a sign? But the circles will at least let you jump around more.
TW style patterns where what my aunt stitched so I just associate that with her. I love her fantasy designs, it’s a shame she’s closing down her website and retiring. I have Stargazer in my stash but I’ve been seeing some inspiring conversions (including adding hair!) so I’m leaning towards that. A thought if you did end up stitching it twice

Happy 2 years! You are pure joy! The witches (who I named Maeve & Carlita) and the mermaid block (who I named Una) are my favorite blocks too so I stitched them first and they were so fun. I love watching all fancy/fanciful ladies grow. I can't wait for you to start the dragon.

What a lovely bunch of WIPs you have going. I too have always stitched Mirabilia on the called for fabric, but that's about to change! I have an opalescent for Sleeping Beauty and dyed a fabric green for Mooka. I have 8 Mira's kitted and about 20 other/samplers. I wish I could stitch them all at once! Happy flosstubiversary xx
Amazing floss tube video, Samantha! I really enjoy all the beautiful stitching that you do and share. Owl Forest Embroidery is one of my favorite design sites and I am currently stitching on several of their designs. I am almost finished stitching Emerald City, am about half way finished on 100 Owls, and have managed to keep up on the Treasure Island SAL so far. I recently heard that August 4th is Alice in Wonderland Day so I’m hoping to start stitching Alice in Wonderland then. I'm a little curious about what happened in 2021 when you started your channel - were you a monogamous stitcher up until that point or did you have a massive run of finishes in the year as you have nothing older than 2021 which is very impressive!

Happy Anniversary! Thanks for the Wip Parade. I seem to have no shortage of things kitted or partially kitted as well as started. Your trying to build your Wip Count and I'm trying to reduce mine. I'm very easily enabled and have gone from just having couple projects at a time to many. I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment with how many I have which is why I'm trying to decrease the number. Not being very successful so far this year. I've gone from 84 wips to 80 I think it is right now. Take care.
Loved your choice of fabric for you Halloween at Hawk Run. Would you be able to put up a picture of both your and your friend's Alice in Wonderland when they are finished? It is such a fun chart and it would great to see two different interpretations. How do you stitch with Kreinic without tearing out your hair (and stitches)!? I love the effect, but I have a terrible time threading a needle and then keeping the threads intact as I stitch. Any suggestions welcome!!! Love the snowmen. I also am enchanted with your embellishments on Emerald City. Oh, I had forgotten your Zodiac project and it is gorgeous. Love the fabric. It is like deep space. I love that you would like to jump around on the Zodiac stitch. If that is your jam, do it! Oh!!! I have been so tempted to get the Hollandische schooner chart so many times. It is huge. I doubt I would finish it in my life time. I appreciate your warm enthusiasm for other's projects as well. That is so cool. Your Spring Quaker is just beautiful. The border is fabulous. Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary! I appreciate you and love seeing all your projects! I was feeling the pull to try a Mirabilia and when you recommended Petal Fairy as a good one to begin with I decided that was the one for me. I have the chart and all the threads and beads. Just need to decide on the fabric. That chart seems very hard to read. I think I’m going to have to figure out something to help that. Maybe it will be my birthday start in late August. We’ll see!

Hi Samantha - Your friend with the future project bag and table organizer business should not limit her access to Facebook as many people are not on it and do not want to get on it - that includes me at this time since I work full time and am busy with a lot of home responsibilities. That table mat can serve on the arm of the sofa or chair and at a retreat, it could be your "space" to lay out your stuff on the table. I miss seeing you at the shop when I go, by the way. Hope to see you at the September meeting.

For your project with all the zodiac signs. You could stitch all the circles inside the border first then work on the inside of the circles and the border as you wish. Maybe that would work out for you. 😊

Just subbed!! I was on the TWBB in the 90s. I've stitched a few but my favorite is the 'Castle.' It took five years but I got it done. Which dragon will you be stitching?

Hi Samantha. Happy flossiversary! I really enjoyed your WIP parade. You are making such great progress on all your projects. I’m curious if you have a rotation or if you just stitch on what is calling you each day. You must stitch in hand to make such great progress (I’m a poker - or is that a stabber ?……. it takes me much longer). On your Mira’s (just love them)…for the faces….do you stitch 1over1? Full crosses? Can’t wait to see how you’re making out each month….keep posting…and sharing..

What a lovely bunch of WIPs you have going. I too have always stitched Mirabilia on the called for fabric, but that's about to change! I have an opalescent for Sleeping Beauty and dyed a fabric green for Mooka. I have 8 Mira's kitted and about 20 other/samplers. I wish I could stitch them all at once! Happy flosstubiversary xx
Amazing floss tube video, Samantha! I really enjoy all the beautiful stitching that you do and share. Owl Forest Embroidery is one of my favorite design sites and I am currently stitching on several of their designs. I am almost finished stitching Emerald City, am about half way finished on 100 Owls, and have managed to keep up on the Treasure Island SAL so far. I recently heard that August 4th is Alice in Wonderland Day so I’m hoping to start stitching Alice in Wonderland then. Happy Flosstubaversary! You have so many great projects, I'm just coming to the end of Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow myself. Love all your Mirabilias. I'm a little curious about what happened in 2021 when you started your channel - were you a monogamous stitcher up until that point or did you have a massive run of finishes in the year as you have nothing older than 2021 which is very impressive!

Happy Anniversary! Thanks for the Wip Parade. I seem to have no shortage of things kitted or partially kitted as well as started. Your trying to build your Wip Count and I'm trying to reduce mine. I'm very easily enabled and have gone from just having couple projects at a time to many. I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment with how many I have which is why I'm trying to decrease the number. Not being very successful so far this year. I've gone from 84 wips to 80 I think it is right now. Take care.
Loved your choice of fabric for you Halloween at Hawk Run. Would you be able to put up a picture of both your and your friend's Alice in Wonderland when they are finished? It is such a fun chart and it would great to see two different interpretations. How do you stitch with Kreinic without tearing out your hair (and stitches)!? I love the effect, but I have a terrible time threading a needle and then keeping the threads intact as I stitch. Any suggestions welcome!!! Love the snowmen. I also am enchanted with your embellishments on Emerald City.
Oh, I had forgotten your Zodiac project and it is gorgeous. Love the fabric. It is like deep space. I love that you would like to jump around on the Zodiac stitch. If that is your jam, do it! Oh!!! I have been so tempted to get the Hollandische schooner chart so many times. It is huge. I doubt I would finish it in my life time. I appreciate your warm enthusiasm for other's projects as well. That is so cool. Your Spring Quaker is just beautiful. The border is fabulous. I so look forward seeing the finish. You are a fast stitcher! I am a slow one. I totally agree with your fabric choice for the Pandemic Sampler. It is great and the colors really shine. Do you stitch in hand or use a hoop, or use a stretcher bar to do your projects? Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary! I appreciate you and love seeing all your projects! I was feeling the pull to try a Mirabilia and when you recommended Petal Fairy as a good one to begin with I decided that was the one for me. I have the chart and all the threads and beads. Just need to decide on the fabric. That chart seems very hard to read. I think I’m going to have to figure out something to help that. Maybe it will be my birthday start in late August. We’ll see!

Hi Samantha - Your friend with the future project bag and table organizer business should not limit her access to Facebook as many people are not on it and do not want to get on it - that includes me at this time since I work full time and am busy with a lot of home responsibilities. That table mat can serve on the arm of the sofa or chair and at a retreat, it could be your "space" to lay out your stuff on the table. I miss seeing you at the shop when I go, by the way. Hope to see you at the September meeting.

For your project with all the zodiac signs. You could stitch all the circles inside the border first then work on the inside of the circles and the border as you wish. Maybe that would work out for you. 😊

Congratulations on your 2-year Flossiversary! Your WIP parade is awe-inspiring. Have you thought about stitching the circle borders around each sign of Zodiac? That might be faster than stitching the whole border but still allow you to jump around at your whim.
