You, my good sir, are a wizard!!! I couldn't figure it out and thought it was a programming or wiring issue since I would have to hold down the switch to close the garage door. Saved me time, money, and a heavy load of disappointment! Simple fix, video goes step by step and gives detailed instructions and explanations, audio and video quality were great. My first impression was completely wrong about you and I apologize for judging you by the first 15 seconds in your video. Therefore I destroyed the like button and subscribed! Greatly appreciated 🙏🏽👍🏽
You certainly know your stuff! You aced it. Saved me an unnecessary expense and an argument with the spouse. May you and your fine family have a healthy happy Thanksgiving. I know you'll be one of my Thanksgiving blessings.
Great vid but wonder if it can help with this particular anomaly after re-engaging? : Mine's a brand new garage door (I'd also been moving stuff in to store). My girlfriend didn't leave her key fob so I had to open the garage manually. I re-engaged the part that pulls back the garage door but the door is now only half closing?! i.e. I note the travelling white part (that engages the black metal mechanism part of the door) is stopping about two feet away from where it should - hence the door no longer shutting. I definitely haven't broken anything but that re-engaged white part refuses to travel back to it's further forward original position. Any extra help is welcome before I try a sensors check / travel adjustment tomorrow...!
Thanks, Mike, for this very well-laid-out video on garage door issues. I watched the video completely through last night and then particular segments this morning. I went to the garage about 11 am and took on the challenge and within an hour, had the door operating like new. For a 73-year-old, totally disabled man, with your instructions, I felt like a young man doing a weekend project. Yea!!!
THANK YOU!!!!! We cleaned the sensers and it still didn't go down. Then, I simply moved one a tiny bit upwards, and Voila! Tighten the wing nut and no serviceman or $$$ needed. You are the Best!!
😢 Thank you so much for this. You saved me from paying $$$ to have someone come out to troubleshoot/fix the issue. As a single woman who knows very little about home repairs, videos such as yours gives me more confidence when it comes to repairing small things myself. My sensor was knocked out of place and was not pointed towards the other and I lined it up just as you showed and voilà the door started working. Thank you so much. I’m definitely subscribing.
Thank you! I swept the floor and then had a non working opener. I followed your instructions and reset the positioning of the sensor, tightened the wing nut and MAGIC! Your well done video saved me money, time and frustration.
Thank you! You solved my problem. My garage door would not fully close; it kept reversing open. Thanks to your video, I realised that the morning bright sunshine was hitting one of the sensors. Only happens seasonally when the morning sun comes from the northeast direction; the rest of the day the north-facing garage is in shade. What a relief!
Thank you!!! I've been screwing with my garage door for two days and you fixed it in five minutes and six seconds! I ordered new sensors yesterday but they weren't bad, just not aligned. OUTSTANDING!!!!!
Thank you for kindly providing this helpful information. I know a retired woman who was talked into replacing her sensors without the “expert” doing any troubleshooting first.
Thank you, Mike. Suddenly had trouble with my opener. It kept reversing. I went through all the things I knew to look for. Sensor out of line, loose wire...etc. The sun was coming in a side window at just the right time of day and blinding my sensor. I never would have figured that out in a million years without your video. Thanks
Thanks a bunch! We're moving, and somebody put a box where it blocked the sensors from seeing each other. I thought my husband would be impressed. He wasn't. I take that as a sign that his confidence in me exceeds my own.
You’re a Godsend Mike! I was getting frustrated trying to figure it out by myself; but after watching your video I fixed it within minutes! You’re amazing! Thank you so much!
Yesterday evening my garage door started to do exactly this. Would not close and kept popping back up again. I did exactly what Mike said and WOOO HOOO it worked!!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS INFO. So happy!!!!
Thank you. We never knew how to fix this problem. We have paid a lot of money over the years to have this same problem fixed repeatedly and you just explained it and it was so fast and easy and you made it so understandable.
At last - a video addressing my exact issue! Garage door would begin to close, then reverse about a foot before fully closing, and the main unit would blink. The previous homeowners screwed the sensors on its sides so I couldn’t see the green lights unless undoing the wingnuts (didn’t even know they were there until I watched this video). Thank you!
Mike, Thank you so much. Your clarity and description of the sensor problem was all new to me. In my case , the visual blockage to the other sensor was resulting from a spider web array on the sensor and a slight adjustment of the wing nut. Wow! It all worked 1,2,3. Thanks Again. Five minutes and a problem that I have been experiencing for several months was solved.
Mike, I just took a look at your video and cleaned the sensors, brushed away some fairly heavy dust and it worked!!! My garage door was sticking upon opening and now it works perfectly and even seems to be opening more smoothly than before the problem occurred. Thanks, man!
I would like to thank you so much. I am a single woman with two grown children and I am not savvy when it comes to fixing things I tend to always call people who probably charge me a lot of money to fix simple things. But watching your video I was able to do an easy fix on my garage door you were very descriptive and helped me solve my problem. I am definitely going to subscribe you are a lifesaver!
Thank you! I added a garage door opener on my Jeep and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work! Turns out it's just early morning and the sun is shining on the sensor. You are a genius!
My garage door won't close because there was an obstruction blocking the sensors which I didn't know. I decided to search TH-cam for an answer. I found a video that outlined everything you need to do to fix the problem. I removed the obstruction but did not attempt to close the garage door because the video said both sensors light must be green. But one of mine didn't turn green. Then I searched further, and found your video. I heard you say in your video that some garage doors sensors may not have both lights green. This saved me. One of mine was green and the other amber. So I decided to try to shut the door and voila it closed. Thank you for that detail.
I clicked on this video because it was the first one recommended, and I was prepared to watch several before fixing my garage door problem. However, “one click, that’s it!” 😆 Problem solved! Thank you very much!!!
Thank you!!!! Just saved my family at 9pm, garage door wouldn’t close and I tried several other videos. It was the sensor alignment! I did just like you and forced one upward a bit, until both lights were solid and it worked like a charm ❤
Sir!!! This is a top notch video!!! You explained it in more simple terms than just "Line up the sensors." I never paid attention to the lights before!!!
This evening my garage door started automatically going back up, everytime it got about a foot from the ground when I was attempting to close it. I tried to close it about 10 times, and got the same result every time. After doing some troubleshooting, I discovered that my issue turned out to be a loose bracket that held one of the sensors to the wall. Whoever installed the system before I bought the house, used nails to secure the brackets to the wall instead of screws. So the nails in one of the brackets had loosened a bit, allowing the bracket to slightly vibrate once the bottom of the door was near the sensor. As a result, and while the sensor bracket was vibrating, the sensors got misaligned for a slight moment, triggering the safety mechanism. I replaced the nails with screws and the problem was solved.
Thank you sooo much. This fixed it and saved me a $60 service charge and who knows how much more if I had not found your video and cancelled the service call! Keep up the good tips!
If the overhead unit light is not blinking, it is not an alignment problem with the sensor; it may be that the down force needs to be adjusted i.e. increased. If the door when taken off the opener moves up and down freely, that may be the solution. The force can be changed via the screws at the back of the motor unit, one is for down and one is for up force.
Your video saved me...garage door wouldn’t go down after I took out the trash tonight and I was panicking! The sensors just needed to be cleaned. Many many thanks!
OMG!! I LOVE you!! I kept reading the instructions and troubleshooting on various sites having NO idea what they were talking about. I had a feeling it was the sensors but they kept saying things about wiring, voltage testing, etc.... UGH!!! Your videos was perfect and explained EXACTLY what to look for and how to fix it & why. I was able to get the garage door closed by just holding the button constantly but I can't do that when I leave with the remote soooo.... Lets hope that is what it is. We just had a 5.1 earthquake today so it probably was loose & that knocked it out of alignment. It is dark now and there are spiders back there... so tomorrow morning when it is light I will don gloves and know what to look for to fix it. Bless you for such a simple and clear explanation.
It worked... sorta. The problem was actually a loose connection at the push in connector on the opener in the rafters. When I turned the sensor sideways... the light went on & BUT when I turned it right way.. nada. I knew (1) It was a sensor problem (the amber sender was dark & the green receiver was solid) & (2) I used another guys vid to check if it was receiving a signal by using my TV remote & clicking it next to the sensor to see if I had a signal & just couldn't see it in the sunshine ... nothing. So (3) I checked the wires by the door & all looked good. Then (4) I played with the wires at the push in connectors while chanting please God, please God (couldn't hurt right?) and used the remote to see if I got a light & BINGO!! Tightened the wingnut & VOILA!! Solid amber!! I have a working door!!! I also disconnected the door & sprayed Triflow on the hinges, springs & wheel bearings & cleaned extra oil out of the track. Heaven knows when that "annual" maintenance was last done. I had de-spidered the door & had the ladder out, so why not!! Seriously, you gave me the confidence to do all of that & I can now get in & out of the garage....and quietly. My neighbors probably love you too! Thank you again!!!
Wooowww, I had this problem for 2 years or more. We had to get out of the car and close it manually with the external control and sometimes the door was going back making us get mad and waste time, I replaced the rollers, greased everything and today I looked for another alternative and found your video. I just adjusted the sensor to have a solid green light and the problem was fixed. Thanks a lot.
My problem was not included in the video, so I thought I would mention it. The curved arm that attaches the trolley track to the garage door has two bolts/nuts on my door. I did not realize that one of the bolts had fallen out. The arm was no longer straight and it ended up literally pushing the top of the garage door down at it's top instead of "pushing" the door down from the point where it is mounted. Then, the mounting point where the manual release is attached came loose. I found the original bolt and added a new nut and then re-affixed the locking portion into the base where it locks.......this solved the problem. The garage door was stopping about a foot or more above the ground because it was just pushing the garage door down from the top. Hope this helps.
Wow! So glad I found your video. I was just quoted $180 to come out and troubleshoot for the 1st 30 mins. I'm going to go home and try this after work and see if it solves the problem. I am so tired of having to pull the car out, go back inside to close the door, then exit thru the side door every day. Wish me luck!
Thank you sir after two months of flickering and trying to figure it out, I looked at your video once, and the problem solved. The Mrs. will be so happy it was happening on her side😅 Thanks again.
My garage door failed in the manner you showed me on your video. I checked one sensor that had a bright orange non-flickering light. Because of your advice, I knew that was the power sensor and that it was working correctly. I checked the second sensor and that sensor had a dim green bulb. I cleaned both sensor lenses with Windex. I adjusted the wing-nut on the sensor with the dim green bulb until that bulb turned on and remained bright green. The door closes perfectly. Thank you for your help.
Thank you!!! Thought the sensors were working fine because both lights were on until I watched this video - didn't realize a slight blinking of the light would be the cause. Such a simple fix!!
Faulty wires was my issue. Thank you for this! We’re in a townhouse so the constant reject of the door was driving us insane, and my neighbors too I’m sure...
@@MikeKlimek Awesome video....What would you suggest if i am getting no green or yellow light on either sensor, but still able to close the door using the wall mounted garage opener???
@@durockize It could be a several issues...maybe a bad sensor(s), bad bulb in the sensor(s), bad/damaged wiring (I've seen wiring with staples punched through it), bad connections to the motor, or bad board?
Mike Thanks for the video. After watching I successfully fixed my garage door. The problem was exactly as you described in the video. One of the sensor was not aligned. The wing nut was broken. I put some tape around the sensor. The door now close perfectly. You now have a new subscriber. Thanks again, keep up the great work and keep safe.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAVING ME FROM HIRING SOMEONE TO FIX MY GARAGE DOOR. 😽 (I used to call my very handy Papa but he passed 2 years ago and I feel a little lost without his wisdom.)
Wonderful!! Information like this helps those of us who aren't savvy when it comes to repairs and not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars for a tech to come out. Thank you!!
@ Evening_Star..... YES I agree those who aren't SAVVY his lessons are invaluable & you're RIGHT the MONEY he saves us is HUGE! I almost feel like a BOSS LADY😅 after he helped me FIX my garage door!!
My garage door opener will not close if opened or will not open if closed. Following this video, one of the sensors does not have a green light. I climbed up to the "motor unit" and wiggle the wires that connect to the sensors. One of the wires was loose and can easily be pulled out. I pull the wire all the way out and push it back all the way in. Now I have a green light on each sensor. Problem fixed. I almost call the garage door opener people!
Brilliant guidance -- this was the very issue and it was fixed readily by a simple readjustment! Am housesitting for a friend who's out of the country and was panicking. Free and clear!!!
I literally just bumped my sensor with my trash can and my door wouldnt go down. I nearly fainted. Then calmed myself and did a youtube search. 1 minute into your video I walked over and adjusted the sensor and now the door is working again lol. That would have been a $150 service call. Thank you soooo much for this video!!
You are a good sent. I can't thank you enough for helping me troubleshoot my garage door issues. That's exactly the problem I had. As soon as I adjusted the sensor the green light became solid and I was able to close and open the door. Thank you 🙏
Hey great job boss. I have been ignoring my garage door for a while now because I don't want to pay to fix it, just come across your video and boy it was that simple..🙏🏾
I want to thank you for this video, I have had this issue for more than 1 year!!! I was scared to think it would be crazy expensive for a fix, it was the sensor that was out of line, you are very awesome, sir!!
Thank you very much. I watched 3 minutes of the video and checked that there was a spider web and peace of little dried leave stacked in the sensors way. 3 minutes of watching and 10 seconds to take care of the issue. I am very very Thankful. God bless you sir.
Thank you! Just had a new Chamberlain installed and your comment about the sun blinding the sensor solved the problem. I waited a half hour for sun to move and sure enough, sensor was in the shade and the door went down without a problem.
This is super helpful. My garage door has exactly the same problem. Your diagnosis and fix in the video are so clear that I was able to easily fix mine by adjusting the scanner's position. Thank you, Mike!
Hey Mike, Thanks a bunch. Sometimes we take the hardest and most expensive roads to find out the simplest of corrections saved time and $$$$$! Cleaned the sensors, and garage doors working and closed the book for now on a new opener which was not needed.
My door stopped and reversed 8 inches above the floor. So your video led me to think when the door gets close it twists the rail and light just enough to break beam contact so I adjusted the green light unit, tweaked it in, and it seems to work now. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video!! We were able to call a repair person and this was our last ditch attempt to try and do it ourselves to save $! This worked!!!!! Our sensors weren’t aligned and just needed to be readjusted. THANK YOU!
Perfect! I checked sensors first but didn’t catch the flickering light. After futzing with examining and lubricating chain and track I found this video. One sensor was very slightly misaligned! Thank you!
Hi, i watched your fine video and fixed the garage door by adjusting the sensor on the bottom of rail.........and .........now, works perfect!!! Thank you!!!
I’ve watch many and I mean many videos on TH-cam to try and fix my problem and they all pretty much covered the same things. Your video explain the little things that matter, like the sensor lights and their purpose. I’ll try to realign mine this evening. I’m pretty sure that’s my fix since I’ve tried everything else.
Just wanted to say thank you so much Mike, this video helped me figured it out what was the problem with my garage door, plus made me feel so proud of myself for fixing something I was about to call someone and pay to do it
I had the same problem but both LEDs were on and not blinking. I cleaned both anyway, re-installed. Now it works fine. Thanks for sending me in the right direction!
Mike, amazingly this simple realignment and cleaning of my trip sensors solved years of re-pushing the button. NOW things are quiet again when the device is going down. Great point on the early morning (in my case) causing an issue.
Thank you for your video on adjusting my Chamberlain garage door opener. Your video was by far the best and the video that goes directly to the point of how to adjust the garage door opener. I think I have garage door opener adjusted properly such that it stays closed. The garage door was closing and then immediately opening after touching the garage floor.
It's the worst when you come back from work and the door is playing up you don't want to stand there and press the button until the door goes down or in the morning trying to get to work on time thank you so much again.
Thank you! The sensors weren’t my problem, but you got me on the right path with the lights on them. Eventually found a loose wire in the unit that caused the sensor lights to flicker. Secured it and works great!
@@stingrayproduction4249 I was up inspecting the unit and simultaneously looking at the lights on the sensors. I noticed as I was poking around, the lights on the sensors were flickering. Turned out to be where the power line plugged into an extension cord. It wasn’t making a solid connection. So when the unit would vibrate to lower the door, it would trip the power off and on, sending the door back open.
I think that is my problem too. Cleaned the sensor and have it face each other, but still doesn't work. It closed for about a feet than go back up. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully it work after this.
mike, seriously, thank you so much. this simple task, simple thing, just completely went over my head, this video not only fixed my garage door it also helped me realize i need to be more thorough when inspecting things. preciate it man!
Mike, Thanks A Million! Its 105 degrees Hot so I thought it was THE HEAT that would not allow my garage door to go down. It was that the Garbage can was BLOCKING THE SENSOR. 😡🤣🤣 Had I not viewed your video I might have been out of "a few hundred dollars" calling a garage repair service. Again Thank you so much for shating YOUR VIDEO.
I watched a number of videos & none of them specifically solved the problem. Turned out to be the connection of a sensor wire AT THE OPENER SCREW TERMINAL. Maybe never tightened, or lossened over time from vibratio. Check That Too.... Thanks for the great video, Mike!
You, my good sir, are a wizard!!! I couldn't figure it out and thought it was a programming or wiring issue since I would have to hold down the switch to close the garage door. If the overhead unit light is not blinking, it is not an alignment problem with the sensor; it may be that the down force needs to be adjusted i.e. increased. The force can be changed via the screws at the back of the motor unit, one is for down and one is for up force.

It is dark now and there are spiders back there... so tomorrow morning when it is light I will don gloves and know what to look for to fix it. Bless you for such a simple and clear explanation.
LOL! You're very welcome!
@@vrr3256 You're welcome! Great job of troubleshooting btw
Yes! Thank you for posting this. You just saved me from having to call my husband 3000 miles away at work.
Excellent!
Awesome Jose!
Learn something new everyday. Video was perfect and right to the point.
Glad it helped you!
Thanks Mike , I will try to fix my exactly issue garage door . Thanks again.
Welcome!
Adjusting the sensor fixed my issue. I didn’t know about the flickering light as a indicator that it might be off just a smidge. Thanks!
You’re welcome!
@@MikeKlimek what if it's not blinking, indicative of readjustment needed? I have one green and one red.
Thank you sir after two months of flickering and trying to figure it out, I looked at your video once, and the problem solved. The Mrs. will be so happy it was happening on her side😅
Thanks again.
Always good to keep the Mrs. happy Gee! Glad it helped you!
You’re a lifesaver sir! I was about to go nuts tryna figure out what’s wrong when nothing was blocking the sensors😆
LOL-glad it helped!
Glad it helped Richard!
Thank you so much!! My sensor was flashing and I simply moved it a tad and it works!!
Yessss!!!
Thank you!!! Thought the sensors were working fine because both lights were on until I watched this video - didn't realize a slight blinking of the light would be the cause. Such a simple fix!!
Love it! You're Welcome!
Faulty wires was my issue. Thank you for this! We’re in a townhouse so the constant reject of the door was driving us insane, and my neighbors too I’m sure...
You're Welcome!
This video just saved me from having to call someone to fix my issue! A tiny twig was stuck in a cobweb over one of the sensors. Thank you!
You're welcome Rheanna-glad it helped you!
Thank you so much im at a friend's house and thought I broke it and if I didnt fix it I'd have to pay for a new one but luckily this helped!!
Awesome! Glad it helped!
Glad it helped you and Thank you!
working fine now. thanks, you saved me time and money. cheers.
Awesome-You're Welcome!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAVING ME FROM HIRING SOMEONE TO FIX MY GARAGE DOOR. 😽
(I used to call my very handy Papa but he passed 2 years ago and I feel a little lost without his wisdom.)
You're Welcome! Glad to help
wow it was that simple. I really thought i broke the garage door lol thank you so mhch!!
LOL! You're Welcome!
Wonderful!! Information like this helps those of us who aren't savvy when it comes to repairs and not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars for a tech to come out. Thank you!!
That's just awesome! You're welcome
@ Evening_Star.....
YES I agree those who aren't
SAVVY his lessons are invaluable & you're RIGHT the MONEY he saves us is HUGE!
Cha-Ching! Nice job and saved some cash!
You probably just saved me a few hundred dollars just by wiping off the lens and tweaking the alignment. Thank you!
LOL You're welcome Heather!
Brilliant guidance -- this was the very issue and it was fixed readily by a simple readjustment! Am housesitting for a friend who's out of the country and was panicking. Free and clear!!!
Awesome Kerry glad to hear it!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! you saved the day!!!! I was heading to work and couldn't get ahold of my husband. Glad it was such a minor issue!!!!
Sweet-glad it helped you!
LOL way to go Queen!
You are a good sent. I can't thank you enough for helping me troubleshoot my garage door issues. That's exactly the problem I had. As soon as I adjusted the sensor the green light became solid and I was able to close and open the door. Thank you 🙏
Awesome-glad it helped you!
Hey great job boss. I have been ignoring my garage door for a while now because I don't want to pay to fix it, just come across your video and boy it was that simple..🙏🏾
Sweet! Glad to help
I want to thank you for this video, I have had this issue for more than 1 year!!! I was scared to think it would be crazy expensive for a fix, it was the sensor that was out of line, you are very awesome, sir!!
LOL!-glad it helped you!
Thank you very much. I watched 3 minutes of the video and checked that there was a spider web and peace of little dried leave stacked in the sensors way.
3 minutes of watching and 10 seconds to take care of the issue.
I am very very Thankful.
God bless you sir.
That's great! Glad to help!
Thank you! Just had a new Chamberlain installed and your comment about the sun blinding the sensor solved the problem. I waited a half hour for sun to move and sure enough, sensor was in the shade and the door went down without a problem.
Welcome! Mother Nature just having a little fun!
This was really helpful. I just fixed my garage door by watching the video. I had same problem for months now and I just fixed it. Thanks so much
Your welcome! Glad it helped you!
This is super helpful. My garage door has exactly the same problem. Your diagnosis and fix in the video are so clear that I was able to easily fix mine by adjusting the scanner's position. Thank you, Mike!
Glad to hear it Cong!
Wow!!!! My garage door's vibration going up and down caused the wing nut to loosen!!! You're great!!!
Awesome!
Worked perfect! Was frustrating me for a few weeks having to hold the button. Thank you sir!
You're Welcome!
Wow Sir !! This happened to my garage and I was all over the TH-cam trying to find the solution. Your video fixed my issue in a min. Thanks a lot. 👍
Awesome-you're welcome!
Thank you for your video. It helped me fix my non-closing garage door without calling a technician!
Awesome-glad it helped you!
Hey Mike, Thanks a bunch. Sometimes we take the hardest and most expensive roads to find out the simplest of corrections saved time and $$$$$! Cleaned the sensors, and garage doors working and closed the book for now on a new opener which was not needed.
Awesome Onyx!
THANK YOU!
Cha-Ching! Nice Work!
Perfect! I checked sensors first but didn’t catch the flickering light. After futzing with examining and lubricating chain and track I found this video. One sensor was very slightly misaligned! Thank you!
Awesome! You're Welcome!
Loved it, it took me 5.05 minutes (your video duration) + 1 minute to fix my garage door issue :). Amazing video! Thank you for posting it!!
Awesome-glad to help you!
Hi, i watched your fine video and fixed the garage door by adjusting the sensor on the bottom of rail.........and .........now, works perfect!!! Thank you!!!
Awesome and you're welcome!
Thank you and good luck
Just wanted to say thank you so much Mike, this video helped me figured it out what was the problem with my garage door, plus made me feel so proud of myself for fixing something I was about to call someone and pay to do it
Way to go Laila!
Ours has been on and off since we got it. In a few seconds you explained the issue and how we can keep it working. THANK YOU!
You're Welcome!
I had the same problem but both LEDs were on and not blinking. I cleaned both anyway, re-installed. Now it works fine. Thanks for sending me in the right direction!
Glad you got it figured out!
I fixed the problem with my garage door in a minute. The video helped me and saved me some money.
Thanks 👍
Cha-Ching! You're Welcome!
My garage-door-opener issue appeared to be the sunlight that was mentioned near the end of the video. Very appreciated.
Glad it helped you Daniel!
Mike, amazingly this simple realignment and cleaning of my trip sensors solved years of re-pushing the button. NOW things are quiet again when the device is going down. Great point on the early morning (in my case) causing an issue.
Glad to hear Paul!
Nice work Gerald!
I checked your video today and followed your instructions and it worked perfectly and solved my problem. Thanks buddy
You're Welcome!
I was about to rewire everything. Glad I thought that was a bit much and sought for a better solution!. Thank you Sir!🙏🏾
You're welcome David!
Way to go Bob! Glad to help!
How did you fix the loose wire? From the head unit or sensor? Main wire?
You're Welcome Brick!
The sensors not being aligned was exactly the problem. Thank you for the fix!!!!! Perfect.
Awesome!
That's awesome Kia! Glad it helped you!
Saved me a call to repairman. Pushed the sensor back in place and it stopped blinking garage door now works flawlessly
Sweet-glad to help!
I watched a number of videos & none of them specifically solved the problem. Turned out to be the connection of a sensor wire AT THE OPENER SCREW TERMINAL. Maybe never tightened, or lossened over time from vibratio. Check That Too.... Thanks for the great video, Mike!
Thank you-glad to help!
Thanks to you I saved myself a service call and service charge. Thanks a million,
You're Welcome!
