With how much attention to detail is in the game it really is sad how many people online say the game is bad cause “it’s too easy” or “the combat is too simple”, both of those points being countered easily with “it’s supposed to be a game that you ease into first so you get the basics down” and “I guess you haven’t read the move list page for each character yet, have you?” respectively. There have also been complaints about it not being a very expansive world, and yet Persona doesn’t have an expansive world like Genshin does, yet Persona is widely praised (I love Persona 5). In short, I think people are too hard on the game, and they need to realize that it’s not supposed to be exactly like every other game out there, as then it’s be boring cause it’s no different. Thank you!!! I started playing this game not having high expectations, since HSR turned out to be extremely similar to Genshin (just turn based, yk). Thought this game would be the same. But it’s just so different that it gives me early Honkai Impact 3rd and Persona 5 vibes, which I personally love. The combat system has easy mechanics, yes, but so does HI3. I’ve never gotten bored of the mechanics or the game in general and people aren’t complaining there as well… Also, you can make the game harder by yourself: in hollow 0, for example, there are events which can reduce your characters hp (even to 1). The mechanics are going to be quite important then! Even reminded me of Sekiro with all the perfect parry action and not trying to get hit. I suppose the main problem people are trying to address by saying “the game is too easy” is that the characters have too many HP and therefore players don’t really have to make any effort.

Instead of being overly enamored by the beautiful detail put into Zenless Zone Zero's NPCs, we should at least make it known to the devs that the NPCs dont even turn in your general direction if you speak to them. For example, try speaking to someone by standing behind them, they don't even use any animation to turn to see you. Only then will this be absolutely perfect.
