Hiking Up a Railway to an Abandoned Mountain Fortress (Budget Travel)

This was one of my favourite travel days so far - I wanted to go to a place with this incredible cave fortress complex, but it was out of my budget so instead I thought it would be fun to do a budget challenge and see how much we could do with just £15 for the whole day. I went on a hike along the railway that I'd found some very limited information about - I heard it led to a fortress on the mountain but I had no idea how accessible it would be or how long it would take. it ended up being a lot of fun and a memorable experience. I also managed to see an amazing soviet mosaic and eat some local food. Its days like these that remind me that you don't always have to do the "big" things and spend lots of money, as days like this are just as good if not better!!
