  • I came back to a place I previously visited when I was 10 but was able to actually enjoy it properly this time!! It's a great place with some stunning mosaics and lots of info around. I try to give as best explanations as possible but as always I'm not a historian, but hope you enjoy :)

I have always wanted to visit this! I absolutely love that it's Tony voicing the introductory video. I LOVE watching Time Team.

I thought you might have been going either here or Bignor. I’m coming to Chichester from Canada in a few weeks and I’ve been trying to decide which one to visit

Welcomed by Tony Robinson of Time Team/Black Adder (Baldrick), how fitting. It would seem the only thing it is lacking is a cafe for a coffee and cake post tour ;) (It would be cool to have an eatery that sold goods that would have been eaten back in the day.

Haha indeed!! I did actually grab a coffee before I left but you’re right a themed cafe would have been awesome!!

Awe cool - I've been there. Fantastic to see it again as a video walk round. Met the gardener there and the good thing is they are growing as authentic varieties of old apples/pears/figs as they can. Lots of medicinal plants too. Thanks 😛😀

That was very interesting. The early Romans sure did know how to build, I am always impressed by there underground heating. And that must have been a huge palace

Yeah the scale of it would have been insane!! And taken so long to do those detailed mosaics. Thanks for watching ❤❤

I'd say that was a pretty accurate guess on my part, especially since I've never been there, but I'm a huge fan of Time Team, and as such...
