I really like the way John makes sure that the person hes interviewing understands that they're both on the same level and that he's no better. Something I pick up on in almost every LWE video I watch. Really helps level the conversation.

Any Bible that keeps out the name of Yahweh is not a real Bible. There are a few translations that include the Fathers name not just the translation JWs use. Very uplifting interview. Not easy but handled with care and sensitivity. I'm from the Isle of Wight and would be very interested what churches are receptive to this ministry.
That's beautiful, and many thanks to this gentleman for being so patient with this man who has been deceived by tainted JW doctrine. And yes, if any part of our salvation were contingent upon what we had done on earth, no one could ever be really sure they'd done enough; not 100% secure in the promise of eternal life with God in a far better place.
Jesus gives clear instructions for everybody to follow, like to drink the wine and eat the bread. JW thinks those are instruction just for just the annointed, but Jesus did not give separate instructions for the great crowd. They are instruction for Everybody. In a 1985 Watchtower, JW said that Jesus was not the mediator for everybody but just for the annointed. They were still trying to figure out who Jesus was. It's really sad.

I was brought up JW. This man dealt with this gentleman in such a graceful way. Give to you that he was not a full fledged JW he was studying with them. The hardcore JW are much much harder to touch their hearts.
Acts 16:30-31....no mention of “Repent of bad things you’ve done”...just believe and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior/Redeemer/God...if you believe in Jesus Christ as Lord means you have already repented. Repent is not “...of your sins”...it is to change what you believe in to believing in the Lord Jesus Christ to save you and HIM ALONE. The entire Gospel of John was written to explain how to get salvation and the word REPENT isn’t even written ONCE in it....but the word BELIEVE is in it an average of 5 times per chapter!!!

We ARE to repent for salvation, but if you trust and believe in Jesus Christ alone, that He is God in the flesh, and in His finished work, and discontinue all other beliefs in any other ways to connect with “God”, then you have ALREADY repented.

The JWs would say the exact same thing if the tables were turned. They even refer to their doctrine as "The Truth." "But they'd be wrong!" I hear you thinking--yeah, yeah. They'd say that about you as well. Only once you've woken up from your religious slumber do you see how ridiculous the concept of all this "us vs. them" in-fighting actually is.

Hello living waters eu, i want to start having one 2 one conversations as well but can never get people to sit with me. How do you guys get people to sit down for an interview?
Just a guess, but the back of their shirts ask the question " Are you a good person?" And they have a camera and interview station set up. They could wait until someone comes up and comments on the shirt or they could ask passerbys the same question until they get a fish that bites. Then they could ask if they can film them. I think that is what happened because you hear the man refer to "being good" a few times as if it was part of the conversation before the interview.
What I usually do is hear if someone has a problem, I would ask them what's going on and start preaching the Gospel to them, giving them the Good News so they can see the light in the darkness. Other times I share my testimony with them and this one works really well because it catches their eye and want to hear more so you introduce Jesus in you testimony (obviously, he is the one who saved you after all) and let them hear hope for their lifes. You can search on how to evangelize, or ask you pastor or Simone spiritually mature, I'm sure they'll help you.
I think having a camera and mic helps attract people. Remember people love getting attention. There is another video by LWE where they have a big sign reading "Are you a good person?" And at the end John gives the person on the stand five pounds. From that I understand they set it up like a challenge, take the good person test and receive £5 if you pass it. I thought it was a brilliant idea to get people to hear the gospel. Personally I dont do interviews like this, but I look at the people around me and try to take the opportunities I get to be alone with them. Could be neighbours, colleagues, friends, etc.

Jehovah is three syllables and was made up by Raymundus Martini, a 13th century monk. The name Jehovah has also been used long before the Bible Students/Jehovah's Witnesses started using it by the Freemasons, who really get off on using it - and they are cultic/occultic. Saints Help me im in trouble and persecuted by even false Christians. I need to find Saints in Scotland or UK and soon as it looks like im going to be homeless in September. Im bedbound 20-23 hours a day with spine damage and in pain every day sometimes its really bad and at its worst im on high doses of morphine im still in agony. Thankfully its helping me but i cant keep up this high dose for long. family and friends are lost i have been saved about 5 years and been seeking Saints online but there is so much betrayal its just sad. Please if anyone knows a Saint in the Uk or a Church let me know especially if its in Scotland.
mark keenan I may have found something. Please check this website. It is for an international affiliation of house churches. I checked in locations and I see there’s a tab for Scotland! This means there’s, (hopefully), at least one house church there. Email the admin with your request and hopefully they could get you in touch with someone for fellowship. I’m generally housebound and find their videos and befriending members online has helped me.

The only thing that destroys families are all the different stories, out there, about God and His laws. There is a very real distinction about what Jesus taught and mankind's "wisdom". (Matt 10:32-36). Humans have a tendency to be very opinionated and self-assuming instead of trying to keep learning everyday. We have free-thinking wills because He doesn't want us to be robots, but He hopes that we will come to recognize that He loves us and that every commandment by Him is out of love for us and is not meant to be a burden or a restriction. But, just like children, there are always bad ones who don't want to follow the rules because they are seeking self gratification and not the good of others. Just like in the garden of Eden, Satan lied to Eve and told her that God was holding back something good from her and that "good" was "knowing good and bad for herself". (self-governance) However, God made humans out of love and knew exactly how to take care of them that would make them truly happy, but Satan said that humans could do it better, well...look what man has done to the planet, the animals and each other....have we done a good job in taking care of the planet and the animals, and in ruling ourselves??? are we taken care of in the best way possible??? Do we have peace and good health??? No, we don't! Satan lied to Eve. But Jehovah, God (to prove a point) is allowing humans to rule themselves for a while to see if we can do it but we can't, we need His help, and not the help of a self-serving angel who turned himself away from our loving, heavenly Father. Pretty soon, Jehovah, God and his son are going to step in and provide a truly GOOD government for us that will take good care of everything. It's only HUMANS who can't forgive and forget, but thankfully, Jesus blood sacrifice is a perpetual sacrifice for our sins, so all we have to do is ask for forgiveness, in Jesus name and with true repentance. Keep seeking the Kingdom and stop judging others because we humans can't presume to know the scope of God's forgiveness. But Jehovah, God does have work that needs to be done (Matt 24:14 "And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come".) that started with Jesus and the apostles and that's to tell others about the Kingdom until the end of this system comes, because this system is going away when the kingdom comes back (Daniel 2:44) and, anyone wanting to be under that Kingdom arrangement, needs to be on that NARROW path that Jesus spoke about. Not the path that is broad and spacious that everyone is following. Witnesses are not in opposition to anyone, but like Jesus and his apostles, we are continuing the work of trying to find sheep-like ones who RECOGNIZE Jesus "voice" and who recognize the true message (read John chap 10).There is a real distinction between this world and what God originally intended for mankind. Satan singled Eve out because she was vulnerable and he was successful in his "attack", just like a lion who roars in hopes of scaring a sheep away from the flock (1 Peter 5:6-9 " Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time, 7 while you throw all your anxiety on Him, because he cares for you. 8 Keep your senses, be watchful! I paused at 7:00 minutes to type this. This older guy is deceived, and he is the one who has deceived himself! It is painful watching this because I know, without ever physically meeting him, that he is in fact a sinner. I know this because we all are sinners. Don’t forget that also it says in the Bible that faith without works is dead. So whereas you are correct that belief is the requirement for being saved, healed, etc (all through Matthew it talks about faith) he does not want us to just sit back and not join in the fight against pagan beliefs.

That's what I always ask ..... As these sorts of ministries conveniently gloss over or act as though James 2:19-26 doesn't even exist. The churches confuse salvation by various "works" of the **law covenant** that the Judaizers in the early Christain congregation wrongly held to and insisted others do, that Paul spoke against in his epistles, such as in the first three chapters of Romans. With the different "works" James is talking about that are "works" which befit repentance that all professing Christians are to preform in imitation of the fine conduct of Jesus Christ. As proof their faith in him is genuine.
Faith without works is dead means that, if you have repented from wrong doing there will be works (Activity of some sort?) That shows you have changed your attitude in respect to your belief in God and Christ. Jehovah's Witnesses doing the preaching work is an example of this and is the height of what Christianity is supposed to be about. That's why the world at large hates them, because they show others up (especially other lazy @$$ed, so called Christians who think they've been saved but couldn't even tell you anything in the Bible outside of what we ALL know from Sunday school etc) Not hating other so called Christians, but the same, so called Christians really seem to hate JW's (probably because they make them others look bad and they other so called Christians don't like THEIR indoctrination tampered with and THEIR minds expanded?)

19:40 You do have to do something, as faith without works is dead. (James 2:26) You do have to repent and turn around, which is something. So John Harris is wrong here. While we try to do what is right, and we need to obey Jesus' commands, we still sin and fall short, and that is were we need Jesus' help, and forgiveness on the basis of Jesus' sacrifice. JW do not believe we "earn" salvation, but it is a free gift, yet it is not unconditional.

As Paul, Jesus and James would put it - our "works" don't save us, but we are asked to be obedient to do "works" such as grace, humility, honesty, forgiveness, modesty, fidelity, compassion, rejection of the world and so on. About a thousand of these works are mentioned in the New Testament.
Not to mention anyone who prioritizes what you say over what you do isn't a force for good, if you say more than you do for some on that's just being a sycophant. And if someone asks you to commit genocide or say's it's okay to own people as property maybe run for the hills.

Jesus gives clear instructions for everybody to follow, like to drink the wine and eat the bread. In a 1985 Watchtower, JW said that Jesus was not the mediator for everybody but just for the annointed. They were still trying to figure out who Jesus was. It's really sad.

I was brought up JW. This man dealt with this gentleman in such a graceful way. Give to you that he was not a full fledged JW he was studying with them. The hardcore JW are much much harder to touch their hearts.

Hello living waters eu, i want to start having one 2 one conversations as well but can never get people to sit with me. How do you guys get people to sit down for an interview?
Just a guess, but the back of their shirts ask the question " Are you a good person?" And they have a camera and interview station set up.
They could wait until someone comes up and comments on the shirt or they could ask passerbys the same question until they get a fish that bites.
Then they could ask if they can film them.
I think that is what happened because you hear the man refer to "being good" a few times as if it was part of the conversation before the interview.

What I usually do is hear if someone has a problem, I would ask them what's going on and start preaching the Gospel to them, giving them the Good News so they can see the light in the darkness. Other times I share my testimony with them and this one works really well because it catches their eye and want to hear more so you introduce Jesus in you testimony (obviously, he is the one who saved you after all) and let them hear hope for their lifes. You can search on how to evangelize, or ask you pastor or Simone spiritually mature, I'm sure they'll help you.
I think having a camera and mic helps attract people. Remember people love getting attention. There is another video by LWE where they have a big sign reading "Are you a good person?" And at the end John gives the person on the stand five pounds. From that I understand they set it up like a challenge, take the good person test and receive £5 if you pass it. I thought it was a brilliant idea to get people to hear the gospel.
Personally I dont do interviews like this, but I look at the people around me and try to take the opportunities I get to be alone with them. Could be neighbours, colleagues, friends, etc.

. Jehovah is not God's name. It's Yahweh. The four consonants that make up the Divine name are for a two syllable word. That is BASIC Hebrew. The way the name 'Jehovah' is used by its adherents reeks of fetishism or superstition.

The only thing that destroys families are all the different stories, out there, about God and His laws. There is a very real distinction about what Jesus taught and mankind's "wisdom". (Matt 10:32-36). Humans have a tendency to be very opinionated and self-assuming instead of trying to keep learning everyday. We have free-thinking wills because He doesn't want us to be robots, but He hopes that we will come to recognize that He loves us and that every commandment by Him is out of love for us and is not meant to be a burden or a restriction. But, just like children, there are always bad ones who don't want to follow the rules because they are seeking self gratification and not the good of others. Just like in the garden of Eden, Satan lied to Eve and told her that God was holding back something good from her and that "good" was "knowing good and bad for herself". (self-governance) However, God made humans out of love and knew exactly how to take care of them that would make them truly happy, but Satan said that humans could do it better, well...look what man has done to the planet, the animals and each other....have we done a good job in taking care of the planet and the animals, and in ruling ourselves??? are we taken care of in the best way possible??? Do we have peace and good health??? No, we don't! Satan lied to Eve. But Jehovah, God (to prove a point) is allowing humans to rule themselves for a while to see if we can do it but we can't, we need His help, and not the help of a self-serving angel who turned himself away from our loving, heavenly Father. Keep seeking the Kingdom and stop judging others because we humans can't presume to know the scope of God's forgiveness. But Jehovah, God does have work that needs to be done (Matt 24:14 "And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come".) that started with Jesus and the apostles and that's to tell others about the Kingdom until the end of this system comes, because this system is going away when the kingdom comes back (Daniel 2:44) and, anyone wanting to be under that Kingdom arrangement, needs to be on that NARROW path that Jesus spoke about. Not the path that is broad and spacious that everyone is following. Witnesses are not in opposition to anyone, but like Jesus and his apostles, we are continuing the work of trying to find sheep-like ones who RECOGNIZE Jesus "voice" and who recognize the true message (read John chap 10).There is a real distinction between this world and what God originally intended for mankind. Satan singled Eve out because she was vulnerable and he was successful in his "attack", just like a lion who roars in hopes of scaring a sheep away from the flock (1 Peter 5:6-9 " Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time, 7 while you throw all your anxiety on Him, because he cares for you. 8 Keep your senses, be watchful! I paused at 7:00 minutes to type this. This older guy is deceived, and he is the one who has deceived himself! It is painful watching this because I know, without ever physically meeting him, that he is in fact a sinner. I know this because we all are sinners. As these sorts of ministries conveniently gloss over or act as though James 2:19-26 doesn't even exist.
The churches confuse salvation by various "works" of the **law covenant** that the Judaizers in the early Christain congregation wrongly held to and insisted others do, that Paul spoke against in his epistles, such as in the first three chapters of Romans.
With the different "works" James is talking about that are "works" which befit repentance that all professing Christians are to preform in imitation of the fine conduct of Jesus Christ. As proof their faith in him is genuine.
Faith without works is dead means that, if you have repented from wrong doing there will be works (Activity of some sort?) That shows you have changed your attitude in respect to your belief in God and Christ.
Jehovah's Witnesses doing the preaching work is an example of this and is the height of what Christianity is supposed to be about.

The truth is JWs really remind those in the world what they should be doing. And thus we're naturally hated by it of course. Just as Christ said and as was done to him too. ... Matt. 24:9; Jn. 15;18, 19.
In these videos regarding sin, Ray Comfort also consistently fails to note the biblical distinction between the habitual "practice of sin", which those in the world who do not know God regularly do as described at 1 Jn. 3:4, 6. Where the Greek present form of the verb for sin occurs. And indicates a continuous or progressive action.
As opposed to "commit a sin" in isolation such as at 1 Jn. 2:1, where the aorist form of the verb is used. That indicates a punctiliar type of action and refers to an occasional random sin that a true Christian will still commit from time to time, as an imperfect human being.
But then again, Ray and others ignorance here is not really all their fault I guess ...
Since Christendom's Bible translators fail to bring out this distinction in many of their mainstream versions.
And merely render each form of the Greek verb "ἁμαρτάνω" as "sin" in both passages. ...

Just like I was listening to an evangelical Trinitarian apologist Craig Hawkins on a local religious radio station here a couple of days ago.
And while claiming to refute JWs and atheists with proof for the ("Trinitarian" of course) "Deity of Christ." He just made up an entirely bogus artificial rule supposedly of Greek where "In [the] beginning", "εν αρχηι", at the start of Jn. 1:1, really means "before the beginning."
Allegedly because the Greek "αρχηι", "beginning" has no definite article, and must be added by the translator.

Wow, what Greek grammar says anything like that?
Not only would "before" be the Greek preposition "απο" instead of "εν," or the term "πριν" or something. But when I checked the phrase "In the beginning" at Gen. 1:1 in the LXX, it read the same way, "εν αρχηι," with no definite article before αρχηι as well like Jn. 1:1.
So should Gen. 1:1 in the LXX therefore read ...
"Before the beginning God made the heavens and the earth???"
And natually the show hosts and callers to the show thanked Hawkins for this "great scholarly exegesis of the text."

The Bible says the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH and not eternal punishment ,to be eternally punished you would have to be conscious the Bible says That you NOT CONSCIOUS OF ANYTHING. Read Ecclesiastes 9:5, and Ecclesiastes 3:19-21 The Bible teaches that when you die you return to the Dust. What happened to the first man Adam when he eventually died Read Genesis 3:19.
19:40 You do have to do something, as faith without works is dead. (James 2:26) You do have to repent and turn around, which is something. So John Harris is wrong here. While we try to do what is right, and we need to obey Jesus' commands, we still sin and fall short, and that is were we need Jesus' help, and forgiveness on the basis of Jesus' sacrifice. JW do not believe we "earn" salvation, but it is a free gift, yet it is not unconditional.

As Paul, Jesus and James would put it - our "works" don't save us, but we are asked to be obedient
to do "works" such as grace, humility, honesty, forgiveness, modesty, fidelity, compassion, rejection
of the world and so on. About a thousand of these works are mentioned in the New Testament.
Not to mention anyone who prioritizes what you say over what you do isn't a force for good, if you say more than you do for some on that's just being a sycophant. And if someone asks you to commit genocide or say's it's okay to own people as property maybe run for the hills.
