This wasnt an 'interview', it was a clumsy attempt at conversion. It was also incredibly dishonest, and bearing false witness isn't absolved just because you think you're doing the right thing.
THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Matthew. 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there's good news. Though we broke God's Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John. 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Ephesians. 2:8,9).777
Not at all. It's an entirely dishonest way to preach these gospel. Bearing false witness isnt okay just because you think you're doing it for a good reason.
@@MichaelJohnson-kq7qg So, according to this standard, Jehovah Witnesses are dishonest, since they bear false witness. I can't agree with your reasoning, since I think they are only following what the Watchtower tells them. It's not their fault.
@@meusisto why are you saying JW bear false witness? I'm talking about deliberate acts- that's what bearing false witness is - like when this guy pretends he is just interviewing someone, but is actually lying to them, because he is trying to convert them. Read your scripture - being wrong isn't sin, doubting isn't sin - bearing false witness is.
@@MichaelJohnson-kq7qg I understand your point and partly agree. Jehovah Witnesses are simply wrong. The Watchtower deceives them though. I agree with this part. As for the interview, I don't understand why it can't be "can I interview you about your views and offer you a possibility of view of all this?"?
@@meusisto I'm not sure what your point is. The guy asks someone if they can interview them, and then uses leading questions to bring it to the point where he is preaching to him. Preaching is fine, but be honest about it. If you're witnessing requires false witness, you're a false witness.
Man, I LOVE the patience of this brother! He did a great job honestly listening through the flow chart. He didn't argue or debate unnecessarily, but was patient with some of the points of doctrinal disagreement, and considered what other gentleman was trying to communicate. But, then we get to 9:01, and it's hilarious! From the way this person is presenting, he's maybe got as much actual experience in outreach ministry as an average JW teenager... telling this man who likely has thousands of hours going door to door "I'm ready to give you some good news, and this is going to blow your mind..." In one glance, you get the whole "If this were ministry school, I'd have some constructive feedback on your approach." There's plenty that could be "argued" of course, but my brother was very humble and patient per 1 Peter 3:15. Well done. (Also, nice to see more JWs feeling more comfortable with beards).
This man is not a Jehovah’s Witness. Maybe he might have been brought up as one but he’s not practicing. He has a beard for one and he’s not quite sure of the Watchtower theology.
*@ **0:48** either he's not an active Jehovah's Witness or may have forgotten but I know Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe they have a soul. They believe they ARE a soul. In other words, they believe that scripture when it speaks of a "soul" it's speaking of the body itself. And this is correct sometimes like in Genesis 2:7. But scripture also speaks of an inner soul as Jesus describes in Matthew **10:28** and Paul in 1 Thessalonians **5:23**. It's astounding to see how Jehovah's Witnesses believe their leaders convoluted biblical interpretation about the soul when scriptures like these are so clear.*
Just to humbly correct you, yes we believe that the soul is the body that has breath of life in it, not some detached spiritual entity. When you die you have a body but become soulless or without the breath of life. Furthermore, In the context of those verses Jesus is speaking of the "soul" or the life after your death through the resurrection something man cannot do. It says to not fear man bc they cannot bring you back with the breath of life or "soul" but to fear the one who can do that because he or Jehovah has that authority. Like you said the scriptures make that clear. The Bible does not contradict itself.
(Genesis 2:7) your soul is your whole self you are a walking breathing Soul. God didn't put a soul into the body like a letter into a Envelope. (Ezikiel 18:4) The Soul who Sins Will (Die) The (Soul) is not immortal or survives after Death it Dies. King james bible.
Please research for this topic. The proliferation of this false teaching, the immortality of soul was uttered by the very mouth of Satan (through the snake) to Eve at the Garden of Eden. Gen 3:4 said "At this the serpent said to the woman: “You certainly will not die." Satan the devil doesn't have to come up with a lot of new things, he just keeps playing the same old record over and over again and people still believe it. And that is what Jesus taught in his Parable of the Wheat and Weeds. The proliferation of false teachings. Consider Acts 24:15 it says that "I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." Base on this verse, what will be the scenario during resurrection if the soul of the righteous are already in heaven and the soul of the unrighteous are already in hell! (If you can post your SCENARIO here) Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs are biblical and logical (not convoluted) and so clear. True Christians should defend true Bible teachings that's why 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 said that "For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. 5 For we are overturning reasoning and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ." False teaching proliferates because "among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through(2 Corinthians 4:4). We have to overturn "strongly entrenched things"; the belief of Hell, immortality of the soul, trinity and many lies and deceit that "god of this system of things has blinded the minds" of the people.

Where does it say in the Bible that right after death - the soul ends up in heaven?! After all - death was the punishment for man transgressing the law of God!
Thanks Jehovah God for the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) NOT eternal life in hell being tormented! God is not unjust and cruel to torture all those who don't accept Jesus Christ. The encouraging truth of the Bible is that God is indeed a God of great mercy, wisdom and righteous judgment. As Psalms 19:9 assures us, “The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.” Deuteronomy 32:4, 5 The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness who is never unjust; Righteous and upright is he. “For a certainty, God does not act wickedly.”-Job 34:12. Besides, why would granny go to heaven? Heaven is coming here! See revelation.
This man seems to contradict himself, every time he answers a new question. First he believes in nothing, then he believes the soul comes back, then bad people don't get punished, then Hitler is brought up, so he says he believes in Jesus Christ, the crucifixion, and that God will judge him. Poor guy is so confused. The good news is that the more he talks, the closer he gets to the Truth. I believe strongly that all of our souls are connected, through God, and that we can transfer our love, thoughts, and intentions (good or bad) through our consciousness. He is receiving the Gospel before John even mentions it. The power of God is so strong, we can't even comprehend it. We can see that power working in him, in real time. This was truly a divine encounter! Praise God for bringing this man to hear the Gospel! I pray that He truly chooses God, and puts all of his trust in the one and only Savior! Hallelujah, and AMEN!

I live in Leicester and have lived there for 17 years. The interview took place on Humberstone Gate. JW's have a regular stand about a few paces from where the interview was conducted. Therefore, a public display stand would have been the natural place to conduct an interview. I also have been a JW for 27 years. His explanation of the soul demonstrates that he isn't baptized or is studying with JW. A JW will not explain a soul as 'part of God'. Also, a JW will not use the 10 commandments as their standards. Finally, JW dont generally agree to interviews as one is unsure how the information will be used. Also, the local branch has a publicity department which are happy to consider interviews. So, kindly amend the title as it seems to be a misrepresentation. The possibility of Darren being a JW is very far and removed.
A great conversation which you kept going in love. Repentance is really a 180 degree turn from sin,the world to Jesus mercy. . It not of of ourselves but the finished works of Jesus. When we realize that we need a savior we all have to do business with Jesus by calling o Jesus directly and Jesus snatches us from the kingdom of darkness to Jesus kingdom of love and light. Baptism always followed immediately after believing and is always full immersion and being filled with the Holy Spirit immediately. We spend the rest of our lives renewing our minds by God’s word as we become living stones of the spiritual temple Call on Jesus right now and there’s no use calling on Michael as he is only an Angel and won’t be able to hear you. Jesus is omnipresent as where two or more come together in Jesus name Jesus is there present Mt 18:20

This comment is from the love of my heart for the honest seekers of the ‘ Truth ‘ ! There is no need to ramble on , drowning in ignorance of Gods word - The Bible . Firstly , Jesus warned us of future False prophets or evangelisers ! I must say , having great respect for Ray Comfort & the ‘ Living Waters Ministry ‘ particularily their sensitive , but urgent approach in teaching the Gospel , I now need to draw a line under ! . Unfortunately their doctrine is sadly flawed by many false teachings . ‘ woe ‘ to anyone who falsely takes it upon himself to obscure the true gospel message of ‘ Gods ‘ word . This particular interview for some reason has been intentionally named & highlighted as an interview with a practising Jehovah’s Witness . I am saddened & disappionted that any ministry upholding Gods values , seeks to evangelise on the one hand , but falsely if not intentionally to discredit a particular religious denomination such as the Witnesses . There are so many false teachings I would like to point out . But this would take up considerable space . Remarkably Two significant & profound things occurred when John the Baptist , baptised Jesus . ( 1 ) Luke 3 vs 22 - God’s Holy Spirit descended from heaven in the form of Dove & spoke ! ( an affirmation ) . ‘ This is my Son , the beloved one , whom I have approved . ( 2 ) Luke 4 - Far more significantly , whilst God’s son ( Jesus - now 30 years old ) was in prayer to his Father , being led by holy spirit in the wilderness ( for 40 days ) . The Devil ( Satan - the fallen angel ) began to try and tempt Jesus , ultimately offering authority over all the kingdoms of the Earth & its inhabitants . The Lesson here cannot be disputed ! ! ! Jesus is God’s literal son How can a fallen angel have authority over the Creator ‘ God ‘ ( Jehovah ) , so as to be able to offer God himself , any of the kingdoms he has created ? What obvious nonesence . How can the Devil tempt God So Jesus must be Gods literal son ! ( miraculously transformed from his original spirit existence at the beginning of creation ) by his father to a human existence thru Mary ‘s conception . This is endorsed by the Ressurection hope of everyone who puts their faith in the recognition of Jesus and the ransom sacrifice for all mankind’s sins . God ( Jehovah ) cannot die . He is eternal & everlasting . How could he sacrifice himself as the Creator of All things . It would not be a sacrifice ! Unless Jesus was his literal Son . Amen
Sorry to disappoint all those Trinitarians . But simply ask yourself , if Jesus is God then exactly who was he praying to on many occasions throughout his ministry , particularily In the wilderness and in the garden of Gersenemy . On all these occasions he is earnestly & passionately talking to his Father as a son . Please do not insult our creator ‘ Jehovah ‘ & our loving father . After all , we are meant to reason the Scriptures . Why would any of Gods words be ambiguous . May God bless all those seeking his righteousness & future Earthly kingdom .
It is important to understand what the meaning of baptism is. Baptism means to be immersed. In Matthew 3:11 John says: "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire” another was of saying this is that Jesus will immerse you with the Holy Spirit. I can go on and on about this but I encourage you to dig in on what the Bible is truly teaching about baptism. At one point Paul puts his hands on people and they are given the Holy Spirit. You can always go back to the thief on the cross and see he was not immersed in water but was saved.
Ryan Hollingsworth yes, and he never said baptism for the remission of sins would stop. Acts 2:38 ESV - And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 3:21 KJV - The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
You reciev the Spirit of God when your repent and put your trust in the gospel Ephesians 1:13. Not at baptism keep in mind acts 2 Is to the nation of Israel read a few verses before 38 v 22¶Ye men of Israel, hear these words Then we read 36¶Therefore let all the house of Israel know assured
I was talking to a top JW speaker from Tennessee. I showed him Revelation 14:10 and he immediately denied what it said (in his own NWT!) When I pointed out that I was saying 'IT IS WRITTEN,' whilst he was saying, 'HATH GOD SAID,' and furthermore pointed out who said, 'IT IS WRITTEN,' (JESUS) and who said, 'HATH GOD SAID,' (satan). he declared, "Your too good for me!" And promptly packed up shop and legged it. This was a JW top man and he lasted about 5 minutes.
For what it's worth, the Revelation prophecy is highly symbolic, presented in signs as the very first vs. of Rev mentions. If you took this vs. literally, what "wild beast and it's image" are they guilty of worshipping? The wild beast symbolizes something. What is the wine of God's anger that they will be drinking? It symbolizes something it's not literal. As for the existence of a literal hell : Revelation 14:9-11 speaks of some who are “tormented with fire and sulphur . . . And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever.”* Does this prove eternal conscious torment in hellfire? Actually, all this passage says is that the wicked are tormented, not that they are tormented forever. The text states that it is the smoke-the evidence that the fire has done its work of destruction-that continues forever, not the fiery torment. Think of it , a person leads a sinful life of 70 or 80 years on earth, then dies, would God torture him for eternity for that , it is very illogical. Please read Psalm 146:3,4 and Eccl. 9:5,10. Is that not more logical, we just cease to exist.
@@briah9120 10 he will also drink of the wine of the anger of God that is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and day and night they have no rest, those who worship the wild beast and its image and whoever receives the mark of its name. What is the relationship between watchtower(jehovah witness) and johannes greber?? 1.who is johannes greber? 2.he : - wrote a book "communication with the spirit world of god" - translated "the new testament" 3.what did watchtower say about him?? 4.google : Type: avoidjw.org>w1956 Will appear: The watchtower 1956 magazine Clik:february 15 Download 5.the following appears (we only present the vital quotes ) 6. Begin the quotes: Page 110(paragraph 10) 10 Says Johannes Greber in the introduction of his translation of The New Testament, copyrighted in 1937: “I myself was a Catholic priest, and until I was forty- eight years old had never as much as believed in the possibility of communicating with the world of God’s spirits. The day came , however, when I involuntarily took my first step toward such communication, and experienced things that shook me to the depths of my soul.. . . My experiences are related in a book that has appeared in both German and English and bears the title, Communication with the Spirit- World: Its Laws and Its Purpose.” (Page 15) .....in the Foreword of his afore- mentioned book ex-priest Greber says: “The most significant spiritualistic book is the Bible.” Under this impression Greber endeavors to make his New Testament translation read very spiritualistic. Page 111(paragraph 11) 11 Spiritualism claims that there are good spirits and bad spirits and that it does not want to have anything to do with the bad spirits but tries to communicate only with the good spirits....etc Page 111(paragraph 11,the final sentence) Very plainly the spirits in which ex-priest Greber believes helped him in his translation. Page 111(paragraph 12) “TRY THE SPIRITS” 12 However, when the apostle John says, “Try the spirits,” or, “Test the spirits,” he does not mean for us to dabble in spiritualism and get in touch with the spirits by means of spirit mediums, ouija boards or planchettes or other spiritistic para phernalia and try out which is a good spirit and which is a bad one.... Page 112(paragraph 16) 16 The evidence is clear that the spirits with whom this leading spiritualist communicates are against the Bible and its Author Jehovah God and his Son Jesus Christ. Why so? Because the Bible and Jehovah and Jesus Christ are against those spirits Page 114(paragraph 23) INSANITY THROUGH OBSESSION 23 The purpose of the demons through spiritualism is not merely to destroy your faith in God’s Word the Bible but, more than that, to gain possession of your mind and body, to control you completely, thus leading you to insanity. New world translation(watchtower,1950) In the beginning the Word was,the Word was with God,and the Word was a god 12.no wonder, watchtower likes johannes greber's translation 13.in addition to Johannes greber's, wachtower loves translation of emphatic diaglott (benjamin wilson,1864) 14.john 1:1, below " kai Theos " of the interlinear of emphatic diaglott, benjamin translate : and a god 15.however the same words " kai Theos" in 2 corinthians 1:3 below the " kai Theos" he translate: and God 16.who is benjamin w? - a liar? - christadelphian( does not believe Jesus is God) 17.that is the reason, he translates "a god" when refer to Jesus in John 1:1 18.for sure ,Jesus is not merely the name of God (mark 9:38-39,John 10:25,5:43,1john 5:20,rev 19:13), but also is the name of a man /human: - visible(0-33 ad) - mediator - prayed -died -resurrected 19.One God,one mediator (1timothy 2:5) 20.God (invisible) dwells in the Son(visible) (John 14:10)

Jesus is Gods Son that's it Not (God Almighty the Creator) Let's take a Look at the Bible and see what it Says 1. Then why is God head of Christ just as Christ is Head of man? (1st coriethians 11:3) 2.) Then why does Scripture consistently phrase Jesus as a Separate person from God? (John 20:17); (John 14:1); (Mark 10:18); (John 17:1-3), Also in Heaven, (Luke 22:69) 3.) Then how can Jesus have a god? (Micah 5:4), (pslams 45:6, 7; 89:26, John 20:17; (Romans 15:6;2), (Coriethians 1:3, Eph. 1:3; (Col. 1:3) (Mark 15:34); (John 17:1-3) Also in heaven (Rev. 1:6; 3:3, 12) 4. Then why does Scripture say he was born and part of creation? (Colessians 1:15) 5. Then why does (Rev. 3:14) Say that Jesus was the beginning of the Creation by God? 6. Then why is he subject to god like we are subject to him? (1st Cor. 15:27,28); (Eph. 1:17) 7. Then why does (Micah 5:2) say that Jesus Origin was from Early times? 8. Then why does Jesus not know what God knows? (Matthew 24:36,) (Rev. 1:1); (Luke 8:45) 9. Then why is Jesus still subject to (God) when he is as high as he will ever be? (1st Cor. 15:27,28) 10. Then why does (Proverbs 8:22-31) show that the Messiah was created/Produced by God? 11. Then why is he not powerful enough to subject things to himself? (1st Cor. 15:27); (Eph. 1:17,22) 12. Then why would he have to be given any power & authority? (Matthew 28:18; 11:27; (John 5:22; 17:2; 3:35;) (2nd 1:17) 13. Then why did he have to learn anything? (Hebrews 5:8), (John 5:19; 8:28) 14. Then why is speaking against him not as bad as speaking against the Holy Spirit? (Matthew 12:31, 32;); (Luke 12:10) 15. Then why did Jesus Call the Father the Only True God? (John 17:3) 16. Then why did he need to be saved? (Hebrews 5:7); (John 12:27) 17. Then why did he have to be exalted to leader & savior? (Acts 5:31) 18. Then how can he be exalted and (Given) a higher name then he had? (Philippians 2:9-11); (Hebrews 1:2-4) 19. Then why did he have to be given Life in himself? (John 5:25, 26) 20. Then how could his Father be Greater then he and not equal trinity? (John 14:28) 21. Then how could Jesus be tempted by Satan in(Matthew 4:10) when God cannot be tempted by Evil (James 1:13) 22. Then why did Jesus (Worship) the Father (John 4:22) 23. Then why can he not do anything of his own? (John 5:19; 6:38) 24. Then why would Jesus pray to Anybody? (Luke 22:44; ) (John 17:1,2) 25. Then why do John 1:18 and 1st John 4:9 say that Jesus is God's only Begotten Son? 26. Then how can Jesus be God's servant? (Acts 4:26, 27,30) 27. Then how could he receive strength from an angel? (Luke 22:43) 28. Then how could he be the mediator between God & man? (1st Timothy 2:5) 29. Then how could he be with God (ton theon)? (John 1:1) 30. Then how could he be God's image? (Col. 1:15;) (Hebrews 1:3) Then why is he called the agency (dia) of creation and not the originator (ek)? (1cor. 8:6); (John 1:1-3); (Prov. 8:30) (Hebrews 2:10); (Col. 1:15, 16) 32. Then why did Jesus say God was good in a way that Jesus was not?(Mark 10:18) 33. Then why does Jesus have the voice of the Archangel and not the voice of God? (1st thess. 4:16) 34. Then why is the only worship given to him the same given to humans ? (Heb. 1:6) (Matt. 18:26;); (Rev. 3:9) 35. Then why do many who believe and rely on a few so called proof texts instead of the context of the consisent teachings of the entire Bible? 36.then how can Jesus be commanded to do anything? (John 12:49), (deutronemy 18:18) 37. Then why did Steven see 2 separate entities God & Jesus and not just one god or 3 person's? (Acts 7:55) 38. Then how could Jesus be seen at God's right hand?(Luke 22:69); (Acts 7;55); (Romans 8:34) 39. Then how could Jesus be exalted not to become God himself, but to the position of the right hand of God?(,Acts 2:33) 40. Then why would he have to receive a revelation from God?(rev. 1:1) 41. Then why is he called God's begotten Son before he came to Earth? (John 3:16); (Galations 4:4), (1st John 4:9) 42. Then how could he have a father (John 20:17) 43. Then how could he come in Flesh? (1st Kings 8:27); (Acts 17:24, 25) 44. Then why did Jesus not come in his own Name? (John 5:41-44) 45. Then why did Jesus come down from Heaven to do God's will and Not His Own? (Luke 22:42); (John 6:38) (John 5:30) (John 8:42) 46. Then how could Jesus appear before God when he went back to (Heaven)? (Hebrews 9:24) 47. Then how could Jesus die? Can God die? Can part of God die? (Romans 5:10); (Acts 5:30); (Habbuk 1:12); ,(1st time. 6:16); (Numbers 23:19) (1st Cor. 15:3); (Plsams 90:2); (Daniel 6:25-26) 48. Then why is it that God ressurrected Jesus? (Acts 2:32) (Acts 5:30) (Romans 10:9,10) 49. Then why can we see him if No Man has seen God at any time? (John 1:18) 50. Then why is there not one clear scripture where Jesus is called God the Son, (Equal to those declaring God the Father) 51. How is it that the Jews rounded up some false witnesses to make up lies to obtain a death sentence for Jesus, but niether the Jewish officials nor even one of those false witnesses made a claim that Jesus was God or Equally god? (Matthew 26:59-67) 52. John summed up his whole Gospel by saying that it was written that we may believe that Jesus is Christ, the son of God. Why is there no mention in that summary of the entire Gospel of what would be the Most important thing of all that Jesus is God? (John 20:31)

@@tiffanywright6653 There is one thing you have missed which totally mis characterizes the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said if you have seen Him you have seen the Father. Apart from Jesus Christ you have no part in the Father. *** MATTHEW 28 18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. *** Not only did the Father give all power to Jesus Christ, He Himself says observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. This seems curious as you would have to conced that if the Father has given Him ALL as in ALL power in heaven and earth.....then please explain who it is that could hold such power. Another insight into who Jesus is: *** LUKE 9 34While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. 35And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. *** You see Lenell, the Father Himself has told you and me to HEAR HIM (Jesus Christ). Not one knows the Father but by Jesus Christ! So for anyone to bypass the Son Jesus Christ (God Himself via His Son) you are in rebellion seeking the Father ...ON YOUR OWN TERMS which will leave you without the precious blood of Jesus Christ to cover your sins. In other words you are doomed because of the rejection of the only way by which you may be saved....Namely God Himself through Jesus Christ (yes, His son). You go to the Father in vain if you think you can bypass His Son Jesus Christ and forego what He told His own disciples. Here is the conclusion of the matter: *** JOHN 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? ***

Neither of which are The Way, The Truth and the Life! Johovah's Witnesses believe that THEY are going to be the 144,000 stamped by God. Oh..they WILL BE here, that's a fact..but, it CLEARLY says in scripture that these will be the 12 tribes of Israel..12,000 x 12,000 = 144,000 There aren't, have never and never will be 144,000 "marked Jehovah's Witnesses! It isn't scripture and is NOT correct. It may be THEIR doctrine but remember "doctrines of devil's". This is a false religion and a cult. If you are a "witness", come out of this NOW!! There is only one way to the Father! Read your KJV and not that book 'they give you'! I mean you no harm. Like him, I am trying to show you where the truth is! Please! People.. abandon this cult. And, for God's sake, don't convert to Mormonism or Scientology. I understand that all of these want to serve God.. including Catholicism, which is the worst one of all! There is no 'Vicar of Christ', no purgatory and no other man has the power to 'forgive sins'. It's insulting, also for a priest or the poop to think he can COMMAND the Lord to magically come down from Heaven and turn into a piece of bread! This is ALL blasphemy! When we have this same ceremony in a Protestant church, it is symbolic. "Do this in remembrance of Me" My pastor does not claim that this IS the body of Christ or His blood. Catholics do make this claim and, as for being a "Vicar", that means Christ on Earth! He is, but He lives in the 'temple' - you! "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" Whenever I see the poop on t.v., I think 'False Prophet'. Why? Many reasons. The first and most important is the fact that, this poop is trying to unite all world religions under the guise of 'Peace and Safety's - two VERY dangerous words. "For when they shall say 'peace and safety, sudden destruction shall come upon them. Then, there's the schooling Jesuits are REQUIRED to complete. "Professing themselves to become wiser, they became fools." I could go on and on as to why ALL of these are dangerous. I also find it strangely suspicious that the Catholic Church is the only one that Exorcisms seem to have an effect on a demon. There'ore going on here than you realize. If people are convinced that the Catholic Church is the only place to be able to exorcise demons, that's because it causes MANY others to convert to that religion. It's not just one soul involved here. There's an agenda. They hate people like me that expose this hidden agenda. If you already see this, then, you are already ahead of the game! "It is appointed unto men once to die, then the judgement." If you do not have Christ as your attorney, then that's like going to court with out a lawyer..and, there is NO better lawyer than the Lord Jesus! I had a dream (?) a few years back. I was in a desert location, possibly Israel itself, and I was leaning against the door of an old rundown shack. I heard, in the distance, a woman's voice yelling: He's coming! Jesus is coming!" Much to my surprise,He was first in line! He wasn't what I expected though. He had shorter hair than the traditional paintings..about shoulder length. He walked up to me but didn't say a word. He simply smiled and walked past me as He entered my humble little home. There was an overwhelming feeling of mercy, compassion..and a love I'd had NEVER felt before! It was so overpowering that I woke up in tears! I spent the rest of the night trying to get back to Him. I KNEW I was in God's presence. When you are, you KNOW it! It was as real as the day is long! Only once has this ever happened. I believe it was Him telling me not to worry. He was not going to forsake me. He can not lie. He's God! This is NOT some fabricated story either! It really happened. Now, everyday, I pray that this will be the day that I get to be with Him again. If this vision would have continued, I would have been able to sup with Him..and,He would have with me. I keep thinking about what He said: "If I knock and any man opens the door, I will come in.." That person was ME and I still cry whenever I think about that night. But, now I know He is always with me and He knows me! After all, He had my name in His blood, wriiten on Him on the cross! Christianity has been called 'the thinking man's religion'. So complex, yet simple enough for a child to understand. Why, then, are people so closed minded?.Geez, Man. You can't give your creator a few minutes to speak His case?! If you let Him, He will! Be still and know that I am your God!" Thousands of people have had such experiences yet are labeled as 'fanatics'. Well, if I'm a 'fanatic', I'm proud to be one. I know who came to me that night! This was NO dream. No dream has ever caused me such conviction. I knew He was telling me to 'straighen up, idiot! I'll be here soon and I have plans for you to spread my good news. I am NOT condemning anyone here. I'm warning you because He wants me to! Now's the time to choose. Time is VERY short. I know that because this was 2 years ago already. Look where we are now! Oh..and,one other thing: this guy is speaking 'reincarnation' and 'works'. We can NOT work our way into God's kingdom! Repentance is a way of thanking Him for what He has done. It is NOT a licence to sin! Remember this important fact!

While I would object to your use of Christendom's self-serving distinction of "Christain" nor "Jehovah's Witness." When in fairness it should be appropriately labeled as ... "He is neither a Trinitarian nor a Jehovah's Witness." And let the question of which one is truly "Christain" to be determined elsewhere. But anyway, I wholeheartedly agree that this individual is not a JW. Therefore discrediting everything Comfort's LWM says in refutation of his views a fallacious "strawman" argument.
@@H.T.2forever JWs deny that Jesus is an eternal uncreated divine person of God and that this divine person died for our sins. This is the foundation of the Gospels it's what the Apostles and early church fathers died for preaching. If one denies these key points, then they are no more christian than muslims. If one denies Christ's own words or if they are forced to call them corrupt, then they agree with Jesus' enemies and not the Apostles, His enemies called Him a blasphemer and had Him killed for His claims of Divinity and equality with His Father who is God, therefore if one finds themselves in agreement with Jesus' enemies, then they can hardly be considered Christian, which by definition is a follower and believer in Christ and everything He said and did.

NOT God himself who is only the Father (Jn. 17:3), and which no man has ever seen (Jn. 1:18; 1 Jn 4:12). > I totally agree with this! And is exactly what Trinitarian apologists do! As they'll accept the various charges and accusations of Jesus's enemies as accurate and truthful that they feel will help support the "Deity of Christ" as taught by Trinitarianism. But then conveniently reject all their other claims as false of Christ being a "sabbath-breaker", a "sinner", "blasphemer", "having a demon", ect. But this is totally inconsistent cherry-picking and a double-standard. For if you're going to accept the views of Christ's adversaries as an accurate indicator of what Jesus claims about himself in some places, then by what right do you not accept them in all? And if they can be wrong in their other accusations against Christ. Then they can be just as wrong at the places Trinitarians want to accept of them accurate. Sorry, but you really can't have it both ways ...
@@H.T.2foreverwell then, you need to go and read the scriptures again and maybe this time take every verse in the context it's given, because it can be found throughout the Scriptures it's impossible to misunderstand if read in context. The Son Jesus is indeed a divine person of God, and this doesn't mean that there is another god bedside the Father or two separate Beings. It means the nature and Being of God, exists in the divine persons of both the Father and the Son, who are but ONE God.. they reveal the same divine nature, not two distinct or conflicting natures. To suggest that this wasn't mentioned in the scriptures or that it wasn't mentioned before the 4th Century is intellectually dishonest .. Besides the scriptures which I will get to later, there are an abundance of letters written by the early church fathers and early christian writers, which confirm Christ's Deity and the Trinity. These letters date well before any council ever formed, these early christian writer's letters were written in response to these heretical views you hold, rebuking and correcting them, many of these men were students of the Apostles themselves!! One such writer was Ignatius ( 35AD -107AD) nearly 260 years before the councils ever came together!! Others were Theophilus, Bishop of Antioch he lived around 165 years before the councils, He who wrote about the Trinity, which is simply a word used to explain the concept of how God exists and how His Being is revealed throughout the Bible.. So how dare you state that the church fathers died in vein!! They knew the Apostles personally!! they were taught by them and you claim that they were wrong? That you know better, how arrogant are you!!.. you don't know more about the Apostles and Jesus Himself, than those men and their letters confirm, that God is, Father Son and Holy Spirit and that Jesus is the divine Son. Now to get to the scriptures themselves....they teach that Jesus is the eternal uncreated divine Son, verses like (John 1:1) and ( Mark 2:28) confirm this. And in ( Romans 9: 5), (Colossians 1:16-17 and 2:9) and (Philippians 2 : 5-8 ) it speaks about Jesus existing before heaven and before earth, before the visible and invisible. So, how can a created being exist before heaven and earth? before space and time?? Only the Being of God can exist in such a way and not a created being!! Since Jesus existed before time and space, it makes Him God.., in the incarnation Jesus took an additional nature, that of a human being alongside His divine nature, so the eternal divine person of the Son, existed with two natures but there was never a time, when the Son's divine nature didn't exist... only a time when His human nature didn't exist before the incarnation, it's His divine nature that is identical to His Father's nature. When Trinitarians use the term Being, it's in reference to God's nature and essence, the manner in which God exists, as such the Father, Son and Holy Spirit share the same Being having the same nature and essence. When Jesus said, I only do what my Father does in (John 5:19) think about what He is saying here... He only does what God does!! Now what mere human can claim to do, only do what God does?? We humans do many things that God doesn't do, sin being the most obvious, not even the Angels can claim such a thing!!....it's because of these claims of divinity, He was charged with blasphemy and killed.
@@mykingofkings1439 wrote: Same problem though ... Where does scripture describe God as multiple "Persons of" or "within" the "one God" that way? And where do the early church Fathers really teach it prior to Nicea? > No, the opposite is true since there is no mention anywhere in scripture about "Persons of/within" the same God, separation of "Person" from "Being." Or anything about God's "essences", "natures", "substances", etc. All of that is unscriptural Greek philosophy developed centuries after Christ and the apostles mainly from around the 4th century. And must be read back into the text of scripture by Trinitarians ever since using extreme eisegesis. Good, start with them then ... Show me examples where any of them taught what I just pointed out? > Yes, and I'll repeat it again .... If the Church Fathers suffered and died teaching Trinitarianism, then they did die for nothing because tthey were teaching false and really blasphemous doctrine about God irrespective who they may have personally known. And any perceived personal arrogance from me has nothing to do with it. But I find no evidence of Trinitarian theology in the writings of the ANF to begin with anyway. Until much later approaching the 4th century when unscriptural philosophy really begins to infuse their works. And I welcome you to prove the earliest Fathers like Ignatius, whom Trinitarians seemingly love to quote all the time, did this as well. > And none of those passages you reference really teach anything consistent with Trinitarianism. Even if they are interpreted to say that Jesus is God, to be commensurate with Trinitarianism those passages would have to say that Christ is not God, but a "Person of God." Since if Jesus were really "God," then it would make him the entire Trinity. And like most such Trinity "prooftexts", when all grammatical, contextual, and text critical considerations are honestly bought to bear on those verses. They actually teach the opposite of what Trinitarians claim about them. That Jesus is not God, but the Father is with Christ his Son as a powerful though inferior divine being alongside him when in heaven. > Before the physical heavens and earth, yes created beings can exist as did all angels. But before the spirit realm of heaven where God and the angels exist? No, what scripture says Christ existed before that? > But what scripture specifically says Jesus was "before time and space?" Another unsubstantiated philosophical assertion. > But again, like most Trinitarians you are only making philosophical assumptions about that which you have yet to prove. Therefore your reasoning is fallacious and circular. For where do the Bible writers ever say Jesus is "before time and space" instead of as the first one born into it? (Col. 1:15; Rev. 3:14). Or that he "took on an additional nature of flesh" instead of actually **becoming it** as Jn. 1:14 says? > I'm well aware of what Trinitarians are trying to claim about God's "Being." But where does scripture actually say it is the problem? For instance, where does scripture describe God's "Being" as an "essence" or "nature?" And "shared in by three Persons?" Or alters the grammar of the second Greek "θεος" at Jn. 1:1 from a count noun into a qualitative mass noun, etc.? It doesn't! As the Trinity is based post-biblical Nicean-Chalcedon theology from the 4th century read back into scripture as I said. > Yes, Christ is in full unity and accordance with what his Father does in purpose, motive, and goal. Just as true Christians should be in such a unison in imitation of Jesus Christ. > And again, just more baseless assumptions by you and other Trinitarians that are not corroborated in scripture. Since scripture does not teach thst Jesus was a "mere man", but a perfect sinless one while on earth (1 Pe 2:19-24). Nor does Jn. 5:19 apply to Christ only when he was a man on earth, but certainly in heaven as a glorious divine being as well. And where does the Bible deny that angels are incapable of imitating the Father this way as his divine messengers and representatives? Once more , you merely assume that which you have not actually proven. And then dogmatically assert it as though scripture actually teaches it when it really does no such of a thing.

Reference is made to God's eternal law, the Ten Commandments. I agree with that, however if we are to keep the Ten Commandments why are so many believers ignoring the Fourth Commandment?
Because they don't obey any of it. They lie to themselves. What is the one sign between God and his people? Keeping the Sabbath. Well that's got to go right? He will render to each one according to his WORKS: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not OBEY the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. 2 Corinthians 5:10: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds (WORKS) in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 1 Corinthians 4:5: Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from God. 1 Peter 1:17: If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s WORK, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; Revelation 20:12: And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their WORKS. Shall I go on? I was sure to use verses by Paul because I know how you Christians always want to deny the words of the Father and of Messiah by twisting the words of Paul to fit your paradigm. The first thing we are judged on are our works. The works of Abraham is why righteousness was found in him. What is faith without works? Ever read James? Faith is walking in fidelity with the Father. How do you walk in fidelity (faith) if you do not keep his commandments? Faith is demonstrated by your works. Your Works are the fruit of your faith. And where is it written that we only obey the commandments we are “convicted” of? Is this how this works? We pick and choose what we want to obey? Is this how the covenant is structured? You should think about that. If one had Faith, they would be obedient to all of God’s commandments. So, if God judges on Faith alone, you still have a big problem with not having obeyed the commandment. "For without faith, it is impossible to please God." I agree. Do you? Where is the Faith without obedience? Where is the Faith without works? Faith without works is dead. Works without Faith is of no meaning to the Father. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. But you’re a Christian and you say and you just have to believe in Jesus right to go to Heaven? 1 John 2: 3-6 And by this we know that we have come to know him, IF we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. So, if we are to walk as the Messiah walked out his life, did he keep the Sabbath? Did he obey the commandments? If yes, then why aren’t you? Who told you that you did not have to? Do you think this is supported by scripture? Even the Catholics who abolished the keeping of the Sabbath, admits that Sunday worship is not the Sabbath and nor is their any biblical support for the abolishment of it. God sanctified it on the 7th day. It was the first of the Holy Days that God commanded his people to keep. But you think man can do away with it so long as they are not “Convicted”? Uh…. OK. You said: “but the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ covers all these sins” First maybe you should ask yourself this question; What is Sin? You probably were never taught in your church what Sin is and as defined by scripture. Sin is the breaking of God’s Law. 1 John 3: 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And cont verse 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. But if you say the Law of God is of no consequence because we have “Grace” then what need of a savior do we have? If there is no law, then there is no sin. If there is no sin, then what need is there for a savior? Further, you only receive Grace and Mercy when you keep his commandments. Psalms 103: 7-18 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; TO SUCH AS keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to DO them. Uh Newsflash... When you "DO" something... that's called a WORK. If you do not OBEY you do not receive eternal life. John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. “But we have GRACE!” You say. Hebrews 10: 26-31 For IF we sin wilfully AFTER that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Matthew 7: 22-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Messiah said that BTW. So yeah… Might be important to keep the Sabbath as well as walking in obedience to the other commandments in order receive eternal life and enter the kingdom of Heaven.
@Tim Webb When did I ever denounce the importance of Faith? Did you read what I wrote at all? And how does your response here uphold your first response where you made claims that one only has to obey if convicted and making the claim that all one has to have is Faith to please God, without rendering the full understanding of it and leaving it wanton? You just quoted Solomon on the whole duty of man and the requirement to Fear God and Keep his commandments. ???? Was it an emotional or spiritual even that took place when the plagues hit Egypt? Or was it the works of God that made the people fear? Even the Messiah says that if you do no believe in his words believe in the works for they are from the Father. Maybe try reading what I wrote. Faith, Trust, Belief, Works etc all work together. Faith is the fruit of our works. Walking in covenant produces Faith, Works, Trust etc. Works without Faith is meaningless. Faith without works is also meaningless. That being the case, you cannot discount the importance of Works. Do works get you into the Kingdom? YES.... and NO.... Performing works as a checklist will not get you anywhere. Plus, this is not how God's instructions were giving in the first place. When the man claimed to Messiah that he "Kept" the commandments and all of them since his youth and asked what else he must do, the Messiah responded with very striking smartellic answer. "Fine then sell everything and follow me." In this way, NO you cannot buy or WORK your way into the Kingdom. But works done as a part of you and fruit of your Faith is what the Father requires. His first requirement is not to have Faith. His first requirement is to incline your ear and obey his voice followed by having a circumcised heart in order to receive it. Then you grow in your Faith as Paul writes. The greatest or 1st commandment of God is Hear and DO. The Messiah made this very clear.
Dolora, they believe in their 'translation' of the Bible, the New World 'Translation', a PERversion of God's true Word. They change many verses to fit their henotheistic, blasphemy of a theology. One that denies the core tenets of Christianity such as the Trinity, the supreme Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, that the Holy Spirit is not a Person of God but 'God's active force' (even though the Bible says that the Holy Spirit speaks, commands, is grieved - a force cannot do or feel such things! They are a cult who only listen to the Watchtower & filter everything through them - they only believe what the Watchtower teaches (which has changed over the decades & is totally contrary to the true teachings of the Scriptures!)
websurferdude Correct. They, ironically, fail to understand that Christ never changes! Nor does His word and teachings. Truly timeless- not matching the ways of their doctrines
websurferdude: Are you aware that they had their key beliefs in place BEFORE they had their NWT? Their beliefs -even if you don't agree with them - were based on the Bibles then available. Neither Jesus nor his Apostles, who were all Jews, believed in your "core tenets of Christianity" that according to most theologians, only appeared after apostolic times.
John: What is the point of your comment? You quote a scripture out of context. Earlier in verse 17, Jesus had said that he was ascending to his God. Indeed, look at the big finish, in verse 31 : But these things are written......that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.."If ever there was a time to spell it out, this was it. But the Evangelist agrees with the other gospel writers that the point was that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God.Scholars are divided over verse 28. Some see it as an exclamation of astonishment spoken to Jesus but actually directed to his God his Father. The verse certainly does not prove a Trinity as only two are mentioned, not three.
@@ewankerr3011 it's difficult to get the proper context out of the New World Translation. Because it's been changed in so many places, to fit JW doctrine. (Scholarly consensus, not my opinion) For example, they change the phrase "worship" to "obiesence" when referring to Jesus. This is almost trivial compared to their more blatant changes to the text. I would love you to explain your doctrine from a well translated bible.
How do you count the number of Jehovah’s Witnesses? We count as Jehovah’s Witnesses only those who are actively preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom each month. (Matthew 24:14) This includes those who have been baptized as Witnesses as well as those who, though not yet baptized, qualify to share in the preaching work. Does a person have to donate money to be counted as a Witness? No. Donations have no relevance as to whether a person is counted as a Witness or has any particular assignment or privilege in our organization. (Acts 8:18-20) In fact, most donations are made anonymously. Each Witness donates his time, energy, and resources to our worldwide work according to his own desire and circumstances.-2 Corinthians 9:7. How do you know how many are actively witnessing? Each month, Witnesses report their preaching activity to their local congregation. This report is made voluntarily. Congregation reports are tabulated, and the totals are sent to the local branch office. The branch sends the totals for each country or territory to our world headquarters. At the end of every service year, the peak number of Witnesses for each land during that year is determined. These figures are added together to determine the number of Witnesses worldwide. Detailed reports for each country are published in the “Around the World” section on our website. These reports encourage us, just as similar reports encouraged the early Christians.-Acts 2:41; 4:4; 15:3. Do you count those associated with your organization who do not preach? Although we do not include such ones in the number of Witnesses, we welcome them in our congregations. Most of them attend the annual Memorial of Christ’s death, so the number of such ones can be roughly determined by the difference between the attendance at this meeting and the number of Witnesses. In 2019, the attendance at the Memorial was 20,919,041. Many who do not attend our meetings benefit from our free home Bible study program. During 2019, we conducted an average of 9,618,182 Bible studies each month, some of which were held with several individuals at the same time. Why are government census figures for the number of Witnesses higher than your figures? Government census bureaus often determine their figures by asking people which religious group they identify themselves with. For example, the U.S. Census Bureau states that their surveys “sought to determine whether the respondents regarded themselves as adherents of a religious community,” adding that the resulting figures are “subjective rather than objective.” By contrast, we count as Jehovah’s Witnesses only those who preach to others and who report that activity, not those who merely identify themselves as Witnesses. Also the record of an average of 700 baptized per day worldwide shows very well that the global witnessing activity of the good news of the Kingdom of God in harmony with the command of Jesus Christ at Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28: 19,20 is a successful fulfillment of prophecies according to the apostolic pattern of Acts 1: 8 and Acts 5:42 making practical what Acts 15: 14-17 reports about today. The reality belongs to Jesus Christ because he is being blessed by Jehovah. Thanks, Jehovah!
This is very surprising .A subtitle was running while watching this at 12:27. Its written "and I obey Allah he says" even though he actually says "I have a Bible and I obey what it says"...Watch the subtitle at 12:27. Is it just a typo or intentional??
Man is not given a soul but becomes a living soul when the breath (life) of God combines with the material body! There is not a single verse in the Bible that talks about an immortal soul. Jesus when He comes again brings His reward with Him as he raises the just from the graves and together with the living just are taken to heaven. If we (my soul???)went to heaven (or hell) when I die, sure I would be judged at my death and there would be no need for a judgement day or a resurrection when Jesus comes!
Without a doubt the human soul is immortal. This is clearly seen in many Scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments: Psalm 22:26; 23:6; 49:7-9; Ecclesiastes 12:7; Daniel 12:2-3; Matthew 25:46; and 1 Corinthians 15:12-19. Daniel 12:2 says, “Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.” Similarly, Jesus Himself said that the wicked “will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life” (Matthew 25:46). With the same Greek word used to refer to both “punishment” and “life,” it is clear that both the wicked and the righteous have an eternal/immortal soul. The unmistakable teaching of the Bible is that all people, whether they are saved or lost, will exist eternally, in either heaven or hell. True life or spiritual life does not cease when our fleshly bodies pass away in death. Our souls will live forever, either in the presence of God in heaven if we are saved, or in punishment in hell if we reject God’s gift of salvation. In fact, the promise of the Bible is that not only will our souls live forever, but also that our bodies will be resurrected. This hope of a bodily resurrection is at the very heart of the Christian faith (1 Corinthians 15:12-19). While all souls are immortal, it is important to remember that we are not eternal in the same way that God is. God is the only truly eternal being in that He alone is without a beginning or end. God has always existed and will always continue to exist. All other sentient creatures, whether they are human or angelic, are finite in that they had a beginning. While our souls will live forever once we come into being, the Bible does not support the concept that our souls have always existed. Our souls are immortal, as that is how God created them, but they did have a beginning; there was a time they did not exist. www.gotquestions.org/human-soul-mortal-immortal.html

I think. The way he thinks about death. Death is only he said. Correct me if am wrong, cause I ain't gonna rewind it 😁. But yea, the way he thinks & the way he was speaking about the questions he was being ask...
Christ only has as much deity as father has bestowed upon him. His deity is only relative to the father. Christ would have nothing, would not even exist if it was not for father. Rev 3:14; John 1:1,18 Christ's god ship was begotten - made by the father. Christ cannot therefore be almighty god, he cannot be the father or equal to the father in any way. He is the son.
tim spangler begotten means that he came into existence by the will of the father. Christ owes his existence to the father as John 1:18 and Rev 3:14 clearly shows. Revelation 1:1 tells us the vision was given to Christ from God which again shows the fathers superiority of Christ. Father is greater than Christ, whether Christ walked as a man on earth or is a spirit in heaven.
"Father is greater than Christ, " Jesus said that those who believe in him will do GREATER works than him. Since Jesus died to save mankind, what greater work than that are his believers doing? John 14:2 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." The point I am trying to make here is that greater does not mean better. The Father is not better than Jesus because they are equally Almighty God in nature, like believers works are not better than Jesus dying to save mankind but can be greater ( as in converting more people than Jesus did). When Christians speak of Jesus as being Almighty God, they mean that he had the same nature as his Father and was equally with the Father in the beginning and YES his is the son, but is equally Almighty God. :) ( In my theological understanding). You can be the Son of God and be God at the same time. Jesus said he was The Son of man and yet was man at the same time. You know John 1:1 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."John 1:14 The word became flesh... Forget the watctower NWT of John 1:1 calling the word 'a' god, it's been fudged by dishonest or amateur watchtower writers. "Christ owes his existence to the father" Not sure what you are getting at but how do understand this ?John 17:5 " And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." I like your channel by the way. Keep up the awareness for the poor JW's. They deserve better than they are getting from their organisation. PS An interesting way to understand only begotten, is think of what do cats beget.... cats? What do Humans beget...…. humans, what does God beget..... Has to be of the same nature God but there is only one God according to God in the bible? Right? Jesus had two natures? God and Man? It's all a bit incredible, I know, but I'm not a believer anyway so I don't get too wound up over the issue. :)
Jesus Is God, you are firm in your belief and I am firm in mine. I cannot accept that Yashua is greater than the God who made him as it is clear from scripture that Christ was begotten by the father John 1:18.
nickgcbound I agree cats beget cats, humans beget humans so father - Almighty God made or brought about the existence of Christ so they are of the same kind, Almighty God made another god. Hence, Christ owes his existence to the father and in no way could ever be equal to him, just as no other spirit being could ever have been equal to Christ as all other beings came into existence through the power of Christ. Col 1:13-17 Christ has glory from all other loyal spirits in heaven. Father loves and glorifies his son and wants other creation also to love and glorify him.
" Almighty God made or brought about the existence of Christ so they are of the same kind," Well Jesus already existed prior ( The Logos John 1:1) and created everything, that's the unique part and perhaps difficult to comprehend that he is God the creator, not the father, but the son ( assuming the bible is true and a real history of events, that is). " all other beings came into existence through the power of Christ. Col 1:13" The word 'OTHER' is not in the Greek text. The watchtower added that to their own NWT to support their home made theology of a first created Jesus and to reduce him to a mere created angel, robbing him of his Deity. Colossians Chapter 1 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Please Note. also that Firstborn does not mean First created. Look up firstborn and it's meaning. You seem to have a lot of watchtower theology in your views/beliefs?I hope you don't think Jesus is the Archangel (Michael). Read Hebrews Chapter one, in case you do. It speaks of Jesus' divine Inheritance and throne ship and superiority to angels by his nature.Having said all that theological rambling,do keep up the good work, you obviously care about injustices and crimes against children and that shows you have great integrity.
Not only admit your wrong doing by saying 'sorry,' but also by turning from all sins no longer practicing them willingly. You have to be sincere. Just saying sorry isn't enough! And repentance in the greek means a change in mind.
But the problem with adding the works to repentance is that we would never be saved until we had completely mastered good works and no longer stumbled and did no more bad works. When would anyone ever overcome their own sin enough for salvation to even begin? But the Bible says that we are saved by grace through faith, not of works, so as pious as it sounds to say that we must not sin anymore, that cannot be the qualifications for salvation from sin. True faith will result in works, but we ate saved without any works at all. So, since the word means change of mind, and it is toward a belief that is with the heart, I assume that repentance means a change of heart, and one that brings the person into agreement with the convicting Holy Spirit about sin. I mainly go by examples in the Bible to understand repentance: Zacchaeus and Mary Magdalen; the thief on the cross; the publican who wouldn't even lift his eyes toward heaven, but beat his breast and said "God, have mercy upon me...". Those are all pictures of repentance. And when we turn to Jesus in sincere faith, in response to the Holy Spirit, God does not just leave us alone. He works with us to bring us into conformity with the image of Jesus. So the fact that we cannot hold on to everything that we felt when we were so under conviction, is okay, because God still knows them and can bring them back into our remembrance. He is still the same; He is a Savior, not just a judge, and our spiritual growth is His work, and He has promised not to quit until He has accomplished what He set out to do. Changed behavior is a result of repentance, but mere repentance doesn't even know how it's going to change, only that it is wrong and must change.
I understand the concept of you asking these questions to those who don't believe but as a Christian we know after repentance (a confession to God our we are guilty of our sins) on judgment day do you think God is going to bring all our sins back up when God forgives and forgets our sin once repentance. So on judgement day I was giving the scripture we stand before God perfect without blemish so there is nothing that will be held against us with our sins already been forgiving. What do you think on this?
You are correct but don't forget that if you are still alive when Jesus returns you will be raptured off Earth while the battle of Armageddon rages. And if you are dead immediately he returns he will raise you as one of the faithful martyrs to eternal life on Earth as leaders and teachers. All the other dead will have to stay in their graves 1,000 years until Judgment Day when they will be examined to determine if they carry Satan's SEED-DNA or not.

There's plenty that could be "argued" of course, but my brother was very humble and patient per 1 Peter 3:15. Well done.
(Also, nice to see more JWs feeling more comfortable with beards).
This man is not a Jehovah’s Witness. Maybe he might have been brought up as one but he’s not practicing. He has a beard for one and he’s not quite sure of the Watchtower theology.
Exactly!
I wasn't sure which one was the witness, and I think that they are quite free to grow a beard
The watchtower is a cultist book from the devil
Charles Taze Russell ,the guy who cooked up the JW cult had a beard
You can have a beard as a JW..
May God bless you for the work you do. This man is lost. He doesn't believe like a JW so I think he was sent by God to you. God is good!
(Ezikiel 18:4) The Soul who Sins Will (Die)
The (Soul) is not immortal or survives after Death it Dies. King james bible.
Please research for this topic.
The proliferation of this false teaching, the immortality of soul was uttered by the very mouth of Satan (through the snake) to Eve at the Garden of Eden. Gen 3:4 said "At this the serpent said to the woman: “You certainly will not die."
Satan the devil doesn't have to come up with a lot of new things, he just keeps playing the same old record over and over again and people still believe it. And that is what Jesus taught in his Parable of the Wheat and Weeds. The proliferation of false teachings.
Consider Acts 24:15 it says that "I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."
Base on this verse, what will be the scenario during resurrection if the soul of the righteous are already in heaven and the soul of the unrighteous are already in hell! (If you can post your SCENARIO here)
Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs are biblical and logical (not convoluted) and so clear.
That is not at all a Jehovah 's witness. He didn't state ANY of their beliefs.
Exactly, the title of this video is misleading and is deceitful. I don't mean to be immodest but I would have gotten my electronic bible out and showed him some scriptures instead of going...ah ummm, wellll, I believe in this ahhhh and so on.
@@grantknott yes, I have been very busy going on chatrooms, and it is a full-time job calling out all the false teachers, especially those teaching that Jesus is God. Where does it say in the Bible that right after death - the soul ends up in heaven?! After all - death was the punishment for man transgressing the law of God!
Chris theron, the ten commandments were there to show we need a savior.
God blesses you darren
God bless you! Keep up the good work, soldier!!
PSALMS 103:10 READS "He has not dealt with us according to our sins, NOR HAS HE REPAID US WHAT OUR ERRORS DESERVE!"
Let us consider the ancient Israel at Jeremiah 7:30-31 " 'For the people of Judah have done what is bad in my eyes,’ declares Jehovah. ‘They have set up their disgusting idols in the house that bears my name, in order to defile it. 31 They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, SOMETHING THAT I HAD NOT COMMANDED AND THAT HAD NEVER EVEN COME INTO MY HEART' "
Hell is one of Satan's lies and deceits, concerning God! Satan love to defame Jehovah God; to damage the reputation of our Loving, Just, Kind and Merciful God!
Well, you lose your life which belongs to God, if you try to keep it for yourself and live it your way, but if you live your life to glorify God, you will keep it!
My life is mine. God doesn't get to have it, and he certainly doesn't get to hold it for ransom in exchange for my worship.
I live for me. I will not serve.

Jesus is God’s literal son
How can a fallen angel have authority over the Creator ‘ God ‘ ( Jehovah ) , so as to be able to offer God himself , any of the kingdoms he has created ?
What obvious nonesence . How can the Devil tempt God
So Jesus must be Gods literal son !
But simply ask yourself , if Jesus is God then exactly who was he praying to on many occasions throughout
his ministry , particularily In the wilderness and in the garden of Gersenemy .

Lost! How can JWs be lost? They can be found all over the globe.
Amen but we need to be baptized and receive the Spirit of Christ. Acts 2:38
It is important to understand what the meaning of baptism is. Baptism means to be immersed. In Matthew 3:11 John says:
"I baptize you with water for repentance.
Ephesians 5:26 says we are washed by the water OF THE WORD, not of water.
Krystal Clutter Ephesians 5:26 KJV - That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing *OF WATER* BY THE WORD.
You reciev the Spirit of God when your repent and put your trust in the gospel Ephesians 1:13. Not at baptism keep in mind acts 2 Is to the nation of Israel read a few verses before 38 v 22¶Ye men of Israel, hear these words
Then we read

I was talking to a top JW speaker from Tennessee.
I showed him Revelation 14:10 and he immediately denied what it said (in his own NWT!)
When I pointed out that I was saying 'IT IS WRITTEN,' whilst he was saying, 'HATH GOD SAID,' and furthermore pointed out who said, 'IT IS WRITTEN,' (JESUS) and who said, 'HATH GOD SAID,' (satan). he declared, "Your too good for me!" And promptly packed up shop and legged it.
This was a JW top man and he lasted about 5 minutes.
For what it's worth, the Revelation prophecy is highly symbolic, presented in signs as
the very first vs. of Rev mentions.
If you took this vs. literally, what "wild beast and it's image" are they guilty of worshipping? The wild beast symbolizes something.
What is the wine of God's anger that they will be drinking? It symbolizes something it's not literal.
As for the existence of a literal hell :
Revelation 14:9-11 speaks of some who are “tormented with fire and sulphur . .
@@briah9120
10 he will also drink of the wine of the anger of God that is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and day and night they have no rest, those who worship the wild beast and its image and whoever receives the mark of its name.
Looks like you forgot to read verse 11 along with the Gospels and how they refer to fire and eternal torment etc starting with Mt 13
40 Therefore, just as the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be in the conclusion of the system of things. 41 The Son of man will send his angels, and they will collect out from his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and people who practice lawlessness, 42 and they will pitch them into the fiery furnace. - translated "the new testament"

6. Begin the quotes:
Page 110(paragraph 10)
10 Says Johannes Greber in the introduction of his translation of The New Testament, copyrighted in 1937: “I myself was
a Catholic priest, and until I was forty-
eight years old had never as much as believed in the possibility of communicating
with the world of God’s spirits. The day
came , however, when I involuntarily took
my first step toward such communication,
and experienced things that shook me to
the depths of my soul.. . . My experiences
are related in a book that has appeared in
both German and English and bears the title, Communication with the Spirit-
World: Its Laws and Its Purpose.” (Page
15)
.....in the Foreword of his afore-
mentioned book ex-priest Greber says:
“The most significant spiritualistic book
is the Bible.” Under this impression Greber
endeavors to make his New Testament
translation read very spiritualistic.
Page 111(paragraph 11)
11 Spiritualism claims that there are
good spirits and bad spirits and that it does
not want to have anything to do with the
bad spirits but tries to communicate only
with the good spirits....etc
Page 111(paragraph 11,the final sentence)
Very plainly the spirits in
which ex-priest Greber believes helped him
in his translation.
Page 111(paragraph 12)
“TRY THE SPIRITS”
12 However, when the apostle John says,
“Try the spirits,” or, “Test the spirits,” he
does not mean for us to dabble in spiritualism and get in touch with the spirits by
means of spirit mediums, ouija boards
or planchettes or other spiritistic para
phernalia and try out which is a good spirit
and which is a bad one....
Page 112(paragraph 16)
16 The evidence is clear that the spirits
with whom this leading spiritualist communicates are against the Bible and its Author Jehovah God and his Son Jesus
Christ. Why so? Because the Bible and
Jehovah and Jesus Christ are against those
spirits
Page 114(paragraph 23)
INSANITY THROUGH OBSESSION
23 The purpose of the demons through
spiritualism is not merely to destroy your
faith in God’s Word the Bible but, more
than that, to gain possession of your mind
and body, to control you completely, thus
leading you to insanity.
(end of quote)
7.the above are the confessions of watchtower
8.in short ,what watchtower says about johannes greber are:
- a spiritist
- greber endeavors to make his "new testament " translation read very spiritualistic
- the translation done by the helps of the "spirits"
-the spirits with whom johannes g communicates are against the bible, its author Jehovah God and Jesus Christ
- the purpose of demons via spiritualism :
*destroy your faith in the Bible
*gain possession of your mind,body
*control you completely
*result: insanity
9.yet watch tower gains their support in their " new world translation "
of john 1:1 from new testament (johannes greber)
10.new testament (johannes g, 1937)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God; and the Word was a god(john 1:1)
11. New world translation(watchtower,1950)
In the beginning the Word was,the Word was with God,and the Word was a god
12.no wonder, watchtower likes johannes greber's translation
13.in addition to Johannes greber's, wachtower loves translation of emphatic diaglott
(benjamin wilson,1864)
14.john 1:1,
below " kai Theos " of the interlinear of emphatic diaglott, benjamin translate :
and a god
15.however the same words " kai Theos" in 2 corinthians 1:3
below the " kai Theos" he translate: and God
16.who is benjamin w?
- a liar?
- christadelphian( does not believe Jesus is God)
17.that is the reason, he translates "a god" when refer to Jesus in John 1:1
18.for sure ,Jesus is not merely the name of God
(mark 9:38-39,John 10:25,5:43,1john 5:20,rev 19:13), but also is the name of a man /human:
- visible(0-33 ad)
- mediator
- prayed
-died
-resurrected
19.One God,one mediator
(1timothy 2:5)
20.God (invisible) dwells in the Son(visible)
(John 14:10)
Jehovah witness..not believe Jesuss Christ as God..but they believe the Bible..sometimes itu is funny why so..we know the Bible tells the life of Jesus as God..there is something wrong with the Jehovah witness...May God Bless this Guy ..

@@tiffanywright6653 There is one thing you have missed which totally mis characterizes the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said if you have seen Him you have seen the Father.
Apart from Jesus Christ you have no part in the Father.
***
MATTHEW 28
18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
***
Not only did the Father give all power to Jesus Christ, He Himself says observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. This seems curious as you would have to conced that if the Father has given Him ALL as in ALL power in heaven and earth.....then please explain who it is that could hold such power.
Another insight into who Jesus is:
***
LUKE 9
34While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. 35And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
***
You see Lenell, the Father Himself has told you and me to HEAR HIM (Jesus Christ).
Here is the conclusion of the matter:
***
JOHN 14:9
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Not anymore. He's dead.
He’s not In the True or a Jehovah’s Witness 🙄

And let the question of which one is truly "Christain" to be determined elsewhere.

Same problem though ...
>
>
>
Even if they are interpreted to say that Jesus is God, to be commensurate with Trinitarianism those passages would have to say that Christ is not God, but a "Person of God."
Since if Jesus were really "God," then it would make him the entire Trinity.
>
>
But what scripture specifically says Jesus was "before time and space?"
Another unsubstantiated philosophical assertion.

>
>
>

So does not eating unclean and practicing Traditions that are profane like Christmas and Easter. Right out the window. Their answer: "We're Gentile believers ". What an oxymoron. Salvation is of the Jews. Meaning the pathway to salvation is brought to you by the bloodline of Judah i.e. Messiah. This does not mean convert to Judaism. But it does mean to guard his commandments and walk as he walk.. oh yeah he was a Jew. But they have Grace! Oh man what a joke. Saddest joke ever because it's really not funny
@Tim Webb Romans 2:5-8: But because of your HARD and IMPENITENT heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
1 Peter 1:17: If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s WORK, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth;
Revelation 20:12: And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their WORKS.
"For without faith, it is impossible to please God."
I agree.
Uh…. OK.
You said: “but the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ covers all these sins”
First maybe you should ask yourself this question; What is Sin?
On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Messiah said that BTW.
@@ewankerr3011 John 20:28 (KJV)
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
(Scholarly consensus, not my opinion)
For example, they change the phrase "worship" to "obiesence" when referring to Jesus.

"Father is greater than Christ, "
Jesus said that those who believe in him will do GREATER works than him. Since Jesus died to save mankind, what greater work than that are his believers doing?
John 14:2 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
The point I am trying to make here is that greater does not mean better.
"Christ owes his existence to the father"
Not sure what you are getting at but how do understand this ?John 17:5 " And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was."
I like your channel by the way.
" Almighty God made or brought about the existence of Christ so they are of the same kind,"
Well Jesus already existed prior ( The Logos John 1:1) and created everything, that's the unique part and perhaps difficult to comprehend that he is God the creator, not the father, but the son ( assuming the bible is true and a real history of events, that is).
" all other beings came into existence through the power of Christ. Col 1:13"
The word 'OTHER' is not in the Greek text. The watchtower added that to their own NWT to support their home made theology of a first created Jesus and to reduce him to a mere created angel, robbing him of his Deity.
Colossians Chapter 1
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
@@Mcfirefly2 I agree
I wonder what the Guy means when he says we have prove ourselves and come back to earth to do the will of God.. where does he get that from.?
It's scripture. The idea of all believers ending up 'in heaven' as soon as they die is completely unscriptural.

I understand the concept of you asking these questions to those who don't believe but as a Christian we know after repentance (a confession to God our we are guilty of our sins) on judgment day do you think God is going to bring all our sins back up when God forgives and forgets our sin once repentance.

But when you say “obey what it says,” do you mean never stop sinning, which is impossible, or do you mean keep drawing near to God so He can change you from the inside out?
First you have to read the Bible. There are lots of things to learn about obeying gods word.
What you mean is to repent. Repenting is very important it means turning away from our old sinful life when we come to Jesus our Lord. Of course sometimes it happens but we still have to hate sin!! Trust in Jesus and read his word because it's literally life my friend!!! Bless you and your family in Jesus mighty name.
@@saracmr6133 repentance is change of mind.
When you change your mind by the power of the Holy Spirit (who came to dwell in you when you believed according to Romans 10:8-9) your actions will change.
We are a SPIRIT that lives in a body and have a SOUL ( thinker, shoser, emotion..) so our Soul determined on who we choose the Spirit (God) or the flesh Devil.
So our SPIRIT lives forever.
Step 1. Repent
Step 2. Put your faith in Jesus and the work that Jesus has done.
