@@Ladybhive71 seeing wrong is waking up, running to enemies is stupid. I have met club-dance women r^ped in family who boast they now get their sadists r^ping from neighbors and sailors and truckers. What happened to seeing the truth not to jump from frying pan into fire. Tit for Tat is NOT waking up, but stupid defiance. Hannah said no my Lord to Eli who accused her of being drunk. But when she brought Samuel to the tabernacle temple tent she knew Jepthah's daughter would not let Eli and sons corrupt the boy; so Samuel brought the temple back to Jehovah. Takes time. If you think youre woke, get a new alarm clock.

JW is like scientology, but with a Christian theme to it. both are cults, and probably share the same characteristics.

      @MorbidandUseless หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      What makes it a cult?

    • @krism5575
      @krism5575 หลายเดือนก่อน

@MorbidandUseless what makes JW a cult?
✓ Questioning, doubt, and dissent are discouraged or even punished.
✓ Feelings of shame and/or guilt are used to influence and/or control members often through peer pressure and persuasion.
      ✓ Us vs them mentality.
✓ The group claims special exalted status for itself, it's leaders and it's members.
✓ Members required to cut ties with family and friends (especially when someone was disfellowshipped)
✓ Members are encouraged or required to live and/or socialize only with other group members.
✓ Members devote inordinate amounts of time to the group and group -related activities.
✓ Unquestioning commitment to the "governing body/watchtower", belief system, ideology and practices.
✓ MEMBERS ARE TOLD HOW TO THINK, ACT & FEEL (you can now have beards, wear slacks, shun the people who are disfellowshipped/removed even though he/she is your child/spouse, etc..) no questions asked. You just follow blindly because you were told by the leaders even though your already 34 years old for example.
✓ Hardcore believers or JW - "no life outside of the group"
      - people inside a cult doesn't know that they are brainwashed while their still inside that cult. You will only know that you were brainwashed, once you got out.
      - JW say that they are the only one who's saved and they believe good works brings salvation.
What the bible really teaches is: Repent! And turn back to God.
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth and the life. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.
Ephesians 2:8,9 For BY GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH, and that is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. NOT OF WORKS, lest anyone should boast.
      ROMANS 10:9,10
      JOHN 3:18
      ACTS 4:12

I got married at 18 to a 17 year old. Elders kids. Once my child brain started to develop in my early 20s I realized my prayers to jehovah to “help me see this is the truth” were r working. I thought me and my wife were mostly o. The same page. We came home from a Sunday meeting when I was 24 and as I was taking my jacket off I said “you don’t really believe all this shit do you? The 1914 doctrine is what woke me up as a Jehovah's Witness. When the covid pandemic hit, I decided to do some research about 1914 and how they arrived at that date. After searching in the encyclopedia, I discovered the fall of Jerusalem was in 587 BCE. This blew my mind just like what you found out. I questioned the elders and the Watchtower's credibility. I was outraged by the lies the governing body told us, so I left and never returned. Today, I'm a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ and I'm so thankful for Jesus for drawing me to God. Thank you for your video it's helping so many people. I urge the JWs to do their research and when you find out the REAL TRUTH, leave immediately. Jesus said to get out and don't listen to false prophets.

Your testimony is similar to mine. The 1914 doctrine is huge, it is the basis for them saying Jehovah chose them in 1919, Without 607, there is no credibility for their right to "rule" over their members. Once you learn that, it's pretty much over. I also am Christian, as is my son (who I raised in the JW religion). We are both followers of Christ now. I am always overjoyed to read the comments of so many ex JW's like us, who have left the religion for Christ.

It's not about Jehovah's sovereignty, that is what the JW's made us believe. Nothing we learned from the organization was true. I cried for a year, as I realized I had been lied to all my life. But I came out on the other side as a Christian, with a strong relationship in Christ. I found freedom in Him.

“They were disloyal to Me” is such a good point, it’s how I explained leaving to my mom. Obviously I left for other reasons, especially since I’m gay, but I told her that they were supposed to support me and be kind and not treat me differently and they continuously failed as I battled depression and self-hatred from being in denial. So happy for you!
607 vs 587 was what woke up my family. It was the October and November watchtowers of 2011. It was a two-part article That was supposed to determine if Jerusalem was destroyed in 587 or 687 BCE.
This article was one of the rare few articles that had references for their quotes. I looked up every single one of them them, because now we have the internet and don't have to go to the library and find the book and search through the pages to find the quote, it is much easier.
When I compared these references, which were actually pretty old, to modern day discoveries, and there were a lot more of them that it existed in 1919 or 1920 or 1940 or 1960 because they had dug up a whole lot more, I asked myself why is watchtower using old opinions, when they have a whole lot more evidence nowadays?
I saw the inconsistencies, I noticed how Watchtower would ask a question, tell you that they would answer you in a little while contort around to five subjects and finally, weakly, lamely, sort-of-ly answer their question.
The footnotes were the killers. The first foot note that you mentioned, was that no scientists believe that 607 was the year. If that was true, why does Watchtower quote scientists? why do they say we can't trust scientists? Watchtower quotes them all the time to prove their point!
The next footnote that was damning was Watchtower admitting that if you simply went by all the business receipts that they had gathered from Babylon during its 70 year rule, and they had thousands of receipts for all of those years, that included the name of the king, where the moon was, whether it was a full moon Half Moon etcetera, and one other star and its position ( and these three things were on every single receipt, so it didn't matter if a rock got cracked and you couldn't read if it was a full moon or a half moon, because you have thousands and thousands of receipts with the position of the Moon and it's phases. It didn't matter if there was a cloud cover, or if it was raining outside, because guess what? Every single day the moon decreases by a certain amount you don't even have to know what does moon is doing because you know every 30 days you're going to get a dark blackout and then a full moon!
These people were into stars and astronomy and astrology and they knew what the moon was going to do every single day. It was part of their worship, it was part of their culture. It was on every single business receipt that these men wrote.
The footnote said, if you go by these thousands of Babylonian business receipts, then 587 is the year when Babylon was destroyed.
However, in the larger part of the article in larger print, the Watchtower has to remind you that there are discrepancies in months and they asked questions such as:
Could others have ruled between the Reigns of these kings? If so, additional years would have to be added to the Neo babylonian period"
However, let's not forget, the moon doesn't lie. There is a 20 year difference between 607 and 587.
I just have to say, that I also was skipping through an old book from the 1900s. In that book, I believe it's quoting either Revelation or Ezekiel where The Blood Rose to the bridles of the horses. Afterwards, I saw a big list of numbers and that caught my attention. It was talking about how do we know that God's organization was chosen by Jehovah and how do we know that this book that was started by Brother Russell was approved of by him in heaven and that he used people on Earth to finish it?
They did a whole concoction with numbers I believe it was using the number 1060. They did a measurement of the bindery in New York being transferred to a Bindery in another place in the state, they counted the steps it would take to make it to the other Bindery and there was a ferry that went across the water to that location.
It totaled all the steps and Miles that it would take to get there, and then it said if you take that number and subtract a number from when they change the train tracks from this location to the other you come up with 1,060!
Now, I cannot remember the exact numbers or the exact words, but I just sat there and cried when I realized that they were just numerologists. All those years that I studied those huge books about ezekiel, daniel, revelation, and all the calculations that we went through. Typical, Atypical ( which Watchtower know longer uses) calculations to blow your brain out. I just cried, and that cut the cord for me.
I was not going to be conned for one more second.
I am free, and I am happy ❣️🎶🎂🎈🌟💓🎉❤🎉

    • @isaiah30v8
      @isaiah30v8 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

This is what I found at the bottom of the rabbit hole:
      .
I tell Jehovah's Witnesses to go through the narrow gate that is on the cramped road leading to life.
      .
      Matthew 7:13-14
“Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road ** LEADING OFF INTO LIFE ** and few are the ones finding it.
      .
I ask them to read what Jehovah said would happen at the time of the end that is in every Christians bible and yet, few are the ones finding it:
      .
      Isaiah 66:5
Hear the word of Jehovah, YOU men who are trembling at his word: “YOUR brothers that are hating YOU, that are excluding YOU by reason of my name, said, ‘May Jehovah be glorified!’ He must also appear with rejoicing on YOUR part, and they are the ones that will be put to shame.”
      .
[Name of person] is no longer one of JEHOVAH's Witnesses ---->> "excluding YOU by reason of MY NAME"
      .
I ask them if they can see Jehovah's promise to disfellowshipped Jehovah's Witnesses:
      .
"He must also appear with rejoicing on YOUR part"!
      .
I then warn them that, if they go through this narrow gate they will lose their family as a consequence of the Watchtower Societies shunning policies.
      .
Then I ask them to read what Jesus Christ said about everlasting life:
      .
      Mark 10:29-30
Jesus said: “Truly I say to YOU men, No one has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the good news 30 who will not get a hundredfold now in this period of time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, with persecutions, and in the coming system of things ** EVERLASTING LIFE **
      .
I then ask them if they want to live forever.
      .
I also tell them that they can leave the organization and their congregation with dignity by telling everybody that they believe Jehovah, Jesus Christ and everything else in the bible.
      .
Walk out with your head held high and jump for joy when you do.
      .
What Jehovah said would happen, is now really happening!
      .
      That's Good News ................... right!
      .
Jesus said: “Truly I say to YOU men, No one has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for my sake and FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOOD NEWS.

Because you dont see Nabonidus ruled 34 years and the confusion that his sons 17 years 556-539bc Darius is not the same temple licensed Darius as 539-520bc. You need to study the history books in libraries instead of waking up from TH-cam propaganda video. Nabopollasar's 21 years were the 1000 years of Amizaduga 1646-1625bc which puts him at 646-625bc. Where WT fails is not majorly in truth versus lies but in effort to teach. They print books and when you ask they say we have the books, go look it up. I have. Which is why i found both world and WT are wrong. Truth unveils. Noah died 2021bc Dec 25, Nimrod died 1770bc April 22, Shem's death is marked in the Mayan calendar (actually so is Noah as new year Pop 1, and Nimrod Yax 1). Coronation of Cyrus is marked by 365 leap days fro Noah's death. Lot of stuff out there neither world nor WT cares about.

Hello. I am a New Subscriber. Please allow me to share this with you.
ABOUT JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES:. Of all the Churches that are teaching things that are FALSE I’ve never heard of anyone whose FAMILIES are TORN APART for UNSCRIPTUAL reasons...Mothers can’t speak to daughters, Fathers can’t speak to Sons, etc…..I RESPECT everyone’s right to different believes, but when a Christian Organization teaches things that are NOT true about Christ...Saying that Jesus is not the MEDIATOR between God and humans, saying that Jesus Christ has already returned, that he returned In 1914...They tell people they have no Heavenly Hope if they are not a JW. An Organization telling people they are not to partake of the Emblems...To REJECT Jesus Ransom Sacrifice. Partaking is something Jesus instructed all TRUE FOLLOWERS of His to do. An Organization that is DESTROYING Lives with their constant Flip Flop teachings and peoples prospects for Salvation. This is an Organization that feels they are a SUBSTITUTE for Jesus Christ. They have taught people they were APPOINTED by Jesus Christ and they should TRUST the Governing Body like they TRUST Jesus Christ, then later on ADMIT they ARE NOT INSPIRED by God. Let’s not Forget all of their FALSE PROPHECIES. This is nothing more than a MAN MADE Organization that ONLY teaches people THEIR INTERPRETATION of the Bible which is why they use BOOKS, MAGAZINES, BROCHURES and PAMPHLETS. This is to BRAINWASH and INDOCTRINATE their INTERPRETATION of things….Not the Holy Spirits. Jesus made it very clear at John 8:31-32 “So Jesus said to the Jews who believed in him, “If you continue to accept and obey MY teaching, you are REALLY my Followers. 32 You will know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH will SET you FREE.” People will be SET FREE from the UNSCRIPTURAL BURDENS placed upon them. Also, so many people feel TRAPPED in this Organization because it uses their Families and Friends as a WEAPON to KEEP people ENSNARED. Also, at Ephesians 5:11, it tells us to EXPOSE people of this Caliber. This is the reason I speak out on my Channel. I am not trying to DISRESPECT anyone’s religion, at the same time we are to Obey God as Ruler, rather than man, as noted at Acts 5:29….that includes Daughter or Son. Any group that encourage parents to let their children die, or let yourself die by NOT taking a life saving blood transfusion, or a group that is destroying families and marriages all over the world, a group that don’t properly protect children, along with having so many people committing suicide, they NEED TO LOCK these NUT JOBS up. They constantly violate HUMAN RIGHTS, so their rights should be VIOLATED. JW's do MORE HARM and DAMAGE than good. The Government NEEDS to continue to BAN and lock these HOMEWRECKERS up, and KEEP them LOCKED up for at least 12 years. They are already BANNED in 34 Countries. Google it for yourself at: “Countries Where Jehovah's Witnesses' Activities Are Banned” This Organization is literally HURTING and DESTROYING people and something NEEDS to be done about them Worldwide. Normally I would say the Government shouldn't get involved, but when you have EXTREMISTS like this Organization who are DESTROYING LIVES all over the world, the Government NEEDS to step in and take ACTION.They don't even preach and teach about JESUS....We are instructed in the BIBLE to preach and teach about the "GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM"...That's "JESUS reigning and RULING as KING". They preach and teach more about JEHOVAH than JESUS and that's NOT what JEHOVAH wants or INSTRUCTS us to do. They DON'T even know how to conduct a simple BIBLE STUDY....They conduct BOOK studies. Someone asked a JW can they just use the BIBLE and they were turned down because JW's want you to use their BOOKS because that's where the INDOCTRINATION (brain washing comes in). They may use the BIBLE, but they DON'T conduct BIBLE STUDIES.

💜I appreciate your video. I am 56. My mother's doorbell was rung in 1974 when my dad was messing around on her. She was lonely and desperate for someone to "see" her. Those JWs hit the JACKPOT! Four years later, she had divorced my dad and moved me across the country, away from my huge Italian family to collect alimony and be a sheep surrounded by JWs. I was 10 years old, going to 3 meetings a week and forced to knock on stranger's doors to give "my presentation." I stood up to her when I was a freshman in high school because I wanted to play softball. Also, the JW kids acted one way at school and another way at the Kingdom Hall. They weren't following "the rules"! That made me insane. That hypocrisy was my breaking point. I'm so glad this cult is crumbling. The internet is providing a wealth of information to those who have questions... those who are "waking up"! I heard that the governing body is "reorganizing." Why would that be necessary if we are in the "end of days"? I'm glad you saw the light and are enjoying life instead of being a slave to this cult. Keep making videos. You are helping.💜

I've got nothing but great admiration for you at such a young age and have the ability to think through all of this muck of an organization with a clear head.
From a young age myself, I had always been suspicious about the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses and one ring if perhaps they really weren't true but I would force all of that thinking into the back of my head and keep going.
But the more I reached out to do things in the congregation the more I began to see the cracks in the religion. I became a ministerial servant and eventually I became an elder and that's when the dam broke.
I discovered that I could no longer in good conscience give half of the outlined talks to be given to the congregation because they simply weren't based in Scripture.
Finally there was a dickwad of a circuit overseer that came through and after my experience with that I decided I was done with the religion.
Even though I never questioned the existence of God and heaven like you I wondered why he would allow things to go on the way they have. And then I remembered that he even allowed his son to go to a torture state and die like a criminal so I guess with that I'm thinking why would he save us out of this mess early. It just made no sense to me that we had to suffer the way we do But then again if he's God and he made us I guess who are we to question. That's just my thought.
Thanks for the video. I think one day your wife will come around.

So very thankful you woke up !!!!
I encourage you to reconsider the premise that you were taught as a Jehovah’s Witness, that this is all about proving Jehovah, right, and Satan wrong. That premise is also false. The God of the Bible, who created you and me has many attributes. He is just and loving and merciful and forgiving to name a few. His desire is to be known by those that he created. The only way we can know him fully is to experience his great love unto us in his mercy and kindness and forgiveness. He has patiently endured with long suffering, the objects of his wrath, according to Romans chapter 9 in order to make himself known to us. Remember he walked in the garden with Adam and Eve, the whole new covenant and the kingdom to come is about him being in our midst again. He is returning to be with us and to walk with us as he did with Adam and Eve. We however, are not holy, as he is Holy. He asks us to be holy, and that is why he sent his son. In him, we are given his righteousness because he took our sin so that we could be the righteousness of God, 2 Corinthians 5:21 What would it be to know God partially? He desires for us to know him fully.
Start with the premise God intends to dwell with us again!
    Read:
“My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭37‬:‭27‬ ‭ESV‬‬
    2 Corinthians 6:16
"for you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: 'I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people'”
    Revelation 21:3
"Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God"
    Just a few I’m sure there’s more

      607 BC vs 587 BC = 20 years.
      20 / 2,520 = 0.008 margin of error!
      I Am an engineer.
      Anytime I make a part with a +/- .004” tolerance, that’s a GREAT part!
Now - we know Jah is perfect. He doesn’t make mistakes. Which then leads us to why our GB makes so many mistakes and have to clarify their teachings so often.
We, JWs, are NOT defending Jah fully. In that lack - Jah is not leading this organization and that allows another entity in the door to be able to do so.
Guess who that is: 1 John 5:19.
Jah’s creation was attacked August 2nd, 1937. What makes matters worse is that from that time on, we have been silent in defending God & even agree with the world against Jah’s creation!
Just search a specific word on our JW website and you will see all of the proof you need for the claim.
      How do we fix it?
I Am working on that now and have been for 4+ years. All the while being shunned and almost disfellowshipped for it.
      110% worth it.

Then know this it is 50th jubilee from the true year 537bc (try to trash that) to 1914, and that makes it a week of weeks, as well as 7 weeks to rebuild the city, then take all things Jerusalem did and they repeat with the IBSA-JWs including the jews ditched the temple in 523-520bc as well as 1928-1931. Jehovah allowed the sin of 1925-1928 to cause the sin of the previous rebuilt temple and did so to indicate here is where he is selecting who to save. The half week of that span is 689bc when the Mosque wa sbuilt on the temple grounds. Prophecy does have more than one true answer fulfilment. You remind me of my JW sister who says my JW mom had lunch with a guy so that means she fukt him. Never get the impression that one evil person in the Hall doesnt have one evil (?) person like you out of the Hall. You dont see yourself gathering all as one spirit to beleive the same evil trash, you find what is false or evil in WT, and you make up your own evil to defy it. What makes you think Jehovah does sink you both WT and you on the same Titanic, none of you on the lifeboat.

Thank you for sharing your story. I was baptized at 17. Born in. 2nd generation. I woke up 3 years ago at the age of 36. My husband woke up about a year earlier but was gentle with sharing information. It wasn't until we were disfellowshipped, and the shunning began, that I woke up. My in-laws said we were dead to them and so were our 10-year-old twins. They just up and wrote off their grandchildren. The veil lifted because of that moment and I realize how damaging disfellowshipping and shunning can be and how unloving the organization has to be to continue to enforce that policy. My mom said I was the devil. I was unsuccessful at waking her up. 😢 We were raised to preach the truth and so that's what I did and it triggered her cognitive dissonance big time. 3 months after our disfellowshipping, I had had enough. I went to my husband and I asked him to show me the truth about "The Truth". The skeletons in their closet are massive. I realized at that moment, I didn't completely understand the doctrines that I was preaching. The governing body gave me a script and I followed it. They keep everybody on the hamster wheel and so it was easier to concede. I had very little knowledge of the history of this organization. Had no idea about the failed predictions made by the organization as early as 1975! I remember when they had us throw out our old study books. They were adamant that nobody should keep them And now I know why. It is infuriating how obedient I was in all things JW. I would place myself in the category of living a "double life". Being an obedient and submissive woman is not who I am, at all. 😈 Long story short, I am happier than I have ever been.❤ It is rare that a spouse will wake up with their partner. More often than not it leads to divorce. I am grateful that my children were young and thankfully not baptized. They will get to grow up and be their own person and I can support them and respect the decisions they make with their life as adults. That means the world to me. I wish I could free all my friends and family that are still in. They are being manipulated and the organization is taking advantage of them. I now firmly believe that you cannot wait a person up from their indoctrination. That person needs to start questioning first. And at their own pace. Hopefully they will find their way out from under the control of the governing body. And then I recommend everybody get into therapy! Lol It has been very helpful. I hope you find your own meaning in this world. No one needs to tell you what that looks like, you'll know it when you see it 😊💗 welcome to freedom 🎉

EyeLoveEeek, I enjoyed reading your response. It is very informative as well as you have come to a realization that you are not fit to follow their religion and that is all it is. As your journey took its' course upon leaving, it is a disappointment that a lot of them were your friends (inside or out) in the JW which for them it is hard disassociating themselves from you. But as I wrote about my early (child) experience at leaving JW and mentioning how strenuous it is being JW, your family way in handling it has it's flaw as well as your Mom's backlash about dealing with your situation at hand. I'm sure it is discomforting and hard with living in an area where you all grew up in and once practiced the same religion and daily neighborly encounters, made life suck. Though I am sympathetic to your leaving JW, however, I'm confused about your wording about "they" keep everybody on a hamster wheel. Then you go on saying, you wish you could free your friends from their "own" individual freedom. It's the same way your mother and in-laws were trying to strip you of living a worldly lifestyle or a lifestyle that doesn't follow JW indoctrination. It's almost like you're not at a realization of it being a situation of the double-edged sword. Sometimes when you live and learn you become more careful about life choices just as the JW are doing with their personal choice for belief. By all mean I'm not saying anything is wrong with leaving JW because my realization was sixteen and not because I held on any built-up animosity or pressure from my family but to keep a sound mind later in life in knowing what the indoctrinations are when pertaining to the world. I mean, as newly found worldly people, there are laws we have to follow amongst a mixed-up society of lies, theft, envy, fornication, adultery, war, political endeavors and so forth. An illustration, you mean to tell me if you're driving erratically with speeding that a person doesn't deserve to be pulled over and ticketed? I'm sure if someone is driving in the wrong direction there will be a "consequential" death and this is why JW follow their rules that might not be "agreeable" to worldly people. I'm not trying to preach to you or defend JW but I am making common sense with logic of our personal choices. Ex-JW needs to stop blaming other JW for their life choice in religion. It at times can be a meaningful struggle but it all depends upon how much time an individual can endure before making a transformations in life.

    Awesome story Thanom! 🏆🎉🎉
The "Elders" are definitely NOT the Boss of you!!
Elders are really "company men" who act as human resource agents for the Watchtower organization.
Remember, human resource agents act only in the best interests of the company.
Elders search out any who are not loyal to the company, and those who are not actively supporting the policies and mission; as well as, individuals who are not reaching established goals within the corporation.
All of these individuals threaten the profitability and outward reputation of of the company, and may affect others in the organization.
When individuals inside of the organization/corporation have learned of hypocritical actions, deceitful policies, or lies regarding the actions of representatives of corporation, departments or heads of the corporation (Governing Body) and begin exposing these...
Elders (human resource agents of the Watchtower ) are assigned to eliminate or lessen the effects of "whistle blowers" by labeling them "apostates".
Once they identify an individual as a "whistle blower" they follow well established company rules and actively pursue any threat that may expose secretive practices, hypocrisy, or harmful or illegal actions that may impact company's profitability.
Elders follow corporation guidelines set forth in the exclusive manual for elders, entitled: "Shepherd the Flock of God" published by the WTBTS.
    1. To become informed as to the level of knowledge and information a potential whistle blower possesses.
    2. Have a formal meeting (Judicial Committee hearing) with them to ascertain the level of dissent or waning support for the organization and threat they pose to the corporation.
    3. Formally put the whistle blower on notice their actions constitute disloyalty to the corporation and they will be "fired" from the company losing all benefits and any ties to other members of the corporation.
    4. During a congregation meeting ( regularly scheduled corporation workshop) announce the "firing" of those who have failed to follow company rules.

Hey Thanom, thanks so much for telling your story with such truth and honesty. I love listening to stories of people who woke up, every story is different, but every story is beautiful and real. Getting out of the darkness, which you thought was light, is so liberating. And for people like you, who value truth above anything, it must be such a relief to no longer belong to this wicked, lying institution.
I woke up 2 years ago. For me, it was also the belief that I found the truth, which attracted me to the organization. I believed with my whole heart, never doubted anything, and disfellowshipping was always my biggest fear.
My family had all woken up some time before me, so for a few months I was the only one still rooting for the organization, defending them against all criticism I heard at home. But it wasn't until my sister told me: "The thing I hold against JWs the most is that they disrespect Jesus, by calling him an archangel - this is degrading and humiliating for him, because he is someone so much more powerful." That's what made me really stop and think: Am I degrading Jesus, is he really someone more powerful?
I read the Gospel of John, and then all the other Gospels - just the Bible without any additional materials. I did in fact discover that Jesus is someone much more powerful than I believed my whole life. It was a life-changing thing, and much more liberating than quitting the organization.
I know everybody who woke up has a lot of issues, traumas that need healing and these things need time. But when you're ready, I encourage you to explore this issue. Jehovah's Witnesses lied to you about so many things. Did they lie about Jesus's identity as well? If so, what was their motive? What were they trying to accomplish? I know today that they were keeping me as far from Jesus as possible all my life. And knowing the real Jesus means freedom. He loves you and nothing will ever separate you from his love. Please let me share one Bible verse which I read to the elders at the end of the judicial committee. They read to me this verse about the tree which does not bear good fruit and is cut down and thrown into the fire. I asked to read a passage as well and it was Romans 8:38-39: "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate ME from the love of God in Christ Jesus MY Lord."
All the best to you my friend, thank you for sharing your story. I hope from now on only good things will come your way! 💙

Congratulations, my brother. Man, u only scratched the surface of this religion. Lol
It seems like the JW Broadcasting, Conventions, GB talks woke up a lot of us during the pandemic. Probably b/c it was the first time we weren’t blinded by the emotions of the camaraderie of the friends, or being busy, & had time to really listen.
I, too, was a born in (they caught my parents when they were having problems & love bomb the ish outta moms). I moved up very fast in the org; I was the youngest Elder in my Circuit, then the youngest Secretary in the Region, eventually the youngest COBE, & by far the youngest HLC member.
Our marriage experience is flip flop. Lol. Truthfully all the signs, on a personal level, said we shouldn’t have gotten married; but, u know we’re taught courtship is under the watchful eyes of heaven. Lol We already had mad issues, found out everything about her was a lie & a pretense. Regardless, I’m grateful of the experience. It was in our marriage that she found out everything regarding The Org.
I would’ve believed her if she didn’t say “there’s no need for us to be w/ each other now.” In my head, I thought she just wanted to leave. She berated the ish outta me for staying.
During that time I felt empty, lost, & my fellow elders started ?ing if I was fit to be an elder. Lol. What she said made sense, but we were so separate in our views that I felt I was “the new Job.” Lol.
It seemed every time I prayed, things got worst. So, I would purposely stay busy to avoid home; my solace? An empty KH. I was apart of a congregation that had literature since 1879! One day, in proving to myself this was the truth, & to combat her, I decided to crack open the July 1, 1879 WT (very 1st issue). The opening statement said “we’re living in the last days.” I quickly closed it, & in my head I was like WTF? How? The last days didn’t start until 1914; but, of course Prov. 4:18, the light gets brighter, right? Lol
Ffwd; I leave the house b/c I was told I had to. The brothers I served w/ were literally trying to push me out, anyway, b/c I became a distraction for the friends. Bet; I moved back home & was semi-welcomed back to my old hall, & of course I’m now gossip central. All these speculations, older sisters using the meetings to make back handed comments, & I was like damn, ya’ll act like I’m not me.
So what happens when u go through things? U’re supposed to rely upon the org, including its publications. 2021, specifically the Oct 2021 WT. I read cover to cover & they talk about the 100th yr anniversary of “The Harp of God” on p. 30. As I’m reading, the pic of the book is distracting me. Mind u, I just left a KH w/ all these “spiritual gems” & I kept saying this book looks off. Sure enough, it was the revised edition of 1928, b/c the real 100 yr book is entitled “The Harp of God: Conclusive Proof That Millions Now Living Will Never Die.”
In my head, I’m like y would they not show this? Bet; I go on the internet to see if I could find this book, & sure enough a vintage store in Canada had it. I purchased that & the revised edition. Holy ish! The way The Org romanticized it, I was like this is all blasphemy & considered apostasy today.
Aight, no never mind, light gets brighter…until, the 2021 Annual Meeting. Here David Splane is once again, not only romanticizing this book, but he said something blasphemous: he said (in part) ‘Brother Russell’s work was not complete, & he wouldn’t be surprised if Brother Russell is guiding our preaching work today from heaven.’
That shook me on so many levels. Biblically this was beyond blasphemous, so after that I said OK, let me investigate. I found a site that contained ALL of JW literature since 1874. I was absolutely shocked to find out the original teachings of the Lord’s Day was:
-1799 we entered The Last Days (proven by the Great War of 1812, a true battle of the prophesied King of The North (France), & King of the South (Britain)
-1874 Jesus took His rightful place as God’s King invisibly
-There would be the great harvest work of 40 yrs culminating with the destruction of false religion & the political world in Fall of 1914.
I felt numb; but, then I went further. I researched the origin of the 2,520 teaching. I saw how one of the most infamous false prophets in American History, William Miller, came up w/ the teaching by connecting scriptures from Daniel, Jeremiah, & Revelation to come up w the mathematics of when Jesus would return. Wouldn’t u know that the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream was also taught by him, including what each part of the statue represented? Wouldn’t know that Charles Taze Russell was inspired by this math, & he felt Miller was correct, but the dates he used were wrong?
That led me to discover the fallacy of 607 BCE, not via an Apostate site, not via Wikipedia, nor The Encyclopedia…but via JW own literature & math. I came across a name in the Babylonian lineage I was unfamiliar w/, Nabonidus. Nabonidus was the last ruling King of Babylon. Looked him up in the Insight Vol. 2 & voila, there he is.
So I starts reading that he ruled from 556-539 BCE b4 Cyrus. As I kept reading, I come across another unfamiliar name, Labashi Marduk. Tried to look him up in the IT book, but nothing; so, I type him in the Online Library. Boom, another hit. This time it’s from a Jan. 1965 WT. This WT lays out all The Babylonian Kings & how long each ruled:
    Nebuchadnezzar (42 yrs)
    Evil Merodach (2 yrs)
    Neriglissar (4 yrs)
    Labashi-Marduk (less than 1 yr)
    Nabonidus (17 yrs)
So I use the dates that WT gave for Nebuchadnezzar, & Evil Merodach, and for the life of me, I could not get to Nabonidus. The WT says Nebuchadnezzar began ruling in 624 BCE, & doing the math, I was missing 17 yrs to get to Nabonidus’ start yr of 556 BCE. So I did the math going from Nabonidus to Nebuchadnezzar; well that didn’t take me to 624 BCE, but it did take me to 605 BCE. I knew what 2 Kings 25:1-14 stated, & at what junction in Nebuchadnezzar’s reign that he destroyed Babylon (his 19th yr), so that’s when I open up Wikipedia, & the Encyclopedia (the secular resource that David Splane vouched for), & when I saw that Nebuchadnezzar began ruling around early 606 BCE/late 605 BCE I just cried like a baby. I knew what that meant.
From there I checked EVERY reference WT ever published & read them in their full context, & I quickly realized whether it was the Trinity, the cross, why we don’t celebrate Christmas, they either half quoted, misquoted, or combined two separate thoughts via ellipses to make it appear as one we were being deceived. We were being told lies at worst and half truths at best. Of course we wouldn’t know this b/c we’re all conditioned to believe everything the GB say, to listen, obey, & be blessed.
I knew what I had to do; & I knew the consequences that would come. I tried to wake up my parents, but they told me I was dead to them. I mourned my losses privately, & then dissociated as an elder. Of course, many still think I did something or my ex caused this, & that’s fine; but, knowing the truth about the religion, w/ all I’ve lost including dirt pour on my name by former “friends” I’m 10000% happier & healthier today than I ever was.
Had some great experiences in the religion, & I’ll always love those who I got to know, but once u’re off the hamster wheel, u feel alive.
    Proud of u.

Look up the definition of “Apostate.” Lol. U might be shocked. Also, what I realized is Apostate Lies are any who doesn’t agree w/ their theology, & more importantly, it’s from their own literature. Lol.
There’s a reason y they limit what rank & file JWs can read on their site, & there’s also a reason y they’ve gone digital. One former member have caught them making slight changes to the older literature found online vs. hard copies.
It’s all a scam bro; it’s a former publishing company turned real estate conglomerate disguised as a religion to reap the tax, & servitude benefits. However, we have most of our lives to make up for the lost time spent. Better to know now than to be in ur 80’s & knowing u wasted ur entirety to this.

This video has helped me so much. And this organization broke my family. I couldn’t spend time with my dying grandfather at Christmas or at his precious birthdays. My parents have essentially wanted me out of their house since I was 18 (I’m 20 now) when I told them I’m not participating anymore, even though they themselves don’t participate either, showing how far the indoctrination really goes. The congregation members are even against me and are with them, that I should be out in a homeless shelter so I don’t influence my siblings, crazy stuff. All the constant changing in teachings isn’t what I need, I need stability and much like you I am going to rebuild myself, and live an infinitely more satisfying life with my partner ❤ thank you so much for this video thanom.

@@ThanomJEven though it's hard when u leave 4 all different reasons..... it's also beautiful when u actually wake up.
Sometimes that feeling gets lost in all the madness(P.T.S.D)
Only when u reflect bk 2 the painful time,u then remember.
2 realize how strong we've all been in leaving blows me away EVERY SINGLE TIME.
      Sending u pure positive energy ✨ luv🫶🏼 'n'🕯️light

Real respect man. I'm 33 and went to my last meeting in February when my marriage blew up also. I'm very lucky to still have my parents but realistically I've lost all my friends.

If humans can do something as amazing as sending messages from the moon to Earth, then it's definitely possible that God can send messages to us too. And that's basically what the Bible is - a message from God to help His Children live their best lives.
Think of it like this: humans have achieved some incredible things, like landing on the moon, but we're still not perfect and we make mistakes. God, on the other hand, is all-knowing and all-powerful, so it makes sense that He could communicate with us in a way that's even more amazing than our achievements.
The Bible is like a guidebook or a manual for life, written by God to help us navigate the ups and downs and make good choices. It's like having a direct message from the creator of the universe, telling us how to live our lives in a way that's pleasing to Him and good for us.
So, it's like, if we can do cool things like moon messages and Ai Intelligence, imagine what God can do! He can definitely send us messages and guide us on our journey in Life.

Respectfully disagree, the Bible has so many contradictions. If it truly was God's manual , then why is it so open to misinterpretation. If you looked at it from an entirely objective standpoint, it's incredibly misogynist, it's morality is questionable, and it's literally the cause of homophobia and the discrimination of a significant part of humanity. It's highly likely that it's been changed by man over the years. There are so many variables that believing it's fully the word of God and not to be questioned, you would have to be willfully ignorant.

Congratulations on getting out. Enjoy your life to its fullest. One tip that helped me make some new friends was through Meet Up groups which uses your hobbies and interests to find people of a similar nature. I joined a film group, a creative writing group and met some lovely people that I'm still friends with (I've been out 27 years) This world is large and has so many interesting places, people and things to go and see, I hope you use your youth to explore it and you have a wonderful long and happy life

Thank you, your video has been very insightful. I’m a witness (PIMO) and many people I’ve listened to have said, that they no longer believe in God. I think that’s the saddest thing to come from the house of lies, that the organization has been built on. Best wishes to you.
