This is one of my favorite case designs (along with a classic dial with furnace blued hands) for a dress watch. I enjoy the contrast between case and movement on the caseback (and a 5-8 day power reserve is on my bucket list)!
That movement is not good looking architecturally nor well finished. I’d rather have a closed case back over an open case back on a movement like this any day of the week. Glad that Cartier no longer does open case backs.
