Hello. I'm from Ukraine. Thank you very much for your support! I have been riding unicycles since 2016 and a few days ago I was chasing a russian saboteur across the fields on my Z10 (ninebot). It was the saddest and slowest chase in the galaxy )) But I caught him! So I started looking at other unicycles (more off-road) and you helped me. Thank you )
Since there are 7 (?) holes for the suspension linkage on the frame one can tune it quite a bit, maybe a middle setting will be optimal for most folks instead of just highest vs lowest, there's probably an optimal point where the pedal height gives you a good center point of gravity together with good suspension travel but that's also going to depend on rider weight and sag, for some people it will make sense to change the spring to fit their weight and then tune the suspension height. Regarding the klonk, from the video it looks like you are pushing the pads hard and torquing the wheel just before it dips and then after that the sound is there when it corrects itself, the clonk could be magnet skipping or realigning.
Great video Adam, so nice to see you have your vibe and enthusiasm back. Also nice to see you enjoying the S20, I really hope KS take on your and Chance from Watts Single Track improvement ideas.
Nice to know about those 3 screws!! Anyway ,I did demo test on this wheel and it hit 75kph when I looked down and I was sure I slowed down a bit at that time !...I did on Sherman 87kph...so hitting top speed is nothing new for me....nice tips for this wheel ! Can't wait to get mine myself !
I just installed the Michelin Pilot on an MSX and Inmotion v11. Best street tire ever! Amazing grip, and super smooth. And, almost the same price as the Chinese tires. Would love to see this on your wheel.
I think suspension was topping out- you’d need to have it set up so you have equal travel up and down to avoid it completely -so don’t have full on or off but midway.
So to summarise, 3 suspension adjustments areas: suspension geometry ?5? settings, can help with different rider weights, so a spring replacement can be held off(or finely adjusted) shock adjustments *3 preload, rebound and compression setting knobs, set 1/4th suspension movement on rider ingress, tune rebound to prevent pogo sticking then compression for ride feel. pedal height 2 settings, preference
It is very nice to see the support of the Ukrainian people from our neighbors. Especially from a like-minded person from the unicycle sect. Thank, Wrngw!
I enjoy watching your videos, thank you. It occurs to me that a parameter that is important is the motor power to battery capacity ratio. For illustrative purposes, consider a very small motor and a very big battery. There would be no need for cutouts, but the device would be unrideable. Conversely, consider a very powerful motor attached to a very small battery. The batteries would explode, or the protective circuit would cutout on the first attempt to brake. There would be nowhere for the kinetic energy to go. I would like to see supercapacitors between the motor and batteries to absorb and dissipate sudden surges in current. I do hope that the engineers offer guidance with a decent manual on how to optimise the wheel. And a clearly enunciated design philosophy for a deeper understanding about what is being attempted to achieve. As a Saxon, a Rhodesian and an old warrior with no horse in the conflict, allow me to say that the Very Last thing we need is a fair fight between the Russians and the Ukrainians. I wish a speedy and decisive resolution to this brother war. Neither side have clean hands.
Yeah! I think about spare battery region, or big capacitors, yes. Something to achieve redundancy, to prevent cutoff situation. Completely true about war.
I totally think that Wrong Way could use his amazing EUC ability to help the Ukranian people move supplies. I've seen it on reddit , people not nearly as seasoned as wrongway on an EUC taking to the frontlines defending territory and helping supply the effort. I'm sure he didn't know but - it seems like the best way to really support the movement. By actually getting out there. Flying the flag is a nice safe gesture tho.

Its also interesting how your wheel is behaving with stairs since I've seen so many others climb stairs with this wheel like its nothing.

I cant help but think the clunk is something similar to what Ive seen some folks manipulate in a few videos with no stairs required. One rider was trying to bring attention to it, but it was hard to understand what they were saying and didnt explain anymore, but it looked like he was just bursting torque on it and it surprised him. Another rider explained in a group call that they even learned to use it (although didnt recommend doing this because it felt like the wheel was about to fail, but doesn't) to gain momentum right before he pitted it against a sherman in a downtown city environment. Neither of them have brought it up again, yet, but i dont think they are done creating content on it.

Given everything I knew about this wheel and then hearing WW complain about the torque, I had suspected they throttled down in the firmware so that absolutely no cutouts would happen. Kuji Rolls got his s20 a long time ago and he experienced a cutout, so maybe this was a response to that. But then maybe they adjusted the settings again in the latest firmware now that they know a little more about the wheel. I'm sure just one cutout could mean thousands of lost sales.

The S20 still has Hall sensor. You just won't faceplant on the S20 if the Hall sensor fails. Other wheels - game over if the Hall sensor fails while you are riding.

Can’t wait to get my hands (and feet) on my S20! Already got some new grip power pads coming from Mono Customize that hopefully are better than the stock S20 pads.
I'm really interested in the range you'll get at this suspension setting. Even though I'm still not convinced this might be a better buy for my workhorse/cruising/only wheel use case compared to a SherMax. Also, a really long term durability check would be interesting on this wheel. Especially for the hanging suspension system.
@@mr_wrongway I’m running at below 20 on the EXN, I find it feels so bad otherwise with the knobby. It doesn’t bottom out but maybe I’m losing top end speed?
First thing i want to say to you Adam is in my opinion you are the leading authority when it comes to EUCology. Not only do you push the boundries of their intended use but you also explore unintended methods and riding styles and equipment configurations to bring fellow EUC enthusiasts the most comprehensive outlook out there. so thank you for that. And now: You mentioned something about safety measures taken by KingSong that were better than Inmotion... and what i am most curious about is what your take is on the S20 fire in NY a week or so ago. do you think it was just a fluke? or do you think there is a hidden design flaw that could show up randomly on the production S20s that are soon to be released? also do you think that the fire is going to delay the release of first batch production units? i know that you are not super fond of the S20 for various reasons but im glad that you continue to explore ways to make it more appealing, such as researching alternative suspension geometry options. after the NY fire i seriously considered withdrawing my preorder deposit to go a different route. more in the begode direction. (EX 2.0S) simply because i want to eliminate all range anxiety and i want a good platform to mod and develop after market accesories with and the EX 2.0S looks like a good candidate. plus it uses tried, true & tested 100V technology. im curious if the suspension geometry is modifiable on that wheel as well or how easy it would be to drill and tap some holes to accomodate it. I do plan on getting a couple different shock options to swap out. Anyways im just kind of rambling on but to anyone that has read this far give some thought on this stuff.
hey I had a question when you say the nylenove pads where way to big was this with the normale or the big version? because it would be great if those customizable one would fit the S22. thanks
This will be my first EUC as I don't want to waste my money, also I can't help to buy the best from reviews. however with the latest issues with the battery, I'll wait until the full production version comes out.
So is this the best new wheel? I like my MSP, but it starts beeping on me at 17mph. I really want somethin much faster and I probably like/need some torque and suspension because I am a very heavy rider. I'm nearly 100% street rider tho. I was also looking at VS Max or RS19 HS... How would you compare?
I always recognize and appreciate your analytical prospective. We are of the same mind in recognizing the small details that others usually cannot identify. Well done! May I ask your opinion on something, as a first wheel V11 vs S20 for a slim 66kg, 177cm tall, and a 81cm waist size with no bow leg, would the S20 be too wide and top heavy for myself?
Adam, now that you got your likes - which street tire are you putting on? Would love to see the CST C6004 - I have heard a lot of great things about it. Better than the H666 and lighter than the Michelin moto tires (so I've been told). Really encouraged by the feedback from the new FW. The S20 fire in NYC on 3/26 is concerning though. I hope we get good details about it and there aren't critical flaws that need to be addressed.
Hey! I also live in Warsaw and I'm considering buying V11 for a first EUC. Do you think it makes sense to go all in and start with S20? I have already few years experience with Evolve and OneWheel
Honestly I've had many EUC's and started on OW and think it's a bad idea to get a suspension euc as your first. Literally anything else not suspension and not bigger than 16 inches IMO
Why don’t you I don’t know maybe go watch UStrides or Hsiang videos on it to find out what happened from the people who were actually there. Crazy to actually want to hear the info directly from the people involved.
Kingsong nanrobot why do they give these pevs these names? Can some one tell me? And thank you for supporting Ukraine! My grandfather came from Ukraine After ww2 n my grandmother came from Poland after ww2. So I'm loving what Poland is doing for Ukrainians!
Yo! So, at this point do you still have the pre-production S20 or the production S22? I’m looking forward to your upcoming mini/long review. Your content has been extremely helpful as I enter the EUC world. My production S22 ‘should’ be shipping air from KS sometime this week if they stick to what they told me. Stoke level is high!
Hell yea. I think KS really had a lot to address on this wheel before the disastrous fire and now I’m 85% sure I’ll cancel my preorder and at least wait a few batches before I buy one.

Can’t wait to get my hands (and feet) on my S20! Already got some new grip power pads coming from Mono Customize that hopefully are better than the stock S20 pads.
Am I the only one to have a bad feeling when I hear Adam saying "50 ... 60 ..." ? great review Adam, thanks!
I also have a bad feeling then!
Adam, thanks, great vid, but please could you change compression of it, artefacts on 4K display are HUGE
I tried a new setting of the Insta360 with a color plus mode. It’s very contrasty…I’ll try some other options, thanks for the feedback
What tire pressure?
I didn’t check for a while. I’d say around 30-35 now probably
@@mr_wrongway I’m running at below 20 on the EXN, I find it feels so bad otherwise with the knobby. It doesn’t bottom out but maybe I’m losing top end speed?
@@SwitchUpYt ya that friction is going to also cut down on range, plus the rim dent potential
@@TechMan042 Feels so good though
First thing i want to say to you Adam is in my opinion you are the leading authority when it comes to EUCology. Not only do you push the boundries of their intended use but you also explore unintended methods and riding styles and equipment configurations to bring fellow EUC enthusiasts the most comprehensive outlook out there. so thank you for that. And now:
You mentioned something about safety measures taken by KingSong that were better than Inmotion... and what i am most curious about is what your take is on the S20 fire in NY a week or so ago. do you think it was just a fluke? or do you think there is a hidden design flaw that could show up randomly on the production S20s that are soon to be released? also do you think that the fire is going to delay the release of first batch production units? i know that you are not super fond of the S20 for various reasons but im glad that you continue to explore ways to make it more appealing, such as researching alternative suspension geometry options. after the NY fire i seriously considered withdrawing my preorder deposit to go a different route. more in the begode direction.
I`m from Ukraine! Thank You!
Awesome info and great content
Great video Mr Wrongway! How difficult was it to change the tire?
Hello. I would say usual EUC difficulty. Tons of screws and best to do with another person helping
hey I had a question when you say the nylenove pads where way to big was this with the normale or the big version? because it would be great if those customizable one would fit the S22. thanks
Ja zawsze na wysokości 👍🇺🇦
Awesome vid my dude..
How much Nm of torque is a good level. I'm hearing my new V12HT will have 188Nm. This seems excessive. 👏. I hope so.
Flip flopper! Make up your mind! 🤣😂🤣
Finally 💯💯🎊🔋 the beast review 🤘🏻👏🏻
This will be my first EUC as I don't want to waste my money, also I can't help to buy the best from reviews. however with the latest issues with the battery, I'll wait until the full production version comes out.
So is this the best new wheel? I like my MSP, but it starts beeping on me at 17mph. I really want somethin much faster and I probably like/need some torque and suspension because I am a very heavy rider. I'm nearly 100% street rider tho. I was also looking at VS Max or RS19 HS... How would you compare?
?
Hi Adam ! I need a go-to wheel capable to maintain its maximum speed during 30km. Is that possible with the S20? Thank for your answer 😄
Hello, I don’t know, I didn’t test that yet. Probably better on a Sherman
awesome....
Where are there directions for the suspension mod? How hard is it?
Many thanks for your commentary!
Did they upgrade the P.O.S kick stand?
Can you tell me the website where I can get modifications for my king song?
I always recognize and appreciate your analytical prospective. We are of the same mind in recognizing the small details that others usually cannot identify. Well done! May I ask your opinion on something, as a first wheel V11 vs S20 for a slim 66kg, 177cm tall, and a 81cm waist size with no bow leg, would the S20 be too wide and top heavy for myself?
Ask Duf.
Adam how did you configure the suspension?
fast rebound?
Yes fast rebound but I also changed geometry
Yeah, I really want the S-18
Adam, now that you got your likes - which street tire are you putting on? Would love to see the CST C6004 - I have heard a lot of great things about it. Better than the H666 and lighter than the Michelin moto tires (so I've been told). Really encouraged by the feedback from the new FW. The S20 fire in NYC on 3/26 is concerning though. I hope we get good details about it and there aren't critical flaws that need to be addressed.
Did you see the fire through to the end?
How could there NOT be a critical flaw, if your 3.100€ wheel sprays fire like a silvester rocket on crack?
Love your videos. Really great info. Do you know if you will be getting your hands on the inmotion V12 high torque edition? Any thoughts on it?
It’ll be sent out out soon to me. Might become my favourite
@@mr_wrongway Such a speedy reply! Thanks! I look forward to the video.
Hi ! great video as always ! any reason why you removed the stand on the back of the wheel ?
It broke the first time the wheel fell
7:10 that torque is insane lol
Damn, the tread on that stock tire looked nice! Sad to hear it's shit 😩 one thing I liked on the s18 was the suspension pieces were a great handle!
3rd time recording a review video, hopefully nothing goes wrong! . . . *fly stuck in camera lens* 🤣
Thats actually my broken lens, it’s cracked
Freedomride! Thanks fro standing with Ukraine! World will be free from tyrrany
Bonjour et bienvenue à mauuuvaiiis chemin!!!!
What brand are the power pads your using? Also thanks for all your content. Its awesome
What are your torque pads called? The ones you got on the s20 look nice
Sad to hear about the S20 fire in New York.. Any ideas why it went bang when U-Stride was riding it?
Why don’t you I don’t know maybe go watch UStrides or Hsiang videos on it to find out what happened from the people who were actually there. Crazy to actually want to hear the info directly from the people involved.
Nice cover-flag) Hi from Ukraine, Dnipro)
Thanks for the flag, man! 🇺🇦
Kingsong nanrobot why do they give these pevs these names? Can some one tell me? And thank you for supporting Ukraine! My grandfather came from Ukraine After ww2 n my grandmother came from Poland after ww2. So I'm loving what Poland is doing for Ukrainians!
That Damn Fly AGAIN!!
In your opinion, how's the breaking?
Can you share the instructions for modifying the geometry?
So, after the massive S20 fire in New York in the last few days going slowly - does that change anyone’s mind?
Hell yea. I think KS really had a lot to address on this wheel before the disastrous fire and now I’m 85% sure I’ll cancel my preorder and at least wait a few batches before I buy one.
Fire? I can't find anything on this, could you provide any source for the info
@@MutantDoctor search EUC Serbia s20 caught fire video. YTuber Hsiang from NYC s20 caught fire while YTuber U-Stride was riding it, they said they are putting out a video this Friday. It’s true, unfortunately.

@@wutruriding1355 just saw it, that was a pretty quick and fast fire but pretty scary nonetheless. wonder what caused it
EUCs are evolving into specialized machines. Reviewing a Jeep by running it around city streets wouldn't be much of a review. A few grassy city park hills don't count. Same with mountain bikes, motorcycles ,ect. Take this in mind when reviewing EUCs going forward
500 likes ?? you have 280 likes in 15 minutes mate... Good work.
What was the cost of the upgrades and if you do decide to change tire again to street tire please put brand
Adam looks like superhero with that gear and flag cloak! I believe this has been asked million times but what would be your recommendation of EUC for beginner that is a heavier person (115kg) who enjoys comfort and does not feel like there is a need to go top speed where roads are mostly tarmac, gravel and sand with even to moderately uneven surface?
I wanted to get an ECU,but I got discouraged, because I found out that these stuffs are banned here in UK...so when I come back home in LA imma get one......
Yo friend ! When the s20 comes to shop ? Im from LV !
Btw, did you have no load speed test after new firmware?
No load speed is purely Hardware limited.
@@TheThunderwars I don't understand by hardware limited ..
@@sby1076 ?
@@TheThunderwars just simply carry the wheel and let it spin til cut out
@@sby1076 it is not coded into the software. It is the hardware (motherbord/motor) that limits the no-load speed.
