I ordered and received your kit. Took me about 2 years to get around installing it as it seemed complicated. Installed the kit with just a few difficulties especially that tiny spring that goes behind the safety. Absolutely love what it's done to the gun and I feel good about myself being able to do it. It really did add to the cool factor of the gun and range day was very enjoyable. Thank you so very much.

Mark I am so glad you installed the SFS in my Hi Power it is without a doubt a great system and gives peace of mind over carrying cocked and locked.

Hey Mark, Excellent presentation, I learned a lot! BTW, there was no mention of the "Half-Cocked" alternative, which is the method that I have found to be most comfortable when carrying my BHP - I can carry in Condition 1, and not have that awkward catching of the hammer on clothing.

A lot of militaries still carry the BHP, this would be good kit to install on all of them. Most will not allow cocked and locked because of the snagging and impact fears. Maybe secure yourself a contract?

#16 🤯. A great point to make with consideration to CQB. You sold me on the sfs system with these two videos. Thank you I’ll be in touch.

Do we live in a weird World indeed. I actually became interested in the BHP *after* learning about the SFS kit! Because here in Argentina, FN weapons (FAL, HP's, etc) have been built under license and supervision for decades. The "Supervision" part is the key here, you do something wrong, and you get your license revoked and your guns can no longer be named as such - ask FEG, from Hungary, maybe they could say a thing or two about that.
The latest HP models built here, in their compact versions, called "Detective", come with the SFS kit installed. This kit, created by the company RDIH, was an idea of a former FN employee.
And thus, the first thing I did when I came across an HP, was to purchase an SFS kit right there at that same store that same moment, serendipity you may say, because that gunshop was the one that decades ago was approached by RDIH to begin comercializing the SFS kit to civilians in Argentina *before* they talked to the BHP's factory's management.
Now I'm the proud and very happy owner of 5+ HP's, some Belgian, some Argentinian, if there're differences, then they managed to hide themselves extremely well, since I disassembled them quite a few times for maintenance... or installation of yet another SFS kit, like the one I just purchased from you not a month ago along with the BHSpring Solutions optimizing kit - haha!
Oh and I watched these two videos as I was having dinner while making a pause on said work. Which, I believe, would lead you to utter the very first phrase I began this message with - hahaha!! :-)
Thanks for the video, keep up the amazing work and may you all have a great day!

You guys are doing some great work. However, I have never had the problem with the spur hammer, which I prefer, catching on clothing in concealed carry. I've carried a cocked and locked BHP for 11 years, so far, essentially every waking hour of the day. One thing about the SFS. For me, the great advantage of the SFS would be the possibility of carrying it in a minimalist trigger guard, kydex/string holster, but still being completely at the ready if the need should arise. Otherwise, I think you need to go to half-cock, or empty chamber, for safety's sake when doing a "Zach" trigger guard/string holster, and of course, that would be less than desirable from a readiness standpoint. I have never explored the possibility of an SFS + Zach trigger guard/string holster, but it has certainly crossed my mind. Thanks again for your great work.

I was trained to the carry the HP with the hammer dropped on a loaded Chamber, cocking with left thumb to make ready. Safe and fast. The pistol has a half cock to make the process of dropping the hammer safer.

thanks for the great video. I would like to know would the SFS Kit work for a FEG Hi-Power?

Thanks ,I went to the range the other day, took my Glock 23 with 9mm conversion barrel, my Kahr K9(my carry Pistol) and my FEG HiPower. After shooting 200 rounds between them, It dawned on me ,the Hi-power should be the one I carry. That's when I went on a search to find out how to get it into carrying shape. That's when I came across your TH-cam video. Besides the SFS system what else do you recommend to get it into carry shape?

      Hello Andremax77,
What I have added to my carry Arcus (HiPower clone), besides the SFS kit is the combat trigger from C&S and a picatinny rail. One note though - the combat trigger doesn't have the magazine disconnect capabilities, so you need to consider this from legal point of view. The Picatinny rail makes the HiPower a great Home Defense gun. You can attach a laser/flashlight combo before putting it on the nightstand and remove it (if your holster doesn't allow you to care it that way) before putting it in the EDC holster.

Thanks Mark for the informative response. The combat trigger interests me, Losing the magazine disconnect is ok because I always check the chamber after ejecting the mag. How do you like the Arcus HiPower and whats the average price for one.

Will this system work with the BHP .40 S&W?
