A dealer left my cap off and after I replaced i put it back on my brakes started going to the floor. Did I do damage? Or did I just lose a lot of fluid? They were fine until I put the cap back on
Finally I found such a great video which explains it all clearly. Thank you so much. This really helps with road safety much more than our dumb government ads on TV which teach nothing, or worse !!
I've got a issue, 03 zr2 customer wanted front brakes change. But needed more. Replaced. Calipers rubber lines, the booster was bad so put one on it, master cylinder as well. Change the abs cause smelled burnt. Bled this truck 6 times with my air bleeder still have no pedal pressure. Any advice
how could a booster going bad cause brake pedal to go to the floor? And if you disconnect vacuum it should be hard as heck to push brake pedal - no assistance from booster
I have a 90 300zx with the break pedal going to the floor alsk just lose all the break fuid, i haven't check anything yet but any suggestions will appreciated. Thank you

If the fluid is low it could also mean that the brake pads are low so you should check that too

Did he ever answer u cause i was wondering same thing unhook brake boster vacumm that hook up vacumm from brake booster ????
Because the booster leaks it won't push the piston..the air blader is powerful...meaning the peddle has nothing to push...

Did you fix it? What was the issue?
You obviously have a leak and should at least check that which is clearly stated in the video.
People ask for help before even making any effort and they don't even come back to share any knowledge !! Wow..
Try to find a crustier vehicle next time.
