I agree, Naples was the home port for the aircraft carrier I was on for a couple of years in the 1970's it was bad then. I did not think it would have got any better. It got to a point I would not go ashore when I had the chance. The boat was clean, the port sucked. Worse is Egypt, I got off to go see the Pyramids, my buddy and I hired a guy that said he was a tour guide. Took us to a couple of pyramids, a tour of the underground grave sites mile's long. At end of tour took us to a slum area where his buddies tried to mug us. Luckily, a couple of cops were standing on the corner and we were able to approach them and they scared of the would be muggers. But we were still lost in the city. My Mom and Dad went 10 years later and enjoyed their experience... money talks..

Dude. Have you been to NYC? Or come here to Hollywood in filthy Los Angeles. What about San Francisco? Seriously. Even from what you filmed the city is pristine in comparison to the above mentioned third-world cities here in the US.
Maybe if you knew what the Palazzo Pamphili or the Galleria Borghese were, instead of calling Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces "old buildings with holes in the walls" you'd have whole new appreciation for Rome. But you need to first know things in order to understand them.
If you were looking for the Vegas version of Rome, or for a Disneyland, you'll surely be disappointed as those places are for the unsophisticated traveler.

Sicily is on the other hand though, full of garbage. Especially around Catania - we were shocked driving from the airport through a suburban to the east coast. People didn’t seem to bother either. I’ve separated our trash though and have thrown it away in the accurate bins. Not contributing to the garbage-problem.

@@ona_tzar The joke... you've been to 30 countries and Italy is the dirtiest. Just utter/BS...And I didn't make up that ranking, NOW show your stats verifying your claim. NO WHERE in Italy are their cities even REMOTELY as bad as in the US.

🤣 Is that how _you_ work? You expect to see movie sets when traveling? I think you should visit the city of Paris and the mountains of trash they have over there. And don't tell me you've been to Paris already because if you did, you wouldn't have written such comment, especially because the Amalfi Coast is way filthier than the worst peripheral hood of Rome. Therefore you're just as trustworthy as the man from this video who clearly never traveled in his life.

@@CptnObvious This guy is calling Renaissance palaces and Baroque masterpieces "old buildings with holes in them". Nothing brilliant in that if not a person who knows nothing of art, architecture and history.
Also, Rome is spotless clean compared to Hollywood (where I live). And NYC. And San Francisco. Try any of these big American cities and you'll know the definition of a dirty city with the addition of meth addicts and crack users defecating on our sidewalks day and night.
This video is a clickbait like some people have said in other comments.
