This beautifully presented Swan 48 was purchased in 2014 by her current owners, a family from Italy who chose this yacht as the best they could possibly find to sail around the world in safety and comfort with their very young children.

I know very well the current owner, he is a great sailor and has kept the boat with great passion and competence, I have had two Swan 48, sistership of her, I have had beautiful cruises with friends and family but it is also very competitive in the race

Thank you Fabio! The surveyor who inspected the boat was extremely impressed! So am I! She pretty much represents everything one could wish for in a cruising yacht. Fast, pedigree, incredibly well built, comfortable and seaworthy. I can't believe she has sailed the Everest of the sea (Cape Horn). Not a blemish to show for it. A credit to her owner and builder.

We wish to correct a very big mistake in our voice over as we learnt this morning that the map on the wall in the saloon does actually show the whole voyage! The owner (very humbly) never mentioned the true extent of his travels on board the magnificent Swan 48 E2. This beautifully presented Swan 48 was purchased in 2014 by her current owners, a family from Italy who chose this yacht as the best they could possibly find to sail around the world in safety and comfort with their very young children. With this yacht, the owners sailed 4 oceans, rounded Cape Horn, explore Patagonia and sailed extensively from high to low latitudes. The boat, to her designer and the owner's credit, does not show any blemish for it. Incredible yacht by an incredible designer and one of the best builders in the world. A true heirloom and a must-see if you are a true lover of magnificent boats.

@@scottd7615 they do this so that the skipper is not impeded by guests wanting to relax in the main cockpit.
Inside, the second companionway communicates with the owner's cabin. The ladder is removable so does not get in the way when not in use.
