Just found your podcast and have been binge-listening ever since. The podcast combined with your videos are invaluable! I'm trying to absorb as much info as possible. I'm getting ready for my first off-shore sailing trip, a 6 day trip down the west coast of U.S. (pacific ocean). The non-stop portion starts in Neah Bay and we end up in Santa Cruz. My trip is on someone else's boat, but we (my family) are looking to replace our previous boats with a larger one (roughly 40' to 44'). Just wanted to say that the more I learn from your podcast and videos the more I have to readjust my view on what a good boat really looks like. And more importantly I'm learning a TON of good habits and ideas. A big thank you to both Andy and Mia for sharing so much with everyone!
I´d LOVE to go sailing with you some day! But dare i? Furler? No hank on sails anymore? Can we rely on furlers all of a sudden? Beautiful boat and i really love your discipline and sense for elegant simplicity! Keep up!

I sailed the west coast of Sweden, for a week with my Icelandic/Swedish better half, & yep, loved it to the max! By the way, is an "appropriate" name good enuf for your "dreamboat"? Names carry a lot of "weight" esp in a sail cruiser, no? I'm building my dream sail cruiser in Key Largo. What do you think of the name Contrology? 🙏👌
