Oh wow! This is awesome to see. So glad you pulled this back out. It recently made it back to my table with a few upgrades. I just redid all of the hero cards using Terrinoth heroes so that might heroes are now all miniatures (from Descent and Runebound). Plus I was able to generate maybe 14 separate heroes which really adds to the excitement and variability. I have Star Shield and spend to get that to the table but, first, I just have to beat the original scenarios. I just passed #3 by the skin if my teeth so I am off to the dwarves mines in the near future.
That was a hell of a game! On the edge of my seat at the end there. I always love how games like this tell such a great story in between the puzzle aspects!
Well this was an amazing video. I always find Legends of Andor so amazingly exciting. I know a lot of people say it's dull cause it's a puzzle instead of an adventure, but I find it an amazing amalgamation of story, puzzle aspects and yet still feeling like you're in a full blown fantasy world. It always reminded me of the old rpgs with turn based combat, resting, planning what to do ahead, things usable once a day, the spending time to do stuff... it brings fond memories. I would love to see more playthroughs of this game. I don't own it, so it makes the playthroughs doubly valuable to me. Thank you!

At 42:37 the card for the prince said his location was the sum of all the numbers on the parchments. You only revealed the one with "10." I don't think his location was spot 10, but how do you reveal the other two pieces of parchment to find out his location?
Speaking of older games, care if you could do some playthrough about Defenders of the realm? I just purchased it and played 3 times already but the game keeps kicking me in the ass😂 Not sure if that game is your cup of tea though😁😁😁
@@OneStopCoopShop I was thinking you might need all 3 scrolls, get their sum, which then gives the location of the prince? But I don't know, I only play Andor on iPad and don't have this module.
@@OneStopCoopShop True, but what will you then do when the 2nd scroll is revealed? Or when the 3rd scroll is revealed? The rules you read out said the prince is revealed at the SUM of the scrolls, not just the value of just the first scroll. The way you've played it seems too easy, and ignores subsequent scrolls, doesn't it? And I would not call one number a SUM; for a SUM you need more than one number, by definition.

Great stuff as always Colin. Quick question, I'm hesitant on buying the Dark Heroes pack. Do they bring different styles of gameplay that radically change from the regular ones? Though I think the regular heroes are fine, they're a bit bland after a few games. Cheers again.
This is Mike, not Colin, but just to let you know, my Last Hope review contains a quick ending mini-review on the dark heroes. I thought they were fun, and do change things up enough to be worth the cost. I certainly enjoyed them more than the Last Hope, which is a mess :)
Correct me if I'm wrong but the wolf's friend is the hero who tames the wolf. I don't think that can be transferred. And only the wolf's friend can move the wolves.
@@OneStopCoopShop No. But when you spent time units in order to move the wolves, I think you spent it from the male hero's time. Only Forr could spend her time to move them. Again, I could be wrong.
38:31: Heroes will use the black die instead of rolling their normal hero dice. In other words, the black dice replace ALL of the hero dice
Okay, this is REALLY funny. Without knowing that you started a playthrough on Legends of Andor, I JUST pulled it off my shelf to start playing myself.

Yup wolf friend never moved, that was always the same person. Only thing that moved was the key, I believe you can share the key. Do you disagree?
