Great to see The Mandalorian Adventures so high in your list. Did not know the publisher had extra content on the website, so thanks, will check it out.
Really enjoying (and struggling with) Keep The Heroes Out: Boss Battles. The scenarios are very tough and require several attempts to get through. But unlocking tons of new monsters is such a big win. Plus, the best improvement has been rookies. It's a huge addition to the game and addresses some of the balance issues.
I sold everything for KtHO once my Boss Battles expansion came in (never opened the expansion). I love the look of the game (the meeples are awesome) but the gameplay loop really bored me. The Boss Battles aspect would have helped a bit (as would have the rookies making for a better balance of difficulty, easy too easy while normal felt too swingy) but just not enough to save it.
Such an informative summary! My main take-away is that I can wait with Sky Team: Turbulence. I've been having a blast with the base game, sounds like there's no rush to get the expansion. Thanks for putting this list together.
Great list Mike. I am personally ranking Primal way higher! Your playthrough of The Night Cage Expansion made me buy the game + exp. I only played the base game 10 times and still did not feel the need to use the new elements except the updated setup , which had made the game much better.
@ the tile placement is super engaging and the lights / lights out mechanism is so simple and great. That combined with the limited time/wax and tense atmosphere really work out well.
For Rome FoaE the combat is the one weak link in the game. It's not much reward, and unless you are playing the character that spawns enemies (Marcus?) or have the barbarian edict, you can pretty much ignore them. I made a house rule for "normal" difficulty where at the end of each round enemies spawn adjacent to existing ones towards the capital, if they reach the capital you lose. You also lose the victory points for each one on a development card if they are still there at the end of the game. But, if you defeat one on a development you get +1 gold to what's listed on their token.
Depends on the locations and developments too. Like if you get the one that involves the enemy attack bonus near a bunch of super powerful enemies you can earn a ton of gold
@OneStopCoopShop for sure, that does bring up the other thing though that you need the military/combat AP to build those developments that give you attack bonus, so it's kinda like you need to already be purchasing advanced cards with that AP in order to further get access to that AP. You tend to either snowball into the military/combat AP or you pretty much forgo it.
@@OneStopCoopShop I tried it but for my first games. I had a hard time because I think I need to play more multi games un order to really understand the game. Also there's so much characters to play I don't really know where to start. But I'll give myself more time to understand it.
Assault on Doomrock is a bit too hard for my taste...I've tried 15 times or so and never even reached act 3. Not alone, not alone with 2 or 3 heroes, not multiplayer with 2 friends... Even trying strats from bgg or reddit...nothing. I'm debating wheter to sell it or not
@OneStopCoopShop ultimate edition, but not using easy mode, nor the super abilities. I don't like using easy modes or extra buffs, even when losing.. I own everything from LotR LCG and I'm used to the extra difficult scenarios you encounter in some of its cycles, but you can always find a solution either in deck building or in the scenario approach, and see improvements until you manage to win. I feel like AoD instead doesn't let you find a good strat..
@OneStopCoopShop ahahah ! On a more serious tone, I like to think myself as an "avid" boardgamer and, yet, Primeval Peril is the only game I've played in your list so far ! But I want to play "Star Trek: CC" though! I should have received it in december but obviously I did not 😞
Keep in mind that's just these Bullet EXPANSIONS. If you are talking about the core Bullet game, that one is in my top 10 OF ALL TIME, so it still gets all my love. As for Urbion, I haven't played it, and Fantasy Form was just okay for me. It would not crack the top 40.

I didn’t know either until some discord members pointed it out. I printed one of the new scenarios to play this weekend. Looks fun!

I agree, Rookies have completely changed the game for the better!

Yes, no hurry at all I'd say. It'll still be waiting, and super cheap, when you play through all the base game content.
Great list. So many good options!
Nice list and enjoyable video. Love your work, Mike.
Thank you so much!
Thanks Mike. Happy New year.
Same to you, Kevin!
Thanks for the love Mike! Happy new year!

Thank you for the shoutout =D
Great job on the expansion!
thanks😊
6 hours for dawn of madness? :D last 4 player game we had was 16 hours :D however still my favorite gaming session in 2024
Definitely faster playing solo 😅

I recently received my Bullet Kickstarter. What a great game : mutli or solo.
Glad you are enjoying it too :)

@@yantremblay-cote2597 yeah, that makes sense. Without any multiplayer experience it can be tough to figure out.
Hopefully they get Ashes Reborn core box reprinted soon. Has been out for several weeks.
Oh no, that sucks! I didn't realize it was out of stock.
WOOHOO DIESON CRUSOE!!!!
For some reason, you mislabeled Deep Rock for your number 33 game. 🙃
Haha, yeah, it was too late to fix it when it was pointed out 😭

I semi-punted, since the rest of the list will be up 1/2 :)
