Sunrise at Tynemouth Priory

This is Drone footage taken with a DJI Mini 4 Pro at Sunrise at Tynemouth Priory.
Bit of history Tynemouth Priory and Castle is located on a cliff at the mouth of the Tyne . The medieval Benedictine priory was protected by walls, towers, and a gatehouse. The heraldry of the metropolitan borough of North Tyneside includes three crowns commemorating the three kings who have been buried in the priory. It has also been used as Barracks for coastal defence and the gun placements are still there. More recently within the grounds was a Coastguard station however now decommissioned awaiting for a new tenant to occupy the building possibly a restaurant. It is an English Heritage site and plays a significant part in the annual Mouth of the Tyne Festival. Here is a Link to the 2024 Festival mouthofthetynefestival.com/
