Chip 'n' Dale’s GADGETcoaster is inspired by the Disney animated series Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, where Chip, Dale and a team of crime fighters help solve mysteries. The cleverest member of the team is Gadget, a young female mouse and a resourceful inventor who uses found objects like bottle caps, cans, toy blocks and rubber bands to build inspired contraptions.

This refresh makes the attraction look as good as it did twenty years ago when ToonTown was brand new. I love the subtle additions!

cute take on the attraction. As a big Gadget fan I was happy they have her and even Zipper in this but I gotta wonder why they didn't just go all the way and put Chip and Dale in their Rescue Rangers clothes

As an East Coast person who has never actually been to Disneyland, just now finding out this ride has always been rescue rangers themed and was never an inspector gadget ride

The sightlines are excellent. The flat facades really obscure the runaway railway show building at the top of the coaster lift hill.

Even just the fresh paint is wonderful, reminds me of my first trip as a little kid!!

Nice they actually put Gadget in this Go Coaster.
I’m so glad they kept the rescue rangers theming. When I heard they were renaming it to Chip and Dale’s Gadgetcoaster I was worried they were going to remove Gadget but seeing them actually add lines and even include Zipper was such a treat, all they need is Monty and it’ll be perfec.
Man this thing looks great! Last time I saw this it was in bad condition! The paint was so faded and it was problably the most Six Flags like ride at Disneyland. That's what happened to Bugs Land it was removed because its rides were the most Six Flags rides ever. But now this ride is fresh and actually has story in it now! I never thought there would be a way to put an actual story in this one. But they actually pulled it off!

The rollercoaster is pretty tame but that’s what I like about it. I don’t have to worry about whiplash and I get to enjoy the ride.
This is a great IP referb, happy toon town finally got some love.
So, Universal in Orlando just shut down their Woody Woodpecker coaster. Go watch that video after this one. They’re the same ride.

Can't believe how the new rides has the longest lines just for a one minute ride while rides like these can reach to it fast at the point of ride again

Is Gadget's coaster scary? I love her and If I rode it, her coaster would be my second one, my first one was Trailblazer at Hershey Park. Gadget is so pretty 😃😍❤️. I want to go to Disney Land and Disney World someday. Is her Coaster at Disney World or just Disney Land?
This is only at Disneyland California. It's designed for the youngest guests so I don't think it is too scary.

Weird. For most of my life I thought this ride was based on Inspector Gadget, since the 1999 movie was by Disney. Apparently it's a Chip 'n' Dale ride instead.
It used to be Inspector Gadget, but it was rethemed to Chip n Dale when New Toontown opened
