    I like the grey color scheme with the black highlights inside the trailer. It looks kind of cool.

    For those looking at coin flooring - make sure that it's the smaller "coins" that have a slight texture. I had standard coin floor and it was a little slippery when wet. Great video.

    I absolutely love this trailer. The bunk beds are brilliant. I am wondering if they are adjustable in height and assume they have to be. It's all just really awesome.

    Was just on the phone yesterday talking with the place I got my trailer asking about exactly this idea, (narrow track 7'). They told me it only increases the cost of the trailer $450.
    I got a 6x12, but now wish I would have gotten a 7x12 narrow track, so the bed can fit sideways.

      The most recent ones are with a gopro hero 10. I'm also shooting in 1080P, rather than 4K. I use Kinemaster for my editing software with my Samsung Android tablet. I found that after editing, when I go to actually produce the video, I raise the bitrate to 19. I'm pretty sure that's what makes the videos appear to have been shot in 4K.

    I like watching your channel! Good job! Its inspiring me as I'm few months from retiring.
    Yes Im a old fart.
    Sure would like to see more of smaller rigs like 8 and 12'. 16' is just way too big for me myself. There are a few 12' you have showed That are really nice though!
    When I watch your channel I feel like I'm missing out on lots of good folks and lots of fun!

      @@dgc940 If you want a smaller build, I would highly recommend having a 7x12 narrow track built. That extra foot on the width can make a huge difference. I travel solo most of the time, and would love to be able to rotate the bed side/side instead of front to back, to open up area in front of the bed, but that's not a great option, unless you are okay with a shorter than twin size bed. Plus with the additional width, you could easily put 2" of wall insulation, I normally boondock with solar only power, so the extra 1" of insulation would save battery power running the A/C and heat. My 6x12 is 5'9" wide on the inside, so I would have to shorten a twin mattress 6", and I'm 5'11" so you could never fully stretch out.

    I’m new to this channel. Would like to hear reasons why people choose to build rather than buy traditional campers, to understand benefits, pros & cons. Every build looks great & built for needs. Is this the reason or is there other reasons. Thank you.

      Cargo trailers are very customizable I built one for the reason of didn't make a toy hauler to my specifications and I probably saved $20,000.

      Cost, tailored to your needs (can be mild to wild) , possibly Better build quality (depends on you - what you buy and what skills you got) - look thru their videos and you will see all kinds, all levels

    • @tedjones112
      @tedjones112 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Bill and Deb have a video saying approximate what they spent on theirs - like $25K but would have to spend $40k + to match it with a traditional TT

    • @tedjones112
      @tedjones112 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      And if you built it - you know How to maintain it, how to diagnose problems and how to fix it

    • @C0braChicken2
      @C0braChicken2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cost is the first, flexibility is the 2nd. Mine I can use in several different ways. First it is my construction trailer for my handyman business. I also do storm chasing repair work, so I can work and live in the same trailer. The bed folds up against the wall, so I can still use it to haul a motorcycle or ATV. Also runs 100% on solar, with A/C and a refrigerator.
      If I was to get a "camper", I would have spent $10,000 more for something that wouldn't be able to do all of that in a nice convenient size. I tow this thing non stop for work or play, putting around 20k miles on it in the past 10 months. Then I would also need a larger truck to pull a camper, since this weighs about half what a camper would.
      I know for a fact mine has the best insulation and wiring you could ask for, and will last for 20+ years..

    Couldn’t he have a single door cut into the rear ramp door / gate, so he could leave the ramp closed and just use the single door?
    WOW, I’d be adding some WD-40 on those Squeaky hinges. That hurt my ears when he was opening and closing them.
