Great build, seem like nice people. Finally, someone who put their frig up high instead of all the builds i see where people crawl on the floor to get in the fridge.
Lovely People and creative professional build. So roomy for 16 ft ! And the floor...I’m gonna steal that idea! Nice to meet another coffee lover! Genuine hometown people!
Diana, it was so nice meeting you and seeing your amazing build! We didn't now we were building it for coffee as well as the bike but my coffee is a must!
I really appreciate you making these videos and highlighting the introspective thought, personal expression and creativity your guests put into their builds. It's great that you, and they, are willing to share so much of their amazing work. Thank you!
I think I could be great friends with Todd and Kim…and everybody that I met at the rendezvous! I think they might’ve dropped by my rig one day. I had such a fantastic time . Great walk through Bill!
I did a bedroom floor like that after getting fed up with carpet and not having money at the time to do something else. I loved it so much that I did two more rooms and we love them 4 years later
That is a great way to boondock or camp at a non-hookup campground. Portable black and gray tanks and water is the way to make your trailer have more space and save weight. Great solution!
My wife and I have plans for a two part conversion. The bed and bathroom will be in a long wheelbase cargo van, while the kitchen and crafts studio will be in a cargo trailer of somewhere around this (in the video) size. I had been thinking about putting the fresh water tank in the van, under the bed, and running a hose to the kitchen in the trailer, very similar to Todd's setup. I am pleased to see that it's feasible. :)
Thank your for the tour of your build. This is awesome. Could you give a ballpark estimate of what it cost you to build one of these to this quality including the cost of the trailer?
Watching Bill and Debs videos gave e idea. He would fill his tank in van then hook up to the trailer. It is a 55gal tank and it asted my wife 3 days of showers. LOL
Is it possible to get some photos of the bed and biker bar setup where I can see the locking system. I am interested in doing something similar. I was thinking murphy bed but wanting the biker bar and didnt see how to work in the base without a lot of work.
There is one other question I wish that you would ask people about their builds. I’m sure most people have weighed them after they are done, and I would be very curious as to what each one of these weigh.
Hi Bill, my wife and I have been looking for an awning just like this one. I went to Walmart,s website and couldn't find the one Todd has. Could you ask Todd for a link for us? As always thanks for these great videos and sharing your lives with us.
As always Bill, thank you for all you do and for the link. I'm seriously considering it for my 7x16 v nose trailer. Have you and Deb consider doing a meet up in Texas?
I love the floor idea. Been trying to decide what i want to do with my floor. Mine is also a toy hauler for my harley. I just wonder if that floor gets slick when loading the bike when it's wet outside
The bathroom is a big win! I can make do with a small kitchen (solo) but I definitely need a comfortable shower. Have they had a chance to weigh the trailer yet?
@@billanddeb the 15 x 8 that we ordered is out of stock, but there were 12 x 8 and 13 x 8 that were in stock in different colors. Scroll down below the searched awning, and it shows other options available. There were even some electric awning options as well. I hopt this helps!
Really curious what she covered the ramp door with. Is that painted or a material? Also absolutely love the cabinet doors. I'm in the middle of doing my front bench and would love doors just like that.
Does everyone get by without a dehumidifier? I have to run one in my trailer in the humid southeast. I have to empty it at least twice a day to keep the humidity at 50%.
The mini split makes pulling out humidity with no problem. We live in south Lousiana pretty much in a wet swamp and before my mini split I had issues with mold.
Hi Guys! I have a question for Kim. Did you buy those shoe racks at their current size or did you cut them down to size, and if yes did you have to stitch hem the cut edges? Thank you.
Hi! great question. I bought them full sized from Walmart and Dollars General. I did not need to hem or stitch them. They cut clean and were ready to attach to the cabinets. I used command strip velcro and thumb tacks to attach them. the tack work better it you have heavier items. Velcro worked fine for lighter items. Tack are cheaper. I hope this helps! 😃😃
Bill, we were taught in SC to say mam and sir to everyone of all ages as a show of respect. I taught high school for 30 years, and said mam and sir even to my students and fellow teachers, regardless of their age. Don’t take it as an insult because I assure you it is meant to show respect.
I did not even consider Kim calling me "sir" as an insult. By this time, Deb and I had built a special relationship with Kim and Todd. I fully understand this endearing southern tradition. Rather than view it as an insult, I would rather think that by simply referring to me as "Bill" is showing humility on my part because I ain't nothin special. I'm just plain old Bill.
It is not disrespect by Bill. We are the babies of the group and love calling great grand dad sir. LOL Bill and Deb are some of the finest humans i have ever met. Amazing couple that love big. Very kind and very helpful.
I think 🤔 this setup is so cool 😎 Thanks for sharing 👌 👍 Awesome
Thank you for watching
That’s. Sweeeeet ! ❤
Todd and Kim did a great job
Another great build.... Love Kim and Todd energy...best thing about camping and living is making new friends along the way
Absolutely
Great build, seem like nice people. Finally, someone who put their frig up high instead of all the builds i see where people crawl on the floor to get in the fridge.
I love having the fridge higher. It's much easier to access food.
As we get older it's more beneficial to put things up at eye level
We love y’all as well.
Love it!!
They did a great job
Lovely People and creative professional build. So roomy for 16 ft ! And the floor...I’m gonna steal that idea! Nice to meet another coffee lover! Genuine hometown people!
That's so true!!!
Diana, it was so nice meeting you and seeing your amazing build! We didn't now we were building it for coffee as well as the bike but my coffee is a must!

You and Deb are! Love y'all 😃
I really appreciate you making these videos and highlighting the introspective thought, personal expression and creativity your guests put into their builds. It's great that you, and they, are willing to share so much of their amazing work. Thank you!
Each one we see is a unique design, it's amazing the things people come up with.
That floor is amazing!
Yes!!!! It's a great idea
Thank you! We had fun trying new things with the build and thought, "Why not just try it?" It was chaeper and lighter so a win/win for us!
I love the floor!! so simple and looks great. I will have to borrow that idea!!!
It's a great idea
Nice build.
It's beautiful
Great build yall
They did a great job!
Thanks so much
I think I could be great friends with Todd and Kim…and everybody that I met at the rendezvous! I think they might’ve dropped by my rig one day. I had such a fantastic time . Great walk through Bill!
Love their place, great use of space and looks good too.
They are a lot of fun, hope you got to meet them
I was always raised to say yes sir and yes mamm just good manners :) Really cool build I love it.
Yes it is

Yes it is fantastic
That is one of the most beautiful builds I've seen.
That is so kind. Todd did an amazing job building my mini for me and Harley 🥰😍
They did a great job
That floor is an AWESOME idea. Sharpie and walnut polyurethane...brilliant!!!
We think it's pretty amazing
I did a bedroom floor like that after getting fed up with carpet and not having money at the time to do something else. I loved it so much that I did two more rooms and we love them 4 years later
It's a great idea
Great trailer build. Great people looking forward to visiting with Todd and Kim again.
Can't wait to see all of you
My fellow Cajuns!
You did a great job on the walk through Bill !!! Robert from Ohio !!!
Thanks for watching, you are the best!
Great build 👍
It's beautiful

It's nice to see built with pride and style. Very nice, thank you for sharing.
Kim and Todd did a beautiful job
Very cool ! 👍🏻
Yes it is awesome
Very nice build, very clean and great use of space.
They did a great job
That floor looks amaizing.
Yes it is amazing
That floor looks amazing, I thought it was a real wood floor. Nice setup!
Yes it turned out really well
It was my wifes idea. She is the brais behind this.
First-rate design work and execution.
We agree!

CAJUN POWER !!!
Looks very homey. Like your build a lot.
They did a great job
Great couple with solid ideas
Truck water tank is great idea . SAE connnecter for 12v cable.
Brilliant floor idea 💪
Thanks! 👍
👍
Beautiful…well thought out. Love it!
Thank you! They did a great job
lovely build, very peaceful and serene..great storage ideas!
Absolutely gorgeous! We are going to borrow some of your ideas. Thank you for the tour!
That's awesome, it's always great to get new ideas
I really like the frame around the cables/roller system for the back ramp door. I am so stealing that .
Another great and fun build!!! ❤️
They did a great job
I love the concept of this layout, but then you still have a headroom for a lift bed and have a living/dining at bottom?
What a great camper 🙂
They did a great job
Thx
AWESOME BUILD 💪❤
Glad you like it!
It's a cargo trailer first...turned into a camper. That's what makes these so great. You can't haul a Harley in a regular 16 foot 'camper trailer'.
Thank your for the tour of your build. This is awesome. Could you give a ballpark estimate of what it cost you to build one of these to this quality including the cost of the trailer?
Way to go on figuring out your water on the fly!
Where there is a will there's a way.
Watching Bill and Debs videos gave e idea. He would fill his tank in van then hook up to the trailer. It is a 55gal tank and it asted my wife 3 days of showers. LOL
Love your build, question how did you do vent in bathroom to allow moisture to escape.
?

I would love to know too! Hopefully we can weigh it soon 😀
Thanks for this Bill… just what the Dr ordered. I have been looking for just such a thing. I sub’d.
Kim & Todd whats the fan set up in the bathroom?
Hi Bill, my wife and I have been looking for an awning just like this one. I went to Walmart,s website and couldn't find the one Todd has. Could you ask Todd for a link for us? As always thanks for these great videos and sharing your lives with us.
We are trying to get a link
www.walmart.com/ip/ALEKO-15-x8-Retractable-RV-Patio-Awning-Grey-Color/545665229
As always Bill, thank you for all you do and for the link. I'm seriously considering it for my 7x16 v nose trailer. Have you and Deb consider doing a meet up in Texas?
it has been so long ago i just know i went to walmart and searched 15 foot camper awning.
What is the weight of the trailer after the completion?
LOVE THE FLOOR IDEA , just courious is how big is the bathroom space
Not sure of the dimensions but they have a decent size shower and a toilet
Very nice build. Could you add some pics of the bike inside the trailer and add the info for the MC mount that you use to secure the MC?
i would be glad to email them to you. I will also show the system i use to secure which is the biker bar.
I love the floor idea. Been trying to decide what i want to do with my floor. Mine is also a toy hauler for my harley. I just wonder if that floor gets slick when loading the bike when it's wet outside
We love it as well
We have never really had to load it when it was wet. We had carpet we put down to load it.
How does one on the West Coast find out about these events? It would be fun to visit…
Just follow the group “I Ride Tiny House Adventure” and check the events.
We try and announce them well in advance in our videos.
The bathroom is a big win! I can make do with a small kitchen (solo) but I definitely need a comfortable shower. Have they had a chance to weigh the trailer yet?
As far as I know they have not weighed it yet.
i am guessing we are around 5500 with the bike and 4500 without. I have never thought about weighing it but i will do that ad get back to you.
Also it is the durastall 32x32 from hoe depot. I am a big fella and have plenty of room while showering
That’s an awesome trailer. Is there someway to get more information on your awning model? I’m looking for one now and any help would be great. Thanks
I went on Walmart website and just typed in 15 foot RV awning. I will see if I can find and attach link

That’s exactly what I needed. Thanks for your help quick response. Happy Thanksgiving
Really curious what she covered the ramp door with. Is that painted or a material? Also absolutely love the cabinet doors. I'm in the middle of doing my front bench and would love doors just like that.
They cut grooves maybe 1/8 depth in the ramp door then painted it.
Yes, Todd used a skilsaw to cut diagonal and did a painted wash to distress it.
Hi! Maybe does someone know if these guys have their TH-cam channel to watch detailed videos about this build? Thanks in advance! 👍
What brand is the awning?
Does everyone get by without a dehumidifier? I have to run one in my trailer in the humid southeast. I have to empty it at least twice a day to keep the humidity at 50%.
They have a mini split. They have a "dry" mode. When you hit the button on dry mode, a lake begins to form below the drain tube.
Thank you.
We screen shot your question and sent it to Todd and Kim so they'll be sure and look for it in the comment thread.

Looks breat.
Don't understand converting a trailer into a camper, not a toy hauler
Everyone has different needs.
Very nice build, very clean and great use of space.
