- We had a bit of a disaster when we arrived home from holiday - Vicki's office was damaged in a storm, and it rained ON HER DESK! The main 'victim', aside from some notebooks, was this Logitech Keyboard. It was ACTUALLY filled with water, for several days.. is it beyond help? Or can I fix it?
Watch and see!

you could take pictures of the membrane to trace the keys, get some cheap push buttons, a battery holder some thin wires, and turn it into a button box for games like I intend to do when I got a larger place to live rather than a bedsit/minature flat.
then you got 2 video's for nearly the price of 1!! hahaha
Thanks! I learned a lot from your experiment!
Those traces work with resistance. If you have your probes far apart like you did for the suspect faulty traces it wont beep but the good trace did cause you measured with the leads closer together
Thanks Kip and Vince's intro? lol. Definitely not worth repairing but at least all those keys did not drop out like they usually do!😀
I'm not convinced about that break in the trace (at least I can't see it in the video).
I would try to clean the pads (under the buttons) itself with IPA.
I had a similar case with another Logitech keyboard (It was a K400 I think) and it was dust between the contacts that stopped the buttons from working.
The traces all have a rough feeling to them, there is a place where the roughness stops, and that’s where I’m certain they are broken! 👌
