1-Chris Coleman. 2-Bruno Valverde. 3-C.J. Thompson. I really like Valverde's approach , and some very interesting fills toward the ending. All very talented artists though. Thank you.
If I had to pick a favorite out of those 3, it would be Chris Coleman. I loved what he brought to the essence of what a drum solo is, without taking away from the song. 🙏🏽 Everyone already knows CJ is gonna “eat” on whatever he touches, but even with the ingenuity of his licks, I thought his approach was just atypical of a “shed” drummer doing a little too much. I couldn’t enjoy the musicality of the song itself, because CJ took a bar every 2 bars. 🤷🏽♂️ Bruno reminds me of probably what I would have done to the song back in my drumming days with mastering “finesse” but tastefully setting up every transition. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
The narration on DrumLife videos feels unnecessary and distracting, just repeating the same things and stating the obvious. Guys, we don't need you to tell us how to appreciate music!
Thank you for your feedback, the purpose of the commentary is for those who really watch the videos, there is a challenge in every video, we expect our viewers to get involved, send us a video of you playing some of these inflections in these videos - their are perks to it as we have relationship with every drummer we post and eventually it will lead to custom content featuring your favorite and YOU! And commentary per the rules of TH-cam is always necessary when your using reused content.
Too much s… going on Weckly is number one as usual Nobody touches Weckly originality which was way back in the day These drummers here are great players but just too much going on Coleman In my opinion was my favorite though

Coleman’s was just mixed well as far as sound. But CJ is definitely more creative than all of them.
