    Some sound advice again, especially for those on a limited budget. These should be alongside ASE's, Britannia's, Maple leaf, Philharmonic's etc. for stackers, there are bargains to be had from time to time for all these staple coins.

    I really love the design of the 2022 kangaroo coins and kind of wish that they used the same design for the 1oz gold version

    • @AceBullion
      @AceBullion  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is odd that they did that. I can see the design is on the gold but the Kilo version! And they have also kept the design on the 1oz platinum

    Great point to stack good quality coins from reputable mints that are budget friendly. I just started collecting silver and I've bought a variety of coins, including higher end specialty coins. I really like the one Kangaroo that I bought and think I'll take your advice and buy more. They seem much higher quality than Britannias from what I've seen so far, and as you said, they are reasonably priced compared to many other common silver coins. And I also agree that Philharmonics are awesome too. Collecting silver is awesome!

      Thank you. I have the new 2023 Philharmonic coin. But be warned about the kangaroos, they do milk easily. However for value and bullion sake they are perfect. I melt a lot of them down. But again it builds your stack

    • @brushstroke3733
      @brushstroke3733 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AceBullion Thanks for the warning. I'm not too worried about milking or tarnishing or even scratching for low budget stacking though. Even coins with higher premiums sometimes arrive with milking and scratchimg which is more disappointing to me. What causes milking by the way?

  • @martinmiller1087

    Good philosophy for stacking poor man's gold. ... Roos and Brits are often sold @ same mark-up. Both ship in tubes of 25. Neither are shipped in mint acrylic capsules. Brits are probably a bit harder to counterfeit - they're also three nines fine, vis-a-vis, four nines fine Roos.

    • @AceBullion
      @AceBullion  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Solid foundation, buy low, buy volume. Then after 500 -1000 oz you will know you will never have to sell that premium coin because of a car bill or life. I seen it soo many times. 😩 I don't think I have seen a fake Britannia yet. I will have to go on a hunt.

    Being an Aussie I know how truely privileged we are to be so close to high quality minting. All the little things in Australia have always screamed high quality standards and the coins really show it.

      @@AceBullion lol nah nah it's my real feelings. Especially because I have some Canadian maple coins and they're really ugly and don't look nearly as nice and polished as the Australian kanga or Britannia coins do. Australia has one of the best, prettiest and most quality minting power.
      Tldr its in my Aussie belief that Aussies are lucky with minting opportunities that also put out really pretty, high quality coins. And that's just a small part of being in a bloody awesome country.

However I wish someone would hit the marketing team at perth mint with a good ole strap of leather! They are killing soo many series because of greed! Take the Simpsons, 007, gosh I could go on. Have they lost the will to live?

    The Kangaroos are my go to Government Silver Bullion.
    I prefer the American Silver Eagle's, but the premiums are too high.
    So my go to Government Silver Bullion are Kangaroos and Krugerrands.
    Britannia are too shiny!
    I prefer the matte finish.
    I also love Maple leaf.
    Until the premiums come down on American silver eagles, I have to purchase my second and third favorite Government Silver Bullion,
    Kangaroo and krugerrand.
    When I can find good price on Maple leaf, then I purchase them.

      It is a shame. But you said a swear word. " matt " 🤣🤣🤣🤣 omg I do not like Matting in coins! They scratch soo easily. It is ironic that you mentioned Kangaroos. Can someone tell me what the difference is between buying the cheaper Kangaroo silver coin compared to more expensive ones, such as the canadian leaf coin? isnt the silver percentage the same amount?

    • @AceBullion
      @AceBullion  ปีที่แล้ว

      Both are 1 troy oz of silver. I always prefer personally the 9999 coins, but 999 is the same too. Buying the cheaper coins no matter what the design is a SMART move. Your money needs to be spent wisely. What the differance is? Simple. Some designs and years are more collectable. Some carry high premiums and are collectable, such as say the 2oz family Simpsons coin. It is STUPID the price of them ... I paid a premium but I can get back 10 fold what I bought them for. I do not flip coins, So for me it is a personal collection. BUT I ALWAYS say buy CHEAP .. second hand from a reputable source or dealer!!! Get the best value for money! If you have a heap of milky or spotted silver.. someone like me will pay you spot price and melt it down.. OR you could always ask someone like me to melt it down into a Bar or other design and hallmark it .. for proof of quality and purity. You wont loose. I hope this helps. consider joining the precious metal forum for more like minded people and remember it is free.. I pay for it so that you do not have to.

    I won't buy them too many milk spots. You can buy these kangeroo's and a few months later they will be full of milk spots it really sucks.

    • @AceBullion
      @AceBullion  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your absolutely correct regarding milking. BUT if you can buy milked silver at or around spot it's a win. At the end of the day it is still bullion. The milking doesn't affect the purity , just the looks. I don't suggest to anyone to clean them. You can remove the milking easily. But it's a long story why they are still on my list.
