Rev 6:5-6: "And when he opened the seal third, I heard the third living creature saying, Come and see! And I saw, and behold, horse a black; and the one sitting upon it having a yoke balance scale in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A measure of grain for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius; and the olive oil and the wine do not wrong."
A denarius is a Roman silver coin. Some translations translate denarius to "penny", "a day's wages", or something else. Makes me wonder why a silver coin was mentioned by name when "a days wages" would've sufficed as the denarius is no longer used... unless a denarius had the correct silver content (0.145 troy oz, slightly more than a pre-1965 US dime) for purchasing power.

@@paulrichards383 My comment was in appreciation of him talking about that scripture (that IS often thrown at us precious metals content creators). I wasn’t expecting a full exegesis of the passage. The text and context could warrant a complete breakdown with a dozen paragraphs with various facets explored (cultural, eschatological, etc.). I have usually seen the “wrath” perspective in the text and certainly agree with it, but appreciate his “their” analysis as well.

Ezek 7:19: "They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the *day of the wrath* of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity."
We won't be here for this since this is after the rapture, but good to know that silver and gold will be considered valuable up until the great and terrible Day of the Lord... oh my, this is gonna be a long one about the rapture. Just stick with me...
      *God will gather us...*
Mar 13:26-27: "And then shall they see the *Son of man* coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall *gather together his elect* from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven."
      *We will be called up...*
1Ths 4:16-17: "For the *Lord himself* shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be *caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord* in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
      *It will resemble a harvest...*
When Jesus told the parable of the man who sowed good seed, likend to the Kingdom of God
Mat 13:30: "Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the *time of harvest* I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."
      *Harvest in Revelation...*
Rev 14:14-16: "And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the *Son of man,* having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the *harvest of the earth is ripe.* And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was *reaped* ."
This takes place before the 7 bowls of wrath (Rev 16:1: "And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the *vials of the wrath of God* upon the earth."). I conclude that we will be here up until the conclusion of the 7 trumpets and taken *before the bowls of wrath* judgments. So we will go through the tribulation, but taken out *before God's wrath* is poured out onto the earth.
1Ths 5:9: "For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,"
      This is further emphasized by:
Mar 13:19-27: "For in those days shall be *affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created to this time, neither shall be* . And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he has chosen, he has shortened the days. And then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ; or, see, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take you heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. But in those days, *after that tribulation* , the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And *then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds* with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and *shall gather together his elect* from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven."
      Hopefully, I was clear...
      Additionally, about silver...
Rev 6:5-6: "And when he opened the seal third, I heard the third living creature saying, Come and see! And I saw, and behold, horse a black; and the one sitting upon it having a yoke balance scale in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A measure of grain for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius; and the olive oil and the wine do not harm."
A denarius is a Roman silver coin. Some translations translate denarius to "penny", "a day's wages", or something else. Makes me wonder why a silver coin was mentioned by name when "a days wages" would've sufficed as the denarius is no longer used today... unless a denarius had the correct silver content (0.145 troy oz, slightly more than a pre-1965 US dime) for purchasing power.

@Hillbilly Stacker Completely agree, and furthermore, I don't see why any of our Christian brothers and sisters would struggle over this, of all things. I don't mean to be insulting, but I honestly think that any Christian who "struggles" over whether to stack gold and silver is a person who hasn't really thought it through at all. I don't mean to sound crude or insensitive, but honestly, to think precious metals are a sin is just ridiculous. Notice that the same people don't "struggle" at all over the idea of whether or not to stack fiat, stocks, land, cryptocurrency, real estate, or any other asset or financial instrument. But they wanna act like stacking gold/silver is somehow a materialistic Scrooge McDuck type of thing to do. They are brainwashed, simply put. There is zero reason for them to "struggle" over this, the only reason they do is because they are brainwashed and it prevents them from thinking clearly. I don't think this, I know this for a fact. Because if they truly struggled over whether or not gold/silver were a sinful thing to stack, then they would struggle MUCH MORE over whether fiat dollars, stocks, and other man-made illusions of wealth are sinful to stack. And they don't question those things at all. Which tells you they are not "struggling" with discerning gold/silver at all, they are just lying and making excuses. If someone tells me "Brother, I'm struggling with the idea of stacking metals, I feel that it is greedy and inhibits my ability to be a good steward of my family's wealth".... I will tell them "Okay. Then first, before you talk about gold/silver, empty your bank account of all your fiat dollars. Close out your stocks portfolio. Because stocks are just shares in (for the most part) evil multinational corporations who are constantly lobbying govt to sell out more and more of your rights and liberties, with the agenda of doing away with Christianity and creating a one-world tyrannical antichrist govt. And fiat currency is robbing you and your family of purchasing power on a daily basis. Gold and silver are not doing those things. And yet you wanna talk about being a good steward of your family's wealth and acting like you have the moral high ground by not stacking the ONE thing (gold/silver) that is NOT created by man and is not doing damage to your country? I think you should sit down and have a long thinking session before you come to me concerned about being morally upright and pretending that gold/silver are somehow inhibiting your walk with God."
That conversation has happened a couple times over the years. They either agree with me and begin stacking silver/gold, or they scoff and walk away.

    • @hillbillystacker
      @hillbillystacker ปีที่แล้ว

@@SlingshotMustang very very well said. I think they get it confused with with currencies that were being debased in Biblical times. Even then they were cutting the purity content of coinage and in essence was theft of wages by greedy elites. As you said and as I've heard many times is that silver and gold is not man made and is of God. I think one reason many Christians fear silver and gold is because of Judas Iscariot. The silver is not what corrupted Judas but that's what is brought to the forefront in doctrine. I see nothing wrong with stacking God's metals and in fact I encourage my brethren to do so. A lot of parts of the Bible can be viewed and focus on certain aspects ie Lazarus and the rich man of whom Lazarus desired but just the scraps that fell from his table and of course Judas Iscariot and the 30 pieces of silver. Yet also it speaks of wealth as being silver and gold, cattle, land and other things and that these things were owned by Godly men who were blessed. Owning metals itself is not anything wicked in my belief. There can be good and bad in nearly all things. It just depends on its intent. You stated possibly the best explanation of this that I've ever heard. Very very well put.

However, Gold is used many times more than Silver as an adjective also, describing something. Great video presentation! I have not seen a person attempt to do a Biblical Perspective on Silver.
We also know the Founding Fathers of the United States were familiar with Gold and Silver as currency based on Article 1 Section 10 of the Constitution: "No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts..." I am convinced they were as familiar with what the Word of God says about gold and silver as you stated in the video.
I have a fair amount of raw Mercury Dimes and Walking Liberty Half Dollar that I stack, yet most of what I have is coin collecting.
I had to wait until the end of the video to listen to one of my favorite passage on silver, Genesis 23.
There are two other passages of Scripture that come to my mind: The Law of the Lord, Psalm 19:7-14, the point of this passage is that the Law of the Lord is even more important that gold. "More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold..." This is not saying gold or silver is evil, it is saying that the Law of the Lord is Even more desireable than gold, which they were using as money.
The other passage of Scripture on silver and gold, as Christians we learn it as kids. The passage does not say that silver and gold is wrong to keep, rather they didn't have it so the LORD gave the person something better, through Peter. "Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." part of the song from Acts 3:6.
I do not see silver or gold as a sin to stack, unless one is putting more value on it than spiritual matters.

If you're collecting any object with an image any of any created being (angel, mammal, fish, bird, insect, etc.), then you're engaged in the grave sin of idolatry.
      Deuteronomy 4.15-19
Therefore watch yourselves very carefully. Since you saw no form on the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire, beware lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air, the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth. And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

It refers to flying rolls with a lead container in them and in the lead container is "a woman". The word for woman that was translated is "aisha", HOWEVER, "aisha" has a second meaning, which is "fire offering". The flying rolls that were documented to be about 36' long and when they land, they consume even the stones of the buildings in the city that they target. What is being described here is an ICBM and in the lead container is a FIRE OFFERING, NOT a woman. I LOVE the KJV but it is not "perfect".

      Hi Christine:
I don't know if the person from Bible college has thought about the context of that scripture verse.
After reading and studying over the years, it's been impressed upon me that:
      1. The gold and silver thrown in the streets has NOT happened yet.
      2. When it does happen, it will be near the end of Daniel's 70th week. Remainder of people living in that awful time will be in survival mode. Initially, it'll be used as a means of payment/barter as fiat/paper will be worthless. When the mark of the beast is implemented, those that are not plugged in to that satanic system will be quietly bartering among themselves until it is impossible to do so.
      (Just my 2 cents.)
In the meantime, before the rapture of the church, I think it's wise to have precious metals as it's outside our current "system" and is true wealth preservation should the current system implode.

So....it is not a false doctrine. The main disagreement among many is the timing of the rapture. The reason for that is mainly the reader of the word of God lacking precision in his or her personal studies with the guidance of Holy Spirit.
Once a person gets a firm grasp of Daniel 9:24-27, it sets up the rest of the prophetic narrative and the fog begins to lift....

Why can't people read. They have no understanding. The hole point is that the only one that saves is Jesus / Yeshua
That's it no more no less

I have been hesitant about buying silver cause just like you explain sometimes i feel like the father could see me as not having faith in him, or like those passages in the scriptures puts doubt in my self, but you are right and i am going to stock up on while i can for the little that i can, thank you, you really took off a weight from me.

@@cherylperkins7538 i look at it like this, we all going to be in the same situation, not everyone is going to have money or silver, but, like as of me, i know how to make many need and useful things, we will be doing exchanges, there will be people that farm a little and we will be able to trade, either goods for food or silver, but think about it, not everyone will take silver or gold.

    Proverbs 13:22
“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.”
    Authorized King James Bible
There will be a great wealth transfer from the wicked to the righteous in these last days, so that God can bring in the final end times harvest of souls through us, then the saints will be raptured and the 7-year great tribulation period will begin on earth.

It’s not against the will of God for his flock to purchase and inherit gold and silver, God put it here on earth for us to make good use of it, after all who was the one that gave king Solomon all of his riches and wealth? God. God doesn’t mind us having an accumulative amount of gold and silver He just doesn’t want it to have us instead

7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Remember that Judas betrayed Jesus for silver. Obviously this is something Christians should never tolerate. But it gives all an idea how valuable silver is.

I look at what it says in Proverbs 16 : 16" How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!" It does not say it is wrong to have Silver or Gold. It should not be first place in our life. It is God's in the first place not ours, also Proverbs 23:4 tells us" Labour not to be rich, cease from thine wisdom." I like collecting coins, and do consider it a problem as long as I keep the right perspective (God First) as a believer. Tithing to Him comes first Proverbs 3:9 " Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:"

As in all things, the spirit that we go about our business with is all important. Honest dealings will bless, dishonesty will not, not in the end at least. Wealth is not bad, whereas the love of money is the root of ALL evil.

I started stacking but found myself being focused on it too much, maybe i will stack from time to time but will not let it dominate my mind.
« 13. Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
    And the man who gains understanding;
    14. For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver,
And her gain than fine gold.
    15. She is more precious than rubies,
And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.
    16. Length of days is in her right hand,
In her left hand riches and honor.
    17. Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all her paths are peace.
    18. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,
And happy are all who retain her. »

As a Christian, it was God that distinctly told me, in my prayer time, to stack Silver. And it is the truth that Gold and Silver is God's money. And God is moving us towards going back to His money.
