For me, accepting the fact that I am a failure by most societal markers was a great liberation that was a total surprise. I would never have learned what I really am without becoming absolutely crazy in how the world was not working out the way I wanted it to. When things work out, you never learn, never need to change, so often i find myself rooting for people who are obviously in tumult to fail. Though totally understandable, their desperate flailing grasping arms of yoga workshops are just giving them hope of becoming more entwined with their ego and the outer manifestations of its games. Here's hoping you fail more, well!
It's so funny how similar experiences are, yet divided between individuals across the whole globe. Which makes me wonder that if something like this is the case for so many people, does it mean that the root cause is the same? PS: Cheers from the former consultant again 🙃
Oh haha hello again my former consultant friend, good to see you again! I think there is perhaps a variety of causes for suffering, and a soul-sucking job is probably a common one. What do you think?
From a career and professional development perspective I would even argue that soul sucking jobs are surely the main cause of suffering Edit// by the way bro… How‘bout your plans for the future actually?? Have any? Any strategy to escape this meaningless loop? How‘bout a video on that? I would find a honest take from you pretty interesting
@@Curvydad Hey bro just saw your edit. Ya I do have a few things in mind. Some of the obvious options are finding a better job or just quitting and living off savings for a bit. I could also hack my lifestyle like moving out of my overpriced downtown apartment and moving in with a friend. I was planning to try some of these things and share whatever useful things I learned along the way in videos. I like your idea about making a video on the planning side of things too. Otherwise, I might just end up looking like a grumpy, complaining, burnt-out consultant if I don't let people know at some point that I’ve got plans and actively iterating on solutions (lol).
Very nice thought-provoking video. Thanks. Yes, this society pushes us to be productive in everything 24/7 like slaves. If we don't be productive, this society will put you into lower vibrational emotions such as fear of death and survival....etc. I personally predict that almost everyone will realize how vile this society/system is and going to rise together. This is such a hellish world where you just can't stay sane without doing inner work constantly.
Very true. And it could already be happening. It is the suffering that motivates me to look deeper within. Sometimes the challenges are so great that I'm forced to be present in order to get through it.
