I have seen many videos and crime shows on Ted Bundy and his victims. For some reason, I got very emotional watching this. It is indeed, mind blowing how he hid in plain sight. He destroyed so many lives. Its heart breaking.

An old friend of mine used to work with Ted Bundy in the Pacific Northwest area. He approached her to "date?" her. I'm so glad she chose her future husband over him. I don't want to think of what might have happened.

Here’s an interesting side note as the ground breaking show “Mary Tyler Moore Show” was becoming increasingly popular at promoting women’s independence in the workplace the reality of women’s safety in America was entirely opposite to what Hollywood was promoting.

I would have hated to be his neighbour when he was a kid, I bet many pets vanished as he was growing up. I had a cat vanish once and it still plays on my mind nearly thirty years later. They say death by electrocution is the worse way to go, you're fully conscious and in agony as your body fries from the inside, I'm glad that's how he went. RIP all his victims, known and unknown.

    • @joejones9520

The idea of pet victims is much more disturbing to me than human victims, like with horror movies; I can watch murder and gore all day but if a movie even suggests something happening to an animal, hell no, Im not watching.

@@applejellypucci Seattle area is not that expensive, the cost of electricity is one of the cheapest in the country thanks to the Grand Coulee Dam Hydro, there is no state income tax so if you make good income in Tech you take home some 6% or so more than California and property taxes are not that bad and is less than many states like the state of Texas which has very high property taxes. Eating out and services are not cheap due to one of the highest minimum wages in the country I think $18 or $19 so the trick is to live cheap for the area somewhere away from Seattle and drive to work which can be frustrating so its not for everyone and avoid eating out just make your own food like I do but its not for everyone.

I was bummed when I went there and found that so much of where I wanted to go is completely different and the WHOLE city is turned into apartment complexes. I wanted to go to where he lived in Seattle, his old rooming house, but of course it’s an apartment complex now. Not like his Utah rooming house which looks almost the same today! The Volkswagen Beetle was designed by Ferdinand Porsche for the Nazis in the 1930’s to be the People’s Car. A car easily affordable for the average German and do use to drive on the reichsautobahn. However, it never went into mass production due to the German economy’s focus on production of war material.
The dark origin of the Beetle is incongruent with it’s popular image as a car ideal for young couples or singles to use for drives into the country for warm weather outings.

I remember those Ted Bundy days well. I was in my 20's, long brown hair. It was a scary time for us women. No one knew which state he would prowl next. We let out a collective sigh of relief when he was eventually caught for good after all the escapes, and we cheered with everyone else when they threw the switch. Yet the story of Ted Bundy is still a strangely intriguing one... not in an admiring way but where we can't fathom what he did nor why and how he flew under the radar for so long.
Anyway, bye, Teddy. Stay put this time, would ya....

I think it's important to understand how someone like Bundy became such a Notorious Serial Killer Sicko that he was. Thanks for sharing this difficult subject matter. Your work is very respectful.

In Bundy`s case, it was his mom. Who lied to him his whole young life! That`s insane!

Absolutely love this channel. Always so well researched. You two are fantastic and I love how carefully put together all your stories are. I lived in Colorado when he escaped from jail there. I remember my mom would lock all the doors and not let us girls go outside for long. Terrified me as a child to think that there were people like him roaming around free.

Great video, only one thing that would make it even better is the house of Ann Marie Burr. The house looks kinda unnerving, resembles a gothic church.

Great video - thanks for uploading this one. Oh wow, you guys were in my area. I live in Lakewood, just south of Tacoma, not far from the two military bases here. I had heard that Ted had ties to Seattle, but never knew he grew up in Tacoma. In fact, we drive by his old neighborhood whenever we hop onto Hwy 16. It is pretty chilling to know that we are so close to his old stomping grounds.
