I had no idea Prince and Elton lived in this house before this tragedy occured! I learn something new everyday!
Those are two guys I just can't imagine living together, especially with Elton being gay and Prince being straight.

You were 100% respectful and didn't step on their property and trespass. I noticed they had a camera on a tree in the front yard. You had every right to film from the sidewalk and weren't breaking any laws. You could have stood there the whole day with a telephoto lens and they could not have done anything.
The problem when in high society people get real skiddish when someone is outside taking Pics and videos of thier home

I was also there on a Sunday. Only for about 10 mins. The door was open and I saw a child playing near the door. Looks as though the inside was remodeled. New owners have to understand that this house will never not get visited because of what happened there.
I remember when this happened- it was so shocking and sensationalized by the media. The brothers were portrayed as spoiled, cold-blooded killers. Worse, they evidently killed their parents for money. I didn’t have much empathy for them.
Years later, I saw an interview that Barbara Walters had done with the brothers and learned about the horrific lives they had in their posh mansion. Jose Menendez subjected his sons to physical, emotional and sexual abuse for years with his wife’s knowledge. The boys each suffered in silence for years not knowing that the other was also being abused by their father.
I felt rather guilty for not having more empathy for the brothers after learning about what happened. They did deserve to be punished for their crime, but they actually needed help more than punishment. Justice has been served, they should be free now.

I got lost on Mulholland drive one night back in the early 70's. We found a party going on where Errol Flynn' house used to be until the cops came to chase everyone out. They did show us how to get off Mulholland and back to town.

They were sexually abused by their parents. This was not a normal family by far. I'm not saying that its ok to kill anyone but this was a
very messed up family.
The brothers were sexually abused by their dad, their mom knew about it and let it happen. The brothers should've killed their parents,the brothers should've moved far away or done something else to get away from their parents.

Lyle Menendez initially says, “Yes,” the murders are still inside the house to the question from the 911 operator. Now if that admission is not a Freudian slip I don’t know what is.

I was in middle school when this happened it was on local and world news. I have seen the tv movie as well. The boys didn't deserve to be locked up. They were by there dad growing up pushed around a lot, they got tired of it and the oldies brother made a plan to end it all. One night while the two of their parents were watching TV they took a rifal/gun blew them both away. Thanks for sharing Mike and Jessica, so sad. Take care you two and Happy Halloween 🎃

We don't know that the allegations were true. But if they were molested, then I agree. I was abused (not molested) by a step parent, and they're lucky to be alive.

As a survivor of abuse by a parent (not sexual) I can say that unfortunately anyone may be capable of this. My brother talked about killing my dad. He didn’t thank God. I wouldn’t want my brother to rot in prison. But they probably snapped. Sad. Great video 🙏

I was in jail when this happened, the ACLU soon after I was there rated it the worst jail or prison in the US, so you can expect we didn't have contact with outside really. I didn't know about this till later when they were doing documentaries. Thanks for the details.

You know what I like about this TH-cam guy? I like how he’s “ scary “ looking, ( I put scary in quotes because a lot of people who have lots of tats and dark hair etc are some of the sweetest, most non judgmental people.. I’m a widowed mom with two boys and my boys father was heavily tattooed and was 6”2, he scared the shit out of people but anyone who knew him, knew he was incredibly sweet. Anyway. Just my thoughts.

In all the videos you guys have filmed you’ve always been 💯 percent respectful of people’s houses or locations. Don’t worry about those mean unhappy people you’ll have to put up with sometimes. You guys rock.
Kudos for handling the 6 people who gathered as you were taping. You were proper and respectful and they were wrong to hang around as you taped. Sometimes people think if they have a nice house they own the street. You were smart and played the long game. Quick do your taping and leave. That allows you to walk away problem free and work another day.
