    Awesome pickup! I'm a huge fan of the 300s. Wish I would've kept mine. The SMOG delete was the best decision I made with mine. Throw a 2bbl carb on top of that, and you'll notice the power difference big time!

      Thanks, I am also a huge fan of the 300. I have two of them 😆. The new exhaust made a huge difference so I’m really looking forward to fully deleting it

    Nice Old Ford- Those 70's model are Solid truck- If it was mine I go back to the Blue as well & try keep stock best you can - There's fellow in my area who recovers old bench seat like new for $350.00 - put new floor Matt, go through anything electrical like gages light radio etc & you'd have fine Classic Pick Up that would last your lifetime Easy to work on yourself- Thanks for making video- Keep making vids as you go along.

      Thanks for the comment. I want to build the engine for more power. Smog delete, cam, headers, intake, carb, open air cleaner, etc. Otherwise though, I just want to restore the truck to its former glory. Nothing crazy. Those are all long-term plans though.

    Great looking dentside. I recently went looking for a used truck for occasional work use. Saw a lot of 1970-1980's Ford and Chevy 2wd. rusted junk in the $5000+ range. I know you're not going to get perfect at that age, but a fool and his money are soon parted. Found a '91 F150 2 wd. not rusted out, running and driving truck for $850. It was maintenance neglected, but not thousands over It's worth.

      Thanks and yes, dentsides can be very overpriced if you’re just looking for a work truck. However, I was specifically looking for one. Mine was an old fleet truck so it was very well maintained and I got a good deal on it.

    Would you be willing to sell? Ideally the 4x4

    • @harley_benoit
      @harley_benoit  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll sell you the 4x4 for $1 per mile. The longer you wait, the more you pay.
