- Meaghan and Thomas look to the skies to see which cushy daily trainer will come out on top between the Asics Gel-Nimbus 25 and the On Cloudsurfer. With all these clouds, comfort is the thing that shines through, but which shoe will "rain" supreme? Find out in the review.

We run legit miles in our shoes and provide honest, no BS reviews of running shoes, running gear, and running races.
New camera looks great but this and the Vaporfly b2s have waaay too many transitions. It’s very distracting and hard to follow what you’re even saying because it reframes on one person 5x in one sentence.
Was thinking the same thing.
Agreed
I love my cloudsurfer! Such a fantastic shoe, has a nice goldilocks amount of cushion, good response, good ground feel and it's light!
I just got a Nimbus 25 as a replacement for my Novablast 3. It's very cushy in comparison. I'll know it was a great choice if it helps me avoid injuries on my daily runs.
is it better than the nova
I love my Asics Gel Nimbus 25. Brilliant shoes
Stepping up on the cinematography!
Just picked up a pair of Cloudsurfers on sale! Likely going to use them for more lifestyle/casual wear, with the occasional daily miles
Have both. Cloudsurfer was good for 100 miles and then started killing the achilles and calves. I suspect the lack of stability became an issue particularly after they were worn in. Went to the Nimbus and whilst they don't feel as plush they are more stable and so far the achilles is holding up. so, if you over pronate go the Asics. Toebox on the Nimbus is tight and on long runs the toes will start hurting...
Same thing happened to me in my Cloud surfers after about a 100 miles
Cloudsurfer 7 is a revelation for On, it's an awesome shoe and does have some pop, it's my favourite everyday shoe. I have the Gel-Nimbus 25 too and mainly use them for walking in rather than running now
Really appreciate this comparison as I find I understand what you value so I can read between the lines of your reviews. I have to echo the other comments on too much transitions… I got very dizzy with the constant zoom in zoom out then shoe then face then zoom in face 😢
If you put in the tracksmith eliot insole into the surfer, you get a great shoe.
Ralphie with the photo bomb!
Good morning. Interesting comparison. Like for Thomas and Meaghan. I like the nimbus25. A nice day for everyone.
Timely. I was thinking of asking Kofuzi about this on today’s Livestream.
I have both and feel that the Surfer is more analogous to Cumulus in terms of cushioning level
If you have both the Cloudsurfer and the new Cumulus25, which do you prefer? I’m retiring my Nimbus25 and interested in the Cumulus since I don’t quite need the weight and bulk of the Nimbus, though I enjoyed it for all my very long runs in my last marathon block, and a lot of walking since.
Great video and yes finally higher quality res video!!!!!
But having both shoes and like them both but I find myself going for the Cloudsurfer more
Love my Cloudsurfer 7s so much I bought 2. And gave my Cloudstratus to some poor kid in Africa.
The cloudsurfer is quieter than a Ninja in slippers 👌
Who is the guest in the background?
That’s Ralphie
Cloudsurfer wins for me just because it doesn’t look ridiculous on the foot like the Nimbus does. Plus it’s too heavy.
My Cumulus 24 had ground feel and after 100km I retired it because of it. Definitely not into ground feel when I'm buying a daily trainer or recovery shoe.
I tried both in a 13 and Cloudsurfer was the winner for me
I am 6'3" tall and I still like like Megan higher stack hoes😂 since they are more comfortable! I need on foot gear that saves my joints, so more foam combined with lightnes is winner🤔
Asics SUPERBLAST is best example of shoe that ticks all the boxes!
Thanks 4 the upload ❤
Maybe more v4 and salomon aero glide next?
Which shoe would you recommend for long days of walking and waiting in line at disney world?
I am gonna probably take my On Cloudsurfers for those.
Thomas for Minister of Justice! ✌🤜
If someone were to ask me whether they should get the Nimbus 25 or the Cloudsurfer, I would tell them to get the Novablast 3. 🤷♂️
Ralphie is so cute! 😊
I love the nimbus 25
can i just mention this is dialed in?
nice dog!
Nimbus is a great shoe but sooo not breathable. Windy day 17C and still warm enough to move your focus from the cushion part to your the sweaty foot. Is it just me?
Just got the Nimbus 25 and very impressed. It's not summer yet but I agree that it feels a bit warm..I also just received the Cloudsurfer and the lightness and breath ability are a plus.
Cloud Surfer offset feels false. The front seems so close to the ground and the heel feels relatively huge.
🐕 and between 1 dog.
One knitpick is that extra lace ties on the side hurt the side of the feet. It wasn't necessary. Otherwise great easy day shoe.
The react 3 is the best shoe I’ve ever owned. Tried the nimbus but it just feels cheap.
Nimbus 25 is so much more comfier than react. It has great details I really don't know where you're getting a "cheap feeling" from
@@AKhan.28 absolutely. I agreed. I have both shoes. React 3 is no way near in comfort. Nimbus is beyond comfortable. Material is also plush in nimbus 25.
@@AKhan.28 may be he tried the previous generation nimbus. 21 or 22. 😅 24 and 25 are brilliant shoes.
@@AKhan.28 comfortability is subjective obviously, And the upper material choice feels cheap and synthetic imo. Also the toe box was so wide it made the shoe feel clunky for my feet.
