It made me laugh when he said he's running at a nice slow 5 minute per km pace! I ran my last 10k event in 50:12 and that was my PB.
Bought these last week on early release, coming from cloud monster they are a lot softer, really nice shoe; great cushioning and a little less bouncy than likes of Novablast 3, great overall but only caveat is they lack that bite/push back in longer runs of say 20km plus. For me on 2 previous long runs kinda had a sinking feeling in later miles, maybe a bit too soft for longer runs but definitely a lovely shoe to run in overall. great video ben v fair and accurate review 👍
i have fond memories of the cloudflow but you were right about historically being on the firm side. think my legs wouldnt know how to handle that kind of battering now! interesting theyve taken this new approach.
Ons is a very unique brand! unlike other brands (who uses foam), ons on the other hand is more of efficient technology! I mean, look at that foam! (7:33), I never seen anything so efficient! And also... Ben... your videos are motivating me a lot! Your videos are very helpful! Keep it up!

Brought a pair of on cloud when they first came out, and back then, they were great, but they haven't progressed like other makes.
I have a few super shoes, Alphafly, Vaporfly and Sacouny pro 3 but I've just purchased the Adidas adizero pro 3 and I have to say out of all the super shoes I have these are by far the best.

I got a pair. They are really great. Really light, soft and bouncy.
You nailed it with the review, and echoes my feelings with ON as a whole. They're definitely not on the same level as similarly priced Adidas or Nikes.
Would love to see how the clousurfer work on a rainy day.

Hi Ben, got my pair on Saturday and went out for a mixed pace 12 mile run yesterday after work including 60 mins at marathon pace and they aced the session, absolutely love them and think they have nudged the Endorphin Speed 3 off the top of my daily running shoe rotation

@@samlr9083 hi Sam, I got same size in both shoes and they fit true to size, toe box in Endorphin is maybe a bit wider but Cloudsurfer feels amazing on foot
how does this compare to invicible 2?
It’s 2/5/2024 and I’m planning on bringing them out for a first run. Hope all these good reviews turn out to be true
The problem is On have set the bar so low with their previous shoes it shouldn't be that difficult for them to make something decent for once 😂 My worst experiences running have always been in "Ons" so be interesting to see what everyone else thinks of this new release as well 🤔
Have you tried the Cloud Monster?
As much as I love ON, I do honestly see them more as an everyday trainer whether it’s gym or going for a walk! Definitely a great brand with innovative technology but, hasn’t translated to high level running just yet
Ben I’ve seen you testing the new eclipse do they squeak as bad as these? Love the comfort but the squeaking is unbearable!!
I think the only thing that I feel awkward is the text straps in between those shoelaces......

Unfortunately I didn’t really make good experience with those max stack, ultra cushioned shoes. You’re wobbling around while neglecting the stability muscles in your ankles…
Since almost every newly released shoe is of that kind I can only recommend using more direct, “classic” running shoes like the NB rebel or the Saucony kinvara!!
How bad does it squeak in the wet ?
Mine now squeak constantly in all conditions.

Can someone recommend me a good shoe for running 5-10 k runs ? I have a fairly wide foot i believe. Right now i use Hoka Mach 5 but i think it's a bit to narrow :s

I really like running in mine but now, after about 5 months, they SQUEAK like nothing else.
Shame but I won’t buy them again once these are worn because of it. From a quick Google search, it’s not just me.
