I work at McDonald's and when we got the 'menu hacks' for putting everything together like the land air and sea and like the chicken mcdouble, we all were so confused when it rang up separate and tbh we don't even understand it as workers 😂 props for actually trying it tho 😂

Thank you for talking about your postpartum journey and letting us know that you're taking medication. The thought of taking something for a chemical thing in your brain is daunting and scary for a LOT of people. People commenting on you seeming lighter shows that you are still YOU to us (at least you feel like you to us). Also letting us know that you're not filming every day, that going on a trip and having alone time with Erik helps to show that it's a freakin' journey. There are SO many pieces in the puzzle of mental health. Also: The whole 'I fit into these pants from my dresser and feel like a fancy person' is so relatable - it doesn't NEED to be weight related to be a victory!
TTQ: So do you ever just sit back and think “wow I’m actually famous?” or are you used to it at this point? Like a city of people are watching you eat a McDonald’s burger. That’s star power
Tortilla talk: Have you and Erik talked to Flynn about what vlogging is at all? He seems to already be mirroring you talking to the camera/audience. I’m curious if you guys have a plan for eventually explaining that lots of ppl watch these videos, so that at some point he can decide if he wants to actively participate in them or not. It’s nice hearing someone be so open about mental health, I’ve struggled with it so much since having my twins back in September, I lost hair in the front of my head and just feel gross constantly, I don’t feel attractive to my fiancé and I feel like a mad mother due to feeling I haven’t given my children equal attention, I watch your videos so often and it always seems to help a little, I appreciate you and what you do, keep it up! 💞 your making a difference !
Hi Colleen! I have been watching you for so many years (first started out as Miranda). I hope this doesn't sound weird, but I don't have the best of a mother figure, so I kind of look up to you for that. It has been amazing watching your family grow through the years, and watching your vlogs everyday. You've helped me through a lot, and also a lot of others in the world. We’re just a few months apart postpartum & having these babes is such a blessing but holy cow, there’s a STEEP learning curve !! Your transparency & just relatability is such a fun comfort ! You’re doing a great job momma !
The McLand Air and Sea!!! This used to be one of those "Menu Hacks" where you ordered individual menu items to create a new item. I was actually at McDonald's today and saw the advertisement for the build your own sandwich and immediately wondered if Miranda had seen it or would eat one. Most McDonald's will let you order just a chicken patty or fish patty so you won't have any wasted buns.
My biggest struggle with antidepressants is exactly that! Knowing if they're even doing anything. But, my therapist reminded me that crying less is a sign they're working! It's not that there aren't challenges, and things you're struggling with but the medication can help to make sure you're not constantly overwhelmed, and bursting into tears but rather able to rationalize a difficult task, struggle through your emotions, and continue the task without your brain completely shutting down.

Erik will be a very good girl-dad. He seems very supportive of women. You guys are good parents. I like that Flynn isn’t rehearsed or performing in a forced way for the camera. He just seems happy and free and like he has autonomy to just be himself.

I love how bald babies simultaneously look so hecking cute whilst midly looking like middle aged balding truckers? The twins are so adorable but my mind can't unsee what I've seen in every baby. Grumpy lil faces of course add to it and it's a great image to imagine.
In my health class we are doing presentations on mental illness and I chose postpartum depression because colleen has inspired me to learn and research more about it!

Hey Colleen. I am enjoying your videos and seeing your adorable kids and kitties. I was a NICU baby in 1979 and was born almost 2 months premature. Was born blue, the umbilical cord was around my neck. Was supposed to stay in NICU for 6 weeks but was crying so much that the nurses sent me home early. To this day i have a sensitive stomach. Keep up the good work.☺

Any advice on what to bring to the hospital to make the stay more comfortable? Or things I could leave out of the hospital bag that we won’t use. Love your videos!!
