    Rice bucket workouts have helped me rehab from a tfcc tear. I would recommend watching rice bucket wrist exercise videos to anyone with a tfcc injury.

    Thanks for the video. In my case I have a carpal sag with my TFCC (ulnar side). I think that an arthroscanner is necessary.

    Hello; First of all thanks for the short and to the point video.
    I have an injury out of lifting exercise (sudden wrong movement). as a result i have a small perforation/tear in TFCC central disk proper - exact wording from MRI report :). and i have been in pain cycle on and off for the last couple of months till i did an MRI which has the results as explained above. still bearable but annoying pain in both wrists in daily activities. i got a recommendation from hand therapist to start physiotherapy for 8 weeks and if no improvement, we go for surgery as tears in that disk cannot heal without surgery!. second opinion was to wear the wrist brace for 8 weeks before starting the mobilization and strengthening exercises. my question is for such Disk tear, can it heal by wearing brace for such long time or nothing can make the disk comes intact once again without a surgery.

    Thank you very much for very nice explanation. Physiotherapist recommended me to see a specialist and go for a surgery for my TFCC tear injury. I have a "Large tfcc tear with effusion". Now im waiting for the appointment and i have to wait another 4weeks for the appointment. Is it ok to wait this period without any treatments? Currently I am using a support guard to keep the wrist not moving. Thanks.

      It should be ok! You could continue with whatever the therapist recommended for you in the time being (ice, splinting, gentle finger range of motion, etc) and then see what the doctor recommends

    Excellent video and channel thank you.
    I fell onto an out stretched hand climbing around 8 years ago (!). I stopped climbing and although I have healed and I have no pain at all pronating and supinating, my wrist clicks constantly and feels unstable with heavy gripping and dead hanging. It’s also much weaker than my right. I found the widget to not really make a difference for me and my weight bearing on the wrist is about equal with and without it. I am trying stabilisation exercises, eg barbell isolation wrist curls and basketball press ups. I fear the situation you mentioned where it hasn’t healed well. Any other recommendations?

      Yes see a hand specialist ,the clicking isn't good! Specialist might send you for MRI because it can develop into AVN. avascular necrosis! If you also damage the small veins in your wrist. Don't take a chance with this a MRI can pick up earliest signs of AVN. It can develop rapidly if left untreated. There are treatments for it if you catch it early otherwise if it goes untreated then your talking wrist fusion, partial or worse total! Make sure the Doctor is a hand specialist and does nothing else but hand and wrist..I saw a doctor who advertised being a hand specialist and was not and now I need a wrist fusion..so be careful and good luck!

    I have one of those tears. My Dr tried shot and brace. Still hurts. Sending me to Ortho Dr. The pain can at times be intense. I can't bend it back or twist..it's a partial tear. I had MRI. Not sure what Ortho Dr will do.

    I was doing a back handspring at gymnastics class and heard a pop nearly a year and a half ago. It never bothers me except with long sessions of writing/coloring/drawing.... and weight-bearing exercises. and it doesn't get better for long. I could never figure out exactly what was wrong, but ulnar pain, popping, totally fine except for putting weight on it and the side-to-side motion of writing... is exactly it. I'm overdue for working on strength, I think.

    Hi Kelly, thank your for the very informative video. I injured my wrist a few days back while doing banded push-ups. Now I feel pain when doing ulna deviation but totally fine putting weight on the wrist and supinating/pronating. How likely is the injury related to TFCC or possibly other types of ligaments? Thanks - KC

      if the pain continues, I'd get a doctor to examine you! typically TFCC tears are painful with weight bearing, with rotation, but there are specific diagnostic tests that can determine which tissues may be damaged.

    Can you please make a video for what to do in Phase 2 and Phase 3? It would be really helpful as there is not much content from experts on how to actually get ROM back and strengthen the wrists!

    Hello Kelly, Thanks for your informative video. I have a tfcc Tear right in the middle between ulna and radius so not really the pinky side where it usually appears.. Do you think if the pain is not that big I could avoid a surgery? or is it stupid to "live" with it.. I heard from some people on the internet that the surgery was bad for them and I'm afraid of that. Thanks in advance:)

      It really depends on each individual case. I would definitely talk with your doctor about the possible things that could happen if untreated. Ultimately I think it’s a quality of life decision, how much will it impact your daily life

    Oh high Kelly, thanks for the video, i have 3 mm tear in tfcc, my wrist kept on clicking but no pain. Will this clicking go away and that tear will it heals?!? So far no pain.. thanks😊

    Wonderful video!
    Quick question... I fell on an outstretched hand 5 months ago, I was told it was a sprain and was subsequently immobilized. After 1 month of being immobilized, I was sent on my merry way. No PT. I did not feel pain almost at all.
    I'm a Piano student so I started playing again and the pain came back, it's gotten way worse and now doctors are suggesting it might be a TFCC tear. Do you think I can still heal, even after 5 months (I'm told it's not normal to have pain for this long), or will surgery be my only option?

      TFCC injuries do usually take a long time to heal.. might help to see a hand therapist to help with ergonomics, activity mod, and splinting!!

    I have had a problem with my right hand and wrist for months, when I rotate my hand towards the ulna with a load or pressure, I have pain in the back of the hand, I have done magnetic resonance imaging and it has resulted in a tfcc injury, I have an orthopedic visit and he prescribed me 10 days of rest and a non-graduated wrist brace for a month, for me it seems too light a therapy, what do you think? I think that in Italy I am light years behind on this problem, this is my impression ... what do you advise me to do? thank you

    Would you happen to know if pain free excercises are okay to do ? I can for example do back excercises i.e pulling motions, in which the wrist is in a neutral or pronated position, supinated does hurt a little, im just scared that even though they don't hurt my wrist i might be slowing down recovery

      It depends on the exact individual, but it sounds like if they’re pain free and you don’t have a sudden flare of symptoms after that might be ok

    Hey I got surgery on my tfcc tear about 5-6 months ago. I did some rehab at home and now back playing baseball. When I swing it will have a little bit of stress which goes away after a little, But at night I have to brace it as it feels like it could start the process of re tearing. What do you think I should do

      I'd recommend checking back in with your doctor! Might be helpful to have advice specific to your individual injury. Sometimes it takes several months for things to heal, but you want to make sure that you're not injuring yourself!

    I had an operation on a TFCC injury on my left hand. I did it twice because the first operation did not completely cure me. The second time I cut the bone and shortened it. I've finally started to move properly recently, but my right hand is also hurting.

    I thought it was just broken radius....3 months and mostly immobilzed later, I finally went back to Doctor who has diagnosed torn TFCC. I dont quite know what to do next? Keep immobilized as there is still quite alot of pain? All the videos say to work on mobility but that causes more pain...any thoughts? I have time for rehab in any way but am in foreign country without great access to doctors or formal rehab. Thanks!

      Time is hugely helpful, as well as using a wrist strap like a wrist widget! And strengthening the ECU and PQ

    I had a tfcc sprain and I was prescribed anti-inflammatory medications, both oral and topical, and was also told to use a widget. After that I was also told to have a physical therapy however I didn't have the budget so I wasn't able to access that. The meds did help however after sometime, I started to feel pain and discomfort again. I don't know if it's gonna heal further. It's been more than a year since I had the sprain.

      @@jayveepoison5792 Hi, overall, the strength has come back. I can lift things without pain. But overuse of my hand/wrist, even just by typing too much for the entire day, still exacerbates it. I'm still having occasional flare-ups once in a while.
      I think I'll have to live with it my entire life now. I don't think there are any jobs out there that do not require hand/forearm use.

    any thoughts on what to do with supination pain but no tear can be found with arthrogram/mri? two mri's no tear shown - -so frustrating b/c pain continues

      Sorry to hear that!! What do the doctors think is causing the pain? Is there any tendinitis or inflammation in the area they can see? It could also be mechanical

    I've had a TFCC tear for about 2 months. Got a shot of cortisone and a brace for a couple of weeks and now in a Wrist Widget. Don't feel as if my pain is improving. What specifically would you recommend for rehabilitation purposes to get back to full weight training and activity??

      unfortunately TFCC tears tend to heal very slowly. I'd really recommend asking your doctor to refer you to hand therapy to have a guided rehab program! it might take several weeks to notice improvement in the symptoms as you heal.

    Dear Kelly, I injured my right wrist while boxing (haven't wrapped up my hand and hit the bag in a wrong way) And I would like to know if my tfcc is torn or just really slightly torn? It's been 3 weeks and I felt like it is getting better but now i still find pain while rotating my hand and especially doing push up? is it a bad sign?do i need surgery? Or should i get a MRI first?

      you may want to get in to see a doctor so they can do X-ray or MRI (or any other diagnostic tests) to see what might be going on! You wouldn't be able to tell if it's a complete or partial tear (or even confirm a tear) if you don't have imaging!

    I have a partial tear but my doctors say, hold it still with a flexible splint for 6-12 weeks, what do you think?

      I would follow the doctors advice! They know your case better than I can via TH-cam! Sounds like an appropriate period of immobilization/rest

    I had a suspected TFCC but ultrasound/xray which my hand therapist ordered was inconclusive. Was told by the ultrasound tech I'd need an MRI to know for sure. It took about 6 months to fully heal however I get the niggle of pain every now and then which she said is basically "functional pain" and something I just have to live with as Physio couldn't really help with that. Is that a true assessment?

      It really depends on an individual basis. However with TFCC injuries it is not uncommon to experience persistent pain with certain activities even after healing

    Hi Kelly, thank you for the video. I injured my TFCC while playing tennis. I have worn a splint for 8 weeks and felt 90% ok. I restarted strengthening. I probably wasn't gradual enough and I now feel the pain is coming back. Would you recommend to wear the splint again and start all over? Thanks - Max

      Sometimes when you have a flare up it can be helpful to use a splint for a few weeks to help it rest, and go back to using ice and gentle stretching. But I would continue to do some light strengthening as your pain decreases, to help build endurance and strength in a pain free range. Sorry you’re hurting again! Hope it feels better with a little rest.

      @@mukulkhola4566 I hope your doctor saw an MRI of your wrist before recommending surgery. Anyway I would check for a 2nd and even 3rd opinion before deciding. If you opt to do without operation, like Kelly said, you need to play carefully with rest, ice and strengthening exercises. Try to get the right mix of them. And crucially, be gradual with the exercise. I am ok now. I also eliminated almost entirely meat & dairy (they are inflammatory) and add turmeric to my diet.

    I flew off of my bike and used my hands to land and I felt some pain but i though "ofc" I just fell on them and I let it be thinking it would eventually go away. I had it for over a year and a half and it only hurted when I moved it a certain way or a direction. I used it like a regular hand and did everything with it. but after I realized it wasn't going away I went to go see a hand specialist and got MRI and my MRI shows some fluid in there. What does that mean? BTW it's actually both of my wrists lol. It doesn't constantly hurt for no reason but it only hurts with certain types of movements very similar to the ones you described. I am considering buying wrist widgets soon and I have therapy scheduled in a week because my doctor doesn't think I won't need surgery but what should I do?

      I haven't lost strength in them or anything, In fact I can actually pick up heavy things as long as I keep it straight but it would hurt If I rotate it

      Keep your therapy appointment next week! They'll be able to fully assess you and recommend specific and individualized exercises or strategies for you. Ask about the wrist widget, and if that would be something the therapist would recommend for you!! I hope it'll help a lot.

    hi, my mri said thinning of the central TFCC without focal defect, findings can be seen under ulnar abutment syndrome. What does this mean?]

      Sounds like the ulna bone is positioned too far down (actually very common, about 25% of people have this) and over time that has caused the TFCC ligament to wear down. Sounds like not a full thickness (complete) tear since they say “thinning.”

      @@hassana220 I would recommend talking to your doctor about what the MRI means. Sounds like not a full tear, but may have some thinning or weakening of the TFCC which might be causing pain for you. But I'd talk to your doctor about the results and what the next steps are for treatment for you.

    Hello, should I expect slight pain when doing stretches at the start of therapy? Also I am wearing a wrist widget, should I do the stretches with the widget on, or take it off?

      Normal usually to have some discomfort with stretching, but make sure it isn’t extremely painful. You have to distinguish hurt from harm, which can be tricky. You can take the widget off to stretch, or leave it on - it’s more about what’s comfortable for you.

      @@ForwardTherapy thank you. I have had tfcc pain for over a year. I have been doing stretches and wearing a wrist widget for 2 weeks and have seen a massive improvement. I can do day to day activities with much less pain. I even managed to do press ups (closed fist, not palm down) pain free for first time in a long while. Thanks for the video and advice!

    What if my tfcc is gone? I broke off the tip of the ulnar and it is surgically removed without repairing tfcc years ago.

      It is a common procedure to debride instead of repair the TFCC!

    I’m worried Im 17 I found out I have this because i been improperly lifting things at UPS but I continue to go to work with the “proper way of lifting” I go to work with a brace it’s help keep the pain in control and I feel more strength when I make a fist with it on but without It feels a somewhat weak i don’t what I should do if I have to take time of work or what I don’t want this have this forever

    I had a distal radius fracture 4.5 months ago.
    I got operated and got a plate and seven screws..
    I also broke my ulna head, the corner of ulna which the doctor said would heal itself
    I m an avid tennis lover..
    After 3 months the doctor said i can start playing again..and advised me to use 2kg dumbbells for wrist strengthening exercises.
    I guess while doing supination with it, i hurt my tfcc..
    Then i went to play tennis and inflated my pain even more..
    Its been 1.5 months since then..
    My bones seems to have recovered . I can get good extension and flexion..
    But as soon as i do supination pronation it hurts a lot .. the wrist is quite stiff after operation..
    The ulna side pain is there in ulnar deviation.
    The doctor feels the pain is part of my healing process..
    But i feel i have hurt my TFCC..
    what should i do now?
    Can i ever play tennis again..?

      It’s common to have ligament injuries after a fracture that get missed initially! It’s common to have ulnar wrist pain for a period of time after the fracture, but you may want to check with your doctor to see if they think it’s normal in your case or if something else might be going on

    I hung a weight off a wooden dowel and raise and lower with forearms, open and close my hand in rice, and just started using dumbells for pronation and supination. Almost 200lbs with my grip strength trainers. Still not 100% but im probably 85% there.

    I fell down a flight of stairs and fractured my wrist and elbow years and years ago. To this day, I still have discomfort in my left wrist. I saw a hand specialist and he said I may have cartilage damage, but he really did not recommend anything to help. I think I might have TFCC damage. Is there anything I can do to improve it so late post injury?

      So sorry about that! You can certainly try some strengthening, and maybe a wrist widget or other wrist support. I’d see if your doc will refer you to a hand therapist to get a custom exercise program!

    Hi. Kelly I'm from the Philippines I've been suffering from a wrist injury right now but my doctor diagnosed me with ECU tendonitis. But when I checked my MRI there were findings there in my TFCC include: 'thickening with intermediate signals of the styloid and my foveal attachments of the triangular fibrocartilage.
    and in my impression l include "remote injury or degeneration of the styloid and foveal attachments of the triangular fibrocartilage proper." Can you please tell me what the meaning is this is this a mild or severe tfcc? Thank you.

    Hello ma'am
    I injured my wrist about 4 months ago and the pain wasn't going. Did a MRI and found that there's a tear. What should I do, should I go for a surgery?

    Hello can it heal without surgery, i have no pain at al ( just when i twist my wrist) i have no splint and can i workout without pain or is it bad for the tfcc tear

      Sometimes it doesn’t need to have surgery. It can be difficult for TFCC tears to repair naturally as there is a large portion that doesn’t have good blood supply. But sometimes doing stabilization exercises and modifying your activities can help!

    Hi, I injured my wrist about a year ago playing golf and ever since I've had a popping and clicking feeling when I rotate my wirst. It's on the backside of the ulnar side of the wrist, right around the ulnar styloid. It did hurt for a while but now it is pretty painless even when it pops. It will ache a bit if I do some sort of activity that aggravates it. I kind of ignored it for a while but I rested it for 8 weeks recently whilst wearing a splint but that doesnt seem to of made a difference. Rotating the wrist is the only thing that causes the popping, I can do everything else pretty much fine. Do you think it's TFCC? Should I get a wrist widget? Maybe it's ECU? Any help would be amazing. Thankyou!

      Hmm it could be TFCC! It’s hard to say without doing a clinical exam. I’d recommend seeing a doctor to ensure you don’t have an instability underlying!

      @@ForwardTherapy okay thankyou. After doing some more research it seems like its ECU subluxation. Im going to see a physiotherapist in a few weeks. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to help? Just rest and wear a splint?

      Avoid the snapping as much as possible! Yes, would recommend using a brace and resting, avoid rotation of the forearm

      @@ForwardTherapy Hi I just had another question if thats okay. I did the 'weight bearing test' on my injured wrist to try and find out if it was tfcc related, however I've found that I have no problem with weight bearing in my injured wrist. I can push around the same weight as my normal wrist without any pain, however it does ache a little after. So does this definitely rule out a TFCC issue? Thankyou!

    Mam please help me i injured my hand from doing boxing 2 years ago, my xray and mri reports are normal but my wrist is in pain , dull pain feels all the time, should i go for surgery or not, can it heal itself or not ?😭

      I honestly think a lot of times having pure immobilization for a period of time can be very helpful! But that’s up to the preference of the doctor

    Can you be so kinde and tell us what to do if you have tried everything and nothing is working.
    And what will the doc say or do.. whats the end game?
    I cant be imobilized like this for 10 weeks more

      I would recommend checking in with a doctor. They can do imaging and exam, to give you an idea of what your injury is, and the severity, as well as prognosis. That is truly dependent on each individual case.

    Hey I developed a sort of ulnar sided wrist pain (got the term from the internet ofc) and the pain seems to come when I'm doing puhsups. or when I'm opening jars and stuff. I don't know if I should go visit a doctor for this. Could this heal on its own?

      @@ForwardTherapy Okay. Will there be some sort of cast that could be used? And if so, is there a probability that my workouts have to stop? Because I've seen that doing stuff like pushups and pullups aren't hurting when I change my grip. Because I've heard that tendon recovery could take upto 8 weeks!! Will that mean I'll have to be inactive for such a long period? Really sorry to keep bothering you with so many questions. Its just that working out is the one fun and productive thing I'm doing during these ceazy times 😅

      Yeah I understand!! It depends, I think it’s hard for me to give advice without seeing your exact case and without diagnostic studies like X-ray or MRI if needed. Depends on the severity! Sometimes people can continue working out but may have to modify certain activities.

    Hello ma’am. Been having a TFCC tear for about 2/3 months. At first i took 10 weeks completely off. No straining of the wrist. It didnt get much better. Right now im in hand therapy. But my question is if i can still lift weights if the excercise doesnt hurt my wrist.
    I cant just do nothing for 6 months so do you think i can still lift weights if it doesnt hurt?

      Yeah! I don’t want to step on any toes, but I recommend proximal strengthening (shoulder, chest, back) for my patients after TFCC tear, especially after taking time off and resting as you have! I would avoid any movements that cause twisting or rotation with weights (like bicep curls that rotate), and any weighted exercises that cause pain. Wouldn’t recommend body weight exercises like push ups or pull ups.

      Forward Therapy ohh that suckss. I do avoid those excercises. My pain only comes with twisting the wrist. I can train with heavy dumbells and machines and i dont feel any pain. Do you think this is still recomendable? I just need to excercise to get my mind of school etc...

      Personally if you don’t have pain, I think it’s fine! I think strengthening without pain is actually helpful. I would talk with your hand therapist as well, as they’re actually providing treatment to you and would know more about your specific case. But I often recommend strengthening (without pain, of course) for TFCC injuries outside of the acute phase of recovery!

    I got a mri scan doctor told me I torn my meniscus but I don't have pain in the day only when iam turning my wrist in the gym with weights
    He told me I need surgery 😪 recovery takes 3 to 5 months

    It screwed up my whole hand. Now have tenosynovitis in same hand from over compensation. The hand therapists unfortunately haven't done much and the excercises were way to painful

Ie diagnosis X: what are some typical goals/deficits, what are interventions you use to address these. Additionally, things like if there was a different surgery performed, different timelines from onset, etc. how would you have approached the client differently?

      TFCC injuries can be very persistent! They often require modification of activities and sometimes functional bracing or splinting options can be helpful. It depends on the person and individual case, prognosis is something that you should discuss with a doctor who has examined you !

    my wrist has been hurting for about 4 weeks now , my range of movement is good and i don't feel much pain while doing pretty much everything i do on a daily basis , anyhow it still does hurt when putting wieght on it like for example when in a pushup position or when lifting heavy things with my hand. do you have any tips? should i do some strenghtening exercises or just wait till the pain is completely gone even in doing those things?

      @@emanueleferretti6117 oh no! That sounds painful. because of the mechanism of injury you might want to see a doctor and have them check for TFCC tear. Usually they'll recommend a course of conservative treatment (if the tear isn't too bad) which includes a wrist splint for 4-6 weeks, gentle range of motion exercises, inflammation control, and avoiding weight bearing/provocative activities.

      TFCC doesn’t usually heal on its own, but sometimes people don’t need surgery to continue to live their lives. It really depends! Stretch and use ice after activity, you might try a wrist widget or other brace. Eventually you can strengthen it! I’d check with a doctor and see if they can recommend hand therapy for you

      I’m sorry to hear that!! Sometimes clicks in the joints will click or crack due to inflammation, scar tissue. It’s not uncommon for sprains to take several months to heal, unfortunately.

      They can’t see the ligament on X-ray! It usually helps them rule out other issues though like fracture, arthritis, bony issue

      If a tissue is thinning, it can’t regenerate. So pain can improve, but you need to modify or change the way you do activities, focus on ergonomics positioning to help!

It is really frustrating to realize it can't regenerate :( I have just turned 42 and my physiotherapist insists that I am too young and it can heal and I have had 4 physio sessions for it so far. I feel I am paying in vain for physiotherapy, now. I am Canadian, in Toronto. These days my my pinky fingers both hands, in the fingers next to pinky are also sort of painful, like burning or electric shock; is it normal with TFCC? Writing with a pen is too hard for me now.

      That sounds like the ulnar nerve could be irritated as well!
      So the hard thing with TFCC injuries is that it will take a loooong time, months to a year or so to fully heal. Have you looked at the wristwidget.com site? A CHT that designed a brace for TFCC injuries but has lots of awesome education for patients on there!

    Hey , i have had a tfcc tear for over 6 months with the first 2 being very painful on my right hand , but being a medical student with a busy schedule and studying on a daily definitely made it worse , during the 4th month I was able to gain some strength carrying things of up to 4 kgs but exams which strained my hand again has put me back at the start , and not only that but the excess stress on my left hand caused it to have the exact same symptoms of a TFCC tear. Ive stopped Physiotherapy for 3 months and have been doing some exercise now and then. What is your say on this ?

      the symptoms can be persistent - recovery can take a long time and it's easy to aggravate the tissues again as you're healing.

      I’m sorry to hear that! Typically you want to avoid activities that cause pain (usually loading with rotation or twisting), and sometimes using something like a wrist widget to improve stability at the wrist helps!

      @@shivanshmundra9654 yeah, that's what I most commonly hear from people after TFCC tear. Try not to do those activities with load (weight or force) if at all possible. Sometimes strengthening the stabilizing muscles will help (like ECU and PQ as seen in this helpful instructional video th-cam.com/video/PyRIcO0WAjg/w-d-xo.html )

    Hey Kelly! Around a year ago I was stretching my wrists and one of the stretches I performed was the hands in the prayer position stretch. I was fine until I did the reverse version of that where my hands are in that prayer position but my fingers are pointed down and I bring my hands up. I felt pain afterwards and it has been that way ever since. I’ve done research and it seems it’s a very complicated area. Sometimes it pops but not often. That area is more swollen than the opposite wrist in that area. There’s no pain when I perform any compression test. I do feel pain (not horrible but worrisome) when deviating the wrist and if I press in on that area I feel it. It doesn’t stop me from doing anything I want to do, but I know something is obviously wrong. I understand you can’t diagnose my issue, but being that area is so complex and could potentially be several different things. If it was a tear would I be able to compress it or continue normal activities like playing guitar? Thank you for making such videos and your willingness to share your knowledge to help others.

      I’m sorry it’s been painful ever since! Is it painful on the dorsal wrist? Or on the ulnar side? If there’s a tear, it doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t do activities, it depends. Sometimes tears can heal on their own, sometimes they don’t heal but you can strengthen the surrounding musculature and stabilize things, sometimes you need surgery to fix them. I’m not sure if that’s helpful at all but let me know if I can answer any more questions! Tell me a little more about where it hurts!

      Ok! Could be TFCC but there are other things it could be, too...I know you said deviation ulnarly causes the pain. Anything else that makes it feel more painful? Is it painful with weight bearing (like push up position)? With rotation (palm up and down)?

      Forward Therapy So push-ups (weight bearing) doesn’t cause any pain, but if I put my hand in the supination position (it’s my right hand btw) and with my left hand force a little more rotation to my right hand I can feel pain. It’s never the kind of pain that puts me in agony, but it’s pain.

      @@jayrenfrow6011 Is the pain kind of on the backside of the ulnar side of the wrist? Like around the ulnar styloid (that big round bone)? Do you ever get popping or snapping with forearm rotation? Could be ECU tendon...

      depends on where you're at in your recovery! if it just happened I wouldn't recommend it.

      @@ForwardTherapy its been 3 months mri report says " partial injury of ulnar foveal attachment of tfcc with early mucoid degeneration " i am really afraid my pain its not going

      Ugh sorry to hear that! It’s not uncommon for TFCC injuries to have lasting pain with certain movements or activities. Are you being followed by a doctor?

      @@ForwardTherapy Yeah I’ve been referred for an ultrasound but it’s been 4 months and I still haven’t even heard anything back which is a pain in the ass
