My friend had a 74. That was read the shifter in that is cool if you pull it down to low one or a first gear in the automatic when you're ready to shift instead of tapping it forward. These episodes kinda fall out of the camera the way they go... sure lots of edits... nobody wants to see every second go by, but it's 99% mostly real. Thanks for the props man!
I did learn something… I never knew that about unibody cars and rust. I had, for a minute, a 65 Thunderbird. The floors were gone so my dad, being helpful, put two Do Not Enter signs in place! Great video
I remember when that car was new. I was 14 at the time. A neighbor bought a new gold color Type LT. I've had two second gen Camaros. a '79 Berlinetta and an '80 Z28. That was back in the mid-late '80s. They were in near new condition. AZ cars, zero rust. I remember being upset over a few scratches in the paint. I can only imagine what those cars would be worth today in that condition.
“Shut up”. I actually laughed out loud at that. I was feeling your pain. Glad you are here Kevin, it’s a great platform fit for you! Been a fan since your first day on another network
Love this project and the conversion from 74 to 70 is awesome. The 74 isn't a Z/28 so you're not ruining a classic Z 👍🏻 saw Stacy David doing a similar project but his Camaro didn't have the correct rear glass like yours so I'm looking forward following this project. Side note I really missed watching all the power block stuff and I was really excited when I found your channel 👍🏻

I greatly appreciate getting to follow along with you analyzing cars like this. I've been playing with cars for almost 45 years and your lessons are valuable. As an aside - nothing makes me feel older than pushing a car, I felt your pain (I swear I stop half the time to see if a brake has seized). Hoping this is the beginning of a series on this car. Thank you as always ~ Chuck
You took the thought right out of my mind. I'd make a 70 split bumper Camero as well cause it's a good idea and a good start for building the car that you would rather have...
LOVE Camaros!! Second gen my favorite. My only Camaro, '76 base model with a 305/auto upgrade and nothing else. Radio delete, the engine was the only music I needed! Lol. Oh yeah, orange with black interior made it look sportier than it actually was. All for $1,700 Canadian in the early '90s. Really enjoyed driving the car for almost 6 years as is(was)! ✌🇨🇦
One thing is for sure, Kevin does not get the credit that He deserves. I've been watching him since Power block TV days as a young teen. I learned how to rebuild motors do body work and " everything" else !!!! Super stoked about this build, looking forward for the next videos on this build. HOOTS

I feel the same way about 2nd gen Firebirds that you do about 2nd gen Camaros, so I can relate to a lot of this. I can almost smell the mouse pee as you cleaned those nests out lol. There were a ton of nests in the last Firebird I owned. I miss those cars! I'm glad to see you saving this one.
Glad I stumbled upon your channel. I have all your videos even back into your long hair days lol. I use to watch them when I was in Iraq and Korea back when I was still military. Thanks for all the info and tech through the years!
Thank you Kevin for pushing that car with your legs! I was taught that way back in the early 90’s when I was driving a tow truck. It’s the most direct route from the ground to the car, doesn’t involve your joints for your hands to your feet, and is way better for your back😂👍🏻💪🏻
Glad that VGG showed your work on the give away truck! This is a project to follow I like your style I am subbed looking forward to more Hi from Australia 😊
My cousin had a yellow '74 with a black vinyl top. Her neighbor had a nice red '72 Firebird Esprit. I love the front ends on the '70-'73 Firebirds / Trans Ams.
I always wondered what happen to this Camaro. I've been a huge F-Body guy my whole life. I'm happy to see someone gave the Camaro love and attention. Especially the roof lol
Gonna be a great one to follow along with mate! 100% the right choice to make it a 70 not a 74, why make it ugly again lol. Obviously the vinyl roof was on there for a long time trapping the water on the surface of the skin and not leaking into the car at all with that serious lack of rust on all the frame work inside. It's gonna be great!!
I love 2nd Gen Camaros! I'm gonna do all I can to bring this one back!

And as far as what other people have to say about how you build your car maybe they should have bought it before you got ahold of it if they wanted to see it done a certain way
These episodes kinda fall out of the camera the way they go... sure lots of edits... nobody wants to see every second go by, but it's 99% mostly real. Thanks for the props man!
Glad to hear you’re doing a 70’ front end and taillights that’s the best Camaro ever in my opinion
Pulled me in with the title. Kept me here with the content. Great work, brother. Subscribed.
Thanks man!!! Glad you're here!
So easy to watch your stuff Kevin I came across you working with Derek you guys are easy to listen to and follow so I'll keep watching when I get time too many shows are over the top and I lose interest thanks Man
last few minutes of the video. where you jumped around. i think misplacing footage. was confusing 😵💫 but i like seeing the ol girl found a new loving home!
The split bumper RS front end is the Sexiest front end ever. Fantastic choice.
HOOTS
Oh man I really want to see a full series rebuild of this, nice work got my hands itching!! 💪
It was great seeing Kevin and Derrick working on that old Ford truck together!
The years with those bulky steel bumpers are my favorite Camaros. Had hoped to find one some day.. Love the door dollies
I have a 1974 Camaro LT had it since I was in high school school I’m 57 years old old now but I take it out on the weekends 👍
I found your channel after seeing you on Between the Aisles! It was awesome to see you again after watching you for years on TV. I really look forward to this project!
Thanks man!
It’s the most direct route from the ground to the car, doesn’t involve your joints for your hands to your feet, and is way better for your back😂👍🏻💪🏻
PLUS! your quads are a pretty strong muscle group! even if you're "old an give-out" like me!
Glad that VGG showed your work on the give away truck! This is a project to follow I like your style I am subbed looking forward to more Hi from Australia 😊
Kevin, I can't wait to see where you take this car! Keep the videos coming. :)
That's the plan!
My cousin had a yellow '74 with a black vinyl top. Her neighbor had a nice red '72 Firebird Esprit. I love the front ends on the '70-'73 Firebirds / Trans Ams.
When you pulled that front bumper, my first thought was to replace it with a split! 👏🏾👏🏾
I always wondered what happen to this Camaro. I've been a huge F-Body guy my whole life. I'm happy to see someone gave the Camaro love and attention. Especially the roof lol
I am stoked to watch this series.glad to see those bumpers go.
You got me, I am adding you to my subscription list, looking forward to seeing this car project journey.
Glad to find Kevin on TH-cam! I'm subscribed now! Been watching him over the years.
Thanks for the sub!!
Pretty awesome to see someone take one of Derek's rescues and make something of it.
Sometimes the planets align!! :)
My 91 T/A need floor pans you know the T top woah's I never wanted a t top car but now it's I love it
