She is my hero for taking on living and 20th century composers . Makes sense :she knows how to think about the music .
Some fearless technique with great intelligence and imagination. Interesting thoughts on programming, showing that there are closer parallels between those two composers than might be expected.
I do not see any problem with playing Regard de l'esprit de joie alone or as first piece.
Who knew that Two Set Eddy could play Messiaen!? 🤣
She might better concentrate on *how* to play it - her recording of this has fistfuls of wrong notes.

Noone makes recordings with wrong notes -it's too easy to tape a section or correct it . This is an obvious lie !
@@MrInterestingthings Listen to the recording and hear for yourself. She either doesn't know the music well enough herself, or just thinks "It's 'difficult' modern music, no one will know..." Either way, unforgiveable.
For those reading in the future, I highly recommend checking out her recording!! You can judge for yourself, but to my ears it was a really musical (and accurate!) Interpretation
