- Full time RV living in a class A motorhome this video finds us in the Fishtrap Recreational Area which is BLM land in Washington state. Boondocking on BLM land can be a great way to help make RV life affordable. In this RV lifestyle video we go scouting free camping locations to save money while RV living full time on the road. While out scouting Washington BLM land I found a few different RV boondocking options along with many spots for you van lifers out there. I know that Nomadic Fanatic has really cut back on his boondocking and is spending much more time in RV parks, but Campervan Kevin certainly takes advantage of a lot of free camping options.

If you have basic tools and skills, try Taskrabbit. It's owned by Ikea. Mounting Tv's, hanging pictures, furniture assembly, etc... There's a lot of different categories & you can work in most major cities. Pay ranges from $25-150 per hour depending on the city. You set your rates & they get 30% above that. The more reviews & jobs you do, the higher you can raise your rates and still get hired. I make $4000 per month without a problem.

Thanks, I prefer the short term so that I can move around. Staying put for long periods ways heavy on my heart and really doesn't seem to improve the money situation much. Not to mention my channel dies off everytime I stay in one spot working for awhile.

If you go north of there to town of harrington they have a golf course that has an RV park and it's only 450 plus electric per month full hookups

I felt like I knew her from somewhere as her voice is very distinctive and then when she told me her name and said she used to be on your channel , I realized where i knew her from.

Hey James. There are two Indian casinos located on highway 2 west of Spokane in Airway Heights. Spokane Tribal Casino is free parking and Kalispel Tribal Casino has a RV resort which is closer to Spokane. You should check it out at least get you closer to Spokane and it would be safer for your rig. There's also a Cabela's on the Wa-Idaho state line if your work is in Spokane Valley. Good luck.

@@WanderlustEstate My bad. These spots are more likely for overnite parking except for the rv resort. Not much free camping is to be found close to Spokane. Sorry.

Should be a nice place for folks to do some free camping.
There is no perfect vehicle to live in. A class A has all the comforts but there are a lot of places that aren't RV friendly. Been there done that. Being able to stand is great. Keep safe and have fun.
It looks like you could back into some of those spots.

When are you getting a tow kit?
As soon as I can afford one. I already would have accept my health insurance wouldn't pay for my contacts. New prescription process cost $1800 and counting. So, have to wait on towing set up.

I am in Spokane looking for some BLM land to stay on for a couple of days is there any way you could let me know of any BLM land in Spokane the location?
There is BLM land outside Spokane to the Southwest. Although to access any BLM land you'd need to be 45-60 outside of Spokane
How are you able to move both vehicles?
Have to have help to drive it. Friend drove me to go get car when I moved out here. My brother is helping me move to Lewiston. Health care costs have kept me from affording a tow set up. My insurance wouldn't pay for my new Scleral lenses. So, that killed me getting tow set up. Just had to pay for MRI because my blood work suggests my tumor is back. I hope to have money for tow set up after my Lewiston job.

By the way, I've camped with James over at Quinault Beach Resort and Casino a few years back with Eric (NF), Mike (Living Free), Carolyn (Caravan Carolyn) and I reached out to him when he was in the Tri-Cities to hit me up when he got closer to Spokane and I would help him out. This is one place I was going to suggest but he never contacted me.
