    Is it any surprise the public has a continuing disdain, distrust and (often) disrespect for the police when they totally ignore the public like that!?
    I’m 63 and was brought up to respect the police. Fat chance now. It’s getting worse!

    Total disdain for the law and the public. How disappointing. No good expecting respect if you don’t give it officers. You see the public’s perception of the police sink lower every day and don’t take even small steps to restore it. I was told as a child if you are in trouble find a policeman. I wouldn’t tell my grandchild that today. I find that upsetting.

    The lady on the desk did absolutely brilliantly with him except for, in part, justifying the dirty vans. We need to be able to identify their plates and the dirty mirrors are a concern for the safety of Police, their passengers and everyone else on the road. Servicing and cleaning of Police vehicles should be a well-oiled machine.

    Absolute ignorance and lack of even common decency but typical ofthe entire entity that is Police Scotland. The auditor should try coming to BLAIRGOWRIE Police Station where not only do they see themselves as above the law by parking where they shouldn't but the Police Ofgicers also misappropriate Police Scotland property and display it in a prominent position within their own personal vehicles to pervert the course of justice by avoiding getting a Fixed Penalty Notice which would be issued to any other member of the Public.

  • @ameliagfawkes512

    Plenty of people die in the course of their duties across the country, even if that's scaffolding or whatever. It's sickening that these people place their sacrifice above the sacrifice of others. I wonder who footed the bill for the plaque - it looked expensive?

  • @ameliagfawkes512
    @ameliagfawkes512 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    To be honest, I think your vehicle would have to be much dirtier than that before the Police would stop you - you can read the plate and it can get into that state within no time with grit on the roads. The front desk lady was very pleasant. If the Police were equally professional and accommodating, the public would have no problem with them at all. We do need Police and we want Police, but they're reacting far too much to political, divisive policies instead of dealing with actual crime.

Aside from being camera shy, their rudeness and pisspoor performance is staggering to see. They even make the worst of dodgy American cops/sheriffs appear to be paragons of virtue even allowing for their regular brutality towards the public.

      I think it's more to do with bad to illegal policing in Scotland, and of course, the hostile and ignorant way members of the public are treated, And if you look at "man in the high castles" TH-cam video's how bad Scotlands court systems are, on minor charges its guilty till proven innocent, and sometimes where one cops word means far more than it should

      @paul Walsh Several things have changed over the years my views on Police Scotland, firstly I helped a friend who was becoming a solicitor/barrister as his first language was not English, and what I saw surprised me, Police telling lies, at first I thought it was just different lines of the same story or badly recalled interactions, but over time I saw in and out of court Police officers "getting their story straight" and again the court process can be difficult for some people. I saw old coppers refer to notes far more than the young officers, and that fact alone led to terrible appearances in court. In several cases, charges dropped as two policemen contradicted each other.
      On a personal level, I assisted a gentleman who had a young lady bleeding outside a police box. He asked for help, lady had been attacked by a burglar as she returned home. He couldn't get an answer at the box, I went round the back and banged on the back door, and when finally opened, I found 6-8 officers playing pool, and behind them cctv showing the front of the box with the young girl and old man clearly visible. The outcome was the chief constable said, "They were entitled to a tea break" To be honest, I have many more, but it for me came to a head after during jury duty I heard the opinion of the jurors after police testimony (none of it good) and some stories were horrific

    What a waste of everyone's time. Harassing and trying to tie up emergency workers with a vexatious complaint about parking.
    I'm sure the people of Hamilton who need police in a hurry will be happy that the emergency vehicle is in a position where it can get out quickly.
    Stop being a nuisance and let people get on with their work.
