- Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited were taking a look at a AMAZING Fulltime 5th wheel! This is a 2020 Keystone Avalanche 396BH. This is a huge luxury 5th wheel that has Bunk Beds and 2 full bathrooms also an outside kitchen! I absolutely love this 5th wheel. Another great feature about this 5th wheel is that is has a rear door leading into the 2nd bathroom. So if your camping and BBQ outside, if someone wants to use the Bathroom they can use the back door so they dont drag mud in the RV.

Personally, I like the bunkhouse area. Granted I don't even know anyone with kids, but I'd use it as my office.
If Matt keeps getting up into any more of those "athletic" type Lofts, I see a chiropractor in his future. I loved the headboard, it gives you a feel of a real headboard design. The headboard wouldn't look so big with some euro pillow shams or regular pillow shams.
I like the two bed and all the features in the 2nd bed it was cool
I can’t pick 3 dislikes because this is amazing 😍 minus the carpeting and bedroom headboard (those are minor and can be customizable) I have nothing but love for this motor home! So great!

I love everything about it, with the exception of it not having a dining area. Also, it would be nice to have an office/workspace area, as It's important to have a working space when you're a full-time RVer. One suggestion is a desk/hutch area, is to add a flip out table top to the kitchen hutch cabinet located near the entrance.
I like the headboard. I could sit up and read in bed very comfortably. I don't like that there's no skylight in the bunk bathroom. Love the long couch with the option of a dining table still. I like the shades. Love the awning on the slideout and the outside kitchen.
Hmm that’s interesting. Some of those fifth wheels with the same exact floor plans have the washer on one side of the closet and dryer hook ups on the other side. I do love they put a big long couch in there instead of a booth dinette. The backboard is awesome in the bedroom. It ads character to the wall instead of the usual plain wall and padding for when it gets a little rough in bed😉

This 5th wheel almost passed with an A. It is still amazing except for the shorter shower. My 16 year old is almost 6 feet 3 inches tall, but well he will just have to duck a bit. Lol!

Omg, I absolutely love that you went up in the bunks. And coming down was freaking awesome!! There's absolutely no way that I could do that these days lol. My dadgum rheumatoid arthritis makes it so if I climbed up there I'd be there till my dying breath 😌

I really like this one. I agree that there should be a fold down bunk in the back, also if they would have made the over head bunk a little shorter on the one side they could have flipped the shower to where the vanity was and the shower could have been way taller. Other than that this is a great unit.
Great review, I honestly love the passion you 2 have of making honest reviews!!! Now I know some people might not care, but could you go over the difference in brand levels? For instance from avalanche to the next step in rv? Can you do it for multiple brands as well?

Hi Matt and Andrea! I just found this video from last year it says. I love this fifth wheel bunkhouse. Thus one is my favorite one so far that I have seen. This one I didn’t get to see before because it was before I saw your channel. This was when your sticker first started. But anyways, here is my dislikes. I don’t have many dislikes. Just one and that is the vents in the floor. I can deal with it though because I love the fifth wheel. It has a really nice bunkhouse. It even has storage for the kids clothes and all that.
That’s the only thing I dislike is the vents in floor. Everything else is great. Love the outdoor kitchen and the living room. Love the couch and it has 2 full baths that are nice size bathrooms. The kids bath the shower could be a little taller but it will do. Thank you Matt and Andrea I could full time in this fir sure.
For the rear bathroom, it would have been easier if the rear steps were deployed out to show how much larger a space the bathroom is and to show how much more comfortable the rear bathroom is without the steps folded up.
Also, I'd have sacrificed one overhead bunk to increase the ceiling height in the bathroom and instead have the bunk on the slide out
The headboard in the master bedroom is nuvo-art deco! It’s hilarious that Matt doesn’t like it.

Great 5th wheel love Keystone , the bunk room not a fan needs a do over . And that shower kid's these day's are not short . But over all it not a bad unit. And again love that outside kitchen I want one .

I love the kitchens
It would have been nice, since there isn’t a table/chairs, if they would have made the island with an overhang and bar stools. And the shower in the kids’ room couldn’t be any taller because of the beds overhead. Good review!

1. I wish the outside kitchen had a cook top hooked up already
2. Smaller head board and then storage up above that
3. Would rather have a residential oven

Big difference between the two bathrooms. They clearly intend for the front bathroom to be used by those who are paying for the 5th wheel, and the back bathroom to be used by non-paying guests.

They need to put a shelf where the headboard should be and a window above it! Get more natural lighting in there.
I really don't get the "need more extra natural light in the bedroom". You sleep in there! It's supposed to be darker in there to sleep.

I always hate the extra bunkbed in the bunkhouse because I have 1 kid and we dont need yet another bed. I am concerned my son will quickly be too tall for that shower!

I also dislike a the floor vents, impossible to keep clean, the carpet on the couch slide and bedroom. I love the refrigerator, outdoor kitchen and the awnings. Matt, I wish you would let us know where the breakers and fuses in the RV's, I am an older, rotund women with bad knees and it very hard for me when the breakers and fuses are on the floor (I have a 2009 Cyclone and standing on my head to check fuses or breakers is pain)
Do all the outside doors lock including the propane and wet bay doors?
I also forgot to mention how Andrea is pretty much on point with her design tips!

Love this 5th wheel bunk house my overall favorite so far.{L} The couch with table attachment is a great idea,[ love the outside kitchen, and the back bath door.D] don't like the tv so close to oven/stove, both showers are not made for tall people, dont like the rug.

Things I don’t like: outside kitchen - no stovetop or grill, not gen prepped ( I feel larger 5th wheels should be) no dinette - I don’t like 1 long couch - could be trifold or theater seats w/ free standing or booth - kids need clear dng for less mess! Stuff I do like: Bunk rm has its own bath w/ separate entry, rather spacious for being a bunkhouse model, color scheme is nice although “farmhouse” would be nicer lol

So I am just wondering are the couches fake leather because. I travel with dogs and where I live it is very hot, and those to thing combined means that our couch is torn to shreds, we had to replace it. So if I were to buy this 5th wheeler I would need to know if there is any fake leather
The back bathroom: what were they thinking? That ladder's well in the way... I mean... sure, swing a leg the can when you're empty, but if... your slinky is getting stinky, not a chance of making it when the ladder's up! Short shower, too. The ladder to the fun loft (I'm 60 and would really dig sleeping up there!) also is in the way of that internal bathroom door... Oh look! at 15 min 18 a vent in the floor in a silly place: close to the sink and food prep area? N'uh-huh. That'll get gooped up! Too many of these things have those kitchen islands, as well... they clutter up the living space in my view.
Otherwise, the decor, the overall layout, is pretty spectacular at that price.

When the trailer is parked, you'd have the ladder on the outside so that wouldn't be an issue.
I disagree with the bunk house portion, I think its perfect. It can sleep 4 people and retains a window and when hanging out with the kids less chance of bumping my head
