It was awesome meeting you all at the rally. We loved the time together and appreciate you filming our rig. Great video and we wish you the best! 💚 P.S. Chad & Tara's rig is awesome!
My two favorite women in the RV world in one video, life just doesn't get any better. Interesting rigs. I'll probably never have a toy hauler because I have other ways of transporting my motorcycle but the concepts were interesting. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
The prototype is amazing .. however I do love an actual living room area .. I love the RVs with the front living room .. I would put my living room in the toy hauler area .. so more people can enjoy .... However love the 2nd couple's bedroom idea .. So soooo happy for Chad.and Tara ... They are such an amazing couple .. 🥰
Great video on seeing these Grand Design fifth wheels. I like them both. Thank you Nathan and Marissa for showing these fifth wheels. Have a great rest of the week! Safe travels.
This video was awesome. I really like the 2nd toy hauler. I love the master bedroom with all those windows. I have a lot of windows in my house. Sending many prayers and love to you and your family.
Wow 1StrangeAdventure did an INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL remodel 🥰🥰🥰 You are now officially in trouble Nathan 🤣🤣🤣 Marrisa will run amok 🫣 Safe Travels guy's ❤️
WOW! I love these models! Since we're just weekenders, I prefer a smaller rig for simplicity, but if we ever went full time or were traveling a lot more, I'd love one of these! And I agree... master in the back!
I've never ever found a better layout than the front kitchen mid living room all on upper level, bath and bedroom then garage at the back, two huge pass thrus. XLR Nitro 405 seriously insane smart layout
Great video: my wife and I have had a toy hauler for 4 yrs. We bought ours and modified it to support my wife electric wheel chair. It’s a great platform with a lot of possibilities. Safe travels to you and your family.
I just love RV tours! My new favorite Grand Design is the 395MS...it's a Momentum M Series and actually has the bedroom set up we love AND somewhere for everyone to sit in the livingroom! Seriously thinking of this one if Mom comes with us on our full time journey! OH! Happy Fall Y'all!
Omg!!! That second one is brilliant!!! I tell ya my bedroom in my new camper has the bed to the wall with the 2 doors. I feel like making 2 twin beds in there and having some walk room. I’m sure my husband won’t mind. LOL 😂😂😂
Marissa has some work lined up for you Nathan. Best be prepared! Both RV’s are awesome. Great job making the changes in the toy hauler and the new RV prototype. Have they ever thought of switching the stive and the refrigerator location? Put the fridge where the stove is. I know you want the weight towards the front but it might be worth a try-on! Anyway thanks for sharing. If I had it to do over again I would travel the way I always wanted to.
For the prototype toy hauler, what about a removable heat shield that would slot in right next to the tv under the cabinet while the tv is raised to protect it from heat, and can be taken down when not cooking? For the cracks in the televator maybe a runner of some kind that could cover the cracks while it’s down?
It cannot be good for the stove and TV to be next to each other. Love the bathroom set up and location. Bedroom is nice. Love the built in drawers in bedroom and linen closet in bathroom. Like that washer dryer are not in a corner. Better accessibility.
I would skip the tv and televator there in the kitchen and go with a projector mounted across from there and hang a screen above the cabinets left of stove. it doesnt solve the duality of the space as in someone trying to cook while standing in front of someone else's tv...but it gives you back a solid surface in the kitchen and your tv wouldn't get ruined b heat or a spill. in tv mode the screen can be down. if you need to access the cabinets behind it then just pause your show and raise your screen. edit: you might also reorient the view for tv and put a projection screen on one of the other walls even in\above a doorway then the tv and kitchen can coexist together.
Really nice. While not a GD, I love the living space on this one & it has 2 full baths. Would make an amazing master in the garage with a deck. Keystone Fuzion 430
If you get a chance, take a look at the new Riverstone 442MC. I believe JD at BTBRV has a review of it on his channel. It’s not a toy hauler but it’s probably one of the best floor plans out there. I only mention this as it looks like they took a toy hauler and put a living room in the garage. When you see it, think how it would be if they put a patio on the rear like a toy hauler! Hmm, could 5th wheel manufacturers put a fold down patio on certain models? As far as toy haulers go, this GD is the nicest I’ve seen. Chad and Tera did an awesome job with their input on this. It really is a great looking rig! On the 2nd toy hauler viewed, perhaps I missed it, but why didn’t they just put the kids in the garage area instead of the master bedroom? Did this unit have the loft above the garage like most toy haulers? If so, I wonder why they didn’t put one if the kids up there. The only reason I mention it is because I’d think as a girl gets older, she really needs her own space…yes?
I wonder if a projector and a pull down canvas would give the first RV more storage space where the televator is? It would also solve the heat issue next to the stove.
I would gut the garage and turn it into my soap studio.😊 Oh...the tv next to the stove is a big no no. Tv's dont do well next to extreme heat. And the oily mess cleanup....nope.
I originally was thinking of getting a toy hauler. The problem is I have a car that I can tow, and I don't have a truck. Therefore, I will be going the Motorhome route. I am also a solo female and I like the idea that if I don't feel safe, I can pull out without leaving the rig. Even if I must come back the next day to pick up my toad. Thor Outlaw is a Motorhome with a toy hauler, but the master bedroom is in the garage. That is a no go for me because the whole point was to use that space as my art studio. I don't want to deconstruct my art studio every night especially since I tend to create best between 10pm and 2am. Who would want to completely clean up and deconstruct an art studio at 2 am? Haha! Can you imagine having to put away all the tubes, and tubs of paint, and then wash out your water source for your brushes? Then stow away wet paintings someplace where they won't get smudged. Then I would have to turn around and deconstruct a sewing area. Not only that but with a sewing area I would be constantly finding lose/lost pins and needles with my feet! It's bad enough that the arms of my couch and chairs all have pins and needles stuck in them like pin cushions. Therefore, I have decided to get a Motorhome and place my drafting table permanently where one half of the jack knife couch is, and the other half can have my bean bag. I will remove the table area and build a bar/worktable for cutting fabric out and sewing. My car will be trailered because it can't be flat towed. Simply removing it will give me a studio space where I can get super messy. Will also have some exercise equipment in it. I must have a big enough rig for a washer dryer for the sake of my skin condition and Laundromats gets really upset when you bring freshly tie died fabrics in to be set in their machines. Life as an artist!
Only problem we had when we had a televator was the cat crawling down under the tv when the tv was in use. Totally NOT an easy rescue! The “crumb tray” would be a must.
I absolutely love your video's. One quick question....Is the length of these 5th wheels in the "title"? Like "Grand Design Momentum 399 THR". That would be 39'. Correct?🤔🤔
What is the industry doing to insulate these things for year around living?! We’re full time motorhome living, but have struggled with keeping Big Gus (what we named our rig) Cool enough in the summers and warm enough in the winters! Edit:Big Gus is a 2021 Jayco Precept 34G. I hate the furniture layout, so we’re gonna change that this year!
We made a stop at the RV Show and Rally, so this was our Journey the last couple of weeks. We are just trying to be helpful and film what we find interesting on our Journey. Thanks for the feedback.
Screw battle born. Glad I went with a much cheaper option. But now I have a 1200 watt system with 800 wh and it cost a fraction of the price with the same functions.
Was that beddies bedding in the garage master? Changing beding in an old rv was the worst thing ever! And not even bedies would fix that but i know something similar would.
I'd be concerned about the position of the tv, especially a televator, too much chance of spillage in that area. I'm a spiller, I knock things over, a tv is a bit too expensive to be ruined by a spilled drink!
Nathan & Marissa, a toy hauler is, in my opinion, what your family needs. It seems to me that you do not have enough space. It seems that you are delighted at the sight of toy trucks. Do you want to swap your current RV for a toy hauler?
The TV and the stove will not get along very well; cook splash, heat just to name a couple. The cook might be prepping/cooking when others want to watch TV.
1st) Like a televator but NOT bt a stove. Just wouldnt work for me. Rather have campside windows. Do NOT want a w/d in the bedroom closet & a pass thru bathroom. Whole thing looks awakward; especially for full time. 2nd) Intetesting how people modify these to live in fulltime. Cool that's what works for them 👍 - wouldn't for me. 😄 Really like the two patios.
They just pointed out all the negatives. And those were definitely negative. TV, above the fireplace in the kitchen? Lol Not a fan of that layout at all
It was awesome meeting you all at the rally. We loved the time together and appreciate you filming our rig. Great video and we wish you the best! 💚 P.S. Chad & Tara's rig is awesome!
Thank you so much, great to meet you guys. 😍
Toy Haulers are bar none THE best option for RVing! So versatile and the huge cargo capacity, larger tanks and built in generators are awesome!
YAY, I'm so happy y'all featured our friends Harold and Cindy Strange. I love their reconstruction of the master bedroom to the 2 beds for their kids.
They are so sweet ❤️❤️❤️. Love what they did.
Thanks guys! Great seeing you here supporting LJMJ!
I like seeing how families arrange to live fulltimenin an RV. Arranging a huge rv for a couple is easy.
There are many ways to be creative with the space!
😂😂 Nathan’s face with the ceramic coat on the rig was equal to Marissa and the bed!
Totally agree. Nathan's reaction had me laughing
My two favorite women in the RV world in one video, life just doesn't get any better. Interesting rigs. I'll probably never have a toy hauler because I have other ways of transporting my motorcycle but the concepts were interesting. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
A GREAT VIDEO GOOD TO SEE CHAD AND TARA
Loving the bathroom pass through
Thanks for bringing us along! Love Changing Lanes and 1StrangeAdventure - great channels.

Thank you! It's amazing to wake up with all the natural light, especially when you're in a cool location. 😊
It was nice to see both floor plans. I liked the 2nd one if I were to choose between them. Both are equally inviting.
I love seeing new floorplans and alterations. Thanks for sharing!
So glad, we love them as well.
Wow 1StrangeAdventure did an INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL remodel 🥰🥰🥰 You are now officially in trouble Nathan 🤣🤣🤣 Marrisa will run amok 🫣 Safe Travels guy's ❤️
Thank you! 💚
What a awesome video!!
Glad you liked it, thank you.
Love your videos. Here is just a thought on the first trailer-why not reverse the stove and refrigerator-problem solved for the tv!
Now i see why you aren't travelling. You are at the Tampa RV Show. Glad the hurricane missed it. I hope.
Hi there, we are traveling our last RV show was in Hershey, PA. 😀
Wow that was a good layout on number two. ❤
Absolutely GOR-GEOUS💯🎯... So Beautiful, Cozy & Inviting🌹💐🌸💖
WOW! I love these models! Since we're just weekenders, I prefer a smaller rig for simplicity, but if we ever went full time or were traveling a lot more, I'd love one of these! And I agree... master in the back!

WOW, very beautiful homes
Love changing lanes so funny
Thank you, great ideas!
You are so welcome!
Great vlog love seeing other RVS and layouts. Sorry for the absence been super busy. Take care and safe travels. ❤❤🇬🇧
Great job y'all
These were AWESOME! Get a toy hauler, guys!
Oh man, that makes it hard not to wanna sell the property. Those are stunning! 🤣
Thank you.
We also got to see both of these at the GDRV rally. Very impressive.
Great viewing pleasure.
Two incredible rigs! Thanks for sharing 🖖🏻👍🏻😘🙏🏻
It was our pleasure, glad you like them!

It’s like an apartment oh my it’s huge 😮

Thanks so much!
You could have pull out shelves in the slim cabinets next to bedroom and hall.
Hi!!! I’m still watching but wanted to comment on that Toy Hauler. Chad and Tara did an Awesome job on design!!! That televator
Thanks so much!!
I’d like to know more about the ceramic coating mentioned on the second rig!
2 GREAT RVS
I wonder if a projector and a pull down canvas would give the first RV more storage space where the televator is? It would also solve the heat issue next to the stove.
What sweet rigs!
Like seeing remodels.
Interesting video. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
What about doing a projector TV and mount A pull down screen above the counter??? This is the route a lot of RV’ers are going.
Could you take that back garage and put 2 bunks in it??
Most definitely! Some families I've even seen 3 bed bunks on each side to accommodate all the kids.
It just shows how it can be done.
Probably the best RV renovation video you've done. Excellent job done by both families.
Wow, thank you!
I'd be moving the camera gear somewhere else and using that storage for clothes
What park allows such massive RV? Nice
I would gut the garage and turn it into my soap studio.😊
Oh...the tv next to the stove is a big no no. Tv's dont do well next to extreme heat. And the oily mess cleanup....nope.
I love the bed in the back, but neither one of us are able to crawl over the bed.
Where did you get the l-shaped couch? We live on a small condo and I think it would fit in here.😁
This is not our RV so we are not sure. 😀
I originally was thinking of getting a toy hauler. The problem is I have a car that I can tow, and I don't have a truck. Therefore, I will be going the Motorhome route. I would like to see how a projector could come into play and replace a tv all together.
You may consider a murphy bed in the rear bunk space
That’s smart!
Only problem we had when we had a televator was the cat crawling down under the tv when the tv was in use. Totally NOT an easy rescue! The “crumb tray” would be a must.
When are y’all going to start traveling full time again? I love seeing your family living and learning from the places y’all go?????😢
We do travel full-time. We attend a couple of rallies this week and we found some cool tours show. We are doing a ton of traveling.
can the stove and oven go into the island?
I absolutely love your video's. One quick question....Is the length of these 5th wheels in the "title"? Like "Grand Design Momentum 399 THR". That would be 39'. Correct?🤔🤔
Good question, the numbers used to mean the length but not always these days.
@changinglanes what if you had the refrigerator next to the TV and the stove Microwave to the right of the fridge?
진짜 럭셔리하구만
Yes it is, thank you.
my concern is cooking spillage into televator.
Love it but no TV in the kitchen.
Is this first toy hauler available yet?! If so, what was the name? I keep missing it!
Coming soon! Changing Lanes would have more details on the release.
Some RVs are better insulated than other but overall RV don't do well in extreme heat or cold.
A tv right next to a stove? Sorry I think that's nutz. But love the video tho I learned alot.
TV should Fold/drop down from ceiling.
Put the TV in the island
Why not suggest to Chad & Tara putting in a heat resistance (oven door glass) splash guard (fat & water) on the cooker end that comes up with the TV 🤔
The "elbow" is Daisy's seat.
😂😂😂
How much does it cost to do the ceramic coating? Anybody know? TY
Don't know but $$$
Less Tours More Journey
Amen, already. 👏👍👏
We made a stop at the RV Show and Rally, so this was our Journey the last couple of weeks. We are just trying to be helpful and film what we find interesting on our Journey. Thanks for the feedback.
The biggest question! Did they fix the frame issue everyone is having?!
Our is fixed.
Why not changing the door to part of the tv space and have people just use the garage as the entrance
Don’t listen to less tours. They are great. Thanks.
We love tours, and we just happen to be in a place with lot so cool rigs. 😀
Screw battle born. Glad I went with a much cheaper option. But now I have a 1200 watt system with 800 wh and it cost a fraction of the price with the same functions.
That's great, we hope they work out for you.
Was that beddies bedding in the garage master? Changing beding in an old rv was the worst thing ever! And not even bedies would fix that but i know something similar would.
Put the range in the Island and sink in its place…
I'd be concerned about the position of the tv, especially a televator, too much chance of spillage in that area. I'm a spiller, I knock things over, a tv is a bit too expensive to be ruined by a spilled drink!

Not at the moment. 😀
@@LessJunkMoreJourney,God grant you to be fine! Good luck to you...
I do not like the clear glass shower doors!! Privacy is really important, I would want frosted!
The TV and the stove will not get along very well; cook splash, heat just to name a couple. The cook might be prepping/cooking when others want to watch TV.
1st) Like a televator but NOT bt a stove. Just wouldnt work for me.

2nd) Intetesting how people modify these to live in fulltime. Cool that's what works for them 👍 - wouldn't for me. 😄
Really like the two patios.
Why are toilets always on a angel in those?
It is often a space thing. They try to include a lot of stuff in a small space. 😀
Hahahaha hahahaha
🤭
They just pointed out all the negatives. And those were definitely negative. TV, above the fireplace in the kitchen? Lol
Not a fan of that layout at all
