Hey man, I just want to say I made it to the solo Barbarian Leaderboards in part thanks to your videos. First time I ever did so, and it was mostly through a solo grind. Your IK HotA Barb build video was very insightful.
First WD this year... i can shred stuff... but bounced back to do a t6 PL.... OMG it felt soooo slowwww... any suggestions from you other WD's on a decent WD speed farm? Ive tried the Zuni pet and the Arhyrs fire.. currently set up with my jade though.
@@WeazelNewsLucid Thats the probably the biggest downside to a lot of WD builds. They hit hard, but they hit hard slowly. As for speed builds, Manajuma+Arachyr (the chicken build) builds can easily rock t13 speed runs, and with the buffs to Arachyr this season it will be even stronger.
@@xalex4ever Why is it S Tier then is my point. I mean I LOVE Multishot, I'm soloing GR 100 absolutely no problem with it right now (didn't try higher yet), but it's place in the tier list is wrong.
It's so nice to see the game not dominated by Necro and Wizard for once. Also good to see other people playing LoN Meteor. I tried that before the LoN buffs a couple of seasons ago.
I love Rhykkers vids and I havn't played D3 in like 2-3 years now. But it's still clear that he puts a lot of work into the vids to keep them up to date with fresh and accurate information, like the weekly roundups. Also, who can resist that voice? I think invoker should be in S tier ( managed to do a 112 super easily ), Ive been pushing with it this season and it out damages condemn easily. Only downside with it though is its single target and the play style is very different compared other builds.
Hey Rhykker, someone told me in game you linked my fail Rabid Strike Mechanics thread, and just here to say that those mechanics you discussed are no longer correct. Most of the damage multipliers were fixed in 2.6.1 and Rabid Strike clone attacks have access to additional multipliers that some non-season LoN folks are using Enforcer and BotLG. I updated the post you linked a little. Can also confirm Rabid Strike's clone counts as an additional mystic ally for 11x750% Inna 6pc bonus. Cheers.

There is not whispers that the speed meta is including charge barbarians that is already happening. Right now (week 1 of season 16) people are running 106/107 in season in 3 minutes average with Charge Barb, Imaple DH, ZBarb and ZMonk. You might want to make a video on these runs if you have not yet done so
Jade WD is great but not easy to play compare to Wiz/DH. You need to really smashing your keyboard to push it to the limit. Now my arms are sore and my fingers are broken, this play-style of WD is not healthy that’s for sure...
Jade Witch Doctor is wearing out my A button on Xbox controller. I pushed GR92 solo last weekend but already burnt out. WD is powerful but if you fall out of rhythm then the consequences is similar to messing up with change Barb.
WD is NOT great. Every single WD build, not only jade harverster, requires a LOT of shenanigans, you have all 6 skills on constant use, there's too much keybord smashing, too much preparation, too much crud to take care of, it's a nightmare... For the first time I started a seson with WD, and, honestly, it's strong, but a damn nightmare to run, not only that, if you're not playing alone you just don't play at all, while you're dissing out all the shenanigans you need to deal some dmg, any party member has already killed everything in sight twice, so, yeah, a damn nightmare.
@@kaballfs By great I mean the the damage output, the run and hit play style is also my thing. Also, I kinda like the dark color skill effect vs bright like Wiz has. Yet, its just too exhaust to keep playing for a long period of time
Locust swarm x2, haunt x3, piranha, spirit walk into crowd, horror, soul harvest. No breaks in between 😫 If you can do all that without getting squished and making everything dead then ya, its GREAT 😁

I preordered diablo 3 and played it on release date, realizing it sucked I put it down and went back to D2. Someone told me the game has gotten better, and I have recently gave it another shot and got hooked. Your videos have been an awesome reference for me! Thanks, and keep it up!
I'm playing a Whirlwind Barb this season and loving it. I normally don't play barb so it feels kinda like a new game for me. Normally I'm a Sunwuko Wave of Light guy. But this spin to win thing is fun. However, I'm still early on and only hovering around GR50 at the moment. We'll see how long the party lasts before I throw my mouse across the room in frustration. Great Vids Rhykker! My wife and I play on the XBOX 1. Could you point out when there are significant build performance differences between the console and PC platforms on future vids? I hear in your videos that certain class builds are hitting 120 plus GRs, but we have yet to hit 90 GR on the console with the same builds discussed (with exact META configured). Of course RNG on Primal gear is like insane and we mostly see drops for a non-armor set pieces and that are not part of the META. We are older so maybe we just suck wind, but only finishing 35 GRs lower takes some serious losser skills even for us :).
There are very few differences between builds on console v PC...the builds that require precise targeting like Star Pact Wizard are harder on console because we do not have mouse + keyboard. I analyse the Leaderboards on PC and Console at the end of Seasons and create videos on it and the GR clears on PC are very close to console version. GR120 is end game...with 3000 Paragon+, Legendary GEms in the 130's and every item augmented with Caldesaan's at the 100's.

Early season leaderboards often don't reflect end-of-season leaderboards. There are sometimes builds that perform better earlier in the season for a number of reasons (simplest is that the build is easier to gear for) and we see them surpassed as the season goes on. Historically, Impale has often been the #1 DH build for early season, but was always surpassed by other DH builds.
Correct, I do 115 with Sunwuko and 117 with Inna, non season 2666 Paragon EU leaderboards. My Inna has slightly worse gear (No fire amulet) and non ancient ring, but it just feel much stronger, there's no comparison.
I’m actually using a really under gear Arachyr firebat build.. I’m missing dagger/off hand, some jewelry, the essential firebat bracers, and jewelry in cube.. I can still torment ten! I’m only pointing this out because I notice you have helltooth firebat and not a arachyr firebat on the list. What happened to arachyr? I don’t expect it to be high on the list or great for gr I think it’s a good set and I’m wondering why it’s not there? Edit: it’s there on B tier. I feel like a dumbo haha. Great content. Keep it up!

I followed your video and made a DH with the mixed armor, got to PP 219 and did the darkening of Tristen, very nice season, I do not like grinding so I am done till season 17 ty very much for your videos made a lvl 1 on normal and did the dungeon for the pet, having a lv 70 bow and 750 PP made it easy

Knightsof Ra I watched that video already. It's for speed farming. My question is what about the build do I need to change to make it a pushing build instead. Also what skills if any should I change from the speed running version of the build.
To the point video and very accurate. Impale DH build is of the charts this season. Without any ancient legendaries impale build can push 95 to 100 currently. Multishot build is also doing pretty well as comapred to season 14.
Hey Rhykker, this is tehf00n. Crusader Invoker is the best build so far. I tried them all. Condemn stalls for survivability around tier 80. It means you need ancient gear + strength enchant to get past. The Hammerdin is the same. It's clunky and slow and doesn't get enough sustain really. It can perform with skill but its not the best. However Invoker is the best single player GR build for crusader. It is a single target build mostly, but it absolutely wrecks all bosses and elites. So you just push for rares/elites/boss and skip the trash and it has the survivability of a beast with just regular gear.
@Sal A Yeah but it stalls around 80 until you get a couple of ancients and some enchants. I've done Condemn a few seasons now and its great and everything, but there is a point where Invoker takes over the GR level because it can single target really quick. Condemn needs to catch up with gear/enchants at that point. Invoker can just keep on going as long as you keep your damage reduction to match the GR level, which is also really easy. I think Condemn is more fun to play because you wipe a lot more stuff out, but Invoker has progression advantages which helps not just with paragon levels, but top end gems and enchants too.
This is valuable. There is reason to run legacy of nightmares on witch doctor, spirit barrage, and necro, not much else. "does this class have a set buff over 8250%?" and "am I using multiple skills where 8.2k% damage OVERALL is better than to a certain skill or 2?" is your question before using legacy of nightmares. that simple
after running this season and playing shadow impale again, I was honestly waiting to see if you'd be bumping it up to S tier , I have nowhere near my final set of gear and already over gr100 so and I cleared that on the sunday after season started. Im by no means one of the play every second of everyday type of people but for me that was a pretty big accomplishment.
Please Rhykker, i hope you see this..! It would be so awesome if you could try incoporate some (atleast some) Hardcore specific input into the things you talk about. Thats a major thing i think is laking from all the big D3 TH-camrs atm. Regard the tierlist changes, not only is the Inna's arguably esier to play than wuko, but its waay more SAFE to play for hc players as my self, for various reasons. The mantras for one, and your mystic allys help aout alot aswell, having agro on enemies, blocking them etc etc With all that said, i LOVE your vids! Keep it up ma dude!
I think the legacy of nightmares rings for a wizard are really fun. the tal set gives you 8000% damage, the LoN gives you 9750%, and you dont have to mess around with keeping up the 4 stack. On top of that you can wear mage fist, thats 20% fire, and then swamp pants for another 20% fire, and then cinder coat for 20% fire. You dont have to waste skill slots on proccing 4 elements, so you can use the slow time gains every rune hat which gives a ton of survivability and gives more damage... I dunno, ive not been keeping up on how other people are doing it but Ive been messing with LoN and its performing better than my stock setup tal tasha variants for meteor and for the speed builds like explosive blast and frozen orb. Its way easier to play them, they do more damage and you get more skill slots. You dont have to use calamity on your teleport to proc tals, you can use safe passage, theres a hat that procs diamond skin, gloves that give a protective shield against elites... for me Im done with tal and firebirds, Ill still use tal for t13 deathbreath farming using the sages 2 piece but for grifts, be it speeding lower grifts or pushing past gr100 with serious setups its all LoN for me now on wizards.
@@scdogg444 no one outside of the season is using compass rose, thats only part of tal meteor because of the free ring of grandeur buff for this season. The season buff benefits all the sets apart from LoN, but the season will be gone soon enough.
I would say Sunwuko is out Dps the Inna’s, since now you can work the CoE along side Focus & Restraint, while the Inna’s might have more toughness with Unity or so....
I have been playing Bluddshed's Firebat build and that was pretty darned fun, although the run/walk speed leaves a bit to desire, so I decided to try the helltooth chicken doc and I must say that thing tears through TXIII rifts like no one's business, but without gold, it's a bit squishy, though I suppose I could sub in the goldwrap/avarice band/boon for something to compensate, but I was also looking to maybe try jade doc as well. I already have enough jade pieces to convert and reroll to something viable. Seems like a great season for WD.
I know it's a bit late, but I made a Twister Wizard after hitting about 86 on my N6M4 starter. The damage is great even when not optimized, the playstyle feels a little funky at first just because of your DMO set and the time bubbles, but it's definitely effective, I hit 95 with very few problems and basically lv 1 of all my socketed gemstones.
I know that the Hardcore players make up a small fraction of D3 players, but I just don't get any enjoyment out of softcore playing because of the lack of risk that comes along with it and the ability to build completely for DPS and then run GR's over and over again until you luck out with the right shrines to get the clear. Is there anyway to run survivability numbers on these tier lists to check their performance in HC? Maybe something like checking the Avg# of deaths on the builds in SC and setting a threshold for HC viability? Oh, and Thanks for the video's! I really like how you add "if you're going for more survivability" options in a lot of your build videos, I usually don't have to change them much to make them HC viable.
DH leader boards is almost pure impale. Monk leader boards almost pure Inna WoL. Don't think i've seen more than a rare few UE multishot builds on a leaderboard in a number of seasons, it's awesome for speed clearing but can't push very well because so many monster affixes just one-shot it from range. Do you go through all servers leader boards or just NA? And do you also factor in builds on HC boards?
Hi Rhykker, still enjoy d3 and watching your videos. I'm kind of bored of using sentry, been doing it every season. Gonna try multishot soon once i gather the set. Never really tried pure natalyas. What does a pure natalya set look like? I can only come across Deadset's guide.

Impale is currently the #1 build on NA. Highest GR done is made with this build. Most top 100 DH use impale.... And I was happy with my primal nathalia wep.. :(
i really love LON wizard as i find now i can use channeling more as the prime focus i don't have to keep messing around with the stacks of tal's. still going to keep playing my monk or barb though as i know them alot better for gr's
Haven't played Wizard since the Tal/ Vyr Manald Starfire days. I really enjoyed that build - what happened to the viability of lightning archon and why is it so bad now?
First time Monk seasonal player here. After 70 I started with Uliana and thought it was fun, until I realized Inna WOL was top of the solo leaderboards. However I have since changed back to Ulianas as I was having more fun with that than WOL.

I can't find any Multishot builds on the DH leaderboards. It's 98% Impale.
and n6m4, but idd impale is horsecum. Ms is nice for fast farming
its because multishot is complete bs damage and is only used for t13
with a few ancient parts and decent rolls you can run solo gr up to 80-85 for fast farming with it.

Arachyr Firebats is just seeming to be super strong this season. I'm loving running this build.
using Natalya mixed with Marauder build. got some decent toughness and burst damage for solo GR. Enjoying it so far.
That's what #5 on his list is, the one that says N6M4 (natalya 6 piece / marauder 4 piece)

N6M4 is amazing.. I was running GR100 in Season 15. I beta tested S16 and easily ran GR110. Have fun.

The barb is doing pretty well tbh. I see 3 builds being on top 20 solo GRs which is great to see. But enjoying the Tals meteor and full marauder DH

Inna WoL is currently DOMINATING the monk leaderboards, how has it not risen into S tier?
Early season leaderboards often don't reflect end-of-season leaderboards. There are sometimes builds that perform better earlier in the season for a number of reasons (simplest is that the build is easier to gear for) and we see them surpassed as the season goes on. Historically, Impale has often been the #1 DH build for early season, but was always surpassed by other DH builds.
Correct, I do 115 with Sunwuko and 117 with Inna, non season 2666 Paragon EU leaderboards. My Inna has slightly worse gear (No fire amulet) and non ancient ring, but it just feel much stronger, there's no comparison.
In non-season, LoN WoL is what all solo monks are using. At least it was last night.

I’m actually using a really under gear Arachyr firebat build.. I’m missing dagger/off hand, some jewelry, the essential firebat bracers, and jewelry in cube..
I can still torment ten! I’m only pointing this out because I notice you have helltooth firebat and not a arachyr firebat on the list.
What happened to arachyr? I don’t expect it to be high on the list or great for gr I think it’s a good set and I’m wondering why it’s not there?

I followed your video and made a DH with the mixed armor, got to PP 219 and did the darkening of Tristen, very nice season, I do not like grinding so I am done till season 17 ty very much for your videos made a lvl 1 on normal and did the dungeon for the pet, having a lv 70 bow and 750 PP made it easy
It's amazing how much this doesn't matter to 99% of players, yet everyone is going to base their builds off of it

Knightsof Ra I watched that video already. It's for speed farming. My question is what about the build do I need to change to make it a pushing build instead. Also what skills if any should I change from the speed running version of the build.
To the point video and very accurate. Impale DH build is of the charts this season. Without any ancient legendaries impale build can push 95 to 100 currently. Multishot build is also doing pretty well as comapred to season 14.
Hey Rhykker, this is tehf00n. Crusader Invoker is the best build so far. I tried them all. Condemn stalls for survivability around tier 80. It means you need ancient gear + strength enchant to get past. The Hammerdin is the same. It's clunky and slow and doesn't get enough sustain really. It can perform with skill but its not the best. However Invoker is the best single player GR build for crusader. It is a single target build mostly, but it absolutely wrecks all bosses and elites. So you just push for rares/elites/boss and skip the trash and it has the survivability of a beast with just regular gear.
@Sal A Yeah but it stalls around 80 until you get a couple of ancients and some enchants. I've done Condemn a few seasons now and its great and everything, but there is a point where Invoker takes over the GR level because it can single target really quick. Condemn needs to catch up with gear/enchants at that point. Invoker can just keep on going as long as you keep your damage reduction to match the GR level, which is also really easy. I think Condemn is more fun to play because you wipe a lot more stuff out, but Invoker has progression advantages which helps not just with paragon levels, but top end gems and enchants too.
Just to add, I keep a setup for both and use Condemn for bounties and rift key farming
I agree with moving Hammerdin to S Tier. It is feeling crazy strong now.
RxT pushed God Monk build to GR 132, Maroder is now second with Condemn GR 131.
Rolands is performing insanely on u.s the top sader was a rolands at 114 last i saw, it's surprised me and cheering as it's my fave set in game

This is valuable. There is reason to run legacy of nightmares on witch doctor, spirit barrage, and necro, not much else. "does this class have a set buff over 8250%?" and "am I using multiple skills where 8.2k% damage OVERALL is better than to a certain skill or 2?" is your question before using legacy of nightmares. that simple
after running this season and playing shadow impale again, I was honestly waiting to see if you'd be bumping it up to S tier , I have nowhere near my final set of gear and already over gr100 so and I cleared that on the sunday after season started. Im by no means one of the play every second of everyday type of people but for me that was a pretty big accomplishment.

It would be so awesome if you could try incoporate some (atleast some) Hardcore specific input into the things you talk about. Thats a major thing i think is laking from all the big D3 TH-camrs atm.
Regard the tierlist changes, not only is the Inna's arguably esier to play than wuko, but its waay more SAFE to play for hc players as my self, for various reasons. The mantras for one, and your mystic allys help aout alot aswell, having agro on enemies, blocking them etc etc

I think the legacy of nightmares rings for a wizard are really fun. the tal set gives you 8000% damage, the LoN gives you 9750%, and you dont have to mess around with keeping up the 4 stack. On top of that you can wear mage fist, thats 20% fire, and then swamp pants for another 20% fire, and then cinder coat for 20% fire. You dont have to waste skill slots on proccing 4 elements, so you can use the slow time gains every rune hat which gives a ton of survivability and gives more damage... I dunno, ive not been keeping up on how other people are doing it but Ive been messing with LoN and its performing better than my stock setup tal tasha variants for meteor and for the speed builds like explosive blast and frozen orb. Its way easier to play them, they do more damage and you get more skill slots. You dont have to use calamity on your teleport to proc tals, you can use safe passage, theres a hat that procs diamond skin, gloves that give a protective shield against elites... for me Im done with tal and firebirds, Ill still use tal for t13 deathbreath farming using the sages 2 piece but for grifts, be it speeding lower grifts or pushing past gr100 with serious setups its all LoN for me now on wizards.
Yes but you don't have travelers pledge/compass rose. If this didn't exist lon would be better. But sadly, nope.
@@scdogg444 no one outside of the season is using compass rose, thats only part of tal meteor because of the free ring of grandeur buff for this season. The season buff benefits all the sets apart from LoN, but the season will be gone soon enough.

I would say Sunwuko is out Dps the Inna’s, since now you can work the CoE along side Focus & Restraint, while the Inna’s might have more toughness with Unity or so....

Are these buffs permanent or just for the season
I have been playing Bluddshed's Firebat build and that was pretty darned fun, although the run/walk speed leaves a bit to desire, so I decided to try the helltooth chicken doc and I must say that thing tears through TXIII rifts like no one's business, but without gold, it's a bit squishy, though I suppose I could sub in the goldwrap/avarice band/boon for something to compensate, but I was also looking to maybe try jade doc as well. I already have enough jade pieces to convert and reroll to something viable. Seems like a great season for WD.
Any thoughts on Twister 🌪 Wizards on Console?

I know it's a bit late, but I made a Twister Wizard after hitting about 86 on my N6M4 starter. The damage is great even when not optimized, the playstyle feels a little funky at first just because of your DMO set and the time bubbles, but it's definitely effective, I hit 95 with very few problems and basically lv 1 of all my socketed gemstones.

As a Demon Hunter main, I am VERY pleased with this season. Best season I've played.
I know that the Hardcore players make up a small fraction of D3 players, but I just don't get any enjoyment out of softcore playing because of the lack of risk that comes along with it and the ability to build completely for DPS and then run GR's over and over again until you luck out with the right shrines to get the clear. Is there anyway to run survivability numbers on these tier lists to check their performance in HC? Maybe something like checking the Avg# of deaths on the builds in SC and setting a threshold for HC viability? Oh, and Thanks for the video's! I really like how you add "if you're going for more survivability" options in a lot of your build videos, I usually don't have to change them much to make them HC viable.

DH leader boards is almost pure impale. Monk leader boards almost pure Inna WoL. Don't think i've seen more than a rare few UE multishot builds on a leaderboard in a number of seasons, it's awesome for speed clearing but can't push very well because so many monster affixes just one-shot it from range. Do you go through all servers leader boards or just NA? And do you also factor in builds on HC boards?
Area the 1st S tier set better than the others? or S tier sets are all good and thats just a random position?
Seems like the strongest solo build in the game right now is Jade Doc. Might have to use Jade Doc next season if nothing is changed.

Im only playing wizard wand of woh and playing with whatever comes to my mind and works. So far it has been a fun season for me.

Impale is currently the #1 build on NA. Highest GR done is made with this build. Most top 100 DH use impale.... And I was happy with my primal nathalia wep.. :(

First time Monk seasonal player here. After 70 I started with Uliana and thought it was fun, until I realized Inna WOL was top of the solo leaderboards. However I have since changed back to Ulianas as I was having more fun with that than WOL.
