ANy plan to add more hard content in the game to make all these new possibilities useful in the end ? The x2 monster density doesnt feel much different from base game, and with the additionnal items and merc slots, meta builds can become even stronger than before so I feel the monster density alone isnt enough to keep us interested long term. This is single player so there is so much room for harder challenge, be it in a holy grail path or straight up harder content don't you think ?

I see you are pretty influenced by POD and PD2. PD2 is the best mod in D2 ever I've never had so much fun in a game as I did in pd2. I will hop on the hype train if you make a battle net verison of your mod and maybe add corruption stones it makes the game sooooooooooooo much more interesting its unbeliaveble and makes uniques valuable again, not just stupit runeswords meta all the time. Diablo 1.10 ruined all the ICONIC non runeword items... Corruption stones brought them back in pd2/pod. If you create battle net with no previous season currency(fresh ladder everyone equal) I would be very happy. That's actually what the original idea is but it's been forgotten. I hate d2jsp. Also mapping system like in PD2 is very satisfying and it's something that makes your time worthwhile. Yes it might change the original game but cmon, this is 2024 people need new content and new challenges to keep it interesting other than holy grail and low level pvp....

I personally can’t stand Mr. Llama after he pushed the devs to make no changes to D2R for so long and then complaining afterwards about lack of updates when D2R was dead and Blizzard lost interest.

Have you already looked into D2R:Remodded? It has basically the same gem bag system, called the Quality of Life Bag. It can contain gem points, rune points, key points, organs, etc. and there are grabbers for everything. This means you don't need to stack runes, and that finding one high level rune allows you to use its points exactly to manufacture many lower level runes.
Thank you man, for the mod showcase, I never been an hardcore D2R player, just finished the game once on normal difficulty, but this mod is a game changer for me, everything is FLUIDE and SMOOTH don't really know if there was an update recently but damn its feels good! the mods is great, life time saver for those who don't have much time
I’ve been playing this mod but I’m not even close to remembering all the new items and sets. It feels like playing the game again for the first time. They’ve done a great job!

Hey man... Project Diablo 2 Season 10 is going to start October 25th. Checks most of the boxes this mod (which looks great) does, while also adding mapping, new bosses, new skills, attribute slamming AND... it's multiplayer with a fully functional trade site. PD2 is the real Diablo 4.
Pd2 is great, but the devs have been working hard on d4. I played at launch and quit due to it not being d2, went back recently and it's pretty fun. Give it another try if you haven't played in a while.

100% after playing a few seasons of PD2 it’s really hard to go back to regular D2R because there’s just such a lack of endgame content and build diversity and teleport options beyond enigma

Project Diablo 2 new season starts October 25th! You've got time to play Season 9 and figure out what you want to do for ladder. Trading is done, but people playing this late in the season will just throw end game gear at anybody still playing; torches, items like infinity and other runewords. If you don't know what PD2 is, it's similar to this mod, in addition to adding mapping, new bosses, skills, items, etc, plus it's multiplayer with a fully functional trade site. Check it out!

@@Huckle777the acts leading to end game are definitely much easier. Early grinding is also easier as most builds are more well rounded than regular LoD. That said, there are more endgame grinds and harder content than just the normal 1000 meph and Baal runs. I highly recommend trying out S10!
Agreed, I remember trying Reimagined a while back, and stopped for that exact reason. Then I tried BTDiablo, which increases the difficulty while providing changes and QOL, and that's where I found my jam

Hopefully he gives other mods a look. It also has all these qol changes but not the annoying ass grabber system. Each thing just stacks which is much preferred by myself.
@@kevind9140 As I grow older, I start to prefer easier games, not saying it's for everyone but I can totally see myself enjoying this easier D2R more than a harder one. Same reason I love classic WoW more than retail, it's just so much stress, competitive and harder to play. :)
Yeah, while i was watching broski show all the crazy skills and item changes, i was thinking "jesus, the monsters must be insanely difficult in order to balance it out". Then he just shows double monster density and...the video just ends. My excitement completely gone.

Welcome back patriarch, thanks for showing us something you found amazing. I was like all the old traditional fans that thought that these kind of mods were excessive and convert the game in something far from the Diablo 2 formula but that changed with time. I tried a few mods and then I understood that what I was looking for was a fresh new experience. It made me see that some things from the original game were really bad and made me appreciate the things that were done well.
I am sorry to hear about the negative comments getting to you. I went through a particularly tough period of my life living in a city where I didn’t know anyone, and I spent hours binging your build videos after playing D2 casually for a decade when I was growing up but never playing it seriously. Ended up playing through a Sorc which I never played before, right through to the end of hell on single player, and I hadn’t played any games in years. I thoroughly enjoyed your videos, your enthusiasm and the work that you put into making them. Your passion was infectious and I hope you’re proud of the content you’ve made. For everyone who talks shit in the comments, I can promise you there are 10x-100x more people who love your videos but never say anything. People are getting dumber and dumb people are getting louder. Don’t let them get to you, focus on creating and what you enjoy. It takes a certain type of miserable individual to leave hateful, negative comments on a TH-cam channel like this. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Im glad to see you back on Diablo 2 . I do actually play that mod to find it so cool . And so far im using the original runewords as i know of . But noticed some items dont actualy give the bonusses they have on them (I have found Unique Highland Blade witch give 20 to Wirlwind wich ends up giving only 3 ) But im totaly into the mod . Made 4 Characters already find quite a lot of set and Uniques but wanted to complete all the set im very exited about what can they bring with the full bonuses of it :)
Looks like a great mod. It has a lot of parts from D2 Remodded which is the staple of D2 Mods. You really need to give it a try. What is really great about D2 Remodded is that all classes have newly added skills, so there are a ton of new builds to play that are as fun if not more fun than the present meta builds. I have given up on D2R over a year ago, and Remodded got me back into the game. These mods are awesome as they have all the quality of life features that we have been asking for years, as well as new content, new rune words, and new builds.

My favorite diablo TH-camr is back! Looks fun the mod. I burned out with d2 aswell. Been like 4 seasons now with no updates. Slowly starting to loose hope. 😂 havnt played for a year myself. Recently started to try the mosaic sin for the first time.

Nice to have you back. I prefer Project Diablo 2 because I always played d2 online and trading in a new fresh economy is a big part of the game for me, so I never considered to play any mod for single player , but sadly PD2 doesnt work with the D2R engine. This mod seems similar in term of quality of life and expanding the endgame.

Unfortunately the fact that it runs on the old client with outdated graphics is an automatic NO for a lot of people.

It's basically PD2 but for the D2R single player community. I'll always prefer PD2 though. Anyways glad you're back!
I was thinking of trying, but it does seem too easy. Think im gonna wait a bit for the new season of pd2 instead. Never played before but kinda hype
@@Huckle777the acts leading to end game are definitely much easier. Early grinding is also easier as most builds are more well rounded than regular LoD. That said, there are more endgame grinds and harder content than just the normal 1000 meph and Baal runs. I highly recommend trying out S10!

problem with these mods is they make the characters and skill stronger but the game difficulty remains the same. makes the game way too easy
Agreed, I remember trying Reimagined a while back, and stopped for that exact reason. Then I tried BTDiablo, which increases the difficulty while providing changes and QOL, and that's where I found my jam
This is where Project Diablo 2 shines, it provides so much challenging and fun end game content with maps and crafting and Uber bosses and trading
@@andregagnebouchard1505 agreed. This is a bit depressing, seeing him push all these players to this mod when btdiablo is much more true to the diablo 2 formula and it has the difficulty factor too. Hopefully he gives other mods a look. It also has all these qol changes but not the annoying ass grabber system. Each thing just stacks which is much preferred by myself.
@@kevind9140 As I grow older, I start to prefer easier games, not saying it's for everyone but I can totally see myself enjoying this easier D2R more than a harder one. Same reason I love classic WoW more than retail, it's just so much stress, competitive and harder to play. :)
Yeah, while i was watching broski show all the crazy skills and item changes, i was thinking "jesus, the monsters must be insanely difficult in order to balance it out". Then he just shows double monster density and...the video just ends. My excitement completely gone.

Welcome back patriarch, thanks for showing us something you found amazing. I was like all the old traditional fans that thought that these kind of mods were excessive and convert the game in something far from the Diablo 2 formula but that changed with time. I tried a few mods and then I understood that what I was looking for was a fresh new experience. It made me see that some things from the original game were really bad and made me appreciate the things that were done well.

I am sorry to hear about the negative comments getting to you. I went through a particularly tough period of my life living in a city where I didn’t know anyone, and I spent hours binging your build videos after playing D2 casually for a decade when I was growing up but never playing it seriously. Ended up playing through a Sorc which I never played before, right through to the end of hell on single player, and I hadn’t played any games in years. I thoroughly enjoyed your videos, your enthusiasm and the work that you put into making them. Your passion was infectious and I hope you’re proud of the content you’ve made. For everyone who talks shit in the comments, I can promise you there are 10x-100x more people who love your videos but never say anything. People are getting dumber and dumb people are getting louder. Don’t let them get to you, focus on creating and what you enjoy. It takes a certain type of miserable individual to leave hateful, negative comments on a TH-cam channel like this.

Im glad to see you back on Diablo 2 . I do actually play that mod to find it so cool . And so far im using the original runewords as i know of . But noticed some items dont actualy give the bonusses they have on them (I have found Unique Highland Blade witch give 20 to Wirlwind wich ends up giving only 3 ) But im totaly into the mod . Made 4 Characters already find quite a lot of set and Uniques but wanted to complete all the set im very exited about what can they bring with the full bonuses of it :)

Looks like a great mod. It has a lot of parts from D2 Remodded which is the staple of D2 Mods. You really need to give it a try. What is really great about D2 Remodded is that all classes have newly added skills, so there are a ton of new builds to play that are as fun if not more fun than the present meta builds. I have given up on D2R over a year ago, and Remodded got me back into the game. These mods are awesome as they have all the quality of life features that we have been asking for years, as well as new content, new rune words, and new builds.

My favorite diablo TH-camr is back! Looks fun the mod. I burned out with d2 aswell. Been like 4 seasons now with no updates. Slowly starting to loose hope. 😂 havnt played for a year myself. Recently started to try the mosaic sin for the first time.
The thing is, new d2 mods (thats work well) are good pressure on blizzards team regarding making d2r better. 👍

Nice to have you back. I prefer Project Diablo 2 because I always played d2 online and trading in a new fresh economy is a big part of the game for me, so I never considered to play any mod for single player , but sadly PD2 doesnt work with the D2R engine. This mod seems similar in term of quality of life and expanding the endgame.
