kudos for covering the ptr for s7. all the other gigachads drank the poe2 kool aid. previous ptrs: not enough monsters, not enough events to complete, this ptr: too much density and chaos, too much to do. there's no satisfying the d4 base at any and all times. looking forward to s7 in jan.
I understand the frustration of the hardcore gamers with D4, but not everyone is a giga blaster than can spend over 400hrs per season. If PoE2 can satisfy them, sure, go for it and giga blast the endgame. Personally, i just want a D4 refresh every couple of months and chill.
Why does everyone intentionally keep giving this disingenuous descritptor for what PoE is like? You don't have to play 400hrs per season. It also refreshes every couple of months.
i`m not hardcore gamer , just play like a week with SB and i`m blasting everything , at the begining the feeling was nice but then you just get bored because nothing else to do.
It's hard to get excited about Season 7 with Path of Exile 2 just around the corner. I've been playing Diablo 4 since Season 1 and have already explored every class and build multiple times. At this point, the only thing keeping me interested is the introduction of new seasonal mechanics. If Season 7’s Witch Powers don’t offer a significant amount of fresh, fun gameplay, I won’t stick around beyond the first week. I think a lot of long-time players feel the same way.
There's zero endgame activity at this point, I'm tired of killing tormented bosses and IH was fun for a minute but there is zero meaningful growth besides paragon 300 which I stopped at 278 and was just done and burnt out
While I don't personally like D4, I love your content and I think its awesome that you are here to cover this stuff and give your opinion. You do not need me to tell you this but you are doing great! Keep it up man!
@@duugenheim21 PoE 2's end game is spamming maps and occasionally a tower. If you don't stack magic find you're gimping yourself and rn build diversity is hilariously bad.
It's just not enough. The game already feels like it's on the D3 2.0 phase. I cannot see how they keep me playing for longer than 2 weeks in the future.
I used to play long seasons of POE and used D3 for a week break here and there when I was growing tired of the PoE league. I hope D4 can fill that void once again
@@sonoftristram they don't. All they want is to get you engaged just long enough to buy the lame battle pass. They could honestly give a damn if anyone plays after they buy battle pass or cosmetics.
You and I are amongst a very rare group of individuals that will embrace both D4 and POE 2 for what they have to offer. Eating well this holiday season as well! It doesnt always have to be, D4 BAD!
An absolute breath of fresh air right here. I'm so tired of the "d4 sucks, poe2 or whatever other game is better" comments. I can't understand hate watching videos on a game if the said person doesn't enjoy it. They should take that wasted time and go play said game they enjoy or anything they enjoy for that matter
I'm gonna join your group - even though I prefer d4 more than PoE, I want both games (LE as well) to be succesful! - more competition = better quality aRPG
stcik to poe 2 wtf is there to do in d4 u see this season its bad. u get more powers to level wonder how many times theye have done a season like that hmmmmm
I'm still stuck on the 1-300 paragon grind if anything, I might take a step back from D4 because I want to finish leveling my character and I'm so burn out from doing pits over and over again. It's stupid and they need to fix it. Spread out the exp. sources cut down the required exp. a massive amount. And don't tell me it's okay you're not missing much from the extra levels; I don't care that's not how I want to play the game; I want to 100% complete a character put a pin in it call them done and move on to an alt. And that might not happen this season and it's pissing me off to no end.
I got to 199 paragon points. After that it became a slow, slow drag and I couldn't be bothered to grind the same activities over and over again to get my build optimal.
@@JakeIncarnate I only ever run at about 50-70% of my potential power because it takes way too much work in this game to get optimal. It’s not just the slow grind to level up I don’t like grouping up and doing boss rotations. So much more loot is dropped when in a group it feels like everything is nerfed when I play solo.
You know, you could just stop playing it? It's people like you that are part of the problem. They don't have to fix anything because people like you keep playing even when you know it's trash.
@@digital2701361 Oh I more or have less stopped playing but I generally enjoy the game and want to see it to see it succeed SO I'm here and, on the forums, voicing my opinion to get them to change the game. When I said I might take a step back it was probably a poor choice of words. The step back is really referring to dropping the game all together. I want to comeback for future content and season, but they need to address this issue if I'm to even consider it. Simply playing the game doesn't perpetuate the problems, spending money on the game and say nothing about the issues will cause them not to fix things. Stopping playing will only cause them to move on to the next project and they won't learn a thing about making a good game.
this pretty sums up why after D3 I was never bought any other diablo games. th-cam.com/video/tNOIO-hmg6E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1TRSqLhvB-WnzbYk Blizzard is just cancer serving the interest of their shareholders. GGG truly works to put up the best game possible, just like blizzard did a long time ago. GGG's PoE1&2 is the real successor to D2. I'll start as a Sorceress-Stormweaver-Archmage.
@@Marcv1285 so much talent within the company though. they also want blizzard to be what it once was, just as much as we do.. i think it's a great thing that smaller devs like GGG are now directly competing on a more level playing field - that will change the industry and talent will flow in all different directions isntead of being concentrated in a few giants.
@@menamgamgI honestly hope that POE2 is the best thing that happens to D4. Time to feel the pressure and create an even better game due to the competition.
The armory is cool but with the state of the game we can't afford a 2nd build. Not a proper version of a build anyways with how expensive masterworking is, and how low the ancestral drop rates have been on live. Hopefully this opens up in the future
Getting geared for 4 characters is not difficult at all with the current state, the only aspect of the game in drought is meaningful, quality end game chases and the quantity/depth of them. The expansion should have added and expanded on this and the only thing it did was disappoint me feeling jipped out of my money as the cost vs base game and the difference in story between the two was laughable how much less the expansion had story wise compared to base game for near the same fucking price. This is what happens when leadership are financial suites with NO passion or vision for their product, it’s obvious they don’t play it, and they are unwilling to invest money back into it from support players give them via in game store. Yes where I’m going with this is GGG has all of these things that Activision/Blizzard lacks in their leadership and you can plainly see the stark difference of what you get with passionate leadership vs. greedy leadership. A shame because blizzard’s talent goes to waste and likely for shit pay too.
Rhyker went live during PoE 2 ea launch. He is commited to what he does for the gaming community! D4 just happens to be where his heart is and the bread and butter that built his brand. If you missed the HOURS he put into his PoE content then you're not keeping up! I appreciate your integrity Rhykker never biased just honest opinions. Keep it up bruh!!
after 200 hours on poe 2 i need to break, pumped for s7. titan quest 2 comes out this year too, and the old devs from d2 are making a new arpg. we eating good.
D4 is slowly getting better, but the game is lacking a fleshed out endgame to keep us interested beyond the season. I REALLY like most of the different seasons additions. This new Witch season stuff is awesome, but I think some of these things should be left permanently in the game as it adds to features of the game that it's lacked from vanilla D4. Adding the "Citadel" is an excellent start to endgame but the world not only needs way more "Citadels" but they need to be made to be solo or multiplayer so people can play to their hearts content. I'm already prepaid for POE2 early access, but would like D4 to keep growing and to become more solid. Having both games as current arpgs would be so cool.
The fact that they took this long to give us armories despite them being one of the core features that we used for switching between builds in D3 shows how little they think about players. Not to mention them not fixing bugs like the Infernal Hordes randomly stopping or not being able to portal out of town without being on a waypoint (sometimes)
@@andredornelles8014 LOL, seems with each season we get some sort of new feature that is permanent that improves it, but tbh, it's stuff that should have been there since launch, like the Armory.
The fact that you still can't stack more than 10 whispers is absurd there's no reason that they can't allow you to turn in multiples at a time it's still going to be a problem that you fill up your whisper bar and something else gets completed and you just lose that and have to do it again. Do they even play their own game?
Regardless of how I enjoy the next season I still find D4 superior to POE2 since I'm not getting murdered by trash mobs every couple minutes, or spending an hour to die over and over to the same boss only to get lucky and kill it.
I think you need to review your capabilites after saying D4 is superior to POE 2 Early Access... D4 now seems like a mobile phone game with trash mechanics... game made for kids only.
Player issue. If you cant kill a boss, do content you can clear, get stronger, be stronger after x time, kill the boss you wanted to kill earlier and feel nice that you where able to get stronger to move on 😅
I love the chaos of the seasonal greentides but it really drives home how poorly the loot is done. There is simply FAR too much garbage that drops with rare and magic items and it clutters the screen to the point of being unable to interact with the tree roots or whatever else is underneath the mess. I'm not even sure if they've acknowledged that this is an issue but they need to have this crap get auto-converted to mats because it's getting worse with each season.
It does get auto-converted starting on Torment 1 but despite that, I do agree with you. I submitted feedback asking for the loot quantity to be lowered and the chance of legendaries/uniques to be boosted in Normal through Penitent. Thankfully this is PTR and this kind of testing is explicitly what it's for. Current speculation puts S7 launch on Tuesday, January 21, so the devs still have 6 weeks to finalize work on it. In general, every prior PTR has been kind of a shit-show but the actual release has been much better so I'm expecting the same to be true here.
Blizzard: Diablo 4 has surpassed all sales numbers for all the previous Diablo games. Diablo 3 previously was one of if not the fastest selling pc game of all time when it launched and D4 beat that. It literally helped propel Blizzard's net bookings (raw total sales) surpass 1 billion dollars in a single quarter for the first time ever for them. I understand the meme D4 bad, but you're fucking delusional saying dumb shit like that.
@@luQ89 Good for you, it just means you're delusional however as big sales means they're serving their audience quite well and their audience is the casual gamers not terminally online people like you.
@@piratebouvieredepends. The best games and products in general have what is called a target audience, and it is in your best interest to best appeal to that target audience while also making it possible for others to enjoy well.
Barely played this game this season. The only thing I care about is that spirit born gets nerfed to the ground and every other class gets buffed. I want Barb to be in it’s prime
18:05 I feel like this is could be a good argument for giving us an "offline" or "private server" option. I basically ignore legions entirely cause killing mobs in a group just isn't fun.
Funny to me how they spent like 11 years getting D3 really good and then with this game they purposely go out of their way to make the same mistakes again and again 😂. There’s no point to endgame when 300 is paragon cap and all glyphs are leveled up. Zero rewards for fully dedicated players.

@@sandythepolorbear6001 That's the main problem :D we already seen that kind of endgame..i was thinking that in D4 they will kinda take the game into new direction with endgame.
Needing super rare runes in conjunction WITH resplendent sparks for mythics has been absolutely terrible this season and I hope they switch back to just the sparks
game killer for me, not playing for 10 seasons because of exactly that, I wasted so much time on rare runes for mythics without knowing how hard it was, killed the season for me
you don't have to do that, just target farm them. This was my first season actually getting them because I could actually kill stuff on my own. I kinda agree though runes suck as it is needing them for that isn't good either.
Yeah, I think they know the top spot is, and frankly, has been taken by POE/ POE2 a long time ago. It's a business after all. They're being strategic - doing what they have to to stay relevant and continue generating revenue. I don't think the current team is capable of doing more or greater things at this time.
Compete for dominance ? D4 will still have 10 times the players POE ever has, every single season has millions of characters created. On launch there were close to 10 million players, which POE2 with all the astronomical hype they tried to create barely managed 1 million total players, and its now down to 300K once people got to the endgame and saw how ridiculously bad everything is from balancing to classes to base game mechanics. Even when the game officially leaves EA period it will not come even close to these numbers so D4 will still crush them, simply because its a more approachable and well designed game for your average gamer, and POE is for the rest 5% of ARPG gamers.
@@didakis dillusional comment, there's a reason why d4 bad has 5k concurrent players and poe2 has over 500k concurrent players, d4 sure did have alot of people at launch but you have to be completely DELUSIONAL to use that as a excuse why it's better. Why? Because those 12 million people quickly left the game when they realised it wasn't what they hyped it up to, plus how broken and unreleased the game was. Now, I'm no hype man I played d4 to Max on 2 toons on launch but they really cucked the arpg genre for themselves with d4, people were hoping for a d2 remarke, something legendary like poe2 but no we got a turd, which is why no1 plays the game. Glad to see 1 if those rare 5k d4 bad concurrent players in the wild, you're a rare breed 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Do you think some of the Witchcraft powers will be made into Legendary aspects post-Season like they did with some of the Vampire and Malignant powers?
Wooohooo, fun stuff thank you for always making vids! One thing I look forward too. I finally finished my druid build it a tornado/ ult build and wicked fun, stay safe slaying demons good luck!
Season 6 will be the last PTR I play. Testing classes is completely pointless when they intentionally omit their $40 DLC class from the PTR so that it can be completely bugged and overpowered, and then nerf every other class to sell the expansion.
The season Journy will help a little with the confusion, i think. It would have been cool to tie it into the main story and have the zones be corruption leaking into the rest of sanctuary. A plus would have been where the hell tide and headhunting zones met the areas could have been more difficult and bled into each other. The sorc isnt dead yet. both ball lightning builds are pretty good. they do need some adjustments to make s-tier.
At this point, I rather play Diablo4 than POE 2, because of their toxic community and content creator elitism. LE is the perfect combination and the best balance between POE and D4
Thanks for the overview. I played the PTR for a few hours, and felt the witchcraft was too confusing. Perhaps, like you explained, I was only using powers that were not felt or seen. Thanks for the info on class quest. Currently in S6 I am trying 3 druids as a change-up: bear, wolf, and nature. I got angry at my minion necro after dying losing all of them and regenerating was hard since they were the main weapon. Anyway, I appreciate your D4 stuff. I am not liking POE2 as much.
Do you know what I would love PoE 2 to become...? The slow-paced gameplay that Diablo 4 started with, but with the content that PoE 1 have. I know it won't be the case, it's just not what the majority of the fandom wants and that's fine. Regarding this season of Diablo 4, I'm going to play it absolutely, it's going to be fun! Now... can people stop comparing the amount of content PoE 2 will have against Diablo 4's release? You know that PoE 2 is using the same base as PoE 1, same data and upgraded engine, kind of like how Bethesda is doing with their titles. The content was there from the start but it "only" had to be modified (still a bunch of work). Diabo 4 was a restart from scratch. Does that mean that Diablo 4 was in any way "better"? Not at all. But people need to know *why* PoE 2 is going to have so much content from the beginning of release compared to Diablo 4. Don't expect this to be the norm. And finally: if you're part of the tribalism of "us vs. them", go figure stuff out about yourself and why you're so miserable that you can't leave people be. Let people enjoy their games!
If they made a game with the pace of Diablo 1 and with POE2 depth/progression.. that would be fantastic. I think POE2 is moving in the direction of a slower pace. At least at the start. Will have to see how the late game feels
@@cybergun01 While I think the pace of Diablo 1 would be *a bit too slow* for a PoE depth and progression, I honestly would love to see some sort of remaster of Diablo 1 with some new things attached to the genre! Imagine Diablo 1 and then add mechanics like Darkest Dungeon, where insanity is part of the whole stuff of descending deeper into hell :D I miss ARPGs being slower paced in general tho. I really enjoyed the early days of Diablo 4 for that reason!
Let people? How about you grow up and learn to ignore criticism instead of begging people to stop saying things you don't like. D4 is trash. Everyone knows it.
Just curious...if the green zones are different times, can you jump from one zone to another without losing cinders (if that's what you collect) continuously? In essence, can you collect unlimited cinders without losing them? Are the Helltides in the red zones still only 50 minutes long? Have they added more or any larger price chests? Since this season you can collect tons of cinders, the number of chests, especially the 250 chests are very sparse. Thanks for your channel!
I tried Season 7, I don't mind that it is a s1 + s2 redesign. I felt the lvling experience much more enjoyable due to the season theme. I felt confused for first time, as well, specially in understanding how to spawn the boss or the throll. Got so many bugs with the wisp, sometime it didn't wanted to start, and occasionally it never stop spawning monsters, and didn't give me the rewards. However feel more of the same indeed. I think they should start thinking about having some "casual progression" in each end game content, just like POE. Seasons theme, paragon, resplendent spark, and items is not enough for me to keep playing D4 longer than a week. Maybe they can use renown just like Torchlight use fame you know? Or do some altar of rites.
It's weird that Rhykker didn't get any Spirit Boons, it must have been bugged for him. I leveled as a Druid as well and I got tons of Spirit Boons from Witchtide. My class feature quest was still bugged and I still had to do it, but I did get the special cache of Druid legendaries for finishing the quest. Part of it is definitely bugged but parts of it are definitely also working. Also, for those who choose Druid and level with Shred, try the runeword MoniLum. Moni was changed to now give you 100 Offering when you cast 2 Mobility or Subterfuge skills, while Lum was buffed to cost 5 Offering and give you 2.5 resource back instead of just 1. With those two you get 50 resource back whenever you cast 2 Mobility/Subterfuge skills. Shred has a dash, and therefore starts with the Mobility tag, and since it's a combo skill you get 2 free casts for the second and third hits after you spend the resource for the first hit. Because of this, Shred generates infinite Spirit since you'll spend the initial 35 Spirit to cast it but then get 50 back so long as you cast at least the second hit in the combo. Definitely makes leveling easier, doubly so since both runes are Magic rarity and are thus pretty common. I had both before I hit level 15 and even unlocked the possibility of doing the class quest.
What Diablo 4 is missing is a progression system for end-game. Every single season they just give us a new ways to do the same content over and over again…it makes sense why people are bored. What good is all this new power with nothing new to test it in; Greater rifts ain’t it.
Nothing looks/feels new, I think with POE2 release tomorrow they really needed to bring it to keep their audience engaged this season and....I think they missed the mark unfortunately. Looking forward to your POE2 content tho!
Quake hota barb did feel pretty good, but ye big lack of resistances. New gems should deliver opportunity to choose whether you pick armor of resistances. Ball lightning sorc did feel bad. Cant write any aid to it. Overall I enjoyed new season theme (I was not playing season 1 and 2).
I like that even though Rhykker is a hardcore Diablo fan he is putting up the positives and negatives of the game. Sorry but i have to name this one streamer named Mrllamamc very close minded streamer claiming that Diablo 2 is better than D4 and POE2 combine. Pointing out just negatives.
Yep. Rhykker is the GOAT to me in the arpg world. An absolute class act and balanced with their feedback. People call him a shill and then astroturf for PoE2 in the same sentence - it’s pathetic.
What d4 needs . 1. Every season merchant should be present . 1 merchant active a season is a waste . 2. A actual end game chase . Uber shouldn’t be the chase . 3. Game doesn’t need crafting . But there should be an item that drops . That adds a greater affix . And it adds a permanent stat to a weapon . So essentially an endgame juicing for equipment . 3. Infernal hordes was nice . Imagine if you could map through tunnels of hell . For different items that affects your gear in different ways permanently. This would be a reason for ppl to grind builds to push into the new content . This extended endgame play .
it's not poe2 people, it's the D4 people who still had hope that after 1+ year we will get some end game activity but they let down everyone, and seeing what PoE2 has to offer everyone is disappointed
Lmao. @17:40 you're describing a new player. I have no idea what's going on, loot everywhere, total chaos, and running from this to that mashing buttons... Great content, thanks.
I will play S7 just as I play all the seasons, however it's hard to be hyped and excited when I KNOW that PoE2 is having more and better quality content
I've been a long time Diablo fan and I've been enjoying D4 pretty much since launch. While there are absolutely points of concern and numerous opportunities to make it better, I still find it totally solid and will play Season 7. And even with all that, I do think POE2 is looking like it's better in most - if not all - metrics. Regardless, they seem like vastly different games and my plan is to play both, and, come D4 S7, see which one grabs my attention more.
Would love to see a bit higher res / bit rate on your videos, ARPGs look very pixel soup at 1080p / low bitrate capture. This is especially bad when viewing on a 4k display. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date.
Bah regret so much the money .. stopped playing 3 weeks ago. Was SB but with so much unbalance, uncertainty, nerf don't nerf, got fed up at 270 paragon just a pain with no reward, even citadel was just fun the first time.. well they just killed it for me. Guess new definition for incompetence is " Bug"
Yeah, I bought VoH hoping it would entertain me until PoE2 dropped, but I was over it after a week. Pushed on a little bit more since it's rare to get games with my friends these days, but after we did the Citadel, I was out.
The whisper system is bad. Forcing you to turn at 10+ breaks the flow of the game. It should be like the rep rewards. You keep accumulating multiple rewards and can claim them at any time.
D4 S7 is essentially S2 rebirth! It includes powers that really aren't needed at all, sadly, to beat that game. But hey, D4 is what it is, and that's okay too for folks that enjoy it. And in other, more inspiring news, POE 2 can be preloaded today, 12/5/24 at 5pm PST 😃
Armory will significantly reduce play time. I am ok with this. Even though PoE2 will be here, I will max out at least once character Season 7. I enjoy D4 enough to give them a small amount of time investment.
“I’m basically just playing a slot machine, a bunch of lights sounds and noises and smashing the buttons but none of it has any Meaning i’m not making any decisions. I’m not making any choices.” I had that same thought, and honestly when I ask myself, is this all I’m worth?, smashing buttons, mindlessly like an absolute bot, this is a fools game and all the time ive spent ill have nothing to show for it. Yeah, I’m moving on.
I wish the leveling experience and loot was toned down ,finding whites that are upgrades from early levels, then finding blue upgrades, and then yellow is a huge upgrade. Not finding legendaries at level 10. Imo that's why I loved playing d2. Lower level upgrades felt meaningful. Does this make sense?
I fully agree with your day 1 feelings of the new witchtide zones. It's chaos. Most of the time I didn't feel a connection between my own actions and completing the whispers. It's weird. Maybe that'll get better in time. Either way I didn't hate it, but it didn't feel great either.
@@Xero_Kaiser I really really hope you are wrong but probably not. Been waiting for this game for way too long and doing the announcement so far away from release is cruel lol.
Seems like an ok season. Hit or Miss, could be worse. I do feel bad for the D4 devs, everyone is going to shit on this season because of PoE2. Got to be super demotivating when so many people on the internet are just screaming hatred because you are not PoE or PoE2.
No one shits on the game because of poe 2, they shit on it because it is trash. They also don't care what anyone says. They just need the diablo fan bois to keep buying their garbage.
23:43 what I was afraid of. Blizz pushing Sorcs to one specific build instead of "play your way" and make different builds viable. It's sad to see Blizz seem to not know how to get different builds to be nearly equal especially in terms of Sorc.
Didn't play the early seasons, so happy to have a chance to enjoy a more polished version of them. D4 has so much diablo nostalgia going for it, they'd have to actively screw things up before I actually got upset. :) I appreciate your 'constructive criticism' style of review, always thoughtful and not just complaining or complimenting for no reason.
17:10 This is one of the biggest problem with D4. I noticed this pattern, since S3, the Spider pet thingy. It looks and feels fun destroying mechanical enemies. But after a while I felt like what's the point. Then in S4 and S5, same thing.
I feel like this game is balanced for streamers who play 15 hours a day the first week, make a video saying how everything is broken OP because they have the best gear, then the average player gets screwed. Every time I play this game it feels like I have to follow some sort of meta build unless be wanna be stuck playing the low tier content 😮💨
Not true, its funny how so many toxic people hate on the game and call its too easy etc. and then you say you need to play 15h every day? It simple don't make sense to say.
@@rla9889 technically you're right, but in practice you're wrong. If I play a fun but sub par build, I simply don't do enough damage to push in areas that you need to further develop the build. For instance, I can't level up my glyphs, I won't be able to get paragon points up enough to meet stat requirements (I know it is shared between characters but having to use another toon defeats the purpose), and it will take me ages to masterwork gear to the point it's undoable. And forget about getting any good gear to drop in lower tiers. The point is, it becomes a soulless neverending grind, with no end in sight. So playing with an innovative but fun build gets 'punished' by lack of progress. Exacerbated by last seasons spirit born which literally did quintillions of damage making any coop play a kick in the groin for people foolish enough to not get with the cookie cutter program. It's a system designed to suck out the fun. This is bad.
unless I'm missing something in my build ( possible) i can't see Ball Lightning being nearly as powerful as fireball. Sorc in a bad spot. not even gonna try a cold build.
BTW high rank (like 15-20) shocking impact is good but not great so far. I actually added 5 or so pit levels by reworking a bit to add in Esadora's but still too weak on bosses.
I went back to D3 for a bit on Wednesday and for the first time I felt D4 is now a better game. Once the leaderboards are in place there won't be a reason to play D3 again.
The only thing I want to know, to decide if I want to play again: - Is class balance there now? - Are they going to fight dupers? - Is masterworking improved?

I understand the frustration of the hardcore gamers with D4, but not everyone is a giga blaster than can spend over 400hrs per season. If PoE2 can satisfy them, sure, go for it and giga blast the endgame. Personally, i just want a D4 refresh every couple of months and chill.
Why does everyone intentionally keep giving this disingenuous descritptor for what PoE is like? You don't have to play 400hrs per season. It also refreshes every couple of months.
"I just want to eat my slop"
i`m not hardcore gamer , just play like a week with SB and i`m blasting everything , at the begining the feeling was nice but then you just get bored because nothing else to do.
Why are you defending a company that doesn't care about you? Babe, CEOs are getting shot, act your wage.
Agreed
It's hard to get excited about Season 7 with Path of Exile 2 just around the corner. I've been playing Diablo 4 since Season 1 and have already explored every class and build multiple times. At this point, the only thing keeping me interested is the introduction of new seasonal mechanics. If Season 7’s Witch Powers don’t offer a significant amount of fresh, fun gameplay, I won’t stick around beyond the first week. I think a lot of long-time players feel the same way.
Yup. Diablo 4 has turned into a 10 day per season kinda thing for me.
Here here. Same with me
There's zero endgame activity at this point, I'm tired of killing tormented bosses and IH was fun for a minute but there is zero meaningful growth besides paragon 300 which I stopped at 278 and was just done and burnt out
Oh yeah POE2 comes out tomorrow and I'm excited for that at least! Haha!!
I'm just so board of it already. There's little to no actual end game.
I've not had a strong enough reason to get a ps5. Po2 changes that.
While I don't personally like D4, I love your content and I think its awesome that you are here to cover this stuff and give your opinion. You do not need me to tell you this but you are doing great! Keep it up man!

I don't even think they expect you to play longer than a week or 2.

Excited to play this season. Alternating between this and PoE2 - eating well this holiday season

An absolute breath of fresh air right here. I'm so tired of the "d4 sucks, poe2 or whatever other game is better" comments. I can't understand hate watching videos on a game if the said person doesn't enjoy it. They should take that wasted time and go play said game they enjoy or anything they enjoy for that matter

stcik to poe 2 wtf is there to do in d4 u see this season its bad. u get more powers to level wonder how many times theye have done a season like that hmmmmm
Paragon is across characters i have 4 chars and Para 294 atm

The armory is cool but with the state of the game we can't afford a 2nd build. Not a proper version of a build anyways with how expensive masterworking is, and how low the ancestral drop rates have been on live.
Hopefully this opens up in the future
SEVEN SEASONS to get an armoury? Yeah, moving on...
You nailed it.
You must not be doing the right content if you think gold is an issue for you.
Dude , skill issue I have 4 builds of gear maxed on 3 characters using 1 character to farm that isn't a Spiritborn.
D4 just happens to be where his heart is and the bread and butter that built his brand. after 200 hours on poe 2 i need to break, pumped for s7. titan quest 2 comes out this year too, and the old devs from d2 are making a new arpg. we eating good.
I've turned the PTR off after 15 minutes, since buff wasn't working, Im kind of giving up on the half-baked PTR's and not-baked at all seasons.
Define “slowly”
@@andredornelles8014 LOL, seems with each season we get some sort of new feature that is permanent that improves it, but tbh, it's stuff that should have been there since launch, like the Armory.
@@dualisticmix agreed, so it’s “Diablo-like-slowly”
@@andredornelles8014 slowly means slowly, like literally.
POE2 definitely requires quite a bit more hands on where as D4 can be played in your sleep
I’d rather have the challenge / rewarding feeling rather than mindless gameplay
I think you need to review your capabilites after saying D4 is superior to POE 2 Early Access... D4 now seems like a mobile phone game with trash mechanics... game made for kids only.
Player issue.
If you cant kill a boss, do content you can clear, get stronger, be stronger after x time, kill the boss you wanted to kill earlier and feel nice that you where able to get stronger to move on 😅
Armory is cool, but it really needed to come with a lot of additional storage. Without that it's not nearly as useful as you all think it'll be.
Arrowhead Game Studio: "a game for everyone is a game for no one".
Blizzard: Diablo 4 has surpassed all sales numbers for all the previous Diablo games. Diablo 3 previously was one of if not the fastest selling pc game of all time when it launched and D4 beat that. game killer for me, not playing for 10 seasons because of exactly that, I wasted so much time on rare runes for mythics without knowing how hard it was, killed the season for me
you don't have to do that, just target farm them. This was my first season actually getting them because I could actually kill stuff on my own. I kinda agree though runes suck as it is needing them for that isn't good either.
Runes are so easy to get. What do you mean super rare?
Good vid mate 🎉
Watching this video footage, I see no difference from the other seasons. No effort to compete for dominance at all from Blizzard.

In essence, can you collect unlimited cinders without losing them? Are the Helltides in the red zones still only 50 minutes long? Have they added more or any larger price chests? Since this season you can collect tons of cinders, the number of chests, especially the 250 chests are very sparse. Thanks for your channel!
8:09 so we get MORE visual pollution. Awesome.
Season of the death of visual clarity
Visual clarity was DOA. It did not pass away this season.
Its been there from the start. You have never really been able to see anything once you get some skills going.
A second death then
It's weird that Rhykker didn't get any Spirit Boons, it must have been bugged for him.
The respondent spark doesn't matter if the runes are impossible to get
Nothing looks/feels new, I think with POE2 release tomorrow they really needed to bring it to keep their audience engaged this season and....I think they missed the mark unfortunately.

Ouch! Lol
You already paid money to test the game for them for 6 seasons. Might as well keep going.🤡🤡🤡
Does it still cost gold to respec Paragon Board ?
When I played the game on release it didn't and was a total joy to tune every log in and test
Earthquake was my most fun build in Diablo 3, cant wait trying it out in D4.
I will be playing both. thanks Rhykker, keep up news on ALL ARPG.
I think it's time for diablo-like Giga-chad CEO to step out from his chair...
Why? To them he is a success. He gets the diablo fan bois to keep buying their trash.
PoE2 TOMORROW BABY
I fully agree with your day 1 feelings of the new witchtide zones. It's chaos. Most of the time I didn't feel a connection between my own actions and completing the whispers. It's weird. Maybe that'll get better in time. Either way I didn't hate it, but it didn't feel great either.
Lets see how many poe 2 comment we will get here
At least 95%
Poe 2
D4 bad
Poe 2
Wow I was just thinking about poe2
Literally every other youtuber that's remotely gaming related is going all in on PoE2. Rhykker you are consistent and loyal lol.
He'll be doing Poe 2 , trust me. He isn't giving up on all that hype money.
Going to be playing PoE2 in another day. I seriously doubt I ever touch D4 again.
Assuming the servers don't explode. I hope I can get in, but I'm bracing myself for the first few days to be complete chaos.
@@Xero_Kaiser I really really hope you are wrong but probably not. Been waiting for this game for way too long and doing the announcement so far away from release is cruel lol.
See you next season, bro.
@@Xero_Kaisertbh I hope they can handle it
@@Xero_Kaiser GGG have already said they expect the servers to be shaky
hiya, why not give your thoughts on the still missing ancestral aspects? sstill missing in PTR? tqqq
@@digital2701361 There you go. The same very nuanced opinion of the game is just trash. Seems shiting on D4 because it is D4 seems to be a trend.
@@digital2701361just proved their point personally I think Poe is trash doesn’t mean I’m right
23:43 what I was afraid of.
In my opinion, no one is complaining for no reason. There's more than enough reason to complain.
Game is trash. That's why people are complaining.
Exactly. Getting so sick of being forced into dome crappy meta build.
Not true, its funny how so many toxic people hate on the game and call its too easy etc. and then you say you need to play 15h every day? It simple don't make sense to say.
@@sipjedekat8525 You don't have to do this at all. There isn't even any real reason you have to go beyond T1 to play all the content in the game.
@@rla9889 Real good game design, bro.
unless I'm missing something in my build ( possible) i can't see Ball Lightning being nearly as powerful as fireball. Sorc in a bad spot. not even gonna try a cold build.
BTW high rank (like 15-20) shocking impact is good but not great so far. I actually added 5 or so pit levels by reworking a bit to add in Esadora's but still too weak on bosses.
Don't worry guys. They will fix the game next season.
next DLC lol, you'll need to pay for the fix
Laughs in baal
@@Mystery__Guest The sad thing is, people will pay for it.
Good video glad they added armory and added seasonal powers!
Only took 7 seasons and over 100 dollars from everyone.🤣🤣🤣
As loyal to Diablo as I am, I am convinced that D4 is currently run by interns.
I believe there is a problem with leadership, actually.
I went back to D3 for a bit on Wednesday and for the first time I felt D4 is now a better game. Once the leaderboards are in place there won't be a reason to play D3 again.
Brand loyalty is stupid and that's how we got here. You diablo fan bois buying anything they put out.
@digital2701361 I agree that brand loyalty is asinine. I'm slightly scratching my head about how that is relevant...
The only thing I want to know, to decide if I want to play again:
- Is class balance there now?
- Are they going to fight dupers?
- Is masterworking improved?
POE2 community is so damn toxic in these comments. Wtf
When does season 7 launch?😊
Dude, Rhykker, please don't start doing those titles like DM. It's cringe. You're way too good a content creator and straight shooter for nonsense like that. We're gonna watch anyway if you put it in the title.
If macrobioboi reveres you, you've got my attention
Appreciate you still doing this content. But the sadness for the game is noticeable. Love that you glazed over the armory. We wanted, got it. We know how it works. Boom
Only took 7 seasons to get something that was in the last game they made 10 years ago.🤣🤣🤣
7 seasons of content, and an xpac, and still maybe only a quarter of the replay value of POE2
