Thank you Ebb!! I appreciate the well wishes and hope you also have a great year. Starting a new anything is always exciting with opportunity. Thanks for watching!!! ❤️🌲
Looks great and you haven't touched it yet! Great pot as always and look at that primary trees bark, very nice...Rocks, agreed, I'm using stones in practically all my Jade's, not sure why I started this but I like the look...Get well and Happy New Year to you and yours...Thanks for sharing...
The trees do tend to start out from a better place the older that they get which is all part of the wonderful patience reward. The trunks really advanced this last year - I can’t wait to see what they do this summer which is when they really start cooking. I’m with you on the stones - started as structural for me and has ended up more an aesthetic choice. Have you watched cm bonsai channel? Chris marshal is an absolute master of landscape, penning, and natural looking compositions. I aspire to move in his direction! As always, thanks for watching and you support of my channel - much much appreciated. ❤️☕️
🤣. Bonsai pressure is the only thing that motivates me these days!! I’ve got so many that need pruning I may need to start deputizing locals to help me out! ❤️🌲❤️☕️
Lovely forest. Almost all my plantings have rocks. There are rocks and crystals all around in the forest where I live. Best of year to you. I am very optimistic about finally making a bonsai that doesn’t die right away.
Rocks rock!!🎸 🤣 Sounds like a lovely place to live, hike, explore, and grow bonsai! Also, best of luck on a surviving bonsai. It does take a long time to figure it out - anyone who has been doing this successfully now paid their dues with many dead trees! It’s just all part of the patient learning process. Also, with each new species, you have to relearn how to make it thrive so it takes a very long time to figure all that out for your specific climate. So, enjoy the journey and learn what you can from each tree death to up the chances on the next one. I think succulents help a tremendous amount. Also, Chinese elm or juniper are very heady for outdoor trees if you like those. I found those ones reasonably bullet proof. Best of luck for 25 and thanks for being a part of my channel!! ❤️🌲❤️☕️
That’s a winner Nathan / Dan! 🤣 Have a Great new year my friend. My New Year’s resolution is a tough one this year - to buy more pots that are not blue or green! Very difficult task ahead of me here for 25!!! 🤣 ❤️🌲❤️☕️
🤣🤣. It’s a goal Dave, we’ll see how well I do. I just bought 4 pots, let’s see - a green, clay, yellow, and a sort of twilight grey colored one. ☝️. Good so far this year!! 🤣
❤❤❤
