It's not an exact copy. The slide on the Hongdui one is dovetailed in, stopping the slide moving up if you slacken the screw too far. Useful rendition of a very old jig design.
I tried that combo square, it has a stupid pin design that only works one way and is a nightmare to replace the ruler. Avoid it like the plague. I have a real issue with Bangood copying the designs of other brands. A kerf maker is nothing new, but dressing it up to exactly resemble an existing product is poor form. They could make it just as cheap and functional without the blatent design fraud.

Turn the wood and kerf maker around and it will be easy to operate!!!!!
You should of done the gold measurement second and the red one last it is easier
