It was actually pretty wise to get pork roll when they did. With one of the other two dogs nearing the end of life getting a third (and integrating them into the family beforehand) meant the surviving one had a companion still and help ease some of the distress of losing their other friend.
I don’t agree. I think it’s rather selfish to write off your old dog. A new dog is going to take time and patience, all which should be allocated to your aging best friend. No, you don’t go looking for your replacement dog when the one you have gets old.That’s callousness.
Wow, really? We weren’t “writing off” Athena. She LOVES being around as many dogs as possible so Pork Roll gave her an extra boost. She took him in like a little baby & she loves being a mama dog. She wanted the best for her little brother Dime and knew that he needed a companion for once she crossed over the rainbow bridge.

I love bullies! I've watched this video of Pork Roll several times because he reminds me so much of the first bully I ever adopted - Luna. She was the opposite of him when I adopted her, skinny as a rail. She was fierce and intimidating if you just looked at her, but she was the gentlest, most loving dog you could ever meet. She loved children and was famous in my neighborhood for her big wet kisses. Pork Roll is so lucky to have found such loving and wonderful parents. I hope he has the best life a dog could ever wish for!

My dog loves getting new toys but she has her favorites and I have had to buy several of them. So now I always make sure to buy a pair when I go out. She’s so thankful when she gets her gifts! So now she has two baskets full of toys that she has to knock over after every time I clean them up! She’s like “No mom, I want them all over the floor for easy access!!
We added a dog to our family when I was 9. I went right out and bought her a squeaky toy. I'm in my 70's, and I've still got it. It's yellow with age, but otherwise in perfect condition. Oh, and it still squeaks.
Bully breeds are highly intelligent, loyal, loving, protective, and passionately emotional. I hope the negative stigma around these breeds improves and more people can understand how safe and loving these dogs really are.

Knowing him as you do, Pork Roll was probably too sweet to fight which is what they do with dogs in the UK when they've cropped their ears, and they made him fat to look more intimidating. Cropping ears is illegal in the UK. Is it illegal in the US? The pain for them must be unbearable. Thank you again.💞

For me it was horses, it could have been any animal but for some reason horses resonated with me this year. I discharged from the navy with mental issues and feeling quite depressed, bought a horse and even though she was wild and unbroken being with her made me feel so calm, happy and in the moment. Since then I've bought 2 more, this time rideable, and without them I don't know where I'd be. I drive 3 hour round trips to see them several times a week. Keep in mind I've never had horses before this year or rode them, but I literally blossomed this year. I think I need to pursue a future career with animals for sure.

They take neglected horses and work with people with learning disabilities who have high anxiety, and they use them to mirror each other’s body language and fall into a state of relaxation. It’s amazing to watch.
For me it's not just my dog but my cats as well. My dog cuddles right into me and we feel so bonded. My cats will lay on my lap or curl up with me in bed and the minute they start to purr it's pure relaxation and comfort and nothing in the world is a better or more beautiful feeling. Could not live without my beautiful babies.

As Pitbulls are banned in the UK Dog fighting isn't a practice here. It is illegal to Doc Dogs ears. I've never seen that in the UK.

For me it was horses, it could have been any animal but for some reason horses resonated with me this year. I discharged from the navy with mental issues and feeling quite depressed, bought a horse and even though she was wild and unbroken being with her made me feel so calm, happy and in the moment. Since then I've bought 2 more, this time rideable, and without them I don't know where I'd be. I drive 3 hour round trips to see them several times a week. Keep in mind I've never had horses before this year or rode them, but I literally blossomed this year. I think I need to pursue a future career with animals for sure.

They take neglected horses and work with people with learning disabilities who have high anxiety, and they use them to mirror each other’s body language and fall into a state of relaxation. It’s amazing to watch.
For me it's not just my dog but my cats as well. My dog cuddles right into me and we feel so bonded. My cats will lay on my lap or curl up with me in bed and the minute they start to purr it's pure relaxation and comfort and nothing in the world is a better or more beautiful feeling. Could not live without my beautiful babies.
