Mr K B, an idea I have had.....when it's an interesting and respectfully, "positive" interaction you could ask for example constable Williams to engage in the comments. Could really help bridge the gap and I think would be very interesting. Some kind of q&A . Maybe he has commented and you could flag it up for subs to have a 'friendly' discussion.😎

Thomas Hobbs (a 17th century philosopher), came up with the "Social contract theory", in that he said that people feel secure in groups (or gangs), so when a police constable meets another police constable wearing the same defaced Union flag, it gives them a sense of security and protection.
Typically, people who enter into the social contract theory are usually very insecure and can't understand why others are reluctant to do the same, so they will argue with you when you stand against authority, which is why they get so aggressive.

Love how pc Willy got all ancient Greek philosophical and political. He gets a 8/10 for his professionalism for me as they should've identified and informed they were recording. Bsedies that, good interaction. Strange how different it is to how sensitive the met is. Must be the air they breathe lmao

Fair play kolee good interaction , you explained stuff, coppers were spot on, especially the one who talked alot he was decent, and seemed too know the score and was respectful. You could have said you would blur number plates out but thats a personal choice. Bit of a head scratcher, The officer said try not to film the road and vehicles , yet the position he was stood in made your camera face the road and vehicles lol all the time he spoke instead of him coming the other side of you.

If the cops had just ignored you this video would not see the light of day. The more they keep giving content the longer the audit will last.

I partially agree. I don't think they can ignore it when it comes to areas like this. Although it should have been a shorter interaction, a random person walking around an area like this is something to discuss with that person. If these cops at the met or any other station this man had filmed, there would be a lot better view of the police because of his videos, alas the met is another beast.

Half way through and the copper has told anyone who didn’t know what goes on goes on. He’s a liability to the facility and it’s staff.
He should play it if as if nothing happens of interest.

There are tv documentaries about the place and much of the work they do, which explain far more than that copper mentioned.

I'm only 17 mins in, but... It seems as though this channel is about catching the "authority" over-stepping and shaming that behaviour.
This guy hasn't so far hasn't over stepped at all and in fact was very courteous and honest that there is no law he can use. I say, well played to them.
Not that I could ever do what you do, but in this case, I might have suggested I would phase out faces/plates.

Dressed in black, wearing his Batman vest, gun slung low like a western gunfighter, gang badge, all this to police morals and ethics according to him! Then we see Batmans side kick Robin filming away and looking very suspicious!
