Hello! So i’ve been thinking about the Marines a lot, I am going to be a freshman in high school soon so it is not the time for me to make a decision. My dad is a Marine and both sides of my family have a history in the military. I really want to end up in the Marines, the only thing that is holding me back is the fact that I am terrified of death. Is there anything that you think you could tell me that would make me more confident about it? Thank you for your service as always 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Just a tip. Your math on the minimum wage is a little off. The industry uses "2080" hours as the total hours worked for a a year during a regular 8 hour work day. This is used because there are months with more than 30 days in it. $7.25 x 2080= $15,080
His math is spot on. Average full time hours for a month are calculated 160hrs/mo (40hrs/wk). 160hrs x 12 mo= 1920hrs worked a year.... multiply min wage $7.25 x 1920= $13,920
@@a.cummings143 It's not. I always used to do the math like you laid out but the yearly hours worked/paid is actually 2080 hours.
