Lotus created an amazing vehicle, there are tons of customizations possible, including external colours and wheels, and great options for the interior, I find all of them of beautiful.
Is the original iPhone still supported with over the air updates? I wonder how long this car will be... Do you know about timed obsolescence? EVs are disposable cars.
Do you know that modern petrol cars are exactly like EVs? They have also a ton of electronics and most of them are equiped with the same kind of infotainment systems. Maybe entry level petrol news cars doesn't have screens but you still have a ton of electronics as well.
@@hcw199 Yeah that's true but it all depends the price you get, I have friends who bought second hand EVs (Kia Eniro) and they're super happy with it. With LFP batteries taking over the whole market this problem of not knowing the battery health will be reduced, LFP batteries have a longer life.
@@hcw199yeah definitely a huge touchscreen and touch panels will "classic" some day. Wake up every ice car is in the software and hardware department 1:1 an EV. It's just sound or no sound these days...
Disgrace to lotus heritage. All these generic 4dr super EV is killing me. I am an EV fan but even I am getting sick of the redundancy. This is just a Chinese car with a lotus badge
Most cars are global nowadays so your comment doesn't make sense. Brands who don't match the current market and try to reinvent themselves will just die, that's why all brands does SUV and EVs now even Ferrari and Rolls.
@@manu.yt25 this is not reinventing. They're just diluting themselves. This car offers nothing more than a Porsche taycan or Audi etron or Tesla model s or lucid air
@@mluu510 Offering "nothing more" than Porsche Taycan is pretty great I think honestly given that this is the industry standard for sport EVs. For the rest feel free to ignore this model if it doesn't fit your need or taste, manufacturers have to produce a wide range of models for different needs and customers....
@@mluu510 It offers more space, faster in terms of track time, better technology, driver assistance, nicer interior design and material/quality than all four cars you mentioned and it is also cheapest of all. It also has the most exterior color options although I prefer Audi GT and Taycan's look more, but objectively way better looking than a Model S or Lucid Air GT. The value for money is through the roof.
every car the world uses mostly Chinese made components. even Toyota's and BWMs are Chinese cars if you count how the ratio of components that are from China
All cars will have batteries in a very near future, producing an EV is becoming much cheaper than petrol cars (3x less parts), no one will be able afford a petrol car in 2030 when owning an EV will be much cheaper....
Love the design of this car, great job Lotus!

So the comments are lotus should carry on making light sporty cars that no one buys? Don't forget they are a business that have struggled for years

@@manu.yt25have some pity for @hcw199 - his aging run down body is no longer able to handle the acceleration an EV can provide.
